1841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why these coins never touch previous ATH on: November 05, 2022, 12:09:25 PM
Many altcoins will face the same demise as time goes on, I am not surprised as many crypto projects are built only on hypes, after the hype is no more the team will become weaker, they will fail to bring new updates into their development and big investors will start losing interest.
(....)
In short, most altcoins are scams, pure hype only. They are only good at the beginning and after they already have the money of people they will start to dump and slowly vanish.
As you can notice, every bear market, a lot of altcoins are being wiped to the market, most of them are already lost above 90% from their original ATH and some of them will not able to recover even the bull market will start or new all-time high of Bitcoin is created.
1842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Doge coin of fire, the master is now on the throne on: November 05, 2022, 03:01:15 AM
(....)
Do you think the bull is from the increase of bitcoin to $20k or because Elon musk is on the tweeter throne. What is our thoughts ?
For me, In Dogecoin, Yes. It was a small pump. But for Bitcoin, it's nothing to do with Twitter and Elon Musk.
As you remember before, every time Elon Musk tweets about Dogecoin, we see pumps, so it's still the same. It just adds up that Elon Musk already bought Twitter. So, I believe there are still lot of coming like this.
1843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Sentiment Poll for November on: November 05, 2022, 02:51:21 AM
I really have strong guts because we also need to consider the Bitcoin block halving will happen in the year 2024, so within 1 year, there are still a lot of things to happen.
But if Ethereum will manage to hold above $1,000 then the bottom is already in for me, because the bottom in the year 2022 is the top of 2018 when bear market started that time.
1844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can FTX Token Beat Its All-time High Of $100? on: November 05, 2022, 02:45:51 AM
I remember the days when I have a lot of BNB and convert it to FTT (FTX token). But it's ok, I already moved on, and speaking of FTT's all-time-high price. I also experienced it it was during the all-time high price of Bitcoin.
So for me, regarding about all-time high price, yes, we can still reach $100 as long as FTX Exchange is still operating on the time of the Bitcoin will create new all-time high.
1845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why i believe in bitcoin!! An amateur's outlook. on: November 05, 2022, 01:37:33 AM
OP from your point of view I can see that you cherish Bitcoin and you are also a good investor for you to invest on Bitcoin for a decade. You will reap from the fruit of your labour because its a long term investment but I hope you don't get discouraged later to sell your Bitcoin Holdings.
(....)
That's why people like OP is the one must be a model to other people too especially for that user who are just starting to explore or to introduced to Bitcoin.
Common problem right now with people that starting to introduced with Bitcoin are they are just here because of investment, they even don't know how Bitcoin works, because on their mind is only money and greed. We cannot blame them, but I'm just saying that it is not a good practice.
1846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: investment in bitcoin should be short term or long term. on: November 05, 2022, 01:30:27 AM
Whatever happens, don't think about short-term investments. Anyway, the logic of the word investment, in my opinion, requires it to be for a long time. You should think this way not only for bitcoin, but also for other coins. In fact, not only for crypto coins, you should make all your other investments according to this logic. Take the amount you can out of sight from the money in your safe and completely forget about it after investing. You will have achieved good results in the future  Wink
Bitcoin is a good investment for long term and nothing else.
(....)
It still depends, when you say long term, how long it is, how many years/months?
There are also some people who are just lucky when they start to invest with Bitcoin and Bitcoin started to pump, they don't wait such a long time and they decided to take profits. But it still depends. I am not telling long term is not good, because that is what I am doing now. I'm a long term believer and investor of Bitcoin.
1847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Satoshi Needs to Reveal His Identity ? on: November 05, 2022, 01:27:37 AM
(....)
I am so much confused regarding matter. So I think, it would be better to arrange a concensus about the identity of the Bitcoin and Blockchain inventor. The members of this forum can vote for themselves and it will be helpful for Satoshi Nakamoto to make a correct discussion.

