802  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Avalon 1166 went Idle after Aging on: November 11, 2023, 08:38:13 AM
I'm using binance pool and I don't think that is pool problem or I will get BOOTBY0X7: AM_BOOTBY_POLLING or
8: AM_BOOTBY_POOL_INACTIVE

To provide more context, during the first 10 minutes of operation, everything seems to be functioning perfectly like you see in logs. However after, I've noticed that hardware errors increase, and the hashrate decreases. Eventually, the miner reboots due to `AM_BOOTBY_NOSHARE = 0x11`, indicating five minutes without hashrate.

Given these observations, it does seem like a more intricate issue, possibly related to hardware. If you have any further suggestions or if there are specific diagnostics I can perform, I'd greatly appreciate your guidance.
Honestly, it's hard to troubleshoot this kind of issue without the unit on hand.

I have a few things that I would like you to try instead of running the unit at high performance mode can you switch it to low power mode you can find it under pool config.

Also, I noticed from your logs about ECMM that it also has an abnormal value meaning the the mmboard might have a problem or have poor contact with the hashboard. Solution try to replug all cables from the control board and hashboard then it again.
803  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S19 90TH Full hashrate but power draw only 2600W on: November 11, 2023, 08:21:46 AM
Have you tried to set that unit to low power mode?
The other similar unit might achieve a similar power draw if you set it to low power mode you can find it under settings then pool config.

Also, take note of the firmware version of the unit that can draw 2600w. If the firmware version is lower than the unit that draws 3000w you can't able to downgrade this unit(3000w unit).

Or the other option is to use brains OS and manually set the power to 2600w.
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Poloniex was hacked (Security Breach Discussion) on: November 10, 2023, 11:59:18 PM
Why did they looking for whitehat hackers? They don't have any white hat hackers before?
It's pretty bad they already hacked in the past and now they still haven't hired any expert to protect their exchange?

What I see here is another inside job they already get enough funds to hold for the next block halving and make a profit and they are going to wait again until the price of BTC massively drops below $20k.

I had funds on Poloniex before they never sent my coins back to my wallet accessing my account again with zero balance. I never trust them because I know they are going to do this again and now it happens again just like what other exchanges or other businesses do they come back and run again(hit and run).
805  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Can anyone help me please to withdraw money from my blocked Binance account? on: November 10, 2023, 11:46:47 PM
If you are not verified Binance users there's no way to withdraw money from your Binance account until you pass the KYC.

Or maybe that is why your funds are blocked due to your Bitcoin deposit not yet being confirmed or more than 1 confirmation? Because you can trade on Binance even if the deposit amount isn't confirmed yet but it's blocked from withdrawing and transferring the amount you trade to the funding wallet.
The solution for this wait for your BTC to be confirmed more than 2 confirmations before you can transfer/withdraw and exchange it into money.

If not, and the issue is beyond of that then better contact Binance support because they are the only ones who can help you.
806  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Recommendation for multi-crypto software wallets that support BIP-39 passphrase on: November 10, 2023, 11:30:11 PM
That's exactly what I wanted to ask bayu7adi after I saw his post. Are you sure that it would be a downgrade in security and why? If the wallet is being emulated on a clean desktop OS, would there be a loss in entropy if we generated a seed through that emulated software, or would the keys be less secure? Obviously, it would have to be a trusted and safe emulator, which also begs the question if there is such a thing?
It should work just fine in terms of security but we can't guarantee the safety of our wallet to any emulators if connected online. However, if the wallet you are using is capable of running offline or has no internet connection maybe any emulator is safe to use just make sure that the emulator and the wallet remain offline never connect it online, and only use a cam for scanning and signing a transaction.
807  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Avalon 1166 went Idle after Aging on: November 10, 2023, 10:53:11 PM
Ok, I notice bootby tells me that the miner is rebooting, and then under Pools, it shows bad.
So what pool do you mine?

Can you try to switch to other pools?
I suggest try to switch to the Viabtc pool to test here's the link https://www.viabtc.com/

And try run the miner at low power mode you can find it under pool config.
808  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: I have btc in my electrum wallet. How can I send lightning? on: November 09, 2023, 03:53:00 PM
Pretty bad you're too late to do that the fees are suddenly spike according to mempool the low priority fee is around $8 but I think it will rise again more due to recent events about ORDI.

The only way I could suggest is that if the transaction is still unconfirmed and you already made a bump transaction you can maybe able to speed up the transaction by submitting it to the ViaBTC accelerator.

Here's the link https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator
809  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: minimum amounts to buy and sell a coin when trading on: November 08, 2023, 11:59:46 PM
SafeTrade exchange? I never heard this exchange before?

About other exchanges like Binance they have a list of coins with minimum limits that you can trade check the link below for Bitcoin they have a 1k sat minimum that you can trade and 0.0001 for ETH.

810  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Eng: Tutorial] Kali NetHunter - Linux on Android on: November 08, 2023, 11:12:33 PM
Just wow, I was looking for something like this before that support phone and I like the GUI but have you tried to install any Bitcoin wallet on the GUI?
Or it has limited app and software support?

I have dex on my Samsung phone connected to my smart TV with a keyboard it looks like a mini PC but it only supports the APK app.
So I just want to know if this can be cast or connected to a smart TV that works like a small PC with a mouse and keyboard and if it supports other software like Electrum appimage.

I just want it to try and I hope this won't brick my phone.
811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there open source credit money software tools (linked to Bitcoin perhaps)? on: November 08, 2023, 04:40:02 PM
What part of the bank/credit system that you want to replicate?
Because if you just want to clone the whole system then like the first reply above it's illegal because before you can have your own digital retail bank you need to be licensed before you can operate a digital bank.

