Made some updates:

- Added DdmrDdmr data. Now i can make animations and graphics per board. I am open to requests
- Made Wall Observer board animation
- Added Avatars to all animations.

How can I do this for the local Turkish section?

Hello Tom Bombadil. Yes, I can do that animation now. I will do as soon as I can.

Edit: Por exemplo.  Comprou BTC por 150 reais em 2009. Passou batido pela receita, grande bosta....
Vendeu as mesmas criptos em 2020 por 1 milhão. Passou batido até 2025? Excelente, agora isso é rendimento isento. Foi pego em 2021? se fudeu.

Hey, I am having a lot of free time this quarentene.
As WO is almost a forum on its own, I have made these 2 animations showing top merited and top merit senders only inside WO thread.

Click in the image to see both animations (top merited and top merit senders).

I used DdmrDdmr data.

Or just click the link: https://public.flourish.studio/story/488740/

I used only data of merit distributed inside WO thread.

Quote
I - em primeiro lugar, aos débitos por obrigação própria, e em segundo lugar aos decorrentes de responsabilidade tributária;
II - primeiramente, às contribuições de melhoria, depois às taxas e por fim aos impostos;

9086  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Atomic wallet. Bitcoin sent to a Dogecoin address, how was that possible? on: July 26, 2020, 09:37:45 PM
I must have missed this part, well, "not your keys , not your bitcoin", I assume even if they were willing to help they would still charge him a certain amount pf fees, some exchanges will do that for a fixed amount like hitbtc charges $100 IIRC, some might ask for a certain percentage, and some will just tell you they can't do it, let's see how it goes for OP.

That's because it isn't cheap for them to get the private keys. That address might be in cold storage, for example. When they get the private key for that address they will expose the whole cold wallet and they will have to move all their coins (probably millions of dollars). There are many risks (like missing coins, messing seeds backups etc), costs (like mining fees and developers` time)

So, I doubt the website will give that private key for such a small amount...

9087  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: bitcoin/bitcointalk.org Races Stats Animation - all in one thread on: July 26, 2020, 02:11:50 PM
<…> There is data in the @DdmrDdmr application. But I can't copy the data from there. I wish it was possible to copy the tables @DdmrDdmr  Roll Eyes
You can use the following file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rOvFPbd9T6q5qrtLtAD1gy4fBMcUrg3Z/view?usp=sharing
It contains all the historical TXs, including the board description (section/subsection) It occupies some 75 MBs. You’ll have to load them to a DB or whatever repository you are going to use, and filter by subsection = Turkish (last column).

The data is as of last Friday 19/06/2020. How you create a the race itself is up to you (python, Tableau, etc.).

It took me a while, but I downloaded it today. Very good and organized data... I will do something with it in a few days . I will start with wall observer and then I will make other graphics for local boards.
Thank you.
9088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: top bitcoin Exchanges Volume Race on: July 26, 2020, 01:22:02 PM
I remember people were uploading such videos on Youtube about which is the most popular browser or Operating System. For some reason, data and statistics chart videos get millions of views on Youtube.
Why not upload your animation there,OP?

I don't have the time neither the will to keep an youtube channel updated. It is more important for me to produce quality content in bitcointalk.org with my account than to create a new account in youtube and start from scratch.

I have made a few videos similar to this one which can be found here, but they are not enough to keep an youtube channel.

The animation looks great, but the speed makes it a little bit annoying and irritating to my eyes.Is there a way to slow down such animation in Flourish.studio?

I slowed it down a bit, you can check it again. Thanks for suggestion.
9089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges Volume Race on: July 26, 2020, 10:33:53 AM
Fantastic job! Are you ok with me posting it somewhere else, like on Twitter?

Of  course
Share me the link later.

Others remains at the Top till the animation ends. It will be Binance and also Kucoin cause the volume  shown in red is much more for a single exchange to generate.

In the end these others grow a lot. I believe that those exchanges might be included as well.
It is very hard to get a reliable data, but I think this website did a nice job.

