921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market activity on: October 14, 2021, 04:44:05 AM
~ All I'm asking is why isn't there a competitive thread here real time. Altcoins go up and down hundreds percent and no one here has anything to say?
Something like the BTC's Wall Observer is probably what you're looking for. There's an Altcoin Wall Observer but it's not as active as the other one. It's hard to maintain because there's just too many alts to discuss and most members wants to have their own discussion thread.
922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 14, 2021, 03:31:59 AM
Just saw that Kyrie will not be playing for the Nets until he is vaccinated. ~
It's only for their "Home Games" I believed and not the whole game season. It's because of Brooklyn's protocol regarding in-game activities. ~

Nets already gamble their future the first time they acquired him. Until now, he is creating more problems. Stay tuned for his next crazy action lol.
The last update that I've read about vaccines is not mandated, but players won't be paid in each game that they will not play

~
~ Full Nets statement:

^ Based on that, Kyrie  won't play any of the Nets home or road games.

About his payment for games he will miss:
~ But,.. yes there's a twist even if he doesn't play road games the deduction that will be made with his salary are just the home games that was announced by the NBA for whoever will not take the vaccine.
^ He's still a lucky MF even if he sit out the entire season. Maybe he should just lay low and start his own community league where all players are free to play with/against him.

~
I would agree Luka has MVP potential, but I don't think the Mavs are going to do well enough for him to truly be in MVP contention.
The award is supposed to be for individual performances but yeah how they can carry their own team plays a big factor in the voting.

I think I'd go with Durant as the obvious choice because he's the best basketball player in the world right now.  Harden might be a sleeper though if Kyrie misses a lot of games and he's able to run the point largely by himself for the Nets.
No argument here. KD is really a special player and Harden could also deliver.

One surprising thing to myself about my own opinion...  I don't think any of the Lakers have a shot at MVP this year.
Must be tough for a Laker fan to say that Grin The ball and the responsibility will be spread out which lessen a player's chance to stand out.

~ Particularly interested in the  Andrew Sanchez vs Bruno Silva, glad that'll be in the Apex.
I usually ignore preliminaries but this is the only fight that stood out for me because of Bruno Silva's fight highlights that I saw recently. This should have been in the main card IMO. Anyway, who is your pick? Appreciate it if you could add some basic analogy/explanation.
924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 13, 2021, 10:33:40 AM
I read a quote today that I felt really shined a light on the overreaction by today’s society to covid. Remember when Magic Johnson played in the NBA with full blown AIDS? How far have we fallen that now they won’t even let Kyrie play because he has refused to get a covid vaccine? Not even being sick with covid, just refusing a vaccine…. It doesn’t seem real.

I don't think that we can compare Magic's case though, as far as I know, AIDS can't be transferred while playing against it's each other, or the physical contact. As opposed the Covid wherein it's a communicable disease. So for me, it's not being blown out of proportion, it's just players refusing to understand like Kyrie in this case of being covid-19 vaccinated.
Yeah, Magic's case was a bad comparison.

On Kyrie's case, Nets can test him almost daily if they really want to know if he's been infected or not but they chose the easier path. From a business point of view, I think that's just logical. They have to put their players at ease knowing they are traveling/playing with teammates that are less likely to get covid because they're vaccinated.

I'm just looking at the odds for the Regular season MVP from sportsbet, what can you say about it?

I'm thinking it's going to be close between KD and Giannis, so I"m surprised that Luka is somewhat the favorite this season.
I'm not surprised that Luka is the favorite especially how he's been playing the last two seasons. I'm more surprised that Embiid is at 7.50 while Jokic is at 15. No disrespect to Joel and the bookies but come on man, it has to be closer than that. Is he injured? What am I missing?

Tapos may another 10 mins time limit para maka-sign up (per round ito).

Mas mataas, mas malakas maka-damage (mas marami food consumption). Parang mga langgam lang mga unevolved pets.

Lessons I've learnt from bear market

1. No one wants bear market 😂
Not really. I want bear market if I want to enter the market again after cashing out profits. It's how the big boys make a lot of fortune. I know of a guy who was late of the 2017 cycle but took advantage of the 2018-2019 bear market to accumulate and build volume. He bought a coin worth $0.06 at the time and it's now over $2.

