Report the others. What does it have to do with bitcoin? If you're not transacting with bitcoin in some way then it doesn't belong in the Marketplace. Those sorts of threads should just be trashed in my opinion because they're just pure spamfests propagated by bounty hunters.

I remember reporting each topic one by one some months ago, it still here.
6862  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance is facing regulatory pressure on: March 24, 2018, 03:41:59 PM
Binance is supposed to move to the Malta Republic. The prime minister posted on Twitter the company is very welcome. It didn't surprise me because Malta wants to become a pioneer in Europe for the blockchain and fintech industry. It will be the 3rd country for Binance, hope to them it will be the last
6863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CHILD PORNOGRAPHY IN BITCOIN on: March 24, 2018, 03:13:03 PM
Bitcoin could become illegal in all countries that bans child pornography after discovering this: https://www.sciencealert.com/bitcoin-illegal-almost-everywhere-after-shocking-blockchain-discovery-child-pornography

What can you say about it?

By following this logic so they shall also ban the dollar, euro, pound sterling and so on... But wait, even if it happens then what? They will use another means of payment simple as that. So to continue their trip with acid, silver, gold, copper, the diamond should be banned too.

But wait, when money didn't exist people were trading (I give you tomatoes in exchange of sugar, then the sugar is exchanged for a fish and so on) Going deep into this, everything should be banned. I hope in the future we will still be allowed to breathe
6864  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia accounts being cracked on: March 24, 2018, 02:57:24 PM
Hey @OmegaStarScream

I am glad to see I am not the only one. I got the same, maybe a week ago (just 1 attempt) Nothing to worry in my case. Are you using the same address on this exchange with your bitcointalk account (before the forum get compromised)? I believe some people with the database are simply trying to with the most popular exchanges in case someone used the same password

6866  Local / Débutants / Re: Acheter avec du Bitcoin sur les e-commerce on: March 24, 2018, 12:12:08 AM
Bonjour,

@Kprawn

What was the pain while updating the firmware? Just asking because I have one and have not done anything yet.
While reading your post I was thinking th same but after changed my mind because after all, one of the tagline used with cryptocurrencies is :

Be Your Own Bank. So with the motivation should also come the motivation to do the banker job. Manage infrastructures, accounting, etc  Grin
6868  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Anyone using Medium here? on: March 22, 2018, 07:53:23 PM
@Lovecove
Thank you for this clear and detailed explanation. I was going to say that the site is more useful for writing than for something else so. In this case I own several blogs so no use to go there. But finally, I think it's a good source for networking (?) I'll try to get into it next month.

A thing or 2 I didn't know:
We must be approved and Medium pays writers for exclusive content in the paid subscription section...

@Slowhand26

Medium is containing Crypto related articles especially ICOs. We have seen many banned and suspended account due to ICOs related articles
That seems like a contradiction in terms. You say Medium has crypto related articles and then you say many accounts get suspended due to ICOs articles.

And to tell you something, there are influencers, crypto projects, startups etc paying a service to get their articles posted on my Twitter account. Often it's a link from Medium and they don't have any problem it seems.

I checked one account "Smoke06" and this guy is only translating to French. This post is funny

6870  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: New Crypto-Friendly Bank Accounts (From Wirex). on: March 22, 2018, 06:14:14 PM
For businesses solution it's currently on an invitation-only basis, you need to contact Wirex to ask for an invitation.
I don't know about the Businesses account but for the personal account it will start very soon (I think in the next following days or weeks)
6871  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Number26 (n26.com) discussion on: March 22, 2018, 06:03:34 PM
@alani123

You can open a bank account remotely with all banks today (neo banks and classic bank as well) We're in 2018 and banking online in a minimum in today's standards.

@Snorek
Have you heard about banking fees? People using neo banks like N26 do it usually to reduce the costs. It's a trend to see people looking to reduce these costs.
6872  Other / Meta / Re: Question regarding bot for the admin. on: March 22, 2018, 05:37:39 PM
@atchoum

Because there is no moderator in the French forum. The admin does ban accounts upon request ...from a moderator (it surely how it works here)...
But if there is no moderator, the administration can't guess what's going on...

Deal with it, artificial intelligence is the future, so start to be used to live with. Consider it the first step  Cheesy

My question is: is it possible to have a Global Mod spending just 15-20 minutes of his free time to help to clean a little.
Even without speaking French, there are some actions that can be done quickly, and a french user could send to him the action that needs to be moderated (giving the URL, reason, and a translated text)
I would be happy to do it if a Global Mod is kind enough to help
6873  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: APRIL 1, 2016 scam. on: March 22, 2018, 12:37:38 AM
HYIPs are scam no matter if it uses Bitcoin or any payment processor. HYIP is a platform connecting scammers and victims.
By investing in an HYIP you participate in the crime helping to scam innocent people. If you didn't even know what is bitcoin how that comes you bought 1 BTC and invest in another thing you didn't know "HYIP"

Well don't worry, you weren't the first and not the last. But on the www, when it's too good to be true then it'sn not true
6874  Other / Meta / Re: are you planning to change the moderator of the Frensch section? on: March 21, 2018, 11:51:49 PM
Hey, I locked it because of no help other than "Report..." and nothing to add to the discussion from both sides.  But It's ok, it's not our house so if we aren't happy, then we leave.

