Dubai's economy and tech space has developed rapidly over the last 20 years. My understanding is their regulatory governance board has allowed some crypto companies to offer their services there recently. Seems to me they'll embrace Bitcoin more than any other region. They'll likely become a crypto hub with large crypto corporations HQ'd there over the next decade.
The Dubai government is supporting the cryptocurrency space and they understand the trend and they want to make sure they want to attract investors in this regard and few of my friends moved to Dubai once the Indian government implemented exorbitant tax but everything that glitters in Dubai is not gold as you cannot find qualified IT expert even for e commerce companies as they hire freelancers if they have any major technical issues Cheesy.

So when it comes to government friendly places for cryptocurrencies Dubai will be the place in the next 5 years, Singapore is a good spot but it is bloody expensive place to move if you are an outsider.

We've had altercations before on stage, and backstage, but this is one of the only times I remember it getting cancelled so there must have been a few hands thrown. That would be my guess anyway. Let's just hope none of the fights get cancelled on the back of the altercations.
Altercation started with Kevin Holland and Khamzat Chimaev and that is being brewing in social media for a while and with the Paulo Costa and Khamzat Chimaev incident Kevin Holland was active in his social media handles mocking Khamzat as a fake gangster and on top of that Khamzat is here with his entire gym and Nate Diaz as usual is with his entire gang and someone from the Diaz camp threw something in their direction which forced Dana to cancel the press conference.
923  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance to remove USDC as a tradable asset. on: September 09, 2022, 12:10:03 PM
~
So if you're a USDC user, you should think twice, because I wouldn't be surprised if we see something worse in the coming days. So it is good to be careful in advance.
If you are worried about stable currencies then you need to worry about all the stable currencies in the cryptocurrency space as everything is under the radar. USDT is always under the regulatory eye because they lack transparency and so is the case with every other so called stable currencies. The reason Binance is removing other stable currency is to concentrating on their stable currency and have more liquidity.

In short the more stable currency anyone purchase with your fiat currency, the more money they make, so it is a business decision as far as i understand Wink.

India did very well in today match against Afghanistan - But Kholi speech after the match was very different.
He talked about his own personal experiences and how life have changed when he was off the field.
This was a very different winning speech. . very emotional though!
When the form dipped everyone was writing Virat Kohli off and if he failed in this tournament he would not be playing in the World Cup team and hence the pressure was on him to perform and confirm his place and hence the emotions after scoring his maiden century in T20 and a century after a long drought.

In the match between Australia and New Zealand, i thought New Zealand will be able to chase the score but i was wrong and the Australian bowlers were determined that they would defend the total especially Sean Abbott who bowled 4 consecutive maiden overs which is really rare in any format. New Zealand should find a replacement for Martin Guptill as he is struggling with his form for a long period of time.
925  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best gambling site for Cricket! on: September 08, 2022, 10:48:44 PM
I am trying to find out the best crypto base gambling site for cricket. Who will not decrease my betting limit if I win big amount or frequently. I have used several site who has never told me anything if I make loss. But if I win then they limit my bet. For example if I can place bet for 1000$ when they limit my bet I can bet only about 10$ or something like that. So, if anyone can refer any good site who will not limit my bet amount limit, I will be thankful.
Would like to know the sites which limited you when you started winning frequently so that it will be a heads up for everyone here.

I used to wage Cricket in Cloudbet (cash out is sometimes not possible), Sportsbet (will enforce KYC out of the bloom) and now a days wagging majority of the time in Stake as i like their UI and the betting options available for live betting and their regular bonus depending on how much you wage.
926  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stressful crypto market on: September 08, 2022, 08:56:50 PM
The crypto market is never stressful but is unpredictable to understand her volatile nature. It becomes tiring when you put your whole mind into it. That's why it is advisable to invest in bitcoin and have a restful mind.
Anyone new to the cryptocurrency space and when they invest when the market was rallying might be stressing out seeing the huge price disparity and it is normal because they have not done their homework before investing. For anyone who invested when the price was high they can average their investment whenever there is a drop in valuation and always think about the long term as the market would eventually rally after the next halving.

