721  Economy / Services / Re: ⭐️ PROFESSIONAL & AFFORDABLE Ethereum TOKEN CREATION ⭐️ LEGENDARY VOUCHED! 🔥🔥🔥 on: April 01, 2018, 01:17:58 PM
Up for today  Smiley

Heres something for you guys:

How many miners does it take to change a lightbulb?
- A million; One to do it and 999,999 to verify that he did.
722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Atiflash with more than 10 GPU ? on: April 01, 2018, 12:27:31 PM
I was previously in the same boat as you and similarly wasn't able find any documentation on how to do this with more than 9 GPUs as well. Save yourself all the trouble and simply just do it on another PC with less GPUs. You could borrow a PC if you don't have an extra one lying around. Much easier than flashing the wrong GPU, then have to deal with all the trouble of not being able to boot and all that.
723  Economy / Economics / Re: BITCOIN IS NOT BUBBLE!! on: April 01, 2018, 02:17:13 AM
the Internet World is full of people who are called economists who say bitcoin is a "bubble."

I hear you. Its quite annoying to know that most of these online "economists" are just kids who don't even have a clue about what bitcoin is or what it is trying to do. They think bitcoin is trying to become a stock or asset. They are missing the big picture by a long shot. Bumping up this thread for you.
724  Economy / Economics / Re: Why are you saying wait? on: March 31, 2018, 02:08:38 PM
Wait is probably what the whales tell normal people to do. I'd bet some people even hire paid shills to tell people to just "hodl" here in these forums. The reality is that while holding could potentially be a good long term strategy, you could be making much more while trading on your way down. Just sell the pumps and buy the dips.
725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU mining will die in 2018! on: March 31, 2018, 09:52:13 AM
if you can max out a 10KwH generator on petrol;  you can definitely be profitable.     Food for thought.

Yeah it seems like only the extremely dedicated and professionally capable miners will remain. Even when mining some secret coins, it will be difficult to turn a good profit unless you have those generators or solar arrays. I guess its over for every other kid out there who owns a GPU and is mining against dedicated mining corporations.
726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Error Code 43 Video Card XFX Radeon 580 4GB on: March 31, 2018, 04:43:55 AM
Thats a lot of screenshots. I only checked the first but i some possible reasons for your error would be:

1. you have a bad riser - try swapping risers and cables to see if it works.
2. your GPU has a bad bios mod - if you have the same GPU try copying the bios mod from the those that work
727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: re: Standard CPU and GPU Temperature (°C) on: March 31, 2018, 02:40:14 AM
for the gpu anything under 65 C is okay for 24 hours a day as far as processor temps i like to keep my processor under 50 C. Minergate is trash Yes you're new and Yes i started there too but go to ethermine.org, Slushpool, or somewhere else.

Exactly what this guy said. Actually you can even push it up to 70. But in general, the principle is that the lower the temps, the better for your GPU.

The next question you might ask is 90-100% fanspeed ok? Yes. Thats better than running your GPUs at high temps. All this information and more is available on google btw.
728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I shut it down tonight boys. on: March 30, 2018, 11:53:42 PM
Have you tried selling your GPUs? Whats the market like, did anyone even seem interested in your GPUs?

Too bad you had to shutdown. You ca't rely on whattomine.com to give you a list of profitable coins. Some people are still One simple tip is for you to check out other calculators out there.
729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is it wise to mine Musicoin ? on: March 30, 2018, 03:55:33 PM
Now I am venturing more and more into mining as my colleagues have put their mining computers in our company and I am the IT and watch over them. By looking at their behavior mining Ethereum is still somewhat a bit profitable but not worth all the investment they have done, ROI is quite far away for the moment.

I started reading about low value coins and Musicoin came up to almost every google search that I did, I checked their calculator and you can make a really big amount of Musicoin just in one day with one mining computer with six graphic cards. I also read the walletinvestor website where predictions is that after a few years this coin can give yearly profit of +387%. This was tempting and I told them to switch to mine directly Musicoin but they refused.

What do you say, it is wise to switch or I am wrong ?

It has potential, but as everything in crypto there is no guarante. And just a friendly advice, ignore prediction sites like "walletinvestor". They are useles. Check predictions for this year, do you think they will come true? Smiley
Now as for mining, it it depends what hardware do you have. If its AMD then go for it, because ethash is the best algo out there for AMD. Or at least the best without a really deep investigation and a lot of time sniffing out weird coins and algos.

I would say just mine Ethereum a while back, but today...try Pirl or Musicoin, why not. I am for instance mining some neoscrypt coin now and have a masterplan lol. If I make it, is a different story.

Now if you have Nvidia its a different song. Ravencoin is popular right now. Equihash is also good on Nvidia and some other algos also. Just do some research. Won't talk about Nvidia to much, because I only have AMD.

And P.S, now are not the best time for mining, so hang on in there. I hope to get better till the end of the year.

Good explanation. But a simpler one would be NO, mining musiccoin is definitely not a wise decision. First of all, its not even a good coin if you are a regular day-to-day miner paying for electricity with cash outs. Just mine the most profitable coin and buy musiccion with it. Secondly, the actual product might have a hard time competing with the simplicity of spotify. Its a risky investment to say the least.
730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for a rig frame on: March 30, 2018, 07:44:18 AM
Check out Spotswood's frames if you want to purchase something that is ready to assemble.

http://spotswoodcomputercases.com/wp/

Or if you don't mind paying a premium for what I believe is the nicest frame on the market, check out this seller on eBay.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/6-7-GPU-Ethereum-Zcash-ZEC-aluminum-open-air-mining-case-Crypto-Monster/222380897541?hash=item33c6ef3505:g:hJ0AAOSwH2VZ9JFf

+1 for spotswood. The qualit of craftsmanship is beyond anything you will ever get to build as an amateur. It will probably also save you all the headache associated with missing or non-match parts when you order some cheap quality racks.

