681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - July 29 on: August 01, 2023, 02:19:31 PM

If ever they will bring this rematch into the table, if both camps will agree, maybe it will take place.

Who knows if Spence will perform well and clear that excuses and convert it to a success, though seeing the fight the
winning chance might be slim. The level of fighting greatness from Crawford is way high compared with Spence, it
might be concluded if ever we hear an update with any negotiation about possible rematch.

Promoters would still make money in the rematch, so if both camps want to make it happen, there should be no problem in terms of profitability.

Although it was very evident how dominant Crawford was in the first fight, the outcome was still very entertaining, so the fans would still watch it.

This could be like a Pacman vs Morales situation, where Pacman lost in the first fight but came back in the next two fights to dominate Morales. So, let's not be too conclusive here; anything could change as Spence could figure out his mistakes and improve himself in the rematch, if it's going to happen.

He would go for a rematch if he wants to make more money and would enjoy an easy win again. I'm not underestimating Spence, but the cards were already laid on the table. Spence was probably exposed, and there's no way he will even the rivalry. Crawford moving up is the best decision, in my opinion. That way, Crawford will be able to test his limits as he has already become an undisputed champion. Perhaps he can follow what Inoue and Canelo did after they became undisputed champions. Unfortunately, Canelo failed in his attempt, but Inoue had success, so maybe he will have success too.

Maybe the outcome of Canelo vs Jermell Charlo fight is very important because if Jermell Charlo were to win, I'm sure Crawford would see it as a good opportunity to fight Jermell Charlo by moving up, as a win would make him more popular.
682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight (july15,2023 on: August 01, 2023, 01:35:31 PM
These are the current champions in the division.

Quote
WBO: Jason Moloney

IBF: Vacant

WBA: Takuma Inoue

WBC: Alexandro Santiago

There's a vacant title, which is the IBF, and as we can see from the rankings at https://www.boxingscene.com/rankings, the top 3 boxers include only one Filipino. However, if we look at the WBO rankings, Reymart Gaballo is currently ranked number 1, which means he could be a challenger to Jason Moloney in a mandatory fight. Just imagine, if Reymart Gaballo secures the IBF belt, he can have a unification fight against any of the champions, and it's possible that he could become an undisputed champion, as none of the current champions are as strong as Inoue.

Bantamweight IBF Top 3 Boxers
Emmanuel Rodriguez
Melvin Lopez
Reymart Gaballo
683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does cryptocurrency actually solve any problems? on: July 31, 2023, 10:04:25 PM
Been asked a couple of times, what problems does cryptocurrency solve, and what’s its unique value proposition compared to other cryptocurrencies or traditional financial systems.  Would love any other users take on this ..
Bitcoin has been useful just in a few things,
  - payment option
  - profitable investment

Though not totally is gives 100% help to the people at least it changes the life status of some individuals by improving their financial capabilities. And also, for those who are a fan of online shopping and paying a bill, Bitcoin serves as their option and make their life easy. It matters how people are using this but for me, I appreciate its existence coz I see how it helps me a lot.
684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'll always tell people about bitcoin on: July 30, 2023, 09:57:16 PM
This days lot of bitcoiners are scared of introducing bitcoin to people because of they  do not want to be blame if the investment ends bad. Most people have lost good relationships with family and friends all because of introduction to financial investment with no profit and this made them to take a serious decision never to make any introduction about money to anybody again.  As for me I'll always introduce bitcoin to people because it is money, people needs money for better life.  It is my duty to tell about bitcoin to people and it is their decision to invest in it.

Because of the risk that is in bitcoin it won't stop me from telling people about bitcoin which will better their life if they found it interesting.
I didn't do that OP. Teaching about Bitcoin should be done to interested people otherwise, you are wasting your time doing it. I'm not afraid to be blamed as they can't do it because as long as they will understand clearly, there is no reason of blaming you back from the mistakes and losses. But if you do this to the people who are not interested and just think that investing is 100% sure profit, you can really be expecting that.

