821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What could be All time high for Bitcoin for all time? on: September 04, 2023, 05:40:19 PM
I was wondering that people are saying, Bitcoin will always make higher highs but I was thinking that maybe it should go it's all time high and never go back it's all time high because there is a treen fo everything but still Bitcoin trend hasn't been started though.
You have to rephrase what you're saying because it's like jumbled words however, I get the point you're trying to say. What if you reverse it, instead of looking for the all time highs in the history and while waiting for it. Look at the all time lows, there's more encouragement if you're going to look at that part. Because people that have been disappointed with the ATHs don't think that there's another one that might come in the future. But as usual, Bitcoin is always surprising new gains and ATH and that's a cycle that's hard to break if we're going to look at its history.
And if about the question the ATH of all ATH, maybe more than $1M? We will never know because we've seen that it's like sky is the limit and the scarcer that it gets, the demand gets higher so the price will be. Or could $10M? I don't know, I want to witness those times if bitcoin reaches the gazillion price.  Tongue

were stake's hot wallets just robbed for 16 million?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5465626.0
While there have been some articles that came out first about the incident, I'd wait for the announcement of the official stake social media accounts and representatives.

If the team doesn't provide an update, it looks like this is just a misunderstanding.
They're going to give an update as they've announced the maintenance of specific cryptos ETH, USDT, and ERC20 through their telegram. But I hope that everything is fine.
823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Give Him a loan Or Partner With Him on: September 04, 2023, 04:04:11 PM
What would be the best option if a friend who happens to be good at horse racing lost his fortune coming from betting in horse racing because of illness and came to you and asked for a loan and honestly stated that he wants to use it betting in horse racing to recover his fortune.

But you have doubts because he is away betting horse racing for a long period of time and he might lose the money because you have to be updated on the conditions of the horses, jockeys, and the many handicaps, and his anxiety about recovering his fortune might fail he offers you two options loan him money or just partner with him.

What's your best course of action in this scenario?

A common friend confided this to me.
Sorry but I'll decline.
Even if he's the best horse race bettor, that won't be enough. He's been there and said to be good at it but why he don't have his own money and lost his fortune from it? It's enough to learn the lesson that he's lost his fortune from it and if he's going to ask me money, much better not to include myself by having a potential loss even it's a loan.
824  Other / Politics & Society / Re: corrupt practices of African democratic leaders. on: September 04, 2023, 02:57:58 PM
Africa is blessed with natural resources. But are under the mis-management by there corrupt leaders who claims to be democratic. but their for personal benefits. let's look at president Ali Bongo and family, which was said to have been in power for over 53years. but was taken over by military, as a case study.
I'm not from there but a friend of mine is currently working somewhere there and he has said the fact about how rich Africa really is. Just like our country, our country is rich but just being exploited by the rich people and as well as the politicians.

should Africans agree for military takeover of all the Africa nations for proper restoration of African glory. or they should remean in corrupt democratic government .
what are your say on this......
That will result in a civil war and I think is happening in some parts there. I know how patriotic and nationalistic most of the Africans but with revolution, there could be more people that might be affected by that way of taking over. But if no change will be made, the political system will just always be abused by who's in power.
825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 04, 2023, 02:39:03 PM
So it was like GSW and now Lakers also wants to step in with this potential trade that Giannis might ask in the future? AD is the one that they can trade for him. I don't think that's a worth trade for them just as what everyone is saying. He's just gonna get more injury and he won't be usable if the trade is done. Now, what if the Bucks will offer Giannis something that he can't decline? Then, it's really on him that he wants an exit to the team and wants to try something new that will make him explore with many options and play as well with other teams. Speaking of Giannis, his brother Alex signed and waived by Bucks as well. (Bucks sign and waive Alex Antetokounmpo, brother of Giannis, in apparent plan to keep him on G League team

Yeah, it all on him to decide, if by chance Bucks let him go for sure there are many teams that will be interested and will try all the possible offers that they can provide to see if they can acquire his service.
That's pretty sure when they give a hint that they're going to allow him to be released. Most of the teams are probably going to let go some of their key players just for Giannis to be taken. This is all about business and Giannis has that experience that every team needs and was also one of the pillars that have brought championship to the Bucks. Maybe some valid reason he'd say when the contract expires as he's honoring that.