What is your opinion ?
There's no point at all. Even majority wants to know who really Satoshi Nakamoto is, we still can't. Some people already tried to get the identification of Satoshi Nakamoto or even the government already tried, but they fail, they really can't identify who really Satoshi Nakamoto even there are lot of people already claiming that they are Satoshi Nakamoto but failed.
1848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your reason for investing in NFT? on: November 05, 2022, 01:22:37 AM
Share with me your story and the reasons why you switched from crypto investing to nft? 🙂
What was the reason behind it? And what was interesting about it? 😉
I didn't totally switch from cryptocurrency investing to NFT. But I just owned some NFT. There are a lot of reasons why I owned NFT, one is because I want to support innovation, these technologies are amazing every day we have a lot of things being discovered, and with this new trend which is NFT, I believe there will be a future on it, especially we are just started to explore, it's like we always using internet on our day to day lives.
1849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which has better odds, lottery, online gambling, or sports betting? on: November 01, 2022, 11:29:26 PM
Sportsbetting is the best, if you are good. Pretty bad if you're bad.
(....)
For me, it will still depend based on the teams or players or sides you are betting on sports betting. There is some game on sports betting that the odds are really not better and not worth betting on.
All of these are considered gambling, but for me, we can adjust the risk here, because let's say you are in the lottery, low risk but a high reward (difficult to win). Compared with sports betting which most of the time there are 2 players and you only select one winner but low reward (based on odds).
1850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do online casinos disadvantage some locations from winning big on: November 01, 2022, 11:26:44 PM
You know how casinos have set certain slots to only pay a certain amount to a winner, it it also possible that casinos are using an algorithm to limit how much it can payout for players coming from certain locations to avoid being dragged into legal disputes if a player is paid big money and the local authorities want to know the source and the alike?
Wow. This is my first time hearing about this. They must put it on their Terms of Services (TOS). But if ever this is true, this is a big L for most online casinos.
But I don't think there are some issues with this if the customer is following their Terms Of Services (TOS). If customers agreed about doing some compliance process, they can do it. I believe these online casinos already have trigger or warning for some customers that will withdraw a huge amount off from their platform.
1851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An alternative notion of altcoin on: November 01, 2022, 11:22:09 PM
I propose that an altruistic coin is one whose emission doesn't favor its creators or early adopters.
It should favor the late adopters.
(....)
I don't find any difference here. Altcoin as an Alternative Coin is ok for me because it that becomes common among all of the people in the cryptocurrency market. And even if we will say there will be a change of name but they are still have the same function, no sense at all in changing it.
Even me, I can consider me as not early adopters but hearing and being involved with "altcoins", I don't find any issue about its name.
1852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question concerning Crypto.com and CRO on: November 01, 2022, 11:16:08 PM
Other so-called Ethereum alternative already lot of issues about centralization, this Crypto.com and CRO network is almost the same with other chains that created before that said to be alternative for Ethereum network, one best example is Binance Scam Chain (BSC) which is a copy-paste project based on Ethereum, there are lot of issues right now about these different chains that created.
1853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which play to earn and Metaverse project do you think will dominate in future on: November 01, 2022, 11:11:15 PM
Between Axie Infinity, Yield Guild Games and Apecoin which one do you think it's worth buying for long term hold? Also if you are ask to name your one to five play to earn with the metaverse project which ones will you pick?
Play to earn projects that are in Solana. We all know that Solana is one of the best top performers last year and we saw huge TVL in this chain alone I believe this is an alternative layer 1 network for Ethereum and we already saw a lot of projects started on Solana or migrated.
Best play to earn project or metaverse in Solana is Star Atlas.
1854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogelon Mars. on: November 01, 2022, 11:08:15 PM
Why not stick with Dogecoin itself? Even though there are a lot of meme coins out there, we all know that Dogecoin is the king, the original one, and other meme coins out there are just impostors of Dogecoin.
So for me, Dogecoin is the Bitcoin in the meme coins world, which these new meme coins that popping are just hype and will vanish afterward.
1855  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for November on: November 01, 2022, 11:03:28 PM
The pump during the last few days of October is convincing that we will see a good upward run for the market this month (November) and I am very positive that we will also experience it until the end of the year, I'm just hoping.
The $20,000 level right is really significant because as we saw this was the top of the 2017-2018 bull run, then for me, this will be the strong support right now for a long-term perspective.
1856  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will Fed take tomorrow? on: November 01, 2022, 10:54:41 PM
There are a lot of rumors that they will increase it but why the price of the U.S. dollar is decreasing somehow? Maybe just a correct before another leg up?
And also consider that most of bonds are dumping and stocks and crypto are pumping, so I believe there's something to do about the decision of the FED about increasing/decreasing the interest rate.
1857  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - How high can it go? on: November 01, 2022, 10:52:24 PM
There's nothing wrong about the target or expected price of OP, those numbers are always possible because for example from $1 to $69,000(all-time high) of Bitcoin happened so, I believe that $100,000 and above is still possible but it will take time, it will not happen in just a short period of time, I want also to make it happen in a healthy way.
1858  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin may drop to $15k or so but it'll definitely hit $300k+ in coming years on: November 01, 2022, 10:45:45 PM
(....)
In all such occasion the price speculation need to coincide with the real market situation than imaginary. In such stance $100k seems to be realistic and $300k+ looks imaginary.
For me, the $300,000 is very possible for Bitcoin but I am not expecting it to happen within 10 years from now. The cryptocurrency market is growing every day no matter how much the cryptocurrency market cap is lost during a bear market, it's part of the market.
If from $1 to $10,000 to all-time high price around $69,000 then for me, the $100,000 up to $300,000 is still possible for Bitcoin.
1859  Economy / Speculation / Re: So are bond traders right… or is this time different? on: November 01, 2022, 10:32:12 PM
This could be because of the rumors about increasing interest rates. So that's why we see some dumps on the bonds. But I disagree with @Tytanowy Janusz because the pump is a pump, that ~6% is already huge if you are in the stock market, and the volume there is massive versus in cryptocurrency market cap. For me, this is healthy pump because we also saw that cryptocurrency market experienced it too.
1860  Economy / Speculation / Re: The real bottom is yet to come of BTC on: November 01, 2022, 10:20:39 PM

There will be more bottom ready. 13000-10000$ range is the golden. Lets DCA after 15K

With the current market trend I believe DCA will be hard to implement now. The current market rise is not surprising considering how the bitcoin market fairs during the end of the year. But there are more experts who will still find a way round it.
(....)
Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) is always possible this time, take note that we are still -70% from the all-time high of Bitcoin, and for me, Dollar Cost Averaging during these price levels is still possible and worth it. Because for example recently we just had a hard time to get back again to above $20,000 and few months before we already experienced a lot of time to always falling down below $20,000. So even if you are buying on every dump below $20,000 it's good.