Perhaps, nobody will stop you but the question is .what is the output of your teaching? Is it effective or not?
685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight (july15,2023 on: July 29, 2023, 01:52:06 PM

Nonito was most taller, So he get more range as compared to other people. The shorter boxer will be easy for the Nonito, he can crush the short boxer using his hand power. In addition he had a power punch compared to the Santiago.Santiago had win many old experience boxer using his power arm. This fight will against the two power arm fighter. So the game winner will be the maximum punch player. The Nonito should win the game against the Santiago to prove his power against the most powerful player. This will make them to prove his power and make other to think about the match, even this help the Nonito to get the championship.

Nonito Donaire could win this fight easily because of his natural speed and power but the problem here is if he can still manage to take punches and managed to survive up to 12 rounds of non-stop action. Because as we know, he is no longer feeling like his old self, and taking multiple power punches is way more harder than before. Most likely he will higher his chance to win when Santiago distances himself and will not gonna choose to throw multiple power punches throughout the rounds because he is scared of the counter punches from Donaire.

I'm pretty confident that Donaire could still survive in a 12 round judging on Santiago's style of boxing. I mean he's the kind of boxer who does not have a good footwork and head movements and he's not a knock out puncher as well, it is a perfect thing of an opponents disadvantage for Donaire as he still has the speed and a bit of power is still there regardless of his age. Donaire does not need to knock his opponent down, he just need to play smart as he is out of his prime already and It was all evident from all his previous fights that he's easily gassed out in the later rounds - so that could turn out to be an advantage for Santiago to bring Donaire down.
The real question here is that, could Donaire still pull this one off and take his former vacant title?

I don't think it will reach the judges' scorecards. Santiago isn't a special boxer who poses a big threat to Donaire's goal of becoming the oldest champion. Look at Donaire's last 3 games (excluding Inoue); they were all KO wins, while Santiago's last 3 fights were won via decision. In case this fight goes to a decision, Donaire still has the edge, as he is taller and quicker. Age is just a number for him, as he has proven himself many times, and without Inoue in his path, things should not be hard for him.

We are going to find that out tomorrow as this fight might end early, considering it's an underdog fight. Currently, the moneyline odds for Donaire to win are 1.59. If he wins via decision, the odds would be 3.85. I'm wondering why there are no knockout odds yet. If anyone knows a sportsbook that has those odds, kindly share it here or just DM me.

If we are looking for early KOs, we might consider betting on these 3 possible outcomes with corresponding odds:

Round 1 @ 67
Round 2 @ 67
Round 3 @ 51
686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight (july15,2023 on: July 28, 2023, 11:09:39 AM
I think he should not be overlooking Santiago, in fact that's what I read from Nonito, he wanted to win this fight first before they talk about who's next for him. In the face-off, Donaire is the taller guy so that is a plus for him.

Having height advantage throughout his career, we have seen him knocking people out from Darchy to Ouballi before his reign was cut by Inoue. But now Donaire wanted to proved again that he can become a champion. So this is a step for him before we talk about him fighting for undisputed next.

Probably the only short boxer who beat Donaire was Inoue. But against the rest, he will likely dominate them in the fight. However, he does have some weaknesses, and one of them is probably his age. As we all know, when a boxer is getting older, his strength will also be affected. Nevertheless, since Alejandro Santiago does not have a special talent like Inoue, I believe Donaire can handle that and will be able to win the championship again.
687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: July 28, 2023, 10:14:29 AM
Now we have 2 games which is in first game rain or shine vs meralco bots and we are all know that rain shine has a good standing they have the 8-2 which means they have a good record and their lineups is also good. And for Meralco we all know about them they can dominate any team once they have the momentum in the early quarter. So this is a good matchup between meralco and rain or shine.

It looks like Rain or Shine vs. Meralco Bolts is having a close game now. The 2nd quarter has ended and Meralco is leading by 5 points. This game is going to be fun to watch as both teams have a good standing. However, if you compare these two in the regular season, Meralco Bolts are the better team. But being on tour, weaker teams are usually stronger, so my guess is that ROS will win.

Based on https://pba.ph/standings, they have a record of ;

ROS 8(W)-2(L)
Bolts 6(W)-4(L)
688  Economy / Speculation / Re: How did you see BTC in future? on: July 28, 2023, 09:47:28 AM
Kinda similar, but I reckon we wouldn't see a move up from $50k in 2024. We'd probably see a quick pump (towards new ATH, possibly 100k) at the last quarter of the year(2025),  and well it'd probably balance it out by staying at say $30k or so by 2026.

