781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People die from heart attack when they hit the jackpot. on: January 28, 2021, 12:16:03 PM
Very unlucky, maybe they're betting their whole lives and didn't expect that they will gonna win. As time goes by, the important thing is to make yourself healthy and free from any heart disease 'cause anytime heart attack might occur in this kind of once in a lifetime occasion. I really feel bad for them because they waited for this moment but sadly, they will not experience it because they're on the other side of the world. Always don't let emotions eat you during this kind of moment, and even at the actual gambling because you might suffer in the worst way than dying instantly without feeling regrets.
782  Economy / Economics / Re: Vaccination Started in India | Impact over Indian Economy & World? on: January 22, 2021, 10:17:23 AM
I don't think so because other countries have already started their vaccination especially those countries that developed the vaccine. But since India is also a manufacturer of the vaccine like those countries who also developed it such as US and China, we bought those vaccines from their country and obviously it's an advantage for their economy.

It'll help also the economy because they will now recover their production rate from 50% to 100% that will also develop the economy.

Speaking of India,

The building being built by the Serum Institute of India, the largest vaccine manufacturer in the world, caught fire. Did you know that a billion doses of the COVID-19 vaccine will come from their country? Their opportunity to grow their economy during the pandemic was lost and now I don't know if they will recover it fast and produce a lot of vaccines.

Our country has also negotiations with Serum Institute of India, we ordered 30 million doses of vaccine which is Covovax.

783  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Kahalagahan ng pagkakaroon ng back ups o storage ng Password on: January 21, 2021, 08:16:07 PM
tldr some parts but if we're talking about accounts, mas okay nga talaga na may back up ka sa lahat ng accounts mo lalo na't kapag involved ang pera. Not just back up but to secure it kasi nga pero ang pinaguusapan dito, mahirap kitain and at the same time it's an investment. You bought bitcoin then it means you're expecting a profit so dapat nga talagang pangalagaan ang mga accounts. Also, kapag magbaback up ng passwords, mas better na wag iupload through online, higher risk of getting hijacked.
Pero syempre we can't avoid using this kind of wallet kasi para mabilis maconvert to php and it has a lot of benefits especially kapag you are pursuing business, this kind of app will be helpful to you.

So purket may bitcoin ka, you think it's safe. Hindi ganon yun, hindi siya kagandahan ng bitcoin. It will always depende on the wallet na gagamitin mo.
785  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pagpasok ng Tao Sa Crypto on: January 21, 2021, 07:14:41 PM
Mataas ang possibility na marami ang maging involve sa bitcoin kase they have witness already bitcoin at a price that even those na matagal na did not expect. And for sure like you said dadami din ang mga scammers na pagkakakitaan ang mga taong mang-mang at bago lang sa mundo ng cryptocurrency lalong lalo na sa social media platform. And maybe what we can do is to raise help awareness about such. Meron din nagbibigay sa yt channel nila ng ilang advise how not to get scam in bitcoin, and maybe by sharing those we can help them to be more aware. Pag may kakilala tayong pumapasok o naguumpisa pa lang in bitcoin help them. Educate them.
Kase marami akong kakilala na pinagtatawanan lang ang ilang nag-uumpisa, as if they know everything about bitcoin. Please don't be like them!
786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No 2FA and robbed of 0.097BTC on: January 21, 2021, 06:52:27 PM
Sorry to hear your loss mate, maybe scammers are already monitoring you because of your recent gains on roulette and didn't hesistate to scam when you deposited another bitcoin. Also, maybe there are parts that is your fault because you have just deposited a bunch of money without securing the account first. Every accounts in the internet can possibly be bypassed now that's why 2fa is a thing. Lesson learned, you should secure your account next time before putting money on it.
787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Attention: Biden has officially won, make sure your sportsbook pay you. on: January 21, 2021, 06:11:41 PM
I know about the lines when the results were announced. I tried to explain somehow why they couldn't pay the money. It's very strange. They must realize that it would have a very big impact on their reputation. And it will cause them reputational damage

Perhaps they don't care much about their reputation. For online gambling sites, it is not very difficult to make an exit scam and then open a new website with completely different design and URL after a few months. Many of them are based in various island nations and that makes it very difficult for users from the US or the European Union to pursue legal measures.
Or maybe they're just waiting for the official inauguration of Biden which is yesterday so they're holding the payments. Reputations can be build again and a bet like this can't ruin it but if so, they will just recreate another platform that's similar to it and rename it. That's why I'm betting on gambling platforms that has already a lot of investments in promoting their business, the popular betting platforms which prioritize their reputation because they're on the leading. All of us want to have safe money, then use a gambling platform that can't be easily replaced/renamed when trying to exit scam.
788  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔮 Futuur - Predict the Future! 🔮 on: January 21, 2021, 05:34:28 PM
Not a day goes by that I don't open this site, it seems to be becoming part of my online lifestyle.