@Welsh
We aren't 100k users so you won't see 100k people asking for it, but 99% of users were asking for this (during months), in fact, I have never seen a member saying NO. Then you know, people ask once, twice but then stop to ask...
Members do report but I understand them to they just stop to report if it doesn't do anything.

But currently, sadly most people left the French section, so it's like too late now. So no need another moderator, but better to close (or lock) the section to be honest.

I visited the forum today and the first topic I opened was to find a bot reply using translated text. Cheesy

ça c'est  hors sujet !! ben tu doit attendre moins de 24H et tout sera bien

T'es bien gentil mais je t'explique.

Tu arrives trop tard ! 4 mois apres il a pas besoin de ta reponse. Il en a rien a foutre.

6876  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 2018 List Bitcoin Mixers Bitcoin Tumblers Websites on: March 21, 2018, 07:04:26 PM
Thanks guys for the contribution (y)

So, I updated the list and added 3 services BestMixer, CryptoMixer, BitMixcoin and added a link redirecting to a tool from bestmixer.io
('Сoin Anonymisation Event'-cheсk) https://bestmixer.io/en/cae-check People may find it useful.

Good idea, worth to unite all of them together..
Basically, I needed to make a list for myself so why not then post it here if it can help people (by saving their time or introducing them to such service)

Nice list, but do you consider add website/wallet which use CoinJoin feature which offer different kind of privacy/anonymity such as BobWallet?

Nice idea, I will spend sometime later this week about this. I visited the Bob Wallet and I like it, I will follow it

Which of them are honeypots and which of them are safe? Its really hard to trust any of them especially after reading Snowden's comments.

The NSA worked to “track down” bitcoin users, snowden documents reveal

After the weird final statement of Bitmixer's founder, it maybe one of the last real mixing service thats not a honeypot.

....Or one of the first mixing service and honeypot that closed after getting enough information for the moment  Tongue
I trust Chipmixer for this, and I am not saying it because I wear the signature but because I am using the service long before. The system used by Chipmixer is by far more advanced and different than other (some are "vulnerable"), trust me.
6877  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL] ChipMixer Signature Campaign | 0.00075 BTC/post on: March 21, 2018, 03:29:42 AM

The "no minimum post" is one of the most interesting things
I think forcing members to make xx posts weekly is counter-productive for the achievement of the intended purpose.

For example, sometimes I come to the forum but I have nothing to say and I just read people. I am not going to post "great project sir" here and there just for the sake to have something posted
6878  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: (WIP) Community Compiled List of Sites Browser Mining on: March 21, 2018, 12:57:25 AM
Can you show me a website currently using this method
In your post you referer about a site for a news article for Bitcoin, you are talking about a small to medium blog, right?

And secondly, aren't the antivirus blocking or flagging these websites?

I have updated OP with Spazzer's list they have begun to compile. The most notable site being thepiratebay. I cannot remember the name of the news site, but it was one of the first when I was searching about Lightning or Segwit (Can't remember which, was researching both that night). It was so bad, that I could not read the article on their site; I had to Copy+Paste the article into a word document and close the web-page, because my computer was lagging/fans were speeding up.

Most people I know do not run antivirus software, but yes I believe some companies are flagging some sites.

So  I suppose you noticed it on a crypto-news website and at least a medium to large. it's a shame to try to earn pennies with your traffic like this way. Even using adfly would be better. Wonder how much they're making with this...

I don't perfectly know how this method works but I believe instead to use a list by putting the domain name in your host file would be more radical or installing NoJS
6879  Local / Hors-sujet / Re: -- RÉ-ORGANISATION DU FORUM FRANCAIS -- on: March 20, 2018, 09:20:16 PM
baba

Du coup t'as fais un post, même si t'as rien à dire.

6880  Other / Meta / Thank you to the administration/moderators for not doing anything on: March 19, 2018, 11:17:55 PM
One month later, nothing has changed, the same mess. Traductions with google translate, necroposting, posting multiple times the same messages, I think there are more bots than real users there.

Thank you to the administration/moderators for not doing anything.Report, report, report, it's all that you tell us

 I think now it's time to lock this topic since it is useless to try to get something.
The French section is dead like a graveyard now
