Many factor can make a 0.39% change in your performance ... a few more rejects shares, a few packets lost , some stale shares, few more hardware errors
There is absolutely nothing to be worried about this small lost in performance over time.

You can disable the loop in the Settings => ASICS Control Panel
It means the loop 9 is having some issue.
You can disable one ASIC at the time to find out which one(s) is/are having issues.

Sooooo ... after two months ... no Y cables and got refunds ... anyone have a place where I can get them for real ?
I had a virtually identical experience with the Ebay China vendor for Y-cables. Two months of no news, finally a week after the maximum delivery date, and then they refunded promptly. Lost two months, and no money. I would rather pay a little more and actually receive a product. Also going to put in a couple of Terahash hours for the cause this evening. Hoping for a block! I bought from this guy; http://www.ebay.ca/itm/221661361513And i received them, not quick at all but within limit which was ~ 1 month. I bought from the same guy ... never got them

Wasn't there a guy running a long-term betting site? You could bet on BTC price/difficulty at some point in the future... I swear I remember that. Would be kind of fun... the long-term speculation thread. Where do you think difficulty and price will be by year end? By the end of Q1 next year? Predict the date/time of the halving... all kinds of fun things you can speculate and bet on . yeah when diff jumps used to be 10% or more I guy would piggyback on my thread a bit. but when diff jumps got lower he stopped as over under was too easy. I know I knocked heads with op with diff on my threads last week but in a calmer moment I went back and read everything we said. I decided I was wrong and misread him. I think his point is peak numbers have more meaning then you may believe and once a peak is hit the network will reach that as a norm in the future. He could be correct and maybe his 606 hashmark or around 92 diff will come faster then I would have thought. If you only look at the last 6 block, it doesn't represent the reality at all, it may be variance or it may be gear. As for now, we are pushing new gear into the network but saying out loud we just it 660 Peta is pretty much a very long shot to be 100% sure someone just throw 200 peta into the network and doesn't keep it online for x reasons. It's like looking one feet away from you to predict the future ... He may be right, but it's a long long long shot. He should solo mine ;-)

bitcoinwisdom is highly influence by the last difficulty. Since the last one was a big jump, his estimate is pretty much wrong. It'll correct himself unless someone throw a ton of hashrate again.

any release date on Crazy's firmware for the community ?
|
|
|
It's been pretty much the same drop at the end of almost every diff since a few months back ... the last 2-3 days .... we see a big drop in hashrate.

There will be a brief blip in mining while the pool is restarted for some minor updates. Most of you should not fail over or notice any interruption to mining unless you're looking at your cgminer console.
Restart complete, apologies as there was about 10 seconds of downtime so most of you would have failed over temporarily. Check your stats for some of the latest changes. I noticed one change in Status: "bestever" . Thank you Indeed, nice stats !

Hey guys,
I need some advices with a S5 that I bought with some damage.
First, I got one blade that have a short (PSU won't start if plugged in and with both PCI-E) and I will probably remove the heatsink and have a look at the thermal paste to see if it's the problem (has I red on a link posted somewhere here to an external site to do so)
Then my other blade does hash most of the time. I managed to make it hash one time at 100M then I manage to push it to 250M but i had 3x (first 3 of the chain) then I rebooted and it doesn't hash anymore at any freq I set.
I tried the lastest S5 firmware and now using Nicehash (just because i wanted to be sure it's not the firmware) which bring me a question. Do we have any firmware that allow us to set the fan Freq + stop the beeper. I couldn't find a firmware that do both at the same time.
I tested with a PSU that is not single rail (I will try a single rail tonight) but my guess is that this blade is about to die and doesn't respond very well to his power input.
Any inputs appreciated !
Thanks
Herb
EDIT: Figured out the rest
