Hello there.

My name is Kevin "Biomech" Putzier, General Manager of the GameCredits (formerly Gamers-coin) project. We have prior claim to the GMC ticker. Given the number of altcoins, I am proceeding from the assumption that you simply didn't know. Please choose a new ticker and inform your exchanges of the same. We are already well established with the GMC ticker, and would like to avoid confusion and conflict regarding this matter.

Thank you!

EDIT, for more information regarding our coin, please see this thread, and reference the original. We've been around for a while Cheesy https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1010745.msg10966191#msg10966191

If it is I am sure they will take necessary action to change it up to something that you wont be bothered by.

That is our hope as well. Given the proliferation of alts, it's quite likely simply an oversight.

It was an oversight on our part, and we will change our ticker to GRM. Thanks for letting us know!

Thank you kindly!

Have you seen a new coin called GridMasterCoin is using GMC ticket?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1089741.0

They've got listed at Yobit and seems enthusiast to be accepted by Bittrex.

We have prior claim. And can prove it.

It may take a few days, but we have a gentleman working on a Mac wallet.

By "we", I mean a few members of the GameCredits team, and Marcetin. Wallet dev is anonymous pending their permission to publish Cheesy

OP updated, you'll note we now have a compiled OSX wallet!

Thanks to Billotronic for this. Also, have updated the pools list and a bit of cleanup... and stay tuned for some press releases in the very near future Cheesy GMC is going to conquer. Don't miss out!
687  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Sfards: SF100-the first 28nm Dual-Mode Miner gets into mass production on: June 25, 2015, 06:31:15 PM
There is another option that occurs to me. Sfards could partner with Bitmaintech for a new gen Antminer powered by the sfards chips... Their announcement was vague enough that this could already be the case. Two chinese companies will already understand the dynamics of price wars AND collaboration. Both have been quite successful in their niches (yes, I realise that Sfards is technically a new company, but it's built on Gridseed's proven record).
688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [TEK] TEKcoin Hi-PoS hybrid pos/pow no premine/ipo/ico on: June 25, 2015, 04:31:38 PM
how much TEKcoins will be ?
the nummber?

No upper limit.
then the price cant go really up  Sad

One would think... but it has gone pretty stable over the course of several months. Also the inflation controls seem to work rather well. High POS coins are speculative at best, but this one has performed remarkably well over it's lifetime.

Hy,
where can i download the p2pool node?
i found only 1 node. But, what is p2p with one node?
I will setup a new node on my Miner-Control.de site.
Can anybody give me the github link?
Best regards

SpAcEDeViL here's the Git LINK.
I hope that'll help.
Cheers

Nope. There is no p2pool.

I personally know little about p2pool, but at least one outfit did successfuly port it. I would recommend contacting that pool, and see if they have the modified source. I'd greatly appreciate it if you do find out if you inform us here, and we'll add it to the OP and other resources. Sorry for the confusion. I know standard pools, and only really care for MPOS, but p2pool is outside of my experience.

Anyone else know the answer? Help a devil out Cheesy

When you have only one "p2pool" node, thats not p2p...

i what to install a node on my Miner-Control.de Site.

Please ask in the new thread, as I don't know the answer. But there's some smart folks over there that probably do Cheesy

Thanks and welcome aboard! I'll see to it you get added to the OP as well. (I don't control that account, so it might take a little bit)

Ok...

All other things being equal, and a bit of a derail. But... Why the HELL is eleuthria's trust rating so low? Mine is higher, and I mostly just talk.

The trust system seems really arbitrary.

Eleuthria has a trust rating visible to me of 10: -0 / +1

Yours is all 0's.

So what does that mean?

yeah, the system is fubar. I just wish that the default people paid more attention... Or it was abolished altogether. On my side it was showing him at 5, and me at 30. Mine probably shouldn't be anywhere near that high, and his should have at least a couple more zeroes.

I really dont understand why people trash talk on phil review. Phil is a well know reviewer that do it perfectly.
Doesnt matter if he sell gear after. He didnt beg he propose his help to make a review.

I will not buy any miner without review.

MOQ of 100. ahahah without any review. Well good luck on that.

Again nice centralisation of the mining.

Really sad about how this is going.

Centralisation of mining? What are you on about, this isn't Bitmain or any of the big dogs. This is actually a new company from a merger that happened, I don't get your point.

the Point is, that they only want to sell in batches of 100 Unit's. That lead into a Situation where only Big Mining Farms will buy that Miner.

Actually pretty normal practice for a manufacturer. They'll want to get it distributed via resellers and VAR's, so they don't have to deal directly with the end user. Whether such a model will work in the digital currency world remains to be seen, but I don't see it as centralization. I'd be looking to the retailers very soon.
696  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Sfards: SF100-the first 28nm Dual-Mode Miner gets into mass production on: June 24, 2015, 02:31:44 PM
But I have no need to review one others can do good reviews.

OgNasty doe review and gb. Simples.

Dogie do no two review.

no knock on OgNasty or dogie  , but I would like to see sfards words not a newbie's

And like I said I don't need to review this, I offered to review it. In fact I would offer to review it and mail it back to sfards rep here in the USA.