Or do we misunderstand what you talking about?
You might be looking for a payment gateway where you can able to accept BTC payments on your site or shop.
If I'm right then BTCpayserver is what you looking for.
812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: please help me with this question on: November 08, 2023, 04:23:33 PM
Did you manually type this private key?
And how did you derive the address from the private key? I mean what process did you do to generate this address?

I tried to import the private key from bitaddress but it says it's an invalid private key. However, it still generates a key and address but the address is different from yours.

Would you mind telling us what tool or wallet did you imported that private?
It should be invalid and I'm sure if you send BTC on that address consider it lost.
813  Other / Meta / Re: Discovered a new type of error! on: November 08, 2023, 10:42:37 AM
I don't see any error from the image you pointed to but it shows edited November 6. He might just edit and erase them all for some reason.

If you check the thread you’ll see that it was last edited November 6th so my take is that everything was edited out of the thread, so it’s not just an error on your end.

Edit:

I just checked ninjastic.spce to see if it will show the difference but I could get any.

It's fine to me even if it loads slowly maybe you're just too excited let it load for a while.
814  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need more information on: November 08, 2023, 08:54:01 AM
If you are planning to hold it for the long term then you need a wallet that is totally disconnected from the internet to make sure you are far from any online attack.
Like the other said Electrum is a good choice but without knowledge of how to protect your wallet, you're still vulnerable to any attacks that is why having a cold storage wallet or offline wallet is one of the best solutions to protect your wallet from online attacks.

However, since you want to DCA your funds cold/offline wallet is a bit technical when making a transaction and not good for daily use because it might infect the device where your cold/offline wallet is installed.
815  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: PSU3300-1 - 2 BLINKS GREEN THEN red light solid on: November 08, 2023, 08:23:15 AM
If it shows red light then there is a problem with your PSU.

If the suggestion above does not work or the PSU isn't able to power the unit because it suddenly turns the light red there is a possibility that the PSU is shorted or might have a few burnt parts.

I suggest disassemble the unit and check the board visually and look for obvious brunt parts. If you found one you need to replace it.
816  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The mom of my friend got scammed 7.3k$ from coinbase usin an app like teamviewer on: November 07, 2023, 09:58:24 PM
How did she contact this scammer? How does the scammer install TeamViewer on her phone?
Do they meet in person? Or did she install it with herself?
The bad thing she did why she allow someone to install any app on her phone it should have been personal no one should give access to your personal things like a phone especially if all your bank accounts and assets are on your phone.

If she didn't meet this scammer in person there's no way that she can find this guy and you can't reverse the transaction.

I'm sorry but no one here on the forum can able to help you or her with this case much better to report and seek help from local law enforcement or any cyber security agent that can able to track down this scammer.
817  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's happening with Bitcoin transaction fees? on: November 07, 2023, 08:28:23 PM
Now the fees keep increasing it is more than 100sat/vB for high priority and I believe it would increase more it's not as good as yesterday.
The only reason that I could see is due to the ordinals we saw this issue on ETH that keeps gas fees rising, and now Bitcoin is having trouble with Ordinals which keeps the fees high same as what happens to ETH when PlayToEarn rises.

The mempool chart for incoming transactions shows a big drop in incoming transactions it seems fees suddenly dropped from 100sat/vB to 70sat/vB.

I can imagine if more people will use Ordinals in the future I hope that they develop their own blockchain or have separate chains to get rid of these fees.
818  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Recommendation for multi-crypto software wallets that support BIP-39 passphrase on: November 07, 2023, 07:28:44 PM
Interesting, this is the first time I have seen this name and after some research, it fulfills all the requirements of OP but the Airgap doesn't seem to be an actual wallet cause they mentioned it watch only a wallet for their product Airgap Vault.

Also, they focused on creating wallets for Android and IOS, I tried to click Windows and other platform download files but it only redirected me to the APK file nothing else that could find download links of .exe.
I'm using Airgap for some coins that I mine since the pandemic it was installed on my two phones I never had any issues using Airgap Wallet they do have separate wallet software the one you mentioned AirGap Wallet is the watch-only wallet where you can monitor your coins, make unsigned transaction and broadcast the transaction and the AirGap vault is where you generated the seed backup and it only signed a transaction by scanning the QR code generated from the Airgap wallet. That's how it works.

About the exe for Windows version they don't release new versions it is stuck at the 3.10 version if you still looking for the exe file you can download it here
819  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Stack miners on top of each other on: November 07, 2023, 06:40:48 PM
What exactly do you want to achieve?
Are you making a box for two miners?

If the box in the image is the one you intend to build, you might encounter temperature issues, you need to make sure that the hot air from the unit can go out if not it would lead to high temp.

I suggest adding a double fan duct and duct hose and connect it to the exhaust fan of the unit or you can make a hole for a duct hose to allow the hot air to flow freely out of the box.

If you are planning on making a soundproof box check this sample below.

820  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: My s19 90th model is not working properly please help!!! on: November 06, 2023, 06:35:42 PM
My pdu is a 30AMPs rated pdu it can handle upto 30 amps with no problem. I will try directly plugging it in a wall outlet thanks for the help..but i did notice stg i opened up the miner pulled out the control board and tried to run it with another PSU and the control board says “antminer BHB42XXX” instead of antminer s19 on the top right corner of the status page. Does any one know what this is thank you for the help🙏

It's weird if the miner type is different, according to Bitmain if it shows a miner type like yours the unit still using factory firmware according to them you need to upgrade or flash the unit with the correct and most recent firmware from Bitmain to fix it.

So I think you need to try to flash the control board first you can follow the guide from the link below on how to fix it.