A lot of people expect the price to go above $100k but with how things have gone, I don't expect we'd see any bigger gains than $100k at most.
We couldn't expect but it is possible. Until now, we are not sure what will be the next ATH price for Bitcoin, it was certainly unpredictable but we are too positive that it will surpass the previous ATH. Well, what exactly are we gonna do for now is to prepare and fill our bag before it comes because it was useless thinking for $100k, $80k - if we don't have them when the price is just only $30k. It was exciting really and I take the chance while it was still low as I don't just speculate high but also take advantage of the situation.
689  Economy / Speculation / Re: Be patient and you will be there soon. on: July 27, 2023, 12:17:12 PM
Patience plays a very important role in making dreams come true, many Bitcoin Holders have achieved large profits by prioritizing patience in investment strategies. Bitcoin will continue to move up after going through several market fluctuations that keep the price down, when the price is $20k people will compete to have Bitcoin in the hope of selling it when the price reaches $30k. This is not the end of the Bitcoin movement, $40k is the next target and will continue to grow it will probably reach the $100k mark.
For investors who are patient, they will get more benefits than those who are satisfied with small profits, let Bitcoin continue to be stored in your Wallet, when the time is right, you will get big profits from patience in investing.

perhaps, you can't call yourself an investor if you never know how to wait patiently. And I see this is a common problem for most, they had to think bout investing and but too unfortunate that they can wait for a better price which is why - when they buy today, they also sell them by tomorrow. They'll think that investing in crypto is an easy way to grow their money but they are wrong as we can't underestimate the volatility and make us a loser of the game.

If we are impatient, therefore, I conclude that this is not the right place for us.
690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Education and money as the key to Bitcoin adoption. on: July 27, 2023, 11:42:48 AM
I'm sure everyone knows about bitcoin because nowadays there are a lot of advertisements on social media, television and so on and maybe because they don't understand how it works.
and this being the main reason why they don't buy bitcoin is the confusion and lack of understanding of bitcoin and the main finding is that having basic crypto knowledge is the most likely driver of adoption.
so education is a major factor and this cannot be found in school or anywhere else, and the self awareness to find and learn it on their own will allow them to use their money to buy bitcoins after realizing that bitcoin is the best investment and also the safest.
and in my opinion from time to time many bitcoin user investors continue to improve and develop, so let bitcoin run as it is because in the end everyone gets involved after realizing and finding their own way to educate about bitcoin as a whole and get involved.
In addition to this, many people proclaim themselves as an expert and created their own assumptions which also arises confusion and doubts. While there is a contradict opinions on the internet, we can still see people remain doubtful and ignore Bitcoin. And as long as scams still happening, the more it thinks that Bitcoin is not safe and is a scam thing.
It could be a proper education could help it out but I can't think it really convince everyone to adopt, some will still low and remain on fiat money.
691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Oleksandr Usyk VS Daniel Dubois For The Undisputed heavyweight champion on: July 27, 2023, 05:38:33 AM
By wins, both fighters are very close, By number of knockouts Dubois is scary yes, but I think he has had those wins and knockouts because he has not met a fighter like Usyk, and this will be his first time fighting him. Dubois has a new trainer so that can force some more improvement from Dubois more than what we have seen him and make this fight go in his favour. Usyk is not used to defeat, Dubois has learned a lesson from it having lost once. Usyk will not like to loose the fight, Dubois will not like this to be another fight that he will loose. The winner of this fight is not too obvious.
Both fighters can't afford to lose this fight, Usyk is still eyeing Fury for a huge paycheck, and Dubois will do everything to redeem himself and can't afford to lose this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

No, both fighters will stake everything to win, Usyk may have the upper hand because he is the more technical of the two but we all know Dubois is considered the new Mike Tyson, so one big punch that gets in it will be over.
Waiting for the press conference and face-off, there will be no thrash talks but that doesn't mean these two do not mean business.

