What a game by the Bears last night!  Don't get me wrong, I know they aren't all of a sudden some great team, but the progress of Justin Fields has looked very real over these past two games.  I mean he looks like a different quarterback all together.  I've always maintained that he has the skill set to be great, he just needed to put it all together.

I give them props for a more aggressive offensive strategy, and can't wait to see how this plays out over the rest of the year.

I'm banking on Chicago winning more games than the giants if you know what I mean Smiley  now I need the panthers and Cardinals to win a couple.

And Taylor back on the field with a fresh new contract.  I wonder how quickly they are gonna bump Zach moss and give him the keys to the backfield.  I need jt to be good badly lol.  My team has shit the bed so far

There is absolutely zero chance that USA would lose in the Olympics, and that's basically the whole point of it. There are other nations that keep on talking about "champions of world lol" type of things because USA sent their low value players and because of that they think that they could actually beat USA nad be better than American players.

Now that players like Lebron, Curry, Booker and all that (I think durant too) coming, and even making Embiid an American just for this, which is a big deal if you ask me, then we are going to see the real domination. I am sensing that there will be something silly for this tournament, like we may actually end up seeing like a 40 point difference just on the finals, it is going to be a show for them not a game. It is going to be basically generals vs globetrotters all tournament long, nobody could even get within 10 points of them.

I wouldn't go that far.  In years past like back with the dream team yes.  The world has caught up with the US.  While I think they would win it with their top players it's not that they would win in the finals by 40 against another top nation.

The 1992 dream team with Jordan, magic, ewing, malone, etc etc only won by 32 in the finals and that's when the US really dominated basketball.
843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons you should not gamble on too many things at once. on: October 07, 2023, 09:20:03 PM
Those are pretty obvious in terms of spending more money spending more time.  But the one reason I don't like betting too many things because you tend to not prepare or look up everything you need to, to make the best decision.  More just gut feelings which tend to lead to much more losses, at least for me it does.

Coco Gauff is going to face Swiatek in her next match. Sakkari was unable to win the match against Coco. Which I think a lot of people did not expect. But in this match, I will say that Coco might not be able to win. I have a feeling that this match is going to be very competitive. And I have said this time and time again that women’s tennis matches are really hard to predict. Anyone can actually end up performing badly on any given day. I won't say that someone has a clear advantage over the other.
Gauff is brimming with confidence, From winning a GS, and knowing she has not lost a game in her last sixteen appearance. Swiatek is a bigger opponent to her, but since she does well with people not believing in her and her abilities, It will not be a surprise to see her win that game too and book her place in the finals of the China Open. Swiatek should be the one not to underestimate Gauff because she has defeated her seven times before and lost only once in the eight times they have played against each other. In this their ninth meeting, Gauff can make it the second time she will defeat Swiatek.

Sucks it's on at 2:30 in the morning here on the east coast in the states I really wanted to see this one live.  Not a huge tennis fan but I enjoy watching up and comers when they seem like they are hitting theor potential.  Gruff has had a difficult time with swiatek and seems like this one will be more evenly matched.  Good thing for dvrs!

Everyone excited for this huge primetime game of my Chicago Bears versus the Washington Commanders  Cheesy.  I mean talk about a snooze fest.  The only reason it's kind of exciting for me is because at this point I'm rooting hardcore for losses, that way we've got a chance at Caleb Williams next year.  If the season ended today, the Bears would have both the #1 and #2 picks (we got Carolinas #1 pick for next year in the trade for this past years #1 pick).

I shall gamble on the game though to make it more fun.  Not sure how yet though.

I know the giants have one win but they are going to give the bears a fighting chance for that #1 spot lol.  There are always a couple fluke games one way or another.  If the giants landed there they'd have to trade the pick for a haul of picks and players.  They just paid $160mil to jones no way they can get out from under that contract.

Maybe one of these years NY teams will smarten up and build a line.

Honestly in the last 4 years the giants spent more 1st through 3rd round picks in the draft than any other team.  They paid nate solder from the Patriots who flopped, it's just unbelievable how much they swing and miss.  Theor line has been brutal ever since the 2007 and 2011 SB years.  They actually just sign Justin Pugh to their practice squad who they drafted in the 1st back in 2013 lol.  It's bad..

