761  Bitcoin / Hardware / About HashFast selling ASIC chips... on: March 24, 2014, 08:18:55 PM
There are HashFast customers out there with as much as 10/50 batch 2 sierras that were supposed to be shipping in November 2013. Many others are in the following batches, or are waiting for their MPP.

HashFast doesn't give a damn. Meanwhile, they are selling their ASIC to other manufacturers.

This thread is to point out that many customers would have been happy to receive the ASIC only, along with the schematics for the board, in order to be able to have a working miner almost two months ago, instead of waiting for a company that doesn't care while being trolled by their community liaison.

Changelog for today.

1) Fixed the non parsed urls; urls to matched content on bitcointalk.org/bitcoin.org are now converted to the proper page on Bitcointa.lk. (Example)
2) Bitcointa.lk can now be used to send post with special/accented characters. (Example)

The next on the todo is checking how posts are modified and removed on Bitcointalk.org to sync that as well.

Holy Science! There is no pleasing on this forum... they don't have chips - they must be taking fraudulent pre-orders ... they have the chips - they took another client's profit...
If you don't know what you are talking about, don't talk. (read hashfast.org for starters)

they sell what they already have and whats been already payed, by us.
Again, this is ridiculous.
The most intriguing part? They are doing it under the spotlight.

If HF sold all of their GN boards to third parties like black miner, it is possible that this means that HashFast will ship Batch #2 (and 3 and 4) customers the new EVO Sierras at no added cost:). Perhaps!!
Expect half the number of boards then. (re support quoting 1600GH instead of 4 boards for the MPP)

Probably one or more of the chips you have, where paid by me in September 2013.
Think about customers that (without considering the MPP) have (October 2013 orders) bigger than this "first batch".
No respect can be brought to HF or people reselling it's hardware.

If by last post of the thread you mean the first unread message (there is an extensive db side read tracking system), you should click the blue icon left of the thread title. You might need to be logged in for this function to work.

You can also find a "Go to First Unread" link inside the thread navigation. Unread posts are also marked as "New":

Btw, it looks like that the images proxy server @ Bitcointalk.org is currently down. You can check the thread on Bitcointa.lk to see them (we have an images proxy server as well there Wink)

What about the 1000BTC bet about power efficiency that was supposed to go to charity that Josh conveniently forgot about after the BTC value spiked last year.
They didn't forgot about it, they created an ad-hoc charity for the goal of receiving the donation.

Have the lawyers hired progressed in beating common sense into the company?
No, quite the opposite:

(not exactly due to our lawyers, but it's a reply from theirs)

Non puoi farlo, sono in due formati diversi. Electrum ha un master seed nel suo file (electrum.dat?), il client satoshi funziona in altro modo. Devi fare una transazione.
