901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: God of gambling is just on the movies on: August 03, 2017, 07:25:40 PM
The gambler that can always be winning in every gambling games is just on movies, i don't see on real life  Cheesy
No one needs anyone to tell that movies are far more different than real life that you don't just go on winning at all times even the most simplest game, you don't win all the time but at the same time there are some genius when it comes to card reading in gambling  especially in casinos they will always win but this is 1 person in say 1 million people around the world.
902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is it normal for a btc book to have a withdrawal fee on: August 03, 2017, 06:57:19 PM
There is a fixed withdrawal fee of 0.006 at cloudbet. is this normal?

Even though, I feel its normal for them to charge some amount as withdrawal fee, but keeping it constant irrespective of the amount being withdrawn is my concern which means someone withdrawing 25$ worth of btc and another withdrawing 100$ worth will still pay the same thing, is not fair from my point to view rather a flexible one as well as the option of whether to go the fast track of paying the fee or the free one of waiting longer.
903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin cash? More like bitcoin crash! on: August 03, 2017, 04:29:30 PM
Grin Grin Grin

Everyone is just claiming their BCH and trading into BTC lol  Grin

Lol... But the issue is not everyone is doing that because I am not sure if deposit has been activated on major exchange site and even the exchange site supporting the coin needs to be very careful on not to drag their name into the mud if they are unable to meet the demand for BTC in the case of dumping by users in a massive way. However, I feel this is what is expected at first and there is no need to make mockery of the whole process at this time. Let the future decide for that.
904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BCH difficulty dropped to 1/4 on: August 03, 2017, 03:38:50 PM
yeah it's over valued now, but i don't think it will die or something like many believe, it's also possible that this fork can be good in the future with another pump to 0.3, just look at eth classic, same thing

I quite agree with you on this but at first the moment the market open, I see a lot of dumping of BCH for people waiting to cash on the freebies but as time goes on, it gets to stabilize but this will be due to the forces behind it, ready to still offer its support through regular updates and pumps to keep it in the news or else, its gone into the winds. After a while when the dusts settle, I see a gradual improvement but never do I see it overcoming bitcoin.
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash is Cancer. on: August 03, 2017, 02:55:35 PM
NOTHNG good long term can come of BCC. I don't care, dump it, pump it do what the fuck you want with it but in the end get that shit out of here.

1. Bitcoin doesn't need to scale it's never was going to be a settlement medium. It's a store of wealth and the backbone of the decentralised crypto currency world. It's not fucking VISA.

2. We have plenty of other alts that can serve as payment chains.

3. BCC undermines in the eyes and minds of many people the idea of Bitcoin and so the whole community crypto currency will long term suffer if we don't just dump this shit and treat it for what it is a shitcoin scam. If it stays around then newbies will start thinking it's better than Bitcoin and we will upend Bitcoin and crypto.

4. If we continue with this coin the. The small gains people got from BCC will dwarf the amounts lost over time from potential BTC and alt rises.

If someone wanted to kill the idea of Bitcoin then I can't think of anything better than keep making Bitcoin chains till no one takes any of it seriously. We all lose...

One unique thing about the crypto world is that we are not under compulsion to agree to a particular cause of action and that's what is the basis of your argument while some people feels BCC is a way to tackle the challenge that was faced, others are of the opinion that its a futile exercise which is the school you belong to. Unfortunately, you are not the determinant of whether it will succeed or not neither can you control who to use it or not. The future of BCC is in the collective hands of everyone involved with bitcoin.
906  Economy / Economics / Re: Investments outside crypto on: August 03, 2017, 01:54:21 PM
In this current day, I would choose to avoid anything digital if I am going outside crypto whether gold or crude oil or even silver that I cannot see physically. I would prefer to go into trading in which the currency of transaction will be Fiat and nothing else. This will save the stress of having to look for a middleman to get the transaction done. With the remainder if I have enough, I can then go into Money market with reputable firms in the industry.

908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SNC] SunContract - Decentralized Energy Market TOKEN SALE IS LIVE NOW!!!! on: August 03, 2017, 09:32:31 AM
What a silence. You can here grass grow 😁

I thought the same thing. After end of ico there was just silence from devs. Not very encouraging.

What is needed at this time is proper update after an ICO if possible on a daily basis because that would increase the confidence of people in the project both the investors who have part away with their money and also the critics who are waiting that the project should fail and claiming its another one of those ICOs will be disappointed. I think that's a key thing that the admin manager needs to keep up with at this time without any lax in discharging such duty.
909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin survive? on: August 02, 2017, 09:05:19 PM
After there is a BCC can the bitcoin survive or bitcoin will be much more up the price after this
What do you think about this?

