.....
Anyway - keep the good work! Hopefully it brings good fruits.

6th post is here (first allowed after 5 in newbie).  And registered yesterday.  Do i possibly smell something weird from TH or TH supporter ...... yes i do.

Possibly, however there is actually enough non-conjecture to cause alarm to even go into that. For example, what office start-up doesn't have net access? Didn't someone state they were told that?
Hey atominc,,,that post was BS,,,satire as he called it,,,they have internet etc,,,he was kidding with that post ... no internet etc... not sure how they would test mine/hash without it...  Wink

My TH refund experience:

Started on approx June 24 late at night.

Finally got my refund today.  PAINFUL and HORRIBLE process with TH in my case.  Now that i got it i will post.

I had originally asked in a paypal dispute.  Did not know about ticket system for refunds. Note if you open a dispute it will automatically mark you as refunded on thier site this is not true!  Don't get false hope out of seeing it there, its automatic with a paypal dispute with their system.

After i read about ticket system on here, put in multiple tickets asking for help.  No response given in timely manner.  Turned into claim once paypal would let me. The claim triggered a response on one of my tickets. At this point finally got a response from TH they basically threatened me in email saying close claim or let paypal decide it.  They had no interest in working within paypal for my refund, only to get a claim closed against them (dispute they didn't care about it seemed only claim got any attention).

So at this point had claim opened.  Waiting for TH to respond within paypal with their side so paypal could judge case.  They never even responded, so had to wait till their timeline was over to submit their side.

Finally today was able to call paypal since TH's time had expired on responding.  Paypal ruled in my favor.  The money is on its way back and will be spent in another venture.

So final thoughts took me from June 24th to July 5th to get my money back.  Hope your refunds go easier then mine, and if not i feel your pain!

WOW,, thx for sharing the expereince,, a little unnerving huh? so what do your recomend first,,file a cancel/refund request with TH, Then wait...and how long before opening dispute with PP?  OR file a dispute first with PP...clarify  Smiley especialy on the close claim against them part?

wonder how long it will take MinermanNC and his ilk to start whining again...     this thread should be renamed the whiner line.     Thanks TH - most of us never doubted for a second.

I think this update addresses NONE of the issues that we are all concerned about.
Why would they make this 2 sentence update and not address anything else? Is it really so difficult to take 5 minutes for a little communication?

I would agree.  The case.... its a case.  And circuit we get to see a led light.   BKK has put TH to shame on progress.    Unanswered tickets, other problems still out there.
Agreed... For some, this little tidbit ( 2 sentences and 2 pictures) seems to have satisfied them as intended by TH. and I will try to continue to give them the benefit of the doubt, as I have. But this still falls short in comparison to the progress we get from BKK who claims he is not been in touch with TH at all if any? and what ever happened to the order queue/chip count email anyways? lol...Oh there I go again whining,,,sorry lubah Smiley
3764  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: July 05, 2013, 02:51:53 PM
We are making considerable progress, both with the circuit and the enclosure. I will post an update here and well as an email to everyone, including pictures in the next half an hour.

+1 WHEW!
The jury is still out...lol But agreed for now Smiley

Here comes the brown nosers again....
keep kissing butt sucker, we'll see... Smiley

not sure what your definition of whining is? Sighting incompetence and misleading statements for almost 3 weeks is not whining,,get real

I will PM cryptcoin and see if he is interested in assisting with " The Co-op List" He has done a really good job creating and maintaing the order queue list for us all, since we have had nothing else to go on, and has done a super job with it. We should all at least try to send him a small thank you coin if nothing else,,,maybe at least .01 or more...if we havent already,,,it all adds up Smiley And remember this is just a maybe" list, but will keep us all together in here in case the worst happens with Th and perhaps give us some alternatives. I and hopefully others will take interest and contribute any expertise and idea's that could help it along if gets any traction.. Smiley

EDIT: I just sent cryptoin a note and copy of original post, ask if he would be interested in helping to start and maintain a list for us,,,told him I would understand fully if he does not want to, he has already contributed greatly on his own time...he seem like a pretty good guy either way... but to even get started we need someone with his skills to keep track of things. will follow up tomorrow, its late here.