While with the bucks, personally, you may not let your main alpha go without any valid reason or without any
try to keep him to stay, 2 years from now we will see what future will dictate for this issue, or maybe if by chance
it will be earlier if a problem happens or this rumor will continue to break relationship between Giannis and
the Bucks management.
He's not just too vulgar unlike with Harden. It's not about his attitude but there's something wrong with Harden's team and management but for Giannis, there's not much of an issue to be addressed for his expression of moving to another team.
826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 04, 2023, 12:04:02 PM
I don't know if this is right but if Giannis really wanted to be traded then that's the only way if they can get some good offer from the Lakers if the other teams cannot give them more players for Giannis and some good offers specifically for him. nevertheless, if the players wanted to get out from the team, the team like the 76ers would have nothing to do but accept their request since they might not want to play intensively anymore for that team.

827  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Alfa Romeo F1 Team on: September 04, 2023, 08:58:59 AM
Also that twitter account was @Stake_fi not from @stake. That account doesn't exist anymore, i guess twitter acted fast as they should on these cases. I am not sure how you got that to your feed but always check the smaller @twitterusername not only the larget name over it. And obviously urls, like you did.
Yeah, that's what those scammers are trying to do, they're copying stake but they're not far from the official name of stake. They just add stake on it and sadly, there are gullible people that also knew what stake is and then don't check the entire detail so they might fall for that.
As long as those fake accounts are reported, I think that X/Twitter is taking actions on it immediately.
828  Other / Politics & Society / Re: List of corrupt politicians and honest politicians. on: September 04, 2023, 08:33:57 AM
Actually, I am thinking about who is a corrupt politician and who is an honest politician. Then, I wonder I need to share this question with you so I can find the list of corrupt politicians and honest politicians.

I know most of the politicians are corrupt but some politicians are honest.
AFAIK, there are NGOs that track these records and have their stats and index on who are the most and least corrupt politicians. But one thing is for sure with this, if a country is progressive, there are certainly good law makers and politicians that can be found there. In my country, the Philippines, it's a total disaster. It's like corrupt politicians are everywhere, coming from local positions up to the national position and I wouldn't name names. It's like that the policies they make are only for them and rich folks that they're tied up with. I still believe that there are few honest and real public servants but they're not taking the spot light because each politician here is thinking that a good person is always a candidate that they'll be against with in the future elections.
829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I choose Bitcoin (and you'll must choose it too) on: September 04, 2023, 07:34:26 AM
It's all about the cycle that we're always counting on. The data has proved the history and yes, those scenes can be identical to what is about to come.

The historic price of bitcoin is good to note, but when trying to convince a newbie, more reasons are needed.
For convincing, I'll simply show images like this with little explanation and I won't convince them. What they need to answer is why they are investing in bitcoin. And looking unto experienced people isn't really enough as that's relying to people for investing. I agree that there are more reasons that they need to know but it's up to them to discover if bitcoin is the type of asset they wanna invest.
830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Suggest a promising project at an early stage? on: September 04, 2023, 06:55:16 AM
Coinbase has got news allowing layer 2 projects to get into them. I think that this is going to get investors who want a quick sum of profit to get into it.

