Also, on japool p2p I earned 14 src in about 7 hrs of test mining, hashing at maybe 600 k/h est. I switched over the same miners to coinmine around 1am, shortly after the pool came back up last night and have not received 1 payout yet?Huh and its now been over 6hrs. so,,,not sure what to make of things.....

Is Pool "scr.coinemine.pl"  down?

It's down for me. I can't connect via web interface or with my miners

yep...I do believe so,,  Huh

Good to hear it is all working now.
Sometimes you just get a blind spot from staring at something, but it is obvious to fresh eyes what is wrong.
You got that right! lol

Hey is the pool report for earned src per day, based on hash, fairly accurate?
3367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SRC] SecureCoin | A Fast and Secure Version of Bitcoin | LAUNCHED on: September 04, 2013, 09:42:18 PM
Yup, going to say the same thing. Worker name should start with your coinpool username, as in my example.
If you go to My Account->My Workers, it will tell you what workers you have defined.

Edit: Ah, I think you took this bit of the getting started instructions a little too literally:
URL:    http://src.coinmine.pl
Stratum PORT:    6020
Username:    worker_name
Password:    password

You have to define a worker in the My Workers section, and the worker password isn't related to you logon password for the pool website.
HEY!! that was all it was  Undecided  how embarassing,,,ok, you have been a big help! its hashing! Smiley  ill create a new bat file and slowly move over some cpu's and try the pool out. thanks so much...i dont like to be stumped over something so simple lol,,,,

Why don't you post the full commandline you are using, and the output you are getting, and maybe someone can spot something off?

Ok, whats my problem?...lol THX!! Smiley

check your worker name - I dont see 'worker_Izuxxx.1' or even anything starting with 'worker' in database Wink
how would I define my worker in the command line? do i need the "worker_name.1" or just "name.1" my workers name does not begin with worker.... its  Izuxxx.1 password xx. Ill try it without the worker_ in front of name...I thought i had tried that tho... and was how i read it in the getting started section Smiley thx Ill let ya know!

The improved site will be up today. There is also Cryptoave, a paper wallet, and likely poker integration on the way.
I still as of last nite was getting a "failed to connect to stratum" when trying to get in src.coinmine?? connects to all other p2p pools fine using minerd64...any suggestion?

I setup a p2pool (2%) for securecoin.

Please join and provide any feedback! Grin

Quick tutorial:
1. Get minerd64_sse4.exe here http://www.japool.com/quark-v2_w64.zip

2. Run this at cmd prompt but put in your Securecoin wallet address!

Code:
minerd64_sse4.exe -a quark -t 8 -o http://www.japool.com:17339 --userpass=YourSecurecoinWalletAddress:AnyPassword

*Change this "-t 8" to the number of cores you have I have 8.  If you have 4 cores change it to "-t 4" if you have 2 cores change it to "-t 2"
Hey I have 3 cpus running on your pool right now,,,all seems fine, payouts flowing in...only at 290 k/hash right now but have much more yet to set up on other pc's Ok, do you have a website or anything for your pool to see any stats at all?

EDIT: Iam watching to see now if my payouts increase as I add more cpu's?....will post back on that Smiley

TH posting stuff in the other thread, guess no news for us today. Sad
HEy Zurg,,, I was just looking to,,, lol, have you noticed how fast the difficulty is rising?Huh wow... not good for the home team here...lol
3377  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: September 03, 2013, 09:02:45 PM
Diff jump +30% in 24hours, total diff over 110M in less then 13 days... I always kept quiet, but the situation is becoming critical. Terrahash, please share your plans on DAILY basis.
yes it is,,,scary. I said 2 months ago that only the heavy weights of mining will be left standing and making the money,,,the rest of us are just chasing our own tails,,,, and will more than likely loose most of the up front investment in asics,,,you will always be buying more and more to feel your "caught up".

And I think most will buy more hashing power before the first has paid for itself? Can only hope at that point, BTC is worth 200 bux ,,, which it could be soon? never know Smiley I honestly believe that small window of time,,February through July, in which everyone had a chance to make some money has come and gone and will be gone forever. May be just better to buy BTC and sit on it at his point,,,I cant decide...lol

Miner from this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=270852.msg3029815#msg3029815

That's pretty much it, there is no more config, just create your account and worker on the pool, and run minerd.
I use the minerd64_sse4 version, you need to match it to the instruction set your chip supports.
I use -q -R 5 -t 6 to:
- Remove the periodic hashrate messages
- Retry failed network connections every 5 seconds
- Only run 6 threads rather than one for each core.
hey thx let me try a differnt miner,,, i think i need the sse4 version,,,ill let ya know how it goes! thx a ton,,if i ever get it mining ill shoot ya a few src's  Smiley if my wallet will ever update,,,crazy...never had so many issues,,,ty
3379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CCE) SRC-SecureCoin Pool Launched on: September 03, 2013, 03:34:05 PM
The instructions on the site worked fine for me:
- Create account, log in.
- Create worker, set password.
- minerd -a quark -o stratum+tcp://src.coinmine.pl:6020 -u worker_name.1 -p password

On Win7x64
hey anyway you can post the whole config for you miner...hate to ask.... minus your password etc lol  i have to be off somewhere,,keeps saying failed to connect to stratum after binding the threads etc
