I heard tomorro price will skyrocket to the moon. (~110099$) - it is because China will ban bitcoin 8th time this month and all people of China will migrate to USA and buy all bitcoins! Smiley I dunno why - read it on www.thisisimpossible.com Cheesy

And to be honest - I am worried to this little drop today ... as I need to sell some BTC and pay bills Cheesy
You got the "pay bills" part right!  Wink

I only sell out of necessity lol

Everybody relax BTC is fine and just going through the motions of growth.... we have seen a nice landing and leveling/cooling off period and I'm sure its getting ready to rebound Smiley don't ask me how I know cause I can't explain it...lol,,, sorry no charts here

On the topic of mining, I can envision that some day in the future, hopefully before the time when/if big miners get discouraged, that I will start seeing "Bitcoin Inside" logos on computer boxes when I go to my local computer store.  The only thing the customer buying the computer needs to know is that the "Bitcoin Inside" logo means that they are supporting the network.

I know I'm dreaming, but I can see a time when every home computer will eventually have some kind of low power mining device (maybe with an energy and speed rating).  And, I know I'm dating myself here, but I am reminded of the early days when computers started selling with modems preinstalled.  This mining device could just mine completely transparent and separate form any OS on the system, and even be configured to always stay on.  Maybe this device could charge up some hardware wallet or bitcoin stick that comes with the computer from the processed transactions and rewards if any.  Large companies could configure all the proceeds from mining done by the computers in their employees cubicles to go into the company wallet.

In short, even if large miners become so disincentivised that they stop mining altogether, it doesn't mean that there are no other scenarios that will play out to keep the current bitcoin network alive for many years.  And hopefully this would be a gradual and less painless process than we are imagining now.
Interesting thought lol, as you know the mining business.. especially for BTC and the network of course is in a true arms race now,. The only ones I see really profiting continually will be those who are selling hashing shares with a ton of fee's or the lucky few who buy enough mining power to make a quick buck before difficulty renders their machines useless. I don't see any individuals making a true return in the long haul,,,, kinda like a money pit. BUT the ONLY thing that will keep people involved in the mining for BTC is if the actual value rockets as like when over 900 for weeks earlier,, then even the small miner whether cloud hashing or rig hashing, can see a profit,,, then if it went to 14,000 a coin then everyone's mining and happy :0

Ya know what's ironic, is a majority of all the asic mining gear/chips etc in use today comes from the china foundry's. I'm sure they have no problems with that side of it all..... and one would think that the Chinese gov would want to be a leader in this new technology and get out ahead of the usa in its development. I really think in time we will see a shift in their stance towards BTC when they really understand it and the potential it has, much that has yet to be developed. So hang on tight,,,, I for one really don't think its and open and shut case yet by a long shot over there Smiley

"an old trend may not be your friend."

we're in a reversal... weather it drops lower or not is irrelevant.

How can it be a reversal without resolution on the China Issue? The Chinese have hundreds of thousands, possibly millions of BTC to dump if they panic when one of the major exchanges goes dark. They will be a minor force for fiat flow into BTC for a long time and a potentially major flow out. Trends don't reverse on their own. Something has to happen, like when Silk Road closed or when Gox finally died. At the minimum, support has to be tested with volume.

the China issue is done. I seriously doubt poeple in china only now heard that china banned bitcoin.

and guess what, chinese poeple like HODLING too....

That's exactly right, they aren't just going to give up their BTC that easy,,,, lol as u say, they like hodling too! I'm sure they hope that the PBOC will come back with some exceptions or guidance just like we have here in the states, and we finally are! No mention of banning here Smiley

You´re right, they seem to be a bit uninformed about how bad it really looks I just wrote an e-mail to CNBC to keep them up to date about the upcoming CHINA tragedy that is about to happen. Maybe we will soon see some new updated analysis from them.

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Edit: Also MtGOX is fact and no FUD. China news right now are a bit FUDdish but will soon proven to be rock solid facts.

FACT: MtGox is FUD, it has not had fundamental weight on the market since withdrawals were halted. you have had all the facts you could hope for from china, and the market is strong. by the 14th, the downtrend will be OVER.
That's right  Wink
3029  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 06, 2014, 03:13:12 AM
I think you guys are putting just a bit to much weight into what China may or may not do, yes I know its significant in the short run, but we all need to realize there is so many more markets coming on line that the China syndrome will be less a factor, just look at BTC resolving its own issues as we speak. Its going to come back, there really is only one direction to go and that is back up  Cheesy

I personally wouldn't give a shit about China if market would not too. But since it does, I have no choice.
True, I guess if your holding 100 BTC or more its a big deal lol
3030  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 06, 2014, 03:11:25 AM
By the way, as seen on the hourly bars, we have had a nice progression the last few days. I feel comfortable.

Agree, BTC has been very stable for 4 days now, albeit frighteningly low at its low point... it keeps chipping away and erasing it previous days average low...

My first post , and first coin to mine on launch day , some advices ??
Hey welcome aboard lol

In addition to what's been said, just hope the coin launches on time and doesn't fork at the 500 or so block like Zeitcoin .... beyond that, hope that the pool stays up and have fun and watch the rare time of mining with a low difficulty and hope all those coins your mining are worth something in 12-24 hours lol ") and make it to your wallet.

what caused ZeitCoin to fork @block 500
I never did find a clear answer but it stuck and I moved on to another coin. Something in the wallet-Qt  Of course it was all very aggravating and time wasted.