Well somebody bet way more than they were willing to lose.  This is the issue with gambling when done in an out of control environment.  If ypu are begging and pleading to win the money you shouldn't be betting.  It should be entertainment not a form of trying to pay important bills
848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 05, 2023, 08:40:59 PM
So maybe just the rest of the NBA, after their dismal performance in FIBA's competition recently in Manila, high caliber athletes are eager to don the US Jersey this coming Olympics and represent Team USA and extract their revenge and win the Gold medal to show US supremacy again in basketball. But I guess the game really evolved as there are a lot of non-American in the NBA right now. So they need to bring in their best player and it might include Joel.
AFAIK, Lebron James, Kevin Durant and Steph Curry have already expressed that they are committed in playing for the US' national team on Olympics. Now this gets more serious. While Joel Embiid is being asked by three national teams.

After that humiliating lost? Yes, James and company expressed their willingness to the next Olympics to carry Team USA. Not sure if he is being asked by Cameroon or France, but he shows his interest on playing with the US. So it was Joel who approach first just to be fair with USA.

But if I am him, this is a tough thing. He'll be the hero on Cameroon even if they're not going to get into Olympics and fall with the qualifiers.

And if he wants likely high chance of winning the Olympics, he'll choose to go along with the team USA. He's got a few days left for the deadline of his decision.

Just go with Cameroon, that's his birth country, there's nothing great as a player representing your own team in the Olympics. And there are even those who are born somewhere else and yet they wanted to represent their true nationality.

It has nothing to do with any type of loss in the FIBA tournament.  It's just that the US NBA players don't consider that a tournament that they want to play in every year.  The Olympics is a whole other tournament in itself.  Kids dream of representing their country in the Olympics, I bet most kids don't even know what the FIBA tournament is.

Lol this is a broad subject.  Well since this is in altcoin discussion I will reply as to the future of altcoins.  They will be niche needed in our market and be useful as a testbed for future bitcoin requirements.  Things like game based coins used on a certain platform might be useful as well.  Otherwise bitcoin should stand out loud and proud getting more and more use

Looking at 0-4 staring right at me, my ff season might be over before Halloween!  Wierd how some leagues ypu lead and others ypu can't squeeze out a single win lol.  Big night for the giants they can't fall to 1-3 to start the year if they want a shot at the end.  Gonna be a close game buy giants missing Andrew Thomas still which hurts since their line is probably the worst in the league.

Dude tell me about it. In this league I had a squad but losing Chubb obviously crushed me, then when Aaron Rodgers went down, that completely destroyed Garrett Wilson's value for the rest of the season.  I dropped 120+ points this week, but of course I play against the team that dropped 170 something, which is just insane.

Man, Breece Hall last year, Chubb this year..the fantasy god's aren't with lol

Yeah injuries are brutal, especially when they are your top picks.  I was targeting Wilson as well, was thinking he was going to get devote adams type targets every week.  When Rodgers likes a wide out he sticks em.  I have no excuse my team just sucks 😅
851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 04, 2023, 08:08:30 PM
Jimmy Butler was 100% joking with his haircut and outfit. It’s hardcore trolling to say otherwise…

Looks like the tea is coming out on why James Harden is so mad. When he went in for his contract negotiations they were going to offer him a max deal, but Harden expressed interest in winning the scoring title, at which point the max deal was then never offered and they let him know that isn’t the direction the team wants to go. So Harden is holding out because he wants to average 30 a game.

Sounds about right.  And if that's true that's the last serious team he will be on.  What contender is going to want someone who will sacrifice a game for his stats.  And vice versa if he is on a rebuilding team why would you want a ball hog who will slow down development of the team.  Dude should have just kept his head down.
852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pillow Fight League on: October 04, 2023, 08:06:11 PM
Lol they can turn anything into a sport.  Do I think there will be lines on this?  Possibly.  The problem with putting lines on things like this is the ease at which it can be manipulated once big money comes in.  But on a small scale I've seen wielder "sports" that lines were against.

Woj is reporting that while James Harden hasn’t been to training camp for the Philadelphia 76ers yet, they are expecting him to report tomorrow. Woj is usually right on so I’m expecting that to happen. It appears Harden has blinked first in his fued with his GM and might be in a Sixers uniform to start off the season after all.

Seen that too and expected him to return I mean what is he going to do really sit out for the year if they don't trade him.  Should be interesting how this all plays out.  Who knows maybe some behind the scenes conversation about showing up putting in the work to raise his trade value and he will get traded.  By sitting out you kind of take the leverage away from the team you are on.
854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which games offer the best chance of a big win? on: October 03, 2023, 09:26:10 PM
Let's settle this! Based on your experience which game is more likely to bring a big win - slots, table games or crypto games?