Isn't it ironic all these side projects that are going on with developers that have normal day jobs somehow find the time to post, and during a business holiday in the US, Terrahash still cannot find the time to post even a quick blurb. It has now reached the time that I call it a scam. I think most of you that are buying are the same type of person that I am, and dabble in multiple things at a time, and somehow still find time to come in the forums. It's obvious that Terrahash has no valid excuse at this point. Who the hell cares if it is a holiday weekend, there is no such thing if things such as a simple communication to your base is neglected for days.

There is nothing that could be said at this point that would tell me this was anything other than a project gone bad, and they decided to save themselves. Idiotic too, as all they had to do is simply post and they could have strung people along much, much longer.

Done. Paypal dispute being submitted on Monday, not waiting for any response. Any anger sensed in this message is directed only at myself for not seeing through this sooner.
Hey atomic, glad to see you again...Don't beat yourself up over this....we are all dissapointed. Even if they throw us a bone, i surely do not want to be part of another BFL senario. But your right here it is a U.S. Holiday for most but many make the time to check in on things anyways,,,,and mining is 24/7 for all of us. Apparently TH does'nt understand that. Anyways let me or us know what your results are with PP and TH,,,as I feel we will all be crossing that bridge soon...I hope we are all wrong on this one,,,but its not looking good for the home team Smiley ok,,, also, keep in touch just in case we can get something with a coop seeded. In the meantime lets all keep mining with what we have!

PLEASE READ GUYS"

COOP it UP!!!!!!! Just be sure you have you escrow and get yourself a good fab set up as well. Wish you luck. Why more people don't join forces in this manner is beyond me.
Hey Thanks for the encouragement! Like I said I/we may be knocking at your door....stay tuned! thanks again, lets see how this ball rolls, your the best.

EDIT: In the meantime I will be studying up on what you advised for starters!  Wink

You all know, as a whole, we represent quite a bit of buying power. ......Open for ideas and suggestions Smiley

I think this is a good idea, if TH turns out to be less than promised... I would totally be interested in that case, but I'm not ready to pull my order just yet.  We still have about a month to cancel with paypal.  In that time we should see TH letting us know where they are on the boards and receiving their chips.  That being said, the fact that TH has been online here and NOT posting does make one wonder, combined with the lack of response some have been reporting in the ticket system and difficulty getting them on the phone it doesn't look good, regardless of what may or may not be actually going on.  Going with KnC is a bigger investment than I have on TH, without much change.  It could be a hard choice depending on what we see from TH in the next couple weeks.  Maybe I'll just end up adding more GPUs to my LTC rig  ;P
Hey Im with ya in that regard...but many plan to cancel within the 45 day range, myself included. But have not thrown in the towel yet. But would be nice to have a list of interested folks. And its only a "Would Be Interested List". and I am looking at the same options as well, doubling my GPU farm which is lite coining right now...so I hear ya Smiley
3770  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: July 05, 2013, 02:33:42 AM
We hope to open it up in the near future, but that doesn't stop people from doing their own COOP.

Better to have everyone in the group take on risk over a single person or company. Individuals and companies tend to have self interest at heart most of the time.

Buy the way, this is who I am refering to, I hope he doesn't mind...many of you may know of him. Again, he planted the seed in my mind yesterday with this statement. Smiley

You all know, as a whole, we represent quite a bit of buying power. According to Cryptoin (our handy in house accountant)  Cheesy thats about 600,000- thats a lot of chips! what 20k+ . This is just food for thought, there are others who are successfully creating co-ops (cooperatives) and buying groups etc. I am not an expert on this, but know of someone who is in the forums. We are all facing the same dilemma,,,we want to mine, but need new gear, ASICS. we can keep getting dicked around with start up companys like this one, or move on to another one, and wait and wait  only to see the difficulty level out run getting our machines, ultimately with not a whole lot of money in it as there was when ordered. Anyways, if someone MAYBE CRYPTOIN? wants to create a new thread for any of us who perhaps would be interested in a co-op, (effort) then we can at least put our name in the hat. if we can identify a key experienced person to lead it and help point us in the right directions to make getting asics a reality quicker, and more affordable, then where we seem to be at now. So before we all cancel and disband from this thread, and chance our money somewhere else lets at least put out names together in a new thread, just in case we see an avenue to to work together in getting our own boards/miners produced ( or join in with another successful co-op ) It may sound crazy, but if theres enough interest, I will PM the best man I know in the forums for guidance and see if its even do-able. He works closely with bkkcoins and heads his own co-op and is doing it right!  ok, post some comments if you at least would be interested,,,no commitments required, but while we are all still here in this thread with as much power as we have,,it may be worth exploring. Cryptoin, if your reading this ,,,and enough want to stay informed, please help us with a new thread,,you are good at this stuff..me I'm just a thinker and a dreamer Smiley maybe call it the "600k cooperative" j/k we can work on that later. Ok., The one person Im thinking of paid us a brief visit in here last night and saw what we are going through...you will see his post responding back to mine yesterday. He is the man, and he mentioned why not look into our own cooperative? enough said gang. Open for ideas and suggestions..

