841  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The most risky adventure you must avoid on: October 09, 2023, 03:14:38 AM
(....)
Many of the our millionaires and billionaires often times found themselves in such a situation and took a chance without calculating any risk, because that is how the big money is made without thinking toomuch about it.
The bottom line is to however always be prepared in any area of interest and wait for the right moment to take the risk.
I don't think so. You don't need to be like them, you already know it's not good and know what is good or better for you.
Still, I can do the right way or better way to become successful, small or big, it's already profits and success for me and I believe in the process, don't gamble.
Risk management is a must.
842  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Common mistakes by unskilled traders on: October 09, 2023, 02:59:50 AM
(....)
_ Not managing risk properly: this protect your capital, by using stop loss other, It minimize potential losses.
From what I can see, this is also a common issue of new trading. We can say they already know how to analyze, open a trade, exit, or stop a loss.
But without managing risk or no risk management, they are all useless. The important thing in trading is our trading capital, without it we can't trade that's why it is always better to preserve the capital, protect it at all cost, and here comes the risk management.
843  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: FTX Claim deadline Sept 29 2023 on: October 09, 2023, 02:56:33 AM
I am also curious about "proof" when I tried to file a claim, there's a part where you need to provide some proof (I don't know what proof is this) like maybe proof of your balance in the FTX Exchange before? Because they already have a way to do it, like right now you can see your balances in the FTX Claim website which is connected from Kroll also.
844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Governments Ban Cryptocurrency {Bitcoin} on: October 09, 2023, 02:52:54 AM
Quote
  • Bitcoin and cryptocurrency are banned in most countries, China, Russia and many more. Because the government is afraid of bitcoin

Government are not afraid of Bitcoin, the main reason other countries are banning cryptocurrency because they don't have control over the cyrptocurrency system and the government does not want to let decentralized project to take over their financial system.  Aside from that, many scam companies make use of crypto to scam their investors and the government saw it and wanted to prevent it from happening by banning cryptocurrency
(...)
Yep, most governments are just afraid of their people or the protection of the consumers. As we all know, a lot of tragedies are already happening in the cryptocurrency market where millions/billions have already been lost due to scam/hacking incidents or illicit activities.
845  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could Bitcoin Hit $1 Million by 2026? Arthur Hayes Makes Exciting Forecast on: October 09, 2023, 02:37:53 AM
People don't know btc price next month and somebody still talking about 2026 lol

Exactly, I'm already tired of all those promises and predictions. I prefer simply DCAing and not thinking too much about that.
It's just pure speculation, everyone can say random numbers about the future price of Bitcoin.
Especially these big influencers, they will use their positions or powers to pump their bags, this is normal, we usually experience this during bull market.
846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Centralization vs. Decentralization on: October 09, 2023, 02:34:36 AM
Being centralized and decentralized have pros and cons.

We can't hide the fact that there's a benefit of being centralized and decentralized depending on what people need.

Which side should we choose? I don't really care as long as I think it won't bring any harm on my part.
Yes, I agree with this, because there are some people that being too decentralize will make their life harder while on the other hand, being centralized is also not good for some other people. It's kinda annoying because there's no perfect at all.
But with Bitcoin is being decentralized, it's a good thing I can see because it solve most of the problem that we have on centralized entities.
847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be the biggest means of fulfilling dreams in the future. on: October 04, 2023, 01:38:19 AM
We really thinking about profits and investments in Bitcoin without understanding Bitcoin like how it will help our current financial system, for me it's not good and worth it.
Bitcoin is not working only with investment or dreams or getting rich, it's a long term process.
848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project devs really needs to focus more on making user interface easy to use on: October 04, 2023, 01:32:43 AM
For me as a software developer, it is easy to improve the user interface of each software, we just need a talented team to do it and priorities.
Because besides the user interface, there are other important things to do that I believe it is more important like security or more in the backend of each software, especially wallets.
Another thing to consider, developers in cryptocurrency market are still few, that's why you will see the demand is very high if you will start working in cryptocurrency projects.
849  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading purely based on luck. on: October 04, 2023, 01:27:14 AM
I don't see it as good for the long term, it is clearly said to be gambling.
I don't know also your basis on this is purely based on luck trading, like you have time on the day to open/close the trade? Or just a random time and just hit the open trade position button?
850  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitrage trading on: October 04, 2023, 01:23:26 AM
I don't think arbitrage trading is still profitable these days. But back in the day, a lot of people made good money by doing Arbitrage trading.
But take note that it's not easy money, some also lose money while doing Arbitrage trading.
I can say also these days, since we already have a lot of market, like these decentralized exchanges (DEX) on different chain network, these networks could be also good use when you are doing arbitrage trading.
851  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop discouraging people from Bitcoin... on: October 04, 2023, 01:17:52 AM
I have noticed something about some people in this forum...