On one hand, I know slots bring in large X's, but it is quite rare and you have to be really lucky. On the other hand, I saw people get massive multipliers on crypto games like Crash after a couple of minutes of playing. So which is it?

It's all based on risk, the lower risk the lower reward, the higher the risk (slots) the higher chance for reward but also the higher chance to bust out.  If ypu are looking to have fun but want a chance at a big pot slots or some sort of lottery is the way to go.
855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to play Poker with bitcoin and altcoins? on: October 03, 2023, 09:24:40 PM
The popular poker website that I know is Swcpoker. Before the domain was swcpoker.EU but it has changed to a new domain every time you pay a visit to them and it has become:

Quote
swcpoker.club

But it looks like they've been off logging on to their account for several months and there has been some bad experience on their thread a few months ago.

Yeah SWC had a solid software but it also feels a little sketchy at times.
There are several accounts that literally NEVER lose, even though they have no real strategy. Just raise and play every hand and in allin situations ALWAYS get there.
These accounts are mostly sitting on 1v1 heads-up tables, so they are easy to spot.

Also the player base is tiny so it’s tough at times to find good games Sad . Even weekends there aren’t more than 200 players online, and only a few actually play. Rest is just chatting about drugs and other nonsense. Many of the players are weak though.  Grin
Your btc get directly converted into chips. 1btc is 1 million chips. Limits range from 1/2 2/4 5/10 ……. up to for example 1000/2000 chips at cashgames. Very limited offer on tournaments though, don’t even expect sng games.

Another good way to deposit / withdraw with crypto is for example in the gg poker network at sites like ggpoker or natural8. Coins get converted I to $ though and when withdrawing from $ in btc/usdt/usdc .
But there you have a huge player base and many tournaments and tables running every day.

At nitrobetting, formerly know as nitrogen sports, you can also play poker but I strongly advise not to. There people are colluding, you are playing bots and other dirt. Safe yourself the disappointment.

I have a feeling most smaller poker sites are like this.  I'd be hard pressed to play poker for serious money after all the scams that have been found over the years.  Not saying they are but I've noticed the same in that some accounts play "terrible" but always make the right call and it's not style of play.
856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crawford vs Canelo-Charlo winner (no date yet) on: October 03, 2023, 04:36:21 PM

Was he ducking Charlo?

These are the top p4p on the list. This should be the biggest fight in 2024 if it does happen.
Crawford hasn't tried going up for a long time to challenge himself in achieving new in the upper division, unlike Canelo who struggles to reach the top. Crawford though is undefeated that why he is still the no 1.  It is time for him to climb up, no one else is interested in fighting him on 147.

Sliding up in weight too quick isn't always the best thing to do.  Didn't he just climb a weight class just recently?  I know Crawford has said he wants to take on pretty much anyone in any class it seems now lol but it might be all talk.  If he does amd that fight comes together I'm booking that ppv would be fight of the year candidate like ypu said.

One of the latest studies conducted regarding the NFT market found that 95% of NFT collections have a market capitalization of 0.

The unveiled reality of the NFT market: 95% of NFTs have a market cap of zero

The bearish market has been affecting the whole crypto industry downside, but regards NFT niche, it has been worst. Almost all NFTs have a market cap of zero, meaning investors and adopters have completely lost interest for them after so much hype and excitment we saw during the year of 2021.

Does it mean NFT is a scam sector of crypto market, or is their concept good, but the execution of the projects are wrecking everything? Is it still possible for NFTs to recover their credibility?

They are pretty much all cash grabs, let them all sink and reset the market.  There was so much stupid money pouring in, it attracted a bunch of scammers.  People got greedy and the bottom fell out.  Just like with altcoins that get dropped in a bear market these "projects" will likely never come back.
858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble till old age or not on: October 02, 2023, 07:58:06 PM
I think I will end up gambling more when I get older.  As ypu have less and less financial liabilities more free money opens up and time.  As you get older ypu have more and more free time on your hands.  It is a good form of "competition" as long as you play within your means.

James Harden skipped media day… The 76ers are finding themselves in quite a bind. Will Harden sit out the season? I can’t recall a playing having done that before over contract disputes. Maybe Pippen with his surgery right before the season…

EDIT:
MrBeast sponsoring the Charlotte Hornets is wild…

I can't remember a contract holdout because someone wanted to trade.  You watch him get blackmailed right out of basketball.  Owners aren't going to want to sign this dude up to a contract.  He better be careful on how he proceeds to a certain degree I think these owners have a gentleman's agreement of some sort for these types of things so it doesn't become the norm.