During bull run, it is better to invest well known potential altcoins that already experienced bear runs and haven’t died yet, rather still standing strongly with valid price. That will be better option in my point of view
Much better if you're going to buy before the bull run. But that's much like a guessing game so you have no idea if it's going to be a good coin until the bull run arrives. The bear market is always the time that gives opportunity of what we should buy.
831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 4 Altcoins to look at in 2023 on: September 04, 2023, 03:13:10 AM
I also agree with you about Ethereum and Avalanche. You probably can't go far wrong with Ethereum and it will certainly be one of the winners in the next bull market. Avalanche still has to prove itself here, but I think the good cooperations and the possibility of subnets are promising. I would also keep my hands off Dogecoin. At most, I could imagine that there could be a small bull run if Twitter allows payment with cryptocurrencies and one of these tokens could be Dogecoin.
Ethereum has been tested over time but honestly, I'd like it more if it didn't change its algorithm from PoW to PoS and it just stayed being a PoW. There's more security on it and that's what's the better thing in the long run in projects like Ethereum. We've see how it grown and that's why there's already a trust in the community despite that it's one of the controversial as well because it's said to be semi-centralized which has been claimed to be a decentralized project. But anyway, we don't have to dig down deep with that because most of the projects that has developers will have to go in the category for being centralised no matter how good they are.
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token Promotion on: September 04, 2023, 02:38:18 AM
Tell me how to promote the token?
Hire a bounty manager, and a marketing manager and let them handle the rest. This is applicable if you have the budget and all the means to do it but if not, you can be your own man team. But the best strategy is to get known through social media but I hope that the project you're about to work and advertise with isn't a scam.

And which exchanges have the cheapest listing?
I'm not sure but there are plenty of them. There are even those exchanges that won't require you any fee as long as you've got a good community that will support the project and listing can be done through voting.
833  Economy / Economics / Re: World economy is now being powered by cryptocurrencies. on: September 03, 2023, 11:55:50 PM
Do you think that within 2030 we will find crypto currency almost everywhere in the financial sector?
IMHO, that's still not that much of years for the development in terms of adoption. That's still considered as a short time but we don't know what will actually happen.
What we're just sure about with cryptos is that they're growing faster, especially with the main thing in this space which is Bitcoin. We might be getting the idea right now that many companies in the financial sector are have their share already on it. Some may go crazy as the others that's been known to be investing millions to billions. It is what it is but 7 years from now on, there could be a huge growth that we have never expected and the market will grow vastly and I'm optimistic with it which it goes with two halvings by that time.
834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time for bounties and airdrops as we near bull season on: September 03, 2023, 11:25:29 PM
Its hard to be a bounty hunter these days cause of the market situation.
Not just that but because too many scams are still there for the past years.

During the bull market there are  alots of good bounties in the Forum that pay precipitants well ,Its hard to find them these days .Lets  hope the bull market returns soon and we could make more profits participating in bounties.
It's because that many don't pay attention when the market is stagnant. There could be a few of them that becomes successful but after that, what's next?
In relation to the market situation, that only means that there should be more bounties during the bull run because everyone expects that more money flowing to the market and will invest even to unknown projects that do have a bounty program.
835  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if there is no crypto bull run for next 10 years ? on: September 03, 2023, 10:54:33 PM
What if there is no crypto bull run for next 10 years ? Will you give up all your investments and get out of crypto because of this ? Or do you you have even more broader horizon and can wait longer to see the next bull run ?
I'll keep it there and will do some other things that might be more productive than waiting for the bull run. Bitcoin's growth was rapid and was one of the best so if it becomes laggard then that's not a problem because no matter how slow it is, the opposite of it will come for its growth.