Bitcoin is expensive but some people can still afford to buy it whether it's expensive or not. Invest in what you can afford to lose though
You can accumulate by investing smaller amounts and why thinking about loosing when you are investing at the right time which is the bear market.

This match is fixed and/or Afghanistan always supports Indians and they want Indians to win. If you see history, this is always the case. You can judge yourself their performance with Srilanka / Pakistan and today's performance against India.

Also, this was the game plan, that Afghanistan will lose badly to India to give India a run rate advantage in case Afghanistan had won the last match against Pakistan but fortunately, Pakistan did not let this manipulation work as they beat Afghanistan and through to the finals.
Another conspiracy theory and what is the point of fixing in your opinion if the results does not matter. Have some common sense before throwing in these theories  Tongue. Do you think there was any spot fixing involved when Pakistan went on to loose 9 wickets and then somehow managed to score the winning runs from an impossible situation and the fight between the Afghanistan and Pakistan players during the final overs as well as the audience riots  which was really unfortunate as people are not willing to take this as a sporting event  Roll Eyes.

And this is the reason why today's Australian team can't be compared to the squads from 1990s. Back then, they were the best in the world, and only South Africa could give them some competition. But look at the Australian team today. They are the weakest team within the pig-4 grouping, at least in the ODI format.
You really cannot compare the 90s Australian squad or the 70s and 80s West Indies squad as the team does not depend upon one or two players but the entire team was competitive and would battle till the end. You cannot expect every era to have an elite team.

Coming into the match between Australia and New Zealand, Australia is once again struggling with the bat. Lost 7 wickets and Steven Smith is the only player battling. If they can score above 160, i would be surprised.
929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Heavyweight Battle of Britain - FURY vs JOSHUA on: September 07, 2022, 07:37:22 PM
~
Usyk has announced he will not be fighting again this year even though Fury and his team were desperate for the fight to go ahead therefore Fury has made an open challenge via the media to Joshua challenging him to the Battle of Britain fight and putting his belts on the line while Joshua has zero belts.

If Joshua accepts and this fight goes ahead, what will will the outcome be and will it shape the future of boxing for years to come?
I was surprised to see the call out by Tyson Fury in Instagram, but there is a timeline for Joshua to accept the fight and if Joshua accepts the fight within the timeframe we could see the potential fight between them and i was eagerly waiting for this fight long back, but the hype is lost after couple of losses  against Usyk and i don't think Joshua will be mentally prepared to take on this challenge within the timeframe. Either Fury has to wait for Usyk to return or find another opponent if he is planning to fight this year.

India was fully favourite in this match, but Sri Lanka has proven it wrong. Sri Lanka had almost ensured their victory with their opening partnership. But India took control over the games by taking 4 wickets in the middle overs. That's why the betting odds was in favour of India at the moment. Arshdeep did quite well in the last over, but the required run wasn't so high. Sri Lanka has entered in the final as a first team. They lost the first match very badly against Afghanistan. No one expected such comeback from the Sri Lankan team. 19 runs were needed in the last 10 balls. I placed a bet on Sri Lanka at the moment and won it.
India was a heavy favorite coming into the match but in these pitches chasing the score is easier considering how all the teams that chased won. What i like about Sri Lanka is that they do not have an extraordinary player which everyone identifies yet they are team who will perform as a team.

~
I would like to mention Bhuvneshwar Kumar. His performance is very bad. We don't expect such a performance from an experienced bowler like him. He gave 19 runs in the 19th over in the match against Pakistan. As a result, India was defeated. In today's match too, he gave 14 runs in the 19th over. If he had bowled the 19th over successfully, India would have won the match.
Yes the biggest disappointment for India is Bhuvneshwar Kumar who bowled the second last over against Pakistan now in this match he bowled the second last over and went for runs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar should bowl his quota of overs in his initial spell rather than banking on him in the later overs.