Why is it that everytime a newbie shows his or her interest in trading Bitcoin, some people will always try to discourage the newbie?  You see them saying things like “Bitcoin trading is not for newbies”

None of us here was born a professional trader, fact is that we all had to start from somewhere. We were all once a newbie, until we started learning and putting in the work.
(....)
I believe it is just a normal piece of advice from the one who already experienced it, it's not really discouraging, it's up to you how you will accept that advice.
Sometimes this kind of advice will help you stronger and cautious because we all know trading is not a joke, it involves hard-earned money, so you need to protect it.
But since you have a goal, take those advice positively and continue with your goal to become  Bitcoin trader.
852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is this fascination with claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto? on: October 04, 2023, 01:11:25 AM
Well, first, I guess they're all crazy. You wouldn't claim to be somebody else if you are completely sane. That's something that's unreasonable.

Second, I can compare them with those who claim to be Jesus or some deity. A crazy person won't just claim to be his/her unknown neighbor. He/she will certainly claim to be somebody who is great and respected. In the case of CSW and this group, they're somehow exposed to the idea of Bitcoin and they're completely fascinated. It's not a wonder, therefore, when of all people they chose to be Satoshi Nakamoto.

Third, it also helps, of course, that Satoshi Nakamoto is anonymous. The real identity/identities behind the name is still unknown until now. In other words, it's available. Hence, their claim. They can't claim to be Hal or Nick or Wei Dei.
This is also what I am thinking, everyone is becoming crazy about the true Satoshi Nakamoto, it's becoming like Jesus Christ where most are mysteries, some are still thinking it's still a matter of knowing who is real Satoshi Nakamoto while some don't care anymore.
I'm the latter, because for me right now, I'm already happy on what Satoshi Nakamoto left us.
853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Few reasons why people are hesitant to buy or HODL bitcoin/Crypto on: October 03, 2023, 12:59:38 AM
(...)
1. Restrictions from the government and regulators who keep on threatening that they may ban bitcoin or crypto in general anytime, imposing an unjustly ridiculous tax on trading and withdrawal literally leaving us with loss even if we make a profitable trade. What if a situation arises wherein we cannot withdraw even if the value of bitcoin increases as it will be of no use.
(...)
You really got the top 3 reasons. But I have some additional on the first once. This reason, restrictions from governments and governments are one of the best reasons because we all know the benefits of using Bitcoin especially if you will use it to send money from someone in different counties, and another thing is using Bitcoin for mode of payment or use it like money  remittance, we all know the fees and transaction time when you send money to someone from different country.
854  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Notification that you should never click on: October 02, 2023, 01:59:12 AM
This kind of attack is very normal for most people even if it is not related to cryptocurrencies. I also saw some people posted in some community group on social media asking "what is this?" and yeah we answered that never clicked it, especially when he said that there was a file attached there.
So we conclude that is a malware attached where after you download and able to run to your computer, your computer will be compromised.
855  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is a 20% Annual Return good ? on: October 02, 2023, 01:56:52 AM
What some people consider as good return is to never lose a trade. Even if it is 1% and no loss, it is a good return. As for me, I will prefer at least 100% annual profit but it also depends on the amount of money that you put in it. The higher the money the lower you will want the risk to be and the more the lower the risks, the lower the return in percentage.
This is what is on my mind also.
You are already profitable here, especially if it is 20%, that's already a huge win. Just make sure to maintain it. If you manage to do it consistently, you can really be a profitable trader, you can just improve other things once you area already profiting this good amount, like increasing your capital, learning more different strategy or better risk management.
But  overall, that's already a win for me
856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is a code that allows PayPal to freeze your crypto assets. on: October 02, 2023, 01:51:02 AM
