Just curious because the demo board that they demonstrated had a lot of hardware errors.
So don't you think it is a fair question ask about a revised board that should get rid of the hardware errors?
TerraHash should have received 60 sample chips to experiment with so they should be able to test a new PCB.
If im not mistaken, they mentioned somewhere they will be printing the new revised board. There was some issues known,,,so?
Edit: If i find it I will post,,,but Im feeling sure they are.
Yes they said they were printing new a PCB so the question remains have they tested the new PCB's?
10-4 not sure but would like to think they will...lol,,before printing 1000's of them....

@TerraHash
Have you received the K16 v0.3.0 PCB's yet? Have you populated a K16 v0.3.0 to verify its functionality?

Why should they?  They having own design.  Not need waiting on BKK.
As far as I know they are using BkkCoins K16 design.
Where have you heard otherwise?
They (TH) have already populated a k16 and have had it hashing,,,actually before BKK, TH was first to succeed with a full board hashing,,,they claim at 350 m/h per chip,,,but we havent seen that yet (350) And they are printing their own boards, and are set to roll when chips arrive. According to TH....
Edit: Also they did communicate with BKK briefly and exchanged a few notes, just before getting a k16 full board hashing.

Hey gang, (KL and S.gent) thx for the info on canary....super prices! and he sure seems solid with trust! Now if i can just figure out how to send and sign etc,,,lol, but its all there I just need to study his thread again, can't be that hard Smiley

How to sign, post # 410,if the link does not take you to it:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=195052.msg2087551#msg2087551

Just change the body of the letter to state what you want, its a great example  Cool

The bitcoin address you sent the payment from is ANY address you RECIEVE BTC with to YOUR wallet  Wink

Just copy & paste the 3 fields in an email or PM & your done!!!!  Grin

Hey I just read through that..its a good example. I may have a question still about this part: where am I generating this address from?

In line 1 - enter the bitcoin address you sent the payment from

I that my address for payment to canary (his receive address) ?

Ill look at it more later got to go get supper for me and my son... Smiley
thx Unacceptable,,,great link!

EDIT: I think I just saw my answer in your post,,,that address would be any receive address generated in my own wallet,,,same as if i was generating an address for receiving payment from a pool etc...

Any information on when we can be expecting our Klondikes? I am assuming the Aug. 15 deadline is out of the question...

Looks like we are getting screwed in this instance.  Sad
Well...If they got the chips tomorrow,,,they said they would begin shipping in 2 weeks after receiving,,I  think... Its just hard to imagine that TH or with any company isn't given and accurate tracking and eta time with thousands of dollars of product on order.... I guess lets hope and pray! they come this week,,or yes we will take a huge profit hit if knc ships first,,,batch 3 avalons are arriving daily to their happy customers door steps as promised now...hmmmm our ROI will take for ever...Im kinda wishing i had just took my money and doubled my gpu farm for FTC or LTC lol..I hope I don't regret not doing that....lets try to stay optimistic

wow what a long block! glad im mining FTC for the moment with GPU's...actually making money again Smiley Asics are ordered and ill be back here....soon i hope!!!

It's a little odd at first. Depends on which wallet you are using: client or blockchain.info
I use blockchain for my payments. On blockchain you send your payment first. Then click the "receive money" tab. Click on "actions" and select "sign message".
Enter your name and shipping address in the box, and click "sign message". You will get a signature string. Copy it and close the box. Then PM Canary in the format he has requested with your wallet address at the top, the shipping address you "signed" with next, and the signature string at the bottom.
THX AGAIN! Just copied and pasted those steps to word...for quick reference....yes its different as I have never done. Smiley

Hey Atomsea...will copy this info...may give it a shot, i havent had a lot of luck $ in the past with p2p pools (LTC and FTC)....but always willing to take another look! I may be ordering some usb asics now that price is dropping on them,,,will see if it connects,,,keep us posted in here thx Smiley

FYI,
I bought an asicminer usb from Canaryinthemine on Sunday for .55btc (shipping included) and received it on Wednesday. He is an excellent seller. I'm testing it on my RasPi to get the unit ready for my terrahash boards when they arrive. Those usb miners don't do much, but they are fun to play with.
lol, yep im ordering one asic eruptor just to play with,,,pretty sure it will act like the klondikes with the cgminer,,, not sure on the raspi yet...even tho their pretty cheap now... where/how did you contact canary for a .55 one? through bitcoin forums?  thats a steal! was thinking btc guild,,or even on ebay for 67.00 now and i have a 10% off ebay coupon! WOOT! lol thx!

Everyday I wake thinking ,,this is the day we will hear that the chips have arrived......lol,  in the meantime, I'm having a picnic mining FTC and selling FTC....lol more than one way to get that BTC still!  Tongue

Yep, diversification is the key. I also have a bot trading BTC 24/7 for me. A little bit here and there and we will ensure success. Btw, thank you for the kind words in your previous post. Very much appreciated.  Smiley
yw!

