Just give them time, regardless of their own timelines, yes everyone agrees it is shitty for a company to make a promise and then be late on said promise (Note I didn't say break). But understand that them posting a video up won't get your boards any quicker.

THE ONLY TIMELINE THAT MATTERS IS THE TWO WEEK TIMELINE FROM WHEN THEY RECEIVE THE CHIPS TO DELIVERY.

You are absolutely right, good point.  But should I keep my order hoping they will stick to the only timeline that matters, even if they haven't stuck to any of the other ones that admittedly don't matter as much?  I don't know how to answer that at this point.  Hoping TH will show us something that pulls people back off the fence.  We all want to see them succeed, but nobody wants to be on a perpetual waiting list.

Apparently, their Timeline is a tactic, DELAY DELAY throw the dogs a bone here and there, until after Paypal releases the funds,,, then after that they own us and we are 100% at their mercy..... its becoming pretty clear

In the spirit of honest reporting, I am going to report my Terrahash experience to date:
I purchased one 18g/h machine on June 20th and was debating buying more.
That next morning I decided to make a call.
My phone call was taken and my questions regarding ship dates, chip purchases, board manufacturing and overall warranty were all answered with patience and due diligence.
The professional manner in which I was treated led me to purchase one more 18g/h machine and a 4.5 g/h machine.
I have also emailed additional questions that was answered in the form of blogs and postings via Terrahash.
If reporting this makes me a "brown-noser" or some other name-inducing comment, so be it. I am simply reporting my experience, and my response to said experience, in order for the community to make informed decisions regarding Terrahash.
I would rate my experience with Terrahash to date as good.
Peace.
Well that's lovely....call em today and ask them where are promised video/pic of a hashing board is then! and for those requesting a refund, ask them why they are not honoring those request promptly? ok, get on it! Please report back with more lovely news to share with us......
Peace

Ok. I will go and visit their office on wednesday or thursday. I'm suffering with kidney stones, but I will go and take pictures and video. I originally wanted to go in a couple of weeks to see them "in production". I'll go earlier to quell the mob and preserve my investment. I don't want to get negative, but please do not ride me. I am an ex-cop, martial arts instructor, and veteran forex currency invesment manager. I don't tell you this to puff myself up. I want you to understand who you are dealing with. I don't take well to being pushed by people and I stick by my word. Please be patient for a couple of days and I'll give you guys a report on what I find. One of the main reasons I am doing this, is because I don't want anyone to jeopardize my orders with TH. If I can sooth everyone's nerves and calm you down, maybe you will allow these guys to do what we have paid them to do. I know that they have not been as communicative as many would like. However, could you imagine how stressful it would be to deal with such a high maintenance client base?

When I was trading forex for a living, I used to tell clients not to invest money that they could not afford to lose. Some did not listen to me, and were calling me for updates every day, terrified and needing reassurance. It made me hate my job, and after 10 years, I decided to restrict trading to professional clients alone. This is a risk intensive market we are invested in. If you can't afford to lose the money you're putting into it, I would recommend staying with something safer. "You don't invest your rent money" is what I always used to say. Once again, I am not saying what to do one way or the other, but I am seeing this transaction through. If they come through with my boards in the general time frame promised, I will most likely buy more. Who knows, maybe they will start building BFL based boards in the future if our batches come through. So, please take a breath and wait until I report what I find. I have to restate that I am passing kidney stones. If I can't make it on wednesday due to pain, I will go on thursday for certain. I'll take pics and video. I give you my word. Try to not worry.
Nice, but don't make commitments or promises you cant keep please. We have enough of that already from Terrahash. Your intentions sound good and all, but its just fancy talk until you actually do it. And we/I don't really care to see your life's resume posted in here. It means nothing. We all could post our credentials if we wanted, but realize it serves no purpose and would double the size of this thread. Just do it and quit talking about it. And I'm real sorry about the kidney stones, I have them twice and was the most painful experience in my life! Tomorrows weds so will you go or just keep talking about it? Shit or get off the pot Smiley Thank you.

He has not submitted his information to the database under his username however he could have submitted it anonymously or just not submitted it.  I sent a PM to get details.

Nevermind.  I just saw his follow up post with the order numbers.  It checks out.
Hey cryptoin, I don't think all his grandeur was needed or will make one a bit of difference,,, so thanks anyways!

Hey gang, sure looks like I have been missing out of lots of in here the last 2 days! Sorry I have been traveling while on vacation. But I'm settled in now with my laptop...seems the brown noser's out in full force in here....ok, will chime in later! oh and I see no video yet?  lol

Are you calling me the brown noser?! I'm not even invested here, I just don't want to see peeps that stupidly didn't pay by protected payment methods, loose their monies because a few want to create a stamped earlier than they need to. Dick.
No I wasn't referring to you...but if the shoe fits" wear it...lol

I'm certainly going to visit Terrahash's office and see how things are going. I've been planning on doing that since I first signed up on their site in May. I am not going to be building any boards with them, but I will take pictures and report on what I see. I used to be a cop, and I have no personal interest other than verifying that we are going to get our products. I'll reiterate that I'm not worried.

You are more than welcome to visit us. Multiple people have visited our office ever since we started operation.