Just like any stablecoins, Paypal stablecoin can also be frozen.  This simply means that Paypal stablecoin is not different from existing stablecoin.  I just can't comprehend why companies are creating new stablecoins just to have the same features as the existing stablecoins.  This simply shows that these companies are just in for control and money. Hence, I do not find any reason why I will shift to their service when they are just offering the same deal as the others.
Agree, Paypal is just a new company that entered the cryptocurrency market, the stablecoin market this time the only different is Paypal is a big company, and OG is in the finance market on the internet. So for me, we already experienced this in most of stablecoins, centralized problem. I also believe that they have reasons why they are doing this.
857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You need to know your rank on Layer zero ? on: October 02, 2023, 01:42:26 AM
There has not even been an indication that there will be a Layer Zero airdrop. On the contrary to be honest, they have stated several times that there would not be any.
Exactly! These people who are hoping about Layer Zero airdrops are more likely doing some gambling, gambling their time, efforts, and money (used for gas).
Well, it's part of all the consequences or challenges if you are an airdrop hunter.
We still don't know if Layer Zero will be able to give airdrop to people.
858  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Halving cycle on: October 02, 2023, 01:38:18 AM
The most awaited event right now. If you really deep dive into the history of past Bitcoin block halvings, you will see that it clearly shows that the price of Bitcoin will be somehow above the lows months before the block halvings. As months before the Bitcoin block halvings is the best time to accumulate Bitcoin, just my 2 cents.
If halving's going to bring prices above low from months before it happened there isn't an indication it's going to lead to bull run. Halving's are turbulent as much as they're gold mines for profits. It's a dangerous time for newbies to buy.
(.....)
Of course, this is normal, anytime with Bitcoin block halving or without, it is always a risk to buy Bitcoin because no one knows what's next move of Bitcoin, just be responsible and expect for unexpected. These speculation I said is because of the past Bitcoin block halvings, I just use the history to come up with this.
859  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Spot trading or future trading which trading is best for beginers? on: October 02, 2023, 01:35:36 AM
I advise you to begin with spot trading if you are new to trading cryptocurrencies. Most newbies I believe started from spot trading, just like me, a few years ago.

You can then think about transitioning to futures trading once you have a better understanding of the market and how it functions. Master first or familiarize how trading works then you can start doing futures trading with very little leverage.
Yes. This is it. Spot trading is always the best move for newbies. No fear of getting liquidated and will have enough time to know what's happening in the market. Some even leverage some elite traders' trading skills mostly when they go online or just imitate them from copy trading as most exchanges are now showing off every trader's trading history for everyone to see
But just don't forget basic risk management even if you are doing spot trading. Risk management will help you to protect your capital, so you will start to use risk: reward ration (how much are you willing to risk per trade), using stop losses, and putting a target price or goal everytime you do trade. With these, it will help you to become successful trader even in spot trading.
860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any Tron exchange where you can pay fees in token you are swapping from? on: October 02, 2023, 01:33:53 AM
If your fund is already in an exchange, better to do it in exchange, but make sure the exchange you will use has good liquidity or volume so you will get the best price.
We all know tron network offers very low transaction fees even you will do it in some exchanges like transferring your asset between exchanges, it will really help.

Funds were in my account, I was trying to use dex.
With using Tron network, you really need Tron cryptocurrency here if you will use Decentralized Exchange (DEX), even just a little Tron just to initiate your swap.
You can use centralized exchange or try to search for some faucet in the Tron network (just incase there is any) or ask some community or your friends just to initiate the swap to your swap to Tron.
I already experienced this before, I just asked to some of my friends and he gave me a very little.