But in any case, isn't it too late to be buying racks?
731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Red Devil RX 570 4GB (Samsung) Low hashrate Help Required on: March 29, 2018, 10:49:12 PM
That is way too much overclock and you will ruin your cards that way. My RX 470/570s run 28MH well at 1050/2010. Been mining ETH stable since last year.

Also just mod your BIOS first. There are a lot of guides available online and you don't need to download one from other people. Google is your friend.
732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: First Octominer Build on: March 29, 2018, 10:38:48 PM
The salty comments on you imgur album are the best part of this. "Eat a bag of dicks!"

Anyway, good job with your build. Was just wondering what your favorite part of this build is? I can't imagine how it would be better than regular mobos and open air cases that don't need noisy noctua fans.

Please allow me to answer to your question.
A "dedicated" motherboard si much better than a regular one because:
- with not risers there are less points of failures
- troubleshooting is much more easier when a GPU is not working under parameters.
- if you have more RIGs is easier to do the preventive maintenance

Thanks for clarifying this. Considering what you metioned i am halfway sold on the whole dedicated motherboard thing. However, another pickle is efficiency. Can you imagine how much more efficient it would be to run a 13-GPU mobo rig? Are there plans of making at least maybe a 12-slot "dodecagon" miner rig?

734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Supporting Obscure Blockchains with Small Miners on: March 29, 2018, 02:39:36 AM
I can confirm that this method could be profitable given the right circumstances. You have to pick the right coins and sell at the right time. Some people at our local mining scene have been doing this and sharing his results with us. He paid for his 1080ti rig in a month using this technique.
735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Tool] AMD-Compute-Switcher for switch automatically to compute mode on: March 29, 2018, 01:37:31 AM
Thank you very much this is incredibly useful especially for people like me whose radeon settings takes so long to load.

Source code from 1.0.0:

I'm particularly glad you posted the actual source code. Would it be possible for you to give us instructions on how to compile this ourselves?
736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can regular people mine anymore on: March 28, 2018, 11:59:31 AM
Regular people can mine. To make a good profit you will need to spend a lot of time tweaking and doing research tho.

First thing i would suggest you to do is use google. This question has been asked a thousand times already. There is an overabundance of online guides and tutorials that will teach you everything about mining. Start learning if you want to start earning.
737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Old hardware or what? on: March 27, 2018, 02:50:45 PM
I have a number of gtx1060 and rxs 470 480 , does my hardware got old or what notice that the profitability decreased to half and still high difficulty is there a new hardware released or just miners are holding , does anyone know WTF is going on , the lowest profitability and the highest difficulty at same time Huh Huh

On the contrary, your rx 470 and 480s are actually one of the most efficient mining GPUs out in the market right now. In terms of power consumption vs. hash rate these GPUs are king. I'd trade in some of my new VEGAs for more rx 470s or 480s if someone could guarantee that they are still in good condition.
738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU mining will die in 2018! on: March 27, 2018, 09:26:00 AM
seems right now even "mining" cards are 95% stock video cards, just with no display connectors. everything else is the same except maybe the bios.

i wonder how far a REAL mining card could be stripped down if it didnt need to conform to the pcie spec physically and electrically.  only needs a 1x pcie connector, a few pcie power connectors, a GPU, memory and few glue chips and thats it. so it could be much less expensive, fit into smaller (non standard mining only) cases, reach higher rates (tweaked memory and timings and controllers, say 512 bits wide or something [if that can be done i gather memory bus is baked into the gpu, but maybe bank switching or something can be done]). twice the compute power in half the space. would be sweet.

just need someone to step up and order bare gpu dies and go to town.

This seems like a great idea but someone has probably done it before. The difference is that they also probably kept it to themselves. You can imagine how profitable it would be to run those GPUs for themselves while everyone else is stuck with consumer priced GPUs. If they are savvy enough to build their own GPUs they will be savvy enough to build their own mining farms. People have probably done this before and may already be mining and profiting from it. ETH difficulty never ends.
739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Slack still a legitimate choice for new projects? on: March 27, 2018, 08:17:19 AM
There are so many Phising attacks on Slack. Here I was victimized stealing my altcoins with my Myetherwallet. So it is no longer advisable to use. Today's leading platform for communication is Telegram, This is my advice to you

Not sure why this is being discussed in the "altcoin discussion" forum (and it probably should be moved) but I completely agree that TELEGRAM is a much better tool. The simplicity of its overall user interface is a really big come on to both tech savvy or non-techy users.
740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH GPUs miners beware! on: March 27, 2018, 07:46:33 AM
Forking is not a solution either, they can spin another version of the silicone, its cat, mouse game and in the end the crypto currency may loose value because of the constant forking....so its not that easy to say lets make forks every 3 months, this will put a total mess.

But they only need to play cat and mouse until they complete POS. If you look at the ETH dev calls they're actually already testing POS and it is slowly becoming a possibility. I have utmost confidence in the ETH dev team and although i would hate for it to go POS and loose value in my mining investment, i believe its necessary for ETH to further grow.