Usyk has a lot at stake in this fight because if he loses, it will destroy his plan to have an undisputed fight with Fury. Usyk vs Fury is going to be a big fight, but Dubois can't be underestimated, even though he lost to Joe Joyce, as we never know his adjustments in this fight. There's no hype from the fans on this fight so far, but as soon as Usyk wins the fight, the hype will be high, and fans will be asking for Fury vs Usyk. So hopefully our expectation will happen.
692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title on: July 27, 2023, 05:17:13 AM

Inoue has fought in the US, but I do agree, Bob Arum knows the blue print of bringing Inoue to the US and have his name etch just like Pacquiao. But I guess Arum's counterpart in Japan doesn't want to take the risk of having Inoue fighting in the US for now. They prepare in the comfort of their own home court. But for us, the real test for Inoue is really in the US because of the huge boxing fans there. Maybe if he goes up again in weight and challenges for the belt at 126 lbs, it should be in the US by that time. As for this fight, Tapales is a huge under dog here, no doubt and because of that performance by Inoue, almost everyone is going to expect a knockout here.

I honestly don't think it's a problem for Inoue if he will fight in the US. The champion is known to be a KO artist, so as long as he wins his fights via KO, there should be no need for judges anymore. We saw how good he is, and I think it's time for him to fight in a country where he could potentially make a lot of money, just like what Pacman did. He took risks and fought in a big market, and now he is a wealthy man.
693  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I buy now or I should still wait for the dip? on: July 26, 2023, 01:26:54 PM
Good time to buy is when price hasn't crossed the old ATH, and that's when we have money, because even if the price falls further but if we don't have money, there is nothing we can do. One more thing, there is no guarantee that the halving is approaching that the market will rise without falling and conversely, bitcoin is always unpredictable. Therefore, before investing must always draw up a plan and follow the plan, we will not be confused and panic.
I agree to this. When you buy around these prices that means we are going to eventually be over the ATH price again and that means you are going to more than double your money as well, that's an important thing and everyone should consider it as an important part of your investment. I know that not a lot of people see it that way but that's how it should be done.

Unfortunately too many people see it at the low price and think that they should stay away from it but they are making a mistake. Seeing the price low doesn't mean that it should not be bought but more like it is going to end up with something that is going to change things. That way you could buy at the low dip price and you are going to end up profiting.
The price wasn't convincing enough for them and certainly, they won't see an opportunity to double their money when the new ATH comes. Because what they need is assurance and they only just buy when the bull season comes. It is somewhat very unfortunate but that really happens and that is what we expect from those who are impatient and not long-term investors. So, it was not surprising that many had come to rejection. But those who understand the situation and see the dip as an opportunity will consider buying as the best thing to do.
694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would You Advise People To Stake? on: July 26, 2023, 12:53:21 PM
I honestly don't recommend this kind of making money from crypto because I had joined once a bounty where they offered staking and when lots of people bought their coins, they run away and sold a massive amount of coins also their social media are not active anymore, so it was clearly a pump and dump coin. There are lots of such coins offering staking and most of them offer high returns of percentage but you cannot distinguish the legit from scam because both are pretty active in their social media updates at first.
Yes, we could assume that those who decide to stake are aware of the situation they are taking.
It was tempting to see some exchange offers huge taking percentages and it really encourage investors to put their money at risk. Unfortunately, greedy people will closely fall into temptation and soon regret it. But that was good for them at least their experience will help them realize that staking is not good for all coins because many are false offers and a kind of scam trick.
695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: July 26, 2023, 05:50:59 AM

Arum already might set this up next year as if I'm not mistaken Ramirez is with Top Rank. He will be the next Manny or at least get to 5-6 belt weight class. 130 lbs might be too much for him though, as the like of let's say Oscar Valdez and Navarette might be too big for Inoue. But let's see, he is in his prime so he might think that he is really invincible and climb that ladder very quick like Pacquiao.

I believe there will be more belts that Inoue will accumulate, but it should be a gradual process until he reaches his peak. As a champion like Inoue, he loves to push his limits, so we can expect that there will be more fights coming for him. With what he is showing, I believe there's a possibility that Inoue could break what Pacman has achieved – becoming an 8th division world champion.