Which means zero financial gain on my part and I would lose the postage mailing it back to  sfards rep in the usa.

That makes me about as neutral as you will get in the world of BTC-LTC.

And I made this offer months ago.  Go back and find the post.  And I was attacked and insulted back then by a newbie.  Which prompted me to withdraw the offer.

I find it interesting that as soon as I mention reviewing this gear newbies turn up to attack me.

Why?

Simples you beg and beg.  If wes need help with rental wes ask you....  Now you offer to mail back.... so you does not want to pays for unit?

Og and Dogie both no beg.  You needy.

I know I'm a bit late to the fight here, and I usually don't bother with obvious trolls. But...
You're full of shit.

Philip has been an asset to miners in general for a LONG time. Not only that, he will help out a newbie without making them feel like an idiot. nearly a year ago, when I was making stupid mistakes with my gridseed, he very kindly helped me out via PM for no return. Just because he was cool. He and I are nothing to each other. Not friends or enemies, just miners on the same forum. Don't besmirch the reputation of a man who has earned a good one.

Sometimes I gotta wonder what drugs you trolls take...
697  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Sfards: SF100-the first 28nm Dual-Mode Miner gets into mass production on: June 24, 2015, 02:25:27 PM
I would def. be interested in a Group Buy especially if OgNasty is doing it-- count me in for 10+ depending on price....

price has importance but I would really like to see some good reviews on this item.

paying say 750 usd (I think higher)  sounds pretty good price.  but if the gear does 1500gh and 40 mhs and spends 1100 watts

it is not a good deal.  Minimum 100 order with no recourse for low specs is making me gun shy.

I would suggest a few good demos of the gear are more important then doing a group buy.

A) prisma had fire issues.
B) spondolllies sp20 was a 1200gh good efficiency miner 1400 so so   and 1600 power burner.

C) if these chips scale like the sp20 running them at 1400gh and 40 mhs may be the realistic number.

I would hate for a lot of us buying and hoping for 1700gh and 50mhs and having to settle for a lot less.

remember  gridseeds never did dual mining well.

So I do urge some verified demos reviews etc

Yes yes Dogie need to review.  He no beg over and over like some others......

yeah thats right he should do a review, but if he is the only pre reviewer I won't buy one of these.

I want more then one reviewer.

That was a politically correct way of stating that, I was thinking i would prefer someone that will actually put the miner through some stress testing and not just a bunch of pretty pictures and regurgitating the instruction book--lol

I have seen many bad mining gear.  Under spec slow delivery .  I would hate for a lot of us to buy 100 or 200 in a pre order and not like the gear.

We now have a newbie calling me a beggar.  So I ask why?
If the gear runs well send out some review units. I don't see any posts from the company. I see a puppet dissing me.  Why?

Philip has been one hell of a resource here. I don't see any begging going on. Nothing he said implies that HE wanted a review units.

So I'll throw my two cents in, sfards. Send one to Dogie and to Phillip. Whatever you lose in shipping and those two units will pay for itself a hundred times over if the units perform well under those two gentelmen's reviewing process.
698  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Sfards: SF100-the first 28nm Dual-Mode Miner gets into mass production on: June 24, 2015, 02:19:31 PM
I wonder if it will be possible to tune Scrypt and SHA256 separately?  I'm guessing that it's just based on the frequency of the whole chip, so probably not, but it would be neat if we could crank up the hashrate on the Scrypt side while keeping SHA256 side more power efficient if Scrypt were to be paying better...

I've never even tried to dual mine with my original five chip gridseed, so this is hearsay at best, but it was my understanding that the two modes are completely separate and can be tuned as such. Can anyone confirm or clarify this? (tempted to try)

Easy, this wont be right if we have no FUD Wink

LOL!

shavers sent me to have a look. Interesting coin, I may just have to mine it Cheesy And so very true about FUD. If the coin works, the only "bad" publicity is silence.

To the guy above... Bittrex delisted us while we were fixing problems. If they wish to pick it up again, we'll be happy about it, but in the meantime, we're on Poloniex, and on the voting list for Cryptopia. I'd also like to see our coin get on Cryptsy.

On to something else: When our biggest miner dropped, I panicked... and the network is still there Cheesy There are miners AND pools out there that we at the foundation are unaware of. If you're mining at a pool other than GMC! or Acidpool, or the p2pool node noted in the OP, PLEASE post it up here! If you own such a pool, the same holds. The more, the better the security of the network. Just because the foundation runs and endorses a couple of pools don't mean we have any intention of being exclusive!

That being said... We need miners! At whatever pool or solo, we need more miners. We're trying to take this coin into uncharted territory, and it needs to be robust enough to handle that. I want to see GH or even TH numbers in nethashpersec when I run my daemon's getmininginfo function Cheesy To those of you interested in the coin but mining others for more immediate profit, please consider load balancing and lending us a piece of your hashrate.

Also, the temporary loss of our biggest miner demonstrated something else, very positive. Our fix to the retargeting worked just fine Cheesy Network dropped by two thirds, and the gap between blocks was not very much.