Fate of India lies on the other matches and it is highly unlikely we will see them in the final with the way things are progressing.
931  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptocurrency exchange koinex shut down in india on: September 04, 2022, 07:40:52 PM
Not surprising this exchange, any others that come after it, or if there are any existing ones in India were or will be closed.  The government has an outright ban on cryptocurrency, indeed illegal there.
This is not true, there is no outright ban on cryptocurrencies in India. Recently the government imposed 30% tax on cryptocurrency and 1% TDS which will be deducted from source even for P2P trading, so obviously the trading volume plummeted in all the exchanges that are forced to follow these direction.

There were raids in WazirX and CoinSwitch Kuber couple of exchanges by enforcement directorate citing money laundering and they have frozen the company assets held in their bank account.

I think Tuivasa belongs to the UFC HW top 10 but not at top 5.  So what's next for him...  I think he'll be matched up with Tom Aspinall who's another excellent fighter.  Aspinall could finish him in two rounds imho.
You cannot count out Tai Tuivasa, he was on a 5 fight winning streak which is rare in the Heavy Weight division and his most impressive win was against Derrick Lewis which was really unexpected and even in this fight he really clipped Ciryl Gane but was not able to finish him, if not for the smart move by Ciryl Gane the fight would have been over.

UFC 279 main event and co main event looks like a mismatch, not sure why Tony Ferguson is moving up the division and facing Li Jingliang and Jorge Masvidal should have been the right opponent for Khamzat Chimaev rather than two 155 pounders heading the main event and co main event  Grin.

I would disagree here that winning the toss would mean winning the matches. Srilanka managed to win against Afghanistan and Bangladesh by playing good cricket and both matches were close and could have gone in any direction.

I would say that the matches are really interesting to watch and full of thrill and excitement. Though teams are winning through chasing but they have to work hard for it.
The reason is bowling in the second innings is a difficult aspect considering the high humidity which makes them harder for the bowlers to grip the ball. If you watched the matches you will understand that bowlers are struggling in the second innings either due to cramps and wet ball.

India started really good but loosing wickets at regular intervals. Hardik Pandya gone for a duck and now Deepak Hooda is in the crease along with Virat Kohli and lost half the side and if India does not put a total above 190, it is going to be difficult to defend.
934  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks are changing ..... Bitcoin should wake up and innovate more! on: September 04, 2022, 02:35:27 PM

They also realized that Brick n mortar operations are very expensive to operate and that those expenses has to be funded by high fees. The competition in the form of alternative digital payment offerings and Bitcoin's "Be your own Bank" principle....added to the threat of not having these high fees.

Are we going to wait for the Banking sector to disrupt Bitcoin.... or are we going to spearhead innovation to stay in front? You decide, if you want to stagnate.... or if you want to run in the front.  Wink
This should not be a new revelation that brick and mortar operations are expensive and if you look at the developing countries majority of the banks have branched out their operations in major towns and cities and there was a rampant job opportunities in the banking sector in the past ten years. Banking sector will not disrupt BTCitcoin no matter how hard they try because transacting outside a country is still expensive and time consuming and i do not see any change in that aspect.

Every government is promoting online payment for the past decade and the simple reason is to have more control over an individual spending habits and transparency,  BTCitcoin gives you pseudo anonymity and you can take care of your privacy up to an extend.

Lol Zimbabwe won, this should give them some confidence and will surely help in the climb up at the ranking table.

