Pakistan are in trouble with their opening batsmen, even in the last match against Bangladesh, their slow batting was going to close the match for Bangladesh. If this kind of slow batting continues, it will put pressure on the players in every match. Pakistan's bowling top class has no option to raise any questions about it. But in the semi-final, Pakistan will have to face the bowlers of New Zealand. And how much aggressive bowling they do has already been seen in this World Cup.
The main problem with Pakistan is their middle order, even in the last match they struggled to cross the line loosing wickets unnecessary. They need Babar Azam to perform to put a good total on the board or when they are chasing. Hopefully we will not see any rain interruptions and we would see a great semi final and i believe the Pakistan top order determines who gets to the final.

Babar Azam has that ability no doubt. But one of my online friend discussed about this, the kind of cricket Babar Azam has played in this biswacup (Hindi maybe) I think he will want to forget about this World Cup. Because he has performed very poorly, it is now to be seen what kind of performance he will perform in the next match. Pakistan is struggling with their batting department in this World Cup, top order, middle order are not able to give their best properly. So all eyes will be on Pakistan, and whether they can control that pressure or not is the main thing.
As predicted when Pakistan needed the top order to perform and when the match was on the line Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam performed exceeding all expectations and returned back to form and the bowlers were good as usual and now it all depends upon the match tomorrow between England and India. I wanted to see India and Pakistan in the final and it would be the biggest event in Cricket this year but i feel England have an edge going into the semi finals.

~
In the Bangladesh vs India match we saw that the ICC completely favored India. I wouldn't be surprised to see the ICC do the same against England.
I have no idea what you are talking about, if you claim that the match officials did something then there might be an argument which i have no idea what you are claiming here. What does ICC have to do in a match  Roll Eyes.

I believe the only solution here is to hire an independent third party that can assess the ground situation, and if they believe that it’s safe then team India should visit and play in Pakistan. Furthermore if team India then too refuses then ICC should heavily fine them, and lastly suspend them from the next ICC tournament to send out a strong message.
Do you really think that the ICC will suspend India from their ICC tournaments, i highly doubt that, they might levy a fine but i doubt there will be any suspension if they fail to turn up for the tournament citing security reasons.

~
PCB did try that route in court and according to my knowledge, they lost every time and even had to pay fine + reimbursement to BCCI.

The reason they lost was that they failed to provide proof or a single piece of paper against BCCI.
Yes, a fine of $1.6 million was paid by PCB because they claim that a binding Memorandum of Understanding was singed while they failed to produce that and BCCI claimed that it was just a proposal.

It's hard to say if pump will come. I don't even believe if pump will come in a short time. The problem between CZ and SBF has been going even further with binance was dumping FTT to the bottom. It's even worst with FTX that was halting withdrawal for their users.
There is no guarantee that the price would rally simply because they are sponsoring a major tournament. FTX is one of the official sponsors for the ongoing T20 Cricket World Cup and we all know what is going on with their token. CZ is dumping their token and it is driving the entire market down.

Crypto.com is sponsoring the FIFA World Cup and they were a major sponsor in some of the major tournaments for a while including the UFC and as a company they are getting the exposure.

785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana going Big??? on: November 06, 2022, 07:46:01 PM
This sounds like good news for solana but I wonder how powerful solana will be when constant outages and it's virtually impossible to fix the problem. Solana used to be rated as a potential project but it clearly fell short of expectations and now it is facing stiff competition as new projects are developing like aptos and sui. For me the future of solana is becoming murky and has no future.
The constant outages is a real issue and it is not virtually impossible to solve those issues, if they are able to solve them, it would be beneficial for the project and the developers who trusted them and created their project. I know a few projects that are running on SOL but not heard about the new ones you have mentioned. Partnership with Google Cloud is huge and hopefully we will see many developments from them in the coming years.

By the way for few hours Pakistan was the top team in group 2. I am sure almost every Pakistani fan never thought that their team would have qualified for the semifinals in this world cup. I am sure this time the finals would be played between Indian and Pakistan and every cricket fan would enjoy it.
It was an impossible aspect to believe that Netherlands would defeat South Africa but once that happened then it was a matter of time Pakistan defeating Bangladesh would serve their purpose of moving to the next round.