That's the lesson you should take. Prepare an exit strategy to have enough ammunition for the upcoming bear cycle and accumulate. You'll be in a great position for the next bull cycle.

^ I doubt that it's about respect after all that happened. He probably realized he can't force his way out right now and he couldn't afford to lose more millions for violation of contract. Whoever told or convinced him to report is a practical guy.

I just saw a social media ad on Shaq's NFT. I know many former and current professional athletes are into crypto but this still caught me offguard. I thought he wasn't into this market because it was too volatile for his taste. Anyway, I guess he found it less risky to sell himself than investing in other coins/tokens. I would probably buy his NFT making a FT shot (talk about rare)
That's probably the point, selling his own will benefit him, and that's the way to minimize the risk by using his popularity. NFT has been growing now, even the celebrities are already into it and it's good for us since we love NBA and crypto at the same time.
But Shaq is a investor too, so probably he doesn't want to missed the boat on the NFT hype.
Of course he is and a successful one at that.

He had an interview last month where he said he doesn't want to venture into cryptocurrencies because he doesn't understand it and seems too good to be true.
929  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: EDITED---fees of this wallet from coins.ph on: October 12, 2021, 12:09:38 PM

^ Gotta give credit to Steve Nash for planning ahead and preparing the whole team playing without Irving in the regular season and even in the playoffs. Honestly, it's the right thing to do because they couldn't control Kyrie's decision. We should accept that as well as fans and bettors.
He doesn't have much of a choice.  Cheesy That player is just unpredictable with his decisions or wherever his thoughts are.
True. I still give him props for acting swiftly. With what he did, I'm pretty sure the Nets are in better shape mentally than the Sixers.

I just won 3500 lottery tickets on WOF from the daily spins (premium member) and 3500 reward points from the promotional email.

When it rains, it pours they said Grin (seriously, it's been raining the whole day here)

Its so disappointing to me winning tickets, becouse at the end win people with less then 200 tickets like the previus winners.  Roll Eyes Imagine producing 150 tickets a week and win 0.99 btc mindblow
~
Well it's called lottery for good reason. It's true that the more tickets you hold, the higher chance you get but it's never a guarantee. It could take years or it could never come at all.

It doesn't disappoint me anymore because I'm already used to not winning it Grin (I had over 7000 tickets in the last round).

~ And with fairly good I simply mean that they don't scam and steal you money.
Even if you are one of those honest and high bettors, you should always keep in mind that these sportsbooks would ask for KYC on cases already mentioned by some members. All of them suspended/withheld user's account at one point and ask for personal information (CMIIW sports bettors).

937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PreSearch search engine|| A crypto friendly browser on: October 10, 2021, 04:18:53 PM
I used this browser earlier this year but I stopped for some reason. I noticed I wasn't earning anymore from accessing popular crypto websites. There are also times when I'm redirected to another browser when they don't have what I was searching (Dsearch was the name if I'm not mistaken). Good for them if they made significant improvements for the convenience of users.

Chill guys. I think BetSpider is still reviewing their marketing campaign here. Think of it as step 1.

~ the website has a great design and there are a lot of games to choose from,
Agreed. Design for their table games also looks great. It's way better than other casinos I already played.

They also don't have a telegram channel or group this is very important all the other popular casinos have one.
They don't have a group discussion but they have a channel (link).

Click on the SNS at the bottom of the page (right) and you'll see their other social media page.

^ Appreciate their effort but I think all our complaints and feedback for improvements have been mentioned in this thread. All they need to do is take down notes of our discussions.

They want a consensus some of their players are not members of Bitcointalk they have other communities too like telegram, Twitter, Reddit, and other social media sites, they want to know the concern suggestion of their community, instead of a poll they give us a form so we can with our own words can give them the information that they want.
Sure they have and I'm aware of that. My comment was more of a representation from the bitcointalk community. If they've been serious in taking feedback from this forum, they do not need us to sign a form because everything is already here.
940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT a trustable? on: October 09, 2021, 01:14:13 PM
Trustable? It looks like they surpassed the biggest hurdle they faced but only trust USDT as much as you trust your own bank. While it's true that transferring USDT using non-custodial wallets is faster than fiat's bank-to-bank, it can be frozen whenever Tether wants it.