I agree with you; there's no boxer yet who has given Inoue a problem. Even Fulton, the defending champion that night, wasn't able to give Inoue a scare. Well, what can you say? He isn't a power puncher, so he relies on his speed. Unfortunately for him, Inoue is way quicker and faster, so he can't really win.
696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title on: July 26, 2023, 05:09:57 AM
I was thinking of making a thread of this particular fight, but you made it first. Hehe.

Anyway, this fight is going to be great for sure. Tapales is quite bigger than Inoue, but we all know the power of Inoue. Personally, I do believe that Inoue would still win the fight as he is very dominant. I think no one can stop him in the current division he is at. His win against Fulton is a big statement that he could dominate the division again, so I will already book this; it will be another Inoue's KO win.

It says it's going to happen this year, so we don't need to wait any longer.
697  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading tips that helpfull for beginners on: July 25, 2023, 09:49:17 PM
These tips are only helpful if you can use them the right way, but you need to study first and educate yourself on these tips before going into live trading. However, experience is still the best tip to win your trades. It’s only useless learning all these OP’s tips without putting them in action. That’s why regardless of your first and consistent losses as a beginner, you need to experience trading most often as that’s the only way to be more skillful in this kind of craft.
Experience would teach us everything and will help us to find new strategies that can be more effective than those tips that we have read in books or in YouTube. But of course, we can't expect that learning can be done just in a few days but that might it take weeks or months. That is why I suggest that beginners just start trading with a small amount because our intention in these early days is not to EARN but to LEARN. And to the moment that we are consistent of our doings, that's the time to increase limits or capital.
698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: July 25, 2023, 09:43:16 AM
Good thing there's still a betting odds available for the fight. I have already placed my bet, and I've risked my money on Inoue winning by KO. This is a 12-round fight, and if Inoue is really eager to continue his legacy, I think winning this fight convincingly would be the right thing to do.

I was in a hurry as I was expecting the fight to have already started, so for those who have not placed their bets yet, there's still a chance to do so, just make it fast. Smiley

By the way, I found a streaming site that is not on Facebook, but sorry, I would not share it here as I'm afraid it will be taken down.

699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 25, 2023, 08:57:26 AM
...Again, hard to compare him with WB as far as triple double, but there are games that we could see some brilliance or high basketball IQ of Ball. But I doubt that he will catch WB in the record boards.

Following Westbrook's record will surely be a struggle to anyone specially if they are chasing after his triple double record as that same record looks to be unbreakable and by the way, Westbrook is still active in the sport and so he still have some chances to improve his standing and add a few couple on his stats even if it looks like that he cannot be that same triple double machine anymore. But I still believe that Westbrook can still make a difference, he just have to trust himself because his confidence was seriously hurt during his Laker days.

And also he's healthy and capable to play more games since he's not a injury prone player so provably he can retain and add up more on his stats so that this will be hard to break by other player. He might not be the same as before but for sure he still capable to do triple double especially if the coach will trust him and he will have the same role when he is on OKC. He just need his confidence back and with this he will be a triple double machine again.

I don't think he will ever achieve that triple-double consistency now that he is not the main star of the team. Westbrook was the main star in OKC, but now he is with the Clippers, where many stars are playing, so he plays based on the role given to him. For Westbrook, what matters now is winning a championship, as he has already achieved his goal as an individual player. But the biggest goal is to win a championship.
700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This time for meme coin? on: July 23, 2023, 01:06:37 PM
You probably know that almost all new meme projects are coming out now. Do you think it is really risky? what effect do you think this could have for the bull market!

Of course it is very risky, Coin memes are very easily controlled by a community and its price movements can easily be affected by the amount of talk people have about social media. However, even though it is risky, some traders actually try their luck by buying at relatively low prices and reselling it when there is Fomo or certain sentiments.
Behind all of this, of course, there are advantages and disadvantages, because some like it and some even avoid not investing in it at all
Generally, that will depend on your call and market discretion. Those who love it and have the courage to invest these meme coins don't have any worries at all but for those who see this as nothing like a shitcoins, they surely don't spend any amount on it.

I consider this as a risky investment but I don't stop people from buying them because that was their decision. And whether they are aware of the risk or not, that is for them now. Some people are earning a profit from them and some also are not, that was the reality.