Personally, I am very much positive with bitcoin future but we should also be prepared for all situations. Nothing can be guarantee in present times and we must also be prepared for worst situations.
I am prepared for all the situations that can come. The experiences and roller coaster rides that we've been with through it have taught a lot of things in life for me. It had increased my patience and that's why if nothing happens for a decade, I probably might be doing something else but my holdings is there and remains.
836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cockfighting? on: September 03, 2023, 10:30:52 PM
This should be observed but sadly those who take care of the rooster really forget their family needs.  All they have in mind is to make the rooster strong so that it can perform well in the fight.  This will boost the owner's ego and popularity if his fighting cocks always win.  They do their best just for a bragging right until their pet gets defeated.  I feel sorry for the families of these people, and I wonder why they don't just choose to be a fighting rooster breeders rather than being addicted to cockfighting.  This way they can earn money from their rooster breed through sales.
It's common in our country that this has become a way to earn money, not just for the actual cockfighters but also for the breeding side. And this also creates them connection to the people that they will face in their fights. So, referral after referral, they'll be also asked to breed other opponents rooster if they have become known to be a good one. I've got relatives that are into this, they're not the ones betting for the fights, they're not the owners of the roosters but they're just simply the breeders that have been trusted by the owners that are likely businessmen, seafarers and etc.
837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto market will pump soon? on: September 03, 2023, 09:59:00 PM
Need patience for few months left this year waiting bitcoin still stable in lower price, I don't huge expected with bitcoin in short time success break out to higher price.
For short time, there shouldn't really be some expectation because you'll never know what it is about to come. There's a lot to come to Bitcoin but more of it on next year. And that is because of the halving that will take place around April of 2024.

keep holding the ownership of the assets that we have until we get a profit when we sell them back
And choose the assets that you want to hold for the long term. Not all of them are significantly going to grow but many of them can be a way to make yourself profitable with them.

838  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I see something about markets today on: September 03, 2023, 09:25:53 PM
I usuallyy short but i see that market looks like how it looked like before bigger pump and short liqutation.
Be careful to short we will see green market soon now Im long with SOL,ETH,ADA Im ready for pump
Market is support zone now definately
it's like some altcoins rally definately
Good luck with that, any analysis that you think is good for your trading style must follow it. But sometimes these analyses we make don't go according to what we think. It may be turning bullish soon, but it might not. As long as you have an idea of what you're seeing in the market and you're doing it according to the plans you've set, there's nothing wrong with that. A pump or a dump, any of the two that has come then make sure that you're not leaving the chance of taking advantage of both of them. Just like what we've seen in Bitcoin for the past several days, it had turned green but eventually the market changed it course a bit but it's starting to recover now.
839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 03, 2023, 08:55:58 PM
Maybe he just wants to try something new and that's the best team that he's seeing as a championship team that can bring him another ring. Just as what KD has thought of before. Yeah, he won't be traded right away but if the time comes and talks have happened, there could be a mutual and beneficial agreement that they can end up with. But as statements coming out like Kerr saying things that he'd like to coach Giannis and Giannis going to their team, well something might be cook in the nearest future with these collaborations, transfers and trades.

It's not something new, he really look for teams that can bring him more championships in the future. No doubt that Bucks is still good, but some teams that won championship, it's hard to repeat and that's what the Bucks and Giannis experienced, they were not able to duplicate their success for multiple reasons.

So how can he achieved greatness if he just won one ring? Lakers, Spurs, and recently the Warriors are the teams that won multiple championship and some of the players, specially San Antonio Spurs have been recently inducted to the Basketball HOF.
Yeah, that could be the case and that's normal for most NBA stars that still can play and are still in the league. They want to take as many rings as they can. However, there have been stars that despite being on that title and position, they have never won a ring. But that's a different discussion.

If I were the General Manager of the Milwaukee Bucks, this trade would never happen even if Anthony Davis improves a lot from last season. As he is already known to be injury-prone, I would not invest in a player with a history of injuries like Anthony Davis. Giannis has had some injury issues in the past but they haven't been as like Anthony Davis is. I would consider accepting the trade if it included additional players like Austin Reaves not just Anthony Davis.
AD sure is an injury prone player but just like what Lakers did to him and preserved him on the playoffs, maybe that's being considered. But yes, the worth of money that will be put and traded on him won't be that much appreciated in that sense.
840  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Alfa Romeo F1 Team on: September 03, 2023, 08:31:37 PM
It alerted me when stake posted an announcement on their TG channel about the warning to be careful of those scams going out in many accounts on social medias so, I've come to this thread to check everything and good thing that there's already a discussion about it.
Those that are into these attractions should make themselves aware that stake is not affiliated with any of those and made their own announcement, so losing money from any of those scams is not a problem of theirs but the person who's gullible enough and didn't do his research with due diligence.