New Zealand is a tough team to defeat and if Pakistan are able to defeat them then we might see them in the final and India will be facing England who is another challenge in this format. Anyone can win on their given day.

well before the fight Oliveira said in the press conference that he will knockout Makhachev in the 1st round, so he went forward straight to Makhachev like a psycho and thrown all of his fight IQ in the garbage, Were Makhachev respected Oliveira and keep his calm and focus towards the fight, while many don't want to engage Oliveira on the ground Islam Makhachev is different he likes Oliveira being in the ground and that choke was pretty much tight for Oliveira so he tap out and lost the fight,
Charles Olivera won against Tony Ferguson, Michael Chandler, Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje by walking towards the opponent like a psycho and were able to take their punishment while dishing out punishment of his own but the difference here in this fight was that Islam Makhachev knew exactly what he will do and he will not back down from the ground game while others were afraid of his ground game Islam Makhachev jumped into his guard and submitted him  Cheesy.

It was South Africa's group B performance that disappointed the most, the ultimate chokers in the group. In the T20 World Cup 2022, Pakistan finished 2nd in their group after a dramatic ending. When both teams win, there is a possibility of a final between India and Pakistan.
South Africa giving Pakistan the opportunity was the performance of the day  Cheesy. If there is a final between India and Pakistan, it would be huge as it will be one of the most viewed matches in history.

New Zealand and Pakistan facing for the first semi finals.
England and India will be facing in the second semi finals.

With the exception of Chipmixer, all the other signature campaigns are Crypto casino based, some are still for many years this is big proof that the Crypto casino industry is booming and the ICOs days are over, seven years ago all the signatures you see here are all Cryptocurrency projects.
Even back then you would see mixers and gambling sites advertising here in the forum. Now a days no one gives a shit about alts, forget about scams and the ICO as both are synonymous  Cheesy.

Will Bitcointalk become known as a gambling forum?
Will the days of the altcoins signature campaign return in the future?
As the name suggests it is a bitcointalk forum and multiple topics are covered here. Alts days are over a long back. You do not need someone to create new alts everyday Tongue

Mean! It is so obvious that Manchester City is a very good team, the team is very complete and determined. Imagine playing one man down and yet they are leading the possession and showing sign of even scoring goal than Fullham.
Even if Arsenal is topping the table, I am seriously rooting for Manchester City to be the champions of this year's English Premier League.
Damn and a penalty for Manchester City during the extra time. Both the team played well but i am really impressed with the way Manchester City was playing with 10 man and challenging Fulham all the time even though they were not able to score goals but finally they got the lucky penalty to score and they scored and it was not the best of penalty kicks but the goalie was in a poor position to handle that.

It's an easy target to chase for team like England.  This match is important for England for making it to semifinals.
Till now match is in favour of England.
It was an easy target and England even got a great start but now the England batsman are giving catching practice to the Sri Lankan fielders as they already lost 5 wickets. Ben Stokes is still in the crease and if he looses his wicket now, then we might see England panicking now Cheesy.

Not a huge total to chase, 30 runs to win from 30 balls. Possible to get but the way England lost the 5 wickets makes me think that Sri Lanka will make them hard for them to chase them.
792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk have Just a year to make back his money🙆 on: November 04, 2022, 08:32:57 PM
Twitter's mMAUs (monthly Monetizable Active Users) stands at 450 million. If they pay $8 per month, that gives Elon $3.6B per month. It will take 13 months to make $44B - the purchase price QED. Elon Musk is a genius.
Implementing money for advanced perks and the verification is a genius move and everyone who wants to keep that status will be paying him. But the idea behind the implementation is to have total control over the platform rather than depending on the advertisers who will have certain demands of limiting certain users and in order to avoid them, it is kind of necessary but the valuation you just gave is not correct as not everyone of these will paying money to use Twitter.
793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important are exchanges? on: November 04, 2022, 07:24:02 PM
~
There will be two types of Bitcoin: a "clean" permissioned asset and a "tainted" decentralized one. But he thing is that given that bitcoin is as fungible as any other "hard" asset, any division will be highly subjective and based only on the source from which particular chunk of bitcoin has come. If it came from a regulated cryptocurrency exchange, it will be considered good even if it has had connections with criminal activity. However, if it comes from individuals who participate in anonymous peer-to-peer exchanges, it will automatically be deemed criminal money, even if there were no such connections. So, we can assume that in the future, exchanges will play a major role as government's means of control.
It is possible that we might reach those situations in the future but not anytime soon. As long as it is decentralized and i am able to spend my coins without revealing my identity and the source i will be more than happy to use them as my currency and the moment it stops being a pseudo privacy asset there is no point in using them. Heard some online wallets are having issues with the source of funds, if they are from gambling sites or mixers and i wish those stays on that limits and nothing extreme.
794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why would CZ go after banks? on: November 03, 2022, 09:14:27 PM
I don't know if you've heard, Binance CEO CZ is considering buying banks, it's a shocking news I read online a while ago, this man is one of the most respectable in crypto space, why is he making this move? Not long ago Elon finally took over Twitter, what do you think CZ is planning to do here? Why would he go after banks? To have a physical crypto bank or something?
So CZ is venturing into everything he can get his hands into, trying to monopolize the cryptocurrency market and now planning to invest in other sectors as well. Binance also invested $500 million in the Twitter purchase by Elon Musk. Having his cryptocurrency exchange and then having his own bank, it would be easier for anyone to make transactions from fiat to crypto and wise versa rather than looking for a third party if he is able to purchase one.

