Create a bank account with MisterTango sell your bitcoins and transfer the funds to your new bank account. Then just make a SEPA transfer from Mistertango to your UK bank account. The bank will just see that you received a transfer from another account in your name (you get a dedicated IBAN)

BTC is NSA project to track drugs n terrorists.
It's why it can't scale and isn't anonymous.
Public ledger tracking every coins movement, perfect big brother control.
Plus Satoshi Nakamoto inside NSA joke, it means the center of intelligence a poke at CIA.
It did it's job, it's been tracking drug money and terrorists.
Koblitz curve theory it's crypto, Koblitz 50+ years NSA
A recent research by a serious organism showed that only from 3% to 5% of the total transactions are used for illegal activities. This low percentage is surely filled by people on the deepweb mainly. Compared to fiats, it's nothing. So if they created Bitcoin for this purpose then they totally failed

You can just use the pair ETH/BTC instead to convert ETH to USD then USD to BTC The USD/BTC pair is just at the top Ans for your invalid details you're not the only one, seems there is a "bug" from time to time, try to contact them here on their topic or their website

Living in the USA is just horrible for several points. In Germany, you need something like 15000€ per year to live like the average citizen (house, food, insurance, etc) The average cost to live in Australia is so high.. Between this 3 countries, Germany is by far the cheaper.
Once in Germany open a bank account and use Kraken to sell your cryptos and receive the money in your bank account. But be sure with what you do before, otherwise you may end working at McDonald.

If your transactions are usually about 1000£ and suddenly you receive 1,000,000£ Alarms will blink and sound like an ambulance in their system. Nowadays it's monitored automatically. Your bank manager will need to cover his ass (and the bank as well) and may just ask you some questions in the best case, or froze the account at worst. If you're running a business with this bank account be careful as it is something vital to run a company.
Now stopping to make you worried lol... The best advice I can tell you is to call your bank and to tell that in the next following days you will receive a transfer with an unusual amount etc. As you tell them before, even if the alarm starts ringing, they will know it's normal as you told them some days ago. It's what the majority is doing, and it works fine as long you're transparent. The bank is happy as they can justify if needed and it's exactly what they want. At least your manager will give you a clear answer, if not agree then consider you just anticipate a problem.

So again another altcoin? Everyone wants to make their own cryptocurrency without adding something special or new. ....oppressive governments...decentralized... always the same arguments. I don't know if the Blockchain could be used with communications but they should focus on this instead, it's their native business, not cryptocurrency Good luck to them still

You should contact Alex Jones you could be friend both. I am sure he will find your theory plausible. For me, it's a declassified military doc. look how is the shooting screen (don't know how it's called in English) it look like from an old generation. These days they are build with a more sophisticated screen and data
As for a theory to impact the economy=> LOL

I respect other people's view and opinion about a certain subject, but when it comes to the point that they're involving black propaganda and shoving their ideals on my throat, that is where it gets nasty for me. Though Roger Ver seems to be a likeable guy, the way he pushes his BCH together with his followers are really annoying and over the top already. I am using bitcoin and only using BCH for profit gains, nothing more. This makes me think that it would have been better for Satoshi Nakamoto to patent the brand "Bitcoin".
Which defeats the purpose of bitcoin being an open-source code, then. The funny thing when in public, like street etc he looooves bragging to say he is the bitcoin god "bitcoin is fantastic! bitcoin is the future !" Bitcoin is the real Bitcoin for me, all others are just altcoins, technically it's not possible to make the altcoin bitcoin... bitcoin will stay bitcoin It could be compared with Debian, Ubuntu, Lubuntu, Deepin and so on.... Today Debian is still Debian

Salut

There is something more radical coming soon. In the next meeting, the G20 will debate about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Most of the dedate will be about what to do with cryptos, how to regulate, how to get free money collecting a tax. The majority doesn't consider Bitcoin as a (crypto) currency but as a speculative asset
To make it worst, govts are not able to give a simple answer for the taxes. I don't want to give up to 60% of my profits. I am on the point to think about to move in another country more taxes friendly

Thank you @stompix I don't see how it can be used massively when a bitcoiner could just use an exchange so

I think we need to consider another point of view. 30 days ago Bitcoin's value was $10,000 and today is $14,000.
A difference of 40% in just a month. So what? It's still an amazing growth. What about in January when it was at $1,0000 people were saying Bitcoin is expensive or Bitcoin is dead, now today $140000.
There is no reason to "complaint" when you see it as a long term.

Oh sorry, I didn't know it is 2% for GBP as I use Eur.

Is there someone here who used it at least once? I am looking to know if there is any procedure related to KYC/AML while selling with Bitcoin ATM (and buying while I am at it) I have not found anything about this except this post which is about 4 years old hereI find strange if there isn't any. All exchanges, etc involved with bank transactions need to abide by the rules (KYC/AML). So if someone needs to avoid a verification or a bank trace he can just use a Bitcoin ATM and to be fine. Why bother people with KYC/AML if it can't be applied everywhere.

There are only 3-4 places for GBP withdrawals. With Coinsbank and Coinfloor there is also Bitwala https://www.bitwala.com/transfers/ You will receive the transfer up to 3 business days (They usually send it the same day) with a 0.5% fee. There is a verification needed and the company is efficient with their service

It's more a crash than a correction, but like the general opinion, I don't think it's something to be much worried about. We saw the same situation back in 2013 or 2014 (i don't remember well). And a good indicator is that not only bitcoin is crashing, altcoins do as well. I just hope it won't fail under $10,000.
I find it weird that it happens exactly after the introduction in the CME, I was excepting the opposite

Nobody can help you here, you should contact them on their website and read their FAQ to see if you find something relevant to your problem (id verification, etc) A bank transfer can take several days to be credited on a bank account