I think TH is stuck in the mud with a major cash crunch. I won' t wait till after my 45 day paypal limit for them to figure things out. I need something to go on this week or Im outta here and on to a new company with a new order. This is ridiculus

Yeah i'm with you. Monday night / Tuesday to hear something or i will cancel as well. No response,no answers and  no communication i wouldn't risk anyone waiting past the 45 days paypal limit.

I'll go with that - some communication by Tuesday, or I'm cancelling.

I've already cancelled. PayPal dispute will be next week if no response. I am of opinion to give them a few days to respond, as a long weekend. However if it was my business I would be working 7 days a week answering queries considering that some large sums are involved..

I've done a lot of contracting in my life and have found that when something starts off bad it usually doesn't get better. I'm also happy to be proven wrong.
How did you go about cancelling? Contact TH by phone or thru the "Contact Support" Tab on their website? ok share what ya can in that regard and how it goes! And yes I have started several small businesses, the first 30 days it was 24/7 live and breath it till it fell in order,,,then take a breather!

The klondike projects are going quite well also.
Yes they are. Smiley
3774  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: July 04, 2013, 08:01:39 PM
Has anybody issued a paypal refund and gotten it already?

I am considering canceling for a refund and buying some btc at these low prices instead.

I have 3 K16's on order 2 that are supposedly in batch #1 (order #528), if I refund for $750, I could get about ~8+ btc right now.
I think someone in thread cancelled with paypal, and went ok,,,if i see it I will post it. But others have complained also? I will give them a chance to put through the cancellation,,,if things dont go quickly,,,i will call paypal etc. I feel TH started out with good intentions, but hit to many snags and are overwelmed. What else could it be? If things were in motion for them they would be happy to tell us,,,so,,,,Like I said, this week coming up is going to have to be it for me. Looking hard at KNcMiner, may would be late in the year to get it,,,but bigger G/Hash, proven systems, for less $ per G/hash...and things are straight with paypal for them..so, we'll see.

Im still troubled by the fact that Thanks coins has not heard a peep from terrahash for sometime now and has no idea of what they are doing, I trust bkkcoins. So we have not heard a peep and he has not head a peep....so whats up? Has anybody requested a refund and actually got it back, that is not paypal, but (wire or BTC). This whole thing is spooky. I feel they have got into a finacial jam. starting with cloudhashing cancelling. from there they they made the bold move to to attempt "crowd funding" with an early order opportunity to raise capital. But then Paypal froze the account and placed it into review. So the only real funds they may have raised have had to be in either wires or BTC payments.... but that was inadequate at best for them?...so now here we all are wondering whats next. I dare speculate that maybe they are trying to make it to the 45 day Paypal funds release....and continue with there work? or maybe all is fine and they will soon be announcing a working board and shipping dates Smiley  maybe we are all just getting a little paranoid...but with good reasons...I am still trying to give them benefit of the doubt" but the silence treatment" is getting old. Terrahash, if your reading this and you are in a jam, tell us so and what your plan is, most of us can understand and may be willing to work with you or help perhaps? But we can't if you don't tell us so.

+1

PS.  Terrahash,  for all the whining from MinermanNC,  can you please move his order to the bottom of the que.  Smiley.    JK. Smiley

Thanks

lol hey Zurg...wassup