The chances of Pakistan qualifying exist only on paper. In reality, it is impossible to think that South Africa will lose to the Netherlands. Miracles do not happen in cricket.
What happens it is a rain affected match and Netherlands have a small total to chase, so anything is possible when rain is interrupting the matches throughout this tournament. If the match points are shared between South Africa and Netherlands and Pakistan wins the next match against Bangladesh by a huge margin then they have the possibility to qualify with Net run rate.

Tonight it was Shadab Khan day, he played an outstanding innings to take Pakistan to a great total and then he bowled really well picking up two important wickets.

A major problem with most cricket boards around the world is that they are more interested in making money rather than doing what is right for the team as a whole. I am aware that a lot of countries including Bangladesh have a lot of money available to them for the development of cricket boards. Despite this, they are still not doing well in cricket due to the corrupt personnel who are behind the scenes.
Are you watching the matches, Bangladesh have a good bowling line up and it is the best they have in their history and you think that they are not improving in finding quality players. How about the performance of Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman. Development is not an instant process, it takes time grooming a generation of players right from the school days.

~
Many people who love cricket can guess what is the current situation of cricket. Not only Bangladesh also Many countries around the world now use cricket as a means of earning source of money. There is a widening gap between cricket spectators and policy makers. Moreover, the board has no focus on making a cricketer. Politics will continue to exist in cricket but when it affects the existence of the game, no one can understand the direction of its future.
All the sporting events globally are played to attract audience and generate income.

Nfts are altcoins in pictures format.
It obeys the rules of supply and demand.
NFTs seems more like Art.
I am curious to know how many NFT you are holding and what is the use case and will you be getting the same valuation if you want to sell them. The hype was good and some were able to make quick money while it lasted. If an NFT can be used inside a game then it would be great and that could be valuable, other than that what is the point in holding these pictures worth huge amounts  Wink.

I was riding the NFT hype but now i have second thoughts on its future .

I got a big doubt that Pereira could win against Adesanya that now has a great record with MMA, kickboxing is a different combat sport than MMA, and even though he knockout Izzy in the past it doesn't mean he could do it again, and this time they will fight is a different playing field and I think Israel Adesanya is accustomed with the MMA than Pereira, for sure,
Kickboxing is different than MMA but Israel Adesanya is one of the few champions in modern MMA who is holding the belt without a great ground game, he has a pretty good ground defense but he likes the striking range which is kickboxing in almost all of his fights.

Alex Pereira is fighting for the belt in just his 4th fight in the UFC which is crazy and the funny thing would be if he defeats Israel Adesanya for the third time and then announces his retirement with a perfect record against Israel Adesanya it would be the greatest meme ever  Cheesy.

At the end of 5.4 overs, Bangladesh collected 58 runs without losing any wickets. Liton Das is batting well. I have never seen such great batting from a Bangladeshi batsman before.
I was also not expecting any magical performance and when Liton Das came to open the innings i knew he is on a mission and this should be his permanent position as he is putting all the bowlers under pressure. The other Bangladesh player that astonished me before that was Tamim Iqbal and Mohammad Ashraful in one of the match against Australia.

Rain has stopped play and hopefully we will not miss the match and will be able to continue soon.

It appears apple developers are not fans of gambling?

If apple based platforms ban gambling advertisements.

Could apple gain a reputation for having an anti gambling stance in the future. Which might lead to a backlash where casinos boycott apple based products?
Employee's are becoming entitled now a days and the company is changing their policies according to these entitled people. They should fire them rather than dancing to their tune  Cheesy.

I don't remember statistics or revenue numbers being published in response to facebook and other platforms banning cryptocurrency advertisements. Or if there was an actual backlash in those cases where social media platforms lost a significant chunk of revenue as a result of bans.
We know the position Facebook is in right now as they lost over $700 billion this year, i do not think it is solely because they had any restrictions on advertisement but the manner in which it was implemented banning advertisement based on race, sexual orientation and religion. Without results the advertisers pull out .