A little tidbit from bkkcoins (below) regarding a question ask by bebfoo earlier today....this has been a bit of a question in here last couple of days regarding how a k64 will be powered...one pci-e or 4?? this kinda gives us an idea, but i guess we will have to trust that terrahash has this already figured this out and knows that the k64 will chain properly?

bebfoo ask:
So Bkkcoins: will you be producing K64 boards (4 K16 all on one PCB board) or no? Wondering how Terrahash will be getting the K64 boards for the DX large boxes...

BKK answer:
I doubt I'll actually produce any boards or design layout for K64 - though technically I kind of have one in my hand right now. A 4up panel of K16 boards. A good layup of a K64 would join the klego pins and remove extra connector pads to save parts. However, joining together all the 12V power is difficult and would require a connector assembly that could take 4x as much current. It is probably is feasible to join each pair of K16s into one PCIe connector and save on 2 anyway. I don't think K64s should be built until working K16s are tested in chain configuration.

I'm excited!

What mining pools are you guys going to be using?

My friend and I are creating an Asic friendly virtual server P2P pool mining site - HugPuddle.
We are currently conducting Alpha testing.
Here is the link 108.161.129.247:9332
To mine, you use your BTC wallet public key as your -u and anything for your -p. There isn't a login.
We are striving for low latency and low orphans. So far so good. Our curve gets better everyday.
We will be using our 50 gigs on this site Smiley No fees for us, and low fees for you - 98% is yours.
1% to HugPuddle - 1% to the P2P Pool open-source developers.
Our unique angle is our virtual server with additional load-bearing features so there will be no downtime and maximum hashing at all times.
Like I said - we are finishing up Alpha testing and you are free to Beta test it with whatever BTC hashing power you have, be it GPU's or Asics.  We want to make sure it can handle all types.
We currently have GPU and USB ASICminers on it Smiley
A more formal website is in the works Smiley

I'm excited!

What mining pools are you guys going to be using?

What wallets?

I'm thinking about skipping the wallet, and going straight to coinbase insta-sell.

I usually mine on Bitcoin.cz aka Slush's Pool,,,and occasionally BTC Guild cause of all the fancy statistics,,, but overall Slush's seems to make the most money for me. ( when I was GPU mining BTC) Coinbase would be a safe bet to send you payouts to if you plan to sell your coins. I still have mine come to my own wallet as its easier for me if I want to purchase things on line with BTC.
3634  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: August 02, 2013, 05:22:10 PM
Maybe they will ship the chips simultaneously...lol
3635  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: August 02, 2013, 05:20:43 PM
It appears the Avalon 3 units are shipping Smiley
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=203745.720

From the speculation that I have garnered - it may be the case that they are waiting to ship out the bulk of their batch 3 units until they will be sending chips out. There were some very upset people when that first Zefir chip order went out - litigation threats even - I suspect Avalon is choosing to appease their unit buyers first (as they ordered first), and will ship out the rest of the chips soon after that.  We can only hope they do so in mass, or we will be waiting some still.
Wow,,, you could be right??? there sure is some happy campers there, wish it was out tracking getting emailed to us! Sad

Anybody in here know who this is? I found this interesting,,,ships september 9th,,,,hmmm? notice the speed based on 350 m/h per chip,,,so how can this be? Surely its not Knightlife? lol,,,you live in the bay area,,,,who ever it is,,,it looks pretty cool,,,,but I would like to see a video of it hashing at 22 g/hash first! before i Bid on it... sounds familiar huh?  Cheesy

It's not me. Interesting case design though. Smiley
Looks a little large for only 4 k16s. I would assume it could house more. I like the definite delivery date.

(Side note: My eBay seller ID is knightlife999 and I have 200+ feedback.)
Yes it is interesting,,,,Hey I know your seller ID I have seen ya in there,,,lol,,,but was almost coincidental...and I was only kidding you know Smiley Your now one of the most respected in here, you have contributed a lot...

I am usually the last person to yell SCAM,  but I would never trust anyone on ebay with ZERO feedback. Especially with big $$$$$ items.  The case appears as if its rendered, the rest just stock product art. So I doubt it even exists yet. Grin

Agree,,,but it looks and sounds nice on paper (ebay) lol
3639  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: August 02, 2013, 03:25:38 AM
At a minimum, I am sure you will have to configure your main pool and failover pool in cgminer.  I don't know if they will include a configuration script or GUI to streamline the process.  If not, there are plenty of Cgminer config guides for setting up pools etcetera.  Usually USB devices don't require much configuration in Cgminer.  Maybe at most a USB driver installation.  Nothing like setting up a GPU and clocking it.  ;-)

Good! cause gpu setups are a Biatch....lol,,,,, and lock up occasionally....lol