There are several challenges that have been surmounted by bitcoin and there will still be more to be surmounted even more than what has been done on the past but one thing I know that is constant is the fact that bitcoin will continue to survive irrespective of the situation. The one that happened yesterday is a testimony to that. So, anyone who wants to lose hope early should have a rethink as we are not going down yet. Not today and not anytime soon.
910  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best way to make money with bitcoin in 2017? on: August 02, 2017, 06:03:24 PM
The shortest way I can think of now is the route of ICOs but reputable ones though because with that you are sure to make some profit even without holding long term by merely buying in early, you are sure to get some bonus which could turn into something big by the time the ICO is over. With that repeating itself several times in the month or even months you are sure to make decent money but buying right is the key as it does not happen by default.
911  Economy / Economics / Re: The Feds Are Terrified Of Cryptocurrencies... But They're Powerless To Stop Them on: August 02, 2017, 02:50:01 PM
I wont say they are terrified because they can actually stop it when taken to an extreme length but the issue is at what costs exactly are they willing to go? I am sure Satoshi does not create this to limit the basic function of government which means for government to meet that function, it needs to be able to generate revenue and that is why although government cannot stop crypto-currency but they can frustrate its penetration by ensuring that exchanges are made to face extreme conditions and also tax them to death which will fall back on us.
912  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you agree in death penalty? on: August 02, 2017, 02:13:24 PM
Not everyone deserves a second chance depending on the level of crime committed. For someone who kills another individual due to error or self-defence, then that deserves a second chance but not for someone who willingly commits the crime to kill or someone who kidnaps another individual for ransom then later kill after collecting such ransom that does not deserves not even a minor chance to talk of second chance.
913  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Your opinion on recreational drug use on: August 02, 2017, 01:06:30 PM
When it comes to recreational use in which I dont have any issues with but the concern is, how will government will be able to regulate that? Because even as at now where I stay and its illegal, there are several people using it especially youths who are fond of Marijuana and quite a number of them have been wasted due to what it caused to their body. I wonder what the country will turn to the moment its now being legalized in the barest minimum, I see large percentage of the youth being wasted away by this social menace.
914  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who will win WW3? on: August 02, 2017, 12:21:01 PM
I doubt if there will be anyone left after the World War 3 to claim victory when we dont even know if the whole of mankind will be eradicated as a result of this. In this war, one does not need to be a soldier to become a casualty because right from your room you will be affected. Oh the only set that would survive are the one who built atomic bunkers so they all come out and see the wreckage of the war their greed and non-ability to compromise have led them to do.
915  Economy / Economics / Re: War on cash in the EU : very bullish for BTC on: July 31, 2017, 06:52:53 AM
The EU is trying to limit the cash payments to control the EU citizens and tax more easily and broadly. The pretext for the limits will be to fight crime.

http://wolfstreet.com/2017/01/28/europe-limits-on-cash-transactions-war-on-cash/

BTC could become the new cash as cash is slowly banned.

Government of every nation is trying as much as possible to reduce the influence of cash and they are succeeding at it. They hide under the control of inflation, checking of crime among other reasons but the real truth is to ensure that citizens are taxed and no one is outside the tax net which cash makes possible. However. I don't see how bitcoin will replace such in the EU because it will only replace cash if the merchant or dealers accept it as a form of payment which is currently not the case and keeping funds in bitcoin comes with a lot of risk.
916  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: July 31, 2017, 04:44:33 AM
I think yes , Because Here not only with the searching data but also I am seeing in many groups where people are posting only about the referral sites and apps and surveys to make a small penny of money .
So here we can see the clearly that what are the conditions we are facing in the current time to make money .
Here I myself in the starting was mad to make money because I was thinking that there is nothing above the money .But after decent earnings I comes to know that money is not made to make our life full of tensions but it is made to live the life perfectly without taking much tension .
So here for the bulk earners with less hard work there are many things which are above of the money and they are not making hard work only for money .
So not every people are same and thinking the same thing about a particular thing .

That's exactly the issue, that everybody is going towards the same direction when it comes to money and its someone who have made enough money that's will tell you "money is not everything" but my answer to that is "let me make as much as you have made, and I will also say the same thing" the more you grow, the more money you will need to meet more expenses that's the way it has been designed and there is nothing anyone can really do about it.
917  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: July 30, 2017, 09:30:39 PM
I can see that people nowadays are busy searching on money and everything depends on money. People nowadays never go to church just because they would rather earn money rather than praise God. Others do not pay respect to elders  because they earn money for them or richer than them. Well for you, is money above all things ?

Money answereth all things and because money opens doors, money makes you an important person in the society, money gets you the respect you deserve and even in church money gives you the recognition, for those who might think money is vanity, so also is poverty in which its a no no for me. Money first then money next and after that, start the process all over again.
918  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ICO for Cloud Mining Bitcoin on: July 30, 2017, 08:50:54 PM
I don't know how you want to pull this off sincerely at this time of series of uncertainty in the case of cloud mining for the following reasons:

1. Why can't I just invest in those two sites you have there and get my profit rather than having to share it with you?

2. There have been several complains that cloud mining is scam and those that are not which you listed there, it will take forever to ROI, his do you do that?

3. If cloud mining site eventual go to dust, how do you go about protecting investors fund since you have no control over the site you are putting their money into.
919  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] PicoStash - Host and sell files for BTC/LTC/DASH on: July 30, 2017, 06:01:50 PM
Its good to see some improvement suggestions and even willingness for implementation which was will make the site a place to trust. Trust they say is not cheap especially in this crypto space that services like this is being provided. Also, I would suggest if the timing talked about is put in the FAQ section or HOW TO section of the site for easy access to users.
920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can Electrum users access BCC? on: July 30, 2017, 04:53:04 PM
At this point, everything seems dicey with several questions begging for answers which I am of the opinion is dependent on the eventuality that the fork happens on August 1. Aside that, when this happen I know there will be ways to go about it without too much hassle and over speculation that this will bring about. For me, I will rather wait for more information on the forum and other reputable site before knowing the next course of action.

In case you haven't seen this, there is a fake "Electrum Cash" wallet going around, and I wouldn't trust that at all because it's not approved by the official Electrum team.

Electrum has delivered the following statement:

https://electrum.org/bcc.txt

So given that there is no official support, I only see the www.bitcoincash.org full node as the only option to access your BCC.

My question is, if you have your coins on your Electrum wallet, and if you don't have enough time to download the blockchain before August 1st to get a full Core client running then get the coins on the full BCC client (I see a lot of people saying that they can't do it in time), then how can these people access their BCC?

As far as I know you can't import the seed from Electrum into Bitcoin Core (even tho it supports HD format now so im not sure)

I also heard importing private keys is not safe and you should avoid that.

What's the solution then to access these coins?