I found this very interesting website with some cool images.
All images from visualcapitalist.com

Iphone, spacex, nasa, tesla,  etc...

9092  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges Volume Race on: July 25, 2020, 02:29:20 PM
Very impressive OP. I really appreciate it.

I would like to ask what are these exchanges that included in OTHERs, are those unknown exchanges? It soaring high since 2017 until now but it is wondering to see that some reputable exchange has out from the race(where are they now) even Binance that we think it hits the market. It seems to see that Coinbase only has taken the lead over the others.

I thought it was Kucoin but a mistake in my eye it is Okcoin. Not really familiar to this.

I think binance might be included in others. But I cant know for sure
I didnt collect the data, just used it from that source I mentioned in op
9093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges Volume Race on: July 24, 2020, 10:28:06 PM
There's a mistake in both links:
- You've accidentally used the incorrect links that leads to one of your previous animations [DT1 Strength/Weakness Race].

Thanks for pointing it out. Just made the correction.
You can see the animation now.

I would never discover if you didn't mention

here is the correct link

9095  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Atomic wallet. Bitcoin sent to a Dogecoin address, how was that possible? on: July 24, 2020, 01:06:08 PM
Essentially, Atomic seems to have simply converted the DOGE address from Base58Check to HEX, then stripped off the DOGE "address prefix" (0x1e == "D") and the "checksum bytes", added the BTC address prefix (0x00 == "1") and then recalculated and appended the checksum and then converted from HEX back to Base58Check to end up with a BTC address... Undecided

Lol

This is very crazy.

This is very arbitrary. This should never be done in a wallet, or any kind of software that deals with other people' money.

Atomic wallet is not capable of handling other people' funds.

Thx for this, don't understand a thing about it, lol, but I have forwarded this to the doges add site. If they would be able to help.

Without the DOGE add private key, there is nothing they can do.
9096  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 🔍 Roobet.com | Guess Total Wagers #17 $50 Prize | Progressive Jackpot inside 🔍 on: July 24, 2020, 12:54:49 PM
I will however use this data to try and predict the right number, just like I've been trying for weeks now. I'm not just very good at it Tongue
Once I have more data, I can make graphs to look for weekly patterns.

I have tried many different algorithms to try to predict it. however there is a grown on the total wages variance each day. Roobet casino is growing, and this is fuking up my predictions lol
9097  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: bitcoin/bitcointalk.org Races Stats Animation - all in one thread on: July 24, 2020, 12:28:50 PM
Small updated:

I added Exchanges Volume Race. You can see the direct link to the animation here|

.

This is a very poor data and hard to find. But, anyway, I made the animation. I was able to get data since 2010. Sadly, missing binance and  a few others.
9098  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / top bitcoin Exchanges Volume Race on: July 24, 2020, 12:21:03 PM
I did this animation called Exchanges Volume Race using exchanges volume data from data.bitcoinity.org .

It is very hard to find exchanges volume data, and we all know those data are not very reliable and heavily manipulated.

However, I decided to that animation even with all those known problems of data quality and trust.

It is very interesting to see Mt.Gox fast grown and its spectacular crash at the beginning of the animation.

You can see the animation just click on the image.

https://public.flourish.studio/visualisation/3276127/.

I am open to suggestions and ideas for new animations per request.

9099  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans in a Bitcoin world on: July 24, 2020, 02:10:27 AM
At the current adoption stage,  loans make no sense imo. Only in casinos or similar websites that need crypto, not fiat.

If you need 10k usd, why would you ask for a 1 btc loan? To sell that btc, convert to usd and then buy btc back to repay?

Volatility is so high that both parts would like to convert the value of loan to fiat, not btc.
9100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do I become a crypto market maker? on: July 24, 2020, 01:56:57 AM
I see a lot of people coming here asking about token creation.
People just want to know about exchanges, market stuff and so on. Only scams. People like the OP want to create a token list to profit from fools who will buy it .

Why don't you ask things like development,  which projects are necessary now in the ecosystem and so on. But no, new tokens care only about exchanges and marketing. Scam.