Me too. I do particularly like the breadth of markets on offer. I'm sticking mainly to US politics at the moment, but it's nice to see science, business and entertainment covered in addition to the more traditional sports markets.
Just waiting for the results of the Trump pardon bet to be confirmed, which will free up my bitcoin for further bets - I went all-in Cheesy

Yeah, I'm always daily check on my futuur account and got easy money when a bet is obviously won especially in politics. You can easily understand where you'll bet in politics because it's very predictable and yeah, it's politics. While in sports, already won a few BTC because I'm also watching NBA sometimes and it makes it's an opportunity for me to grow my BTC in futuur.

I have heard Putin son has to use the vaccine, right? correct me if I'm wrong.
I will correct you because you are wrong.  Putin has no son, he has two grown daughters.  Moreover, the media have long reported that one of the daughters was vaccinated with the Russian "sputnik V" vaccine.  As for the rates for vaccinating 100 million US residents by April, I do not believe that this can be done because there is already a shortage of vaccine from Pfizer.  The other day, the Italians were outraged that Pfizer had not given them the vaccine, although he should have.
But some people voluntarily refuse and are afraid of vaccination. This is also worth considering and will slow down the pace of vaccination
Yeah, most people are afraid of vaccination because it's not still guaranteed yet. I understand how it feels because there is a recent controversy about a vaccine called dengvaxia here in our country, many people died.
789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: January 21, 2021, 05:18:01 PM
Valorant's champions tour is now starting, I'm hyped up!

Does anyone plays or watches valorant here? It's the new fps game but I guess the legitimate gamers only knew about this thing and how cool it is. Many pro players have already switched to Valorant and popular eSports team is preparing their roster now for the Championship this year 2021. I want to bet on those teams I know who'll win all of those tournaments.

VCT Challengers will now come, hoping there's a bunch of gambling platforms where we can bet now.  Undecided

watch this vid, it's very sick in promoting the game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xy84KeQCzCQ
790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest 10 countries that gamble the most. on: January 21, 2021, 04:46:11 PM
I'm not sure about this statistic. It seems to me that there should be other countries. I read a study that more gambling is done in poor countries. This has to do with the fact that people are so hopeful of getting money. It's also obvious that it has to be countries with a large population
gambling in poor countries, the average is illegal gambling...
indeed the statistical data displayed is not very convincing but I think the data comes from research on gambling in countries where gambling is legal.
I agree on the part that the data that has been used in this article isn't accurate and very outdated but disagree on the part that gambling was done in poor countries. If you're referring to 3rd world countries then I guess it's not true because those who are hoping to get huge money in an instant, are just betting a small amount of money unlike in casinos in other countries which we deal with bigger bets.

Anyways, as long as there are no survey, polls or research that have been done internationally, I won't believe any article that exists on the internet because there's a chance that it might be inaccurate because gambling is in different places right now.
791  Economy / Economics / Re: In 2021 to 2022 you decide your life and wealth on: January 21, 2021, 04:23:20 PM
No matter what decision you are facing, it will always bring in your faith but as long as you're living, have fun and chose those things you think will help in your life. We don't share the same faith so it means that not all of us can become rich soon, we have a different story and it's not guaranteed that you're still in this world the next day. As long as I'm happy with my loved ones, I feel contented already, wealth is just to secure your happiness but if you have someone that will make you happy in rich or poor, it's already a huge deal.

