well, sorry to say that, but i was messaging and calling since 7pm israeli time (for the last 53 min) both support 1 and support2 and so far-no response.
Checking. In the meantime email remo@ and he'll get back to you tomorrow.

when is a good time to try skyping support? I don't have good luck so far.

Guy,

Is there any news on PickAxe? I really like the SP20 and SP31 and am very interested in acquiring more efficient mining gear soon.

I suppose more efficient gear probably won't be out until Spring 2015.
Patient my friend.

The SP20 has the S5 beat and most will tell you the same. Customer Service is a huge part of these as well and again you will be pleased with the professionalism of the SP team even if you do have issues, but I doubt you will. They investigate issues, put a policy in place, and have a much more effective firmware response to not only issues but improvements. Night and Day.

Thank you.

Is anyone using this spreadsheet I put up so everyone is on the same page? If not, I'll just remove it. Having to look through multiple threads to find out firmware issues is quite timely.

Hi Guy
So i want to buy Genesis-mining , but you have to sign up a contract before you see Information.
What is that?
How can you recommend such a Company?

We will be updating our website with all the information in the next few days.

which one of those SLOTS labeled as 1,2,3,4 are the slots that power the back chips ?
Thank you !

Slots 1 and 3 powers the two back ASICs on each board

Guy is very positive person Smiley But his pronunciation isn't so positive Cheesy
Is there a transcription of this panel of conference? It's interesting to read sharks of business.

Remember when Guy vouched for NexusMining and Skye posted:

Why does their Reset Password page say "Genesis Mining"?

Now Spondoolies are officially partnering with Genesis Mining to provide cloud mining. I find that pretty interesting.
When I vouched for Nexus Mining I clearly said It's because I know it's a white label of Genesis Mining and I'm familiar with Genesis Mining. I was drag into Nexus Mining thread.
Our cloud mining offering is also based on Genesis Mining backend. I explained the details in our thread.

Guy

Actually, you made no mention of Genesis Mining. You said:

- Nexus Mining is legit, they're currently white labeling a respectable cloud mining provider.

I'm not saying you're lying or anything, I just think it's interesting.
You're correct. I didn't recall the exact phrasing I've used.

Edit: It was pretty obvious to anyone reading the thread that Nexus Mining is a white label of Genesis Mining.
I was dragged into that thread and I didn't want to be involved more than the absolute minimum necessary.
We have excellent working relations with Genesis Mining. We had some discussion with Nexus Mining people as well on other stuff.

For me, one of the major things (apart from the fees) is the pool, unless I can choose the pool, or at the very least Genesis discloses the pool(s) they are currently mining on its a no deal.
It's a feature request we've asked GM to implement down the road.
732  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: January 23, 2015, 09:10:16 AM
It's 100% backed by real hardware.

Although your word is nice, a publicly disclosed mining address would be better.
Why do you assume it's one mining address?
I've seen different implementation in the industry.

Does it really matter?

If they have X PH/s, why can't they point X PH/s to an address (or addresses) to prove they aren't running a fractional reserve?
Sure, they can do that but then they won't fulfill their contracts...
We're working on different mechanism to show cryptographic proof of hash rate without service interruption in our next gen. More details soon.

Spondoolies just announced its cloud mining service:

I've missed Bitcointalk Smiley

Zvisha implemented the scheduler, please give it a try: http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/blogs/technical-blog

Also, we're doing soft launch of our cloud mining offerings. It's partnership with Genesis Mining.
We're brining small amount of hash power online in our Israeli DC. Upon selling of contracts, we'll ship mining gear to cover the contracts to Genesis Mining DC in Iceland.

Guy

Also, Mine That Cloud is now redirecting to Cloud Mining Website. That one didn't last long.

Ah so Spondoolies have linked up with Genesis Mining, that's interesting...surely that must be more evidence that they are not a Ponzi risk, surely.. Spondoolies is quite a large Asic manufacturer.
Genesis Miming is 100% backed by hardware.
We have very good business relations with them and I consider the owners and the CTO friends.
You'll notice that they're out of stock on the Alt sales, because they ran out of hardware.

again thanks for your updates on this forum we all appreciate it (esp genesis mining ...er never heard of it before your post) trust your opinion will also take that into consideration

Genesis Mining started with Alts and GPUs in the beginning of 2014.
They quickly grew their business. It's 100% backed by real hardware.
They had quite a lot of coverage in the media.

You can see a picture of Marco Streng the CEO in their Icelandic DC here: http://asicscrypt.com/marco-streng-ceo-genesis-mining-talks-project-x-cloud-mining/

so are you like the rest of the industry...getting completely out of the 'consumer' end of the mining equip side (ie no token type sp20 units anymore or equiv in the future
for those dense of us who would like to at least 'try' to home mine in the future..yeah yeah...I know still dream about 500 usd btc where this may be possible) or has
that dream left the barn .....like all the other asic manufacturer's seem to have stated as well?

We still expect most of our revenues to come from hardware sales. We got a lot of requests for cloud mining offerings, and we believe we're doing it the right way by partnering with Genesis Mining.

Yes Marco is good people they do have a lot of experience and mining power already on the network. They are very professional unlike other offering in the "cloud".
Genesis Mining is the most trustable cloud mining provider and I'm proud about this partnership. I know Genesis Mining management personally and I consider them friends.

Did someone tune up the spondoolies hosted miners?

http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/userstats.php/1Adam3usQMbQWScA5AXnnDsRMeZeCh6ovu

my 4x sp10 hashrate jumped from ~6TH to ~ 7.5TH?  (Which'd be a very nice hashrate at 1.85 TH/sp10 vs 1.4-1.5TH advertised).

Maybe someone accidentally configured another one for my payout address during a reshuffle or config change?

Adam

We disconnected the SP10s and replaced with fixed RMA SP3x
More efficient.
740  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: January 17, 2015, 01:53:23 PM
could it be possible to gather the firmware suggestions in a list and edit that list and extend?

hope I did not miss some:

- true fan speed control by target temp
- scheduling certains mining speeds(voltages)
- individual voltage limits as right now for the back chips
- Timezone "bug"? first page graphs are always UTC?
- enable API in own subnet/net by web interface
- include fan speed in API datasets
- change host name in web interface
- other pool options than failover only
- Graphs on the first webguy page, there should be a button to disable some/all of them.
- Poll page could be managed on the front page with up&down buttons on each pool
- GUI switches to turn off SSH would also be a good thing, plus for advanced users some sort of iptables in the OS for security.
- show ASIC Stats
Please Create editable Google Sheet. Keep a field with remarks / comments for Zvisha to reply.