Kind of bizarre to see an Aussie scorecard, that's some epic collapse in the same match where 1 batter scored 94 runs for the team and the rest of the team contributed only 38 runs, 3rd best scorer was Extras 9 runs.  Undecided
It was a holly molly moment when Zimbabwe scored the winning run and that too against a strong Australian side. Ryan Burl single handedly orchestrated the Australian collapse in the middle order and he took two catches in the outfield and picked up 5 wickets and then when Zimbabwe was struggling chasing the score he contributed with the bat as well and once in a lifetime moment for him Cheesy.
936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 03, 2022, 11:06:21 PM
Once again a big match to come Pakistan vs India. This time it'll be even more fighting, because Pakistan will make each and every move very careful to win the match. Last match it was stated as India being very careful to make win following its T20 World Cup defeat. In today's match Jadeja isn't available due to injury. This will be a big loss for the team, and possibly Axar Patel will replace the position. Lets wait and the odds are very close between the two.
Once again the toss will be important, the team winning the toss will be chasing and that is how the tournament is shaping up, the team batting first lost all the matches till now and every team chased the total even if the targets were a decent one except for matches against Hong Kong. Pakistan young bowling line up will be tested again and it will be another great match.
937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can this be the reason some people are afraid to invest in Bitcon? on: September 03, 2022, 06:08:30 PM
The typical human mind initially considers the fictitious drawbacks and rejects the possibility of another type of money. However, a growing number of individuals are visiting exchanges like Binance, Primexbt, Kraken, etc. People are afraid because they were taught to be afraid as child. This is, unfortunately, what the educational system does.
This is not the fault of the education system, but the fundamental human tendency when it comes to taking risk when your hard earned money is involved. If you are not willing to take risk there is nothing wrong in it and only invest if you are willing to take the risk and it might not reap the benefits all the time.

I am also a victim. Wish I had joined this forum earlier.
If you are willing to take the risk, you can invest right now rather than thinking about the past, thinking about the lost opportunity does not make any sense Wink.

I am actually going to be surprised if Zimbabwe even makes this match competitive at this point. The way Australia had won the first two matches it is quite certain that they are going to dominate the third ODI as well. Zimbabwe did score 200 runs in the first ODI but that didn’t do anything. Australia found it really easy. For Australia, it was like walking on the cake. And I think it is going to be something same like that in the third ODI as well.
Australia is batting first and they already lost three wickets and i was surprised to see the scoreboard as Zimbabwe was able to pick the wickets of Aaron Finch, Steven Smith and Alex Carey for just 31 runs on the board.

Australia need a good partnership from David Warner and Marcus Stoinis and they have Glenn Maxwell in the end to increase the scoring pace.

939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul v Anderson Silva [rumours] on: September 02, 2022, 11:04:13 PM
Anderson Silva is not known for his punches in the MMA scene. Even though he's won a boxing match, I doubt it is enough of a weapon for him against an opponent that picks fighters that are obviously not strong in the boxing department. Jake's strategy of choosing famous MMA fighters with weak punching abilities puts him in the limelight of being 'on par' with these guys. But if the fight is MMA, I doubt Jake will last a long time against these seasoned grapplers.
There is a reason Jake Paul chooses MMA fighters, if they sign the agreement they will appear on the fight night and we will have a fight. None of the so called professional boxers even though mocking him were not willing to fight him even after having the agreement and hence i am not surprised that Jake Paul is choosing another MMA fighter for his next bout.

Anderson was pretty damn good, alright he's a mixed martial artist, and obviously his kicks were his highlight reels, but he's got a decent punch on him, and the ability to evade. I remember watching some of the highlights of that boxing match, and he performed pretty damn good. Looks pretty slick, not as slick as he did in the UFC, but still very decent.
In his prime, Anderson Silva was known for his striking even though one of his highlight reel will have a front kick knockout to Vitor Belfort. The only concern is his age and his reflexes like he used to have, if not it will be a great fight.
940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Outperforms Bitcoin Trading Operations on: September 02, 2022, 09:45:33 PM
Its pretty impressive but its worth to point out that its mostly a pre-merge hype. After its done, after "buy rumours sell facts event" and spectacular dump, bitcoin will come back on top once again.
It is definitely the hype and the rumor mills running that there might be another fork and users might be thinking easy money as they have seen in the past with the other forks. But the fact is that they are making a big change in the protocol level which can create major technical issues which is much risky in many levels and i would definitely stay away from ETH for the time being Wink.
