742  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Gate.io scam? Seeking advice on: April 24, 2021, 08:29:24 PM
What I understand is that they are doing this so that people can not request any withdrawal but this is very unethical business conduct. At this point I am in doubt if this is a scam attempt or buying time.
Then they should disable the deposits of that particular altcoin instead like what other exchanges do, they even announced such update. I really think that this is one of their way to take their users funds and telling that its your fault to send amount when blabla.
743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you trust centralized exchanges? on: April 24, 2021, 07:08:06 PM
Anyone that is trading cryptocurrency should always make sure that they have a private wallet they are storing their main funds, and the money they want to trade with can then be moved to their exchange wallet so that if the exchange happens to do anything or gets hacked you wouldn’t have to regret that much.As for what this exchange has done, I can’t tell you whether it’s what you think or not since I have not used the exchange before, and I don’t know about them.
When you trade you need to trust the exchange and accept all the risks. These people are called traders, some day traders and etc. There's no need to transfer your funds right after trading in one time or two, if that's the case then better to hodl and trade/sell after a huge profit.

About that exchange, with those amount, I guess its one of the most used and one of the large local exchanges in turkey.
744  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Gate.io scam? Seeking advice on: April 24, 2021, 06:45:21 PM
Gate.io had set the minimum withdrawal to 8.1 RBTC with a fee of 8 RBTC. Now 1 RBTC = 1 BTC!
Are they serious about this? Are they already struggling to demand this fee.

Can't say that you were scammed yet, but you can keep them updated about your issue since they're the only one who can resolve your issue.
745  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] [banned mixer] on: April 24, 2021, 06:19:47 PM
Have you tried to message them on their website or here in this forum [banned mixer]

I see lots of complain on their ann thread in the past few days yet there's no response of the OP since his last active on the 22th. I can only suggest to wait til he replies on their ann thread.
746  Local / Pamilihan / Re: More P2P Payment options Sa BINANCE! on: April 24, 2021, 03:15:27 PM
pero mukang yung mga bangko na ang lumalapit sa cryptomarket, this is a good news to all of us!

747  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Viabtc help on: April 23, 2021, 08:14:09 PM
You could try their free service though, only if the tx fee is >= 0.0001 btc. Paid tx accelerator always charge higher fees so 25% is pretty normal. Much better to wait if its not that urgent.

Fee was 0.0006.  Cannot use free
Yes you can if its 0.0006 btc. Viabtc free accelerator can accelerate transaction fee with 0.0001 btc or above.

Just a little tip, be ready at 59th minutes of the hour and submit it on hour sharp, hour:00:00 as it accepts only limited numbers.

749  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New asic miners... seams to good to be true... on: April 23, 2021, 07:12:07 PM
I see they just published pr all over the internet. Besides there's nothing organic review from those people who have successful transaction from them (cant see one actually) and yeah those miner specs are too good to be true. You can use those existing, legit and long running business website instead of trying new, cheap and sus.
750  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My plan - 20k to 500k on: April 22, 2021, 09:18:48 AM
Well, wish you good luck if you want to buy bitcoin at 20k.

20k is only possible though if tesla and microstrategy sells their holding to fiat.
751  Economy / Services / Re: I offer 300 € in Bitcoin on: April 21, 2021, 06:29:09 PM
I'll be wary to those who will try to deal with op since this is too good to be true offer and you should OP too since sending first with €20 will be a lost for you if ever someone runs with that.

Escrowing the reward will be fair enough to the one who will deal with you since s/he's risking his/er €20 spending to the thing s/he doesn't want.

752  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Remember the name of this old desktop wallet? on: April 20, 2021, 10:04:05 AM
Electrum still exists I guess.
Got the app
Unfortunately, its not the wallet that op is finding as electrum doesn't have file extension with and a .dat extension.
753  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Phishing Website of blockchain.com wallet on: April 20, 2021, 09:34:09 AM
I tried to open it now but I can't access the link that I manually type on my browser tab.  It might that the ad was already taken down by Google.
Yes, probably. Actually, lots of google ad like this I see when I'm using mobile browser since chrome doesn't have ad blocker unlike on firefox on desktop I used.

The best thing to do is to not use a search engine. Directly type the URL into your browser, this way you eliminate the risk of this type of scam.
It might work, but I doubt newbies will do something like that since most of them are not familiar or doesn't have any idea the correct website url especially on their first attempt to search.

See after I tried typing "blockchain" in the search engine, there were 2 different but the same blockchain phishing sites pointing to the main site phishing.

If you're using a desktop browser I suggest to use uBlock Origin ad blocker to avoid this kind of ads on google.
754  Local / Pamilihan / Re: More P2P Payment options Sa BINANCE! on: April 19, 2021, 02:20:10 PM

pero mukang yung mga bangko na ang lumalapit sa cryptomarket, this is a good news to all of us!
Parang implementation lang to sa side ni binance at walang partnership or similar na nangyari.
755  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why falling prices happened? on: April 18, 2021, 07:44:10 PM
Pretty normal just like how it bitcoin arise 10-15% in just several hours.

But this time its unclear, from the fud of money laundering , the drop of hashrate of bitcoin due to blackout on some province in china where miners are located, and some from shorters who are affected of fomo.
756  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The bad side of close source wallets on: April 18, 2021, 02:19:14 PM
I'm confused cos closed source wallets sucks, anything can happen with closed source wallet, they can run a new code without you knowing, it's why open source is more reliable
Being an open source doesn't mean its secured, reliable and can be trusted.

There are lots of open source project that become scam, failed because of their scammer and incompetent team while there are successful closed source project because of the opposite.

What matter is a trusted entity/team/developer that can audit the source codes and verify if there's nothing malicious but still the team can change it before they can audit the sources.
That's why you still need to trust those people behind the project at the very least.
757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An unconfirmed tweet caused a $288 billion fall in bitcoin market value today on: April 18, 2021, 01:54:07 PM
Then, how can it have an affect on Bitcoin like this? I don't know, it doesn't make sense, in my opinion.
It does make sense, this is common on cryptocurrency the only difference is the numbers on how the price pump or dump.

This is when there is fud, fomo is a big thing for shorters/day traders. While bitcoin is on the pump or dump, domino effect for alts possibly happens.
758  Economy / Scam Accusations / [Warning] Phishing Website of blockchain.com wallet on: April 18, 2021, 01:17:29 PM
Just want to warn everyone especially newbies about this malicious google ad and phishing website of blockchain.com wallet using TRAVELERRANDS.COM domain.

This ad shows while I used "electrum wallet" using mobile browser. And idk how long does it running and how many newbies was fooled.

Ad already reported to google I hope they take down this immediately.

Tapus gawa ka na lang ng bagong thread, make sure na klaro rules and terms mo para in case may aberya ma so'solve agad. Di ako makakasali since anime related figures lang kino'collect ko. Well, good luck Smiley
760  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Is Paid Raffle allowed? on: April 18, 2021, 09:22:29 AM

Sure, why not? Marami na ding nag benta dito da pamilihan section like shoes, bags rtw at etc.

Anu pala action figures mo? Marvels, animes, etc.?