And besides, no one wants to be poor, no one wants to have a daily struggle in life so we have a choice to grind and give an effort in life.
792  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Cryptocurrencies Really Money? on: January 21, 2021, 03:55:56 PM
Yesterday, while surfing the social media that aggregate trends, Twitter, I ran into what was like a very exciting poll, the best I have seen this year.
The poll was created by International Monetary Fund (IMF) to monitor the two types of virtual currencies which are; the cryptocurrencies and the central bank digital currency.
The poll went thus;
1.   Are central banks digital currency really money? The poll result was Yes (33.8%) and no (66.2%)
2.   Are crypto currencies really money? The poll result was; Yes (79.9%) and no (20.1%)
What is your opinion about these polls?
Of course cryptocurrency is real money. Money is used for transactions and anything that can be used to exchange a thing can be called money. I'm wondering why does digital currency is not real money in the poll but if you're looking for the kind of cryptocurrency, it's also a digital currency. Digital currency can be money, as long as you can use it to transact and buy things, it's one of them. While cryptocurrency, it's obviously money, we already bought a lot of things using this currency and already been used by a lot of people.
793  Economy / Economics / Re: what will happens if everyone has own currency, doesn't a bad for Economics ? on: January 21, 2021, 03:33:24 PM
Actually right now, we can have our own currency but who'll invest in it? who'll circulate the flow? how can it have value? If all of us are having the same agenda then it's not guaranteed that our own coin to have value.  So it's very impossible for everyone to have their own currency unless they have good agenda, people, and huge investors that are interested in your currency. In order to make these things possible, we also need high-level skills and have a great connection with big people in this industry.
794  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you put your investment motto in one sentence when you enter the cryptocurre on: January 21, 2021, 03:14:08 PM
Partner of success? When I'm hearing the word investment, there will be also success. This isn't applied to cryptocurrency only but in general because if you have invested something, put an effort into it, analyze it, it'll give you a success afterwards like earning profits and achieving goals. All of those popular rich people also invested in the start on what they think is the best and will probably give them a profit. In cryptocurrency, it's also the same because you're investing for long-term on a potential coin then it will appear a huge profit in the end.
795  Economy / Economics / Re: The sale of the COVID-19 vaccine on the dark web continues. on: January 21, 2021, 02:56:30 PM
Referring to what has often happened is the crime of evil health workers, in my city, health workers are often caught.  maybe later some bad health workers buy the vaccine and then exchange it for expensive vaccines because currently, the price of vaccines from each pharmaceutical company is different..

I don't know whether this story is believable. The distribution of the vaccine is carefully controlled by the governments and every single vial is audited and accounted for. There may be a few corrupt healthcare workers in the system. But then stealing the vaccines would take active collusion from everyone involved, from the high ranking officials to the health care worker who is injecting the medication.
I believe it would be very stupid for both buyer and seller to do a vaccine trade via the dark web. First of all, these items require some special and efficient logistics and, secondly, what would be the guarantee of safety about the item. For an average of $300 per dose, it would be crazy to make such a trade considering health authorities will give it for free.
Yah, probably those who're selling vaccines on the dark web are just scammers because they knew from the start that it'll be given free to the people because the government bought it for cheap.

It doesn't guarantee you that it's legit and it will give you safety, it may cause harm to your health and die.

Why would you buy a vaccine that isn't verified by a medical doctor, it's very scary.

797  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Bitcoin Help The Poor on: January 21, 2021, 01:37:42 PM
In some parts, it actually helps the poor by giving opportunities to earn money through investing in it. But if we think generally, I think it's not really helping, 36% of the people are poor people and only 1% of the poor people are the ones who have the ability to access the internet so they can do investment.

I don't think we can count the others as poor if they already have the devices to access the internet like pc, tablets and smartphones.
798  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there subject to study Cryptocurrency ? on: January 21, 2021, 12:58:58 PM
Economics is being taught to any university and you can learn the basics about the market, by that, we can easily learn how cryptocurrency works. There are learning platforms like Coursera where we can learn more deeply about cryptocurrency. Actually, there's a bunch of platforms where we can learn about cryptocurrency and can give you a certification that can be used in a real job.

In my experience, I only learned cryptocurrency here in bitcointalk.org, it's really a great platform where we can learn a lot.
799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Supposed to make me smarter, not dumber on: January 21, 2021, 12:11:22 PM
Of course, this isn't a forum for those who are intellectual people, everyone can go here and ask even it's been asked for multiple times. That's how a platform works where discussion is non-stop even it's already been tackled many times. If you want more complex learning you could go on Coursera and study there, watch educational videos about crypto on YouTube. This platform is open for everyone even if you're dumb, don't expect that users will create complex topics just for you who already have learned a lot. Also, moderators are doing their best to retain those topics that are updated and helpful, you can simply ignore if you don't like the topics or if you want some spice, then made a topic that is extraordinary.
800  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs covid 19? on: January 21, 2021, 11:26:58 AM
With the recent launch of the Covid 19 vaccines, will it affect bitcoin, I assume that the Covid 19 vaccine will make the economy stabilize again, will this also affect bitcoin?  will bitcoin weaken or vice versa?
I don't think there's an impact at all because it's already resisted even vaccines aren't available yet.

It already proves in the mid-year of 2020 that it doesn't affect the bitcoin.

The price value of bitcoin keeps resisting and look what happened now, a new bitcoin ATH has been recorded in the history of cryptocurrency.