Sorry about the video, it will be uploaded soon.
10-4 Thanks!
3728  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: July 08, 2013, 11:57:57 AM

Wait a minute...Does anybody know anything about this guy?...cryptoin does he have these orders?....sorry just don't recall seeing him in here before??? he sounds to good to be true. Please correct me if I'm wrong....and I don't see him on the chip list? Sounds like to me he's a plant by terrahash?...and all this crap about spreading his orders around? huh? and a Jr member with a low stat.... I ain't buying it...sorry,,, and we all know about all the other asic miner company's and their status in the world, we don't need a recap! sounds like a bunch of BS to me...ok, hope I'm wrong,,, but I wasn't wrong about NOT getting a follow up video on a hashing board.... that's all we were looking for! Once again, nothing more is expected than what they tell to expect! PS: knightlife,,,anything short of a video of the front of their office with displayed address and a video of you and Amir and all the techs working on the boards and hashing" and a video of the new case we saw on the floor they ordered a hundred of ....then maybe I will be sold on this so called visit. we shouldn't even need anything like this! they just need to be straight up with us....where is the video we were told to EXPECT.. again, ridiculous!

Hey Minerman. My order numbers are 565 and 1304. When I added my orders to the queue, I did not list my username. I have been watching these boards for months and am thoroughly invested in bitcoin mining. Joe Ventura knows I'm legitimate and we are working together on my mining operation.

Other than verification of my place in the TH order queue, you can check me out on eBay where I'm selling radeon scrypt miner settings and 114 BFL chip credits at the moment. My present chip credits alone prove I have at least 456 GH/s on preorder with BFL (I actually have more). I have 157.5 GH/s on order with Terrahash at present. I'm not going to post my Avalon, Bitmine, and KNC orders for your perusal. Just suffice to say, I have ordered over $40k worth of hashing power. I've been ordering asics since last December, and I build Litecoin mining rigs. Just because I have not been posting here does not mean I haven't been reading everyone's posts and using your threads to keep up on what's happening in the community.

Thank you for the offer of gas money Joe and Carpenter. TH office is just south of SF where my office is located. I'll be fine for travel expenses. I'm planning on going in the next two to three weeks. One reason I wanted to wait is I would like to go when their operation is closer to being ready. That way we will get a better idea of how quickly they will be able to fulfill our orders. Side note, I'm home the next week or two trying to pass kidney stones, so I'm not driving into my office in SF. Very painful to say the least...

I'm not telling anyone to do one thing or another thing in regards to their orders. That's your choice. I'm staying with them and I'm planning on receiving my boards in August as they've reported. I like many people's insights here and enjoy reading your posts. When I noticed that people were coming a little unhinged I decided to speak up. What I'm trying to say is, try not to worry, there are boots on the ground here.

I'm planning on going in the next two to three weeks
Ya, just in time for Paypal to expire,,,how nice...not much help there...... Don't waste your time or gas.
3729  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: July 08, 2013, 03:20:54 AM
Wouldni it be best if TH just refunded everyone that wants out, and then opeened all there klondikes back up for sale.  Since avalaon chips have not arrived it shouldnt set them back on development.

also it would show there legitimacy, and they could put the no refund rule on all there second sells.

I understand they are worried at this point to lose their customers, because they do not have a huge profit margin to work with, but they must also see that they have enough followers to buy back all their lost customers very quickly without having any breach of contract problems.

P.S. hey terrahash if you have any orders looking for an out in btc id buy their contracts... would love the 30% discount to refund their btc at current levels
Now how the hec do you know what their profit margin is?...another assumption on your part...geez your dumber than I thought.
3730  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: July 08, 2013, 03:01:59 AM
Hey guys. I wanted to weigh in on the discussion. I have 35 K16s on order with Terrahash. I live in the Bay Area and work in SF. I'm planning on stopping by TH/s office to say hello and see how things are going. I am planning on giving a full report after I make the visit. I'm not worried. I bought through Paypal, and am satisfied that I have buyer protection. I have not called Terrahash in the past week, but every time I have called (3 times so far) they have answered the phone and given me satisfactory answers. They have also replied to my emails in the past. I think they are making a good faith effort to fulfill their obligations to us. I am not a shill, and I understand everyone's frustration. I think that with what we have been through in the waiting game with BFL and Avalon everyone is on edge. I have 1.3 TH/s of miners on order with BFL, Bitmine, Avalon, Terrahash, and KNC. It's been depressing (at times VERY depressing) to think of how long we have had to wait for our pre-orders. I'm going to be patient. They are only 30 minutes away from where I work. I have a good feeling that we will get our miners as promised in August. I'm not necessarily expecting anything miraculous out of BFL or Avalon before then. Maybe we'll get those orders or maybe they'll be pushed back to September or October. As for KNC, who knows. Maybe we'll get the most awesome miners in the world to date, or maybe not. All of these purchases are a risk related investment. That's why I spread my funds between 5 companies. I still feel that Terrahash will very likely get our products to us before the other companies. Let them work and get our boards ready. I'll keep you guys posted regarding my upcoming visit.

Wait a minute...Does anybody know anything about this guy?...cryptoin does he have these orders?....sorry just don't recall seeing him in here before??? he sounds to good to be true. Well its 6:51 Th time..... of course they did post late last nite, AND it was a Friday nite, so i will give them that much.... give credit when its due....lol. I actually went to bed last nite excited about tonite,,,,,,thinking about seeing our new boards hashing away.... everyone was  thrilled, could almost feel the excitement through my PC, and BTC was on the rise almost up to $200 a coin!,,,,and then I woke up Sad
3732  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: July 07, 2013, 01:50:09 AM

Since they actually send out emails with their updates I should probably leave this thread as there's nothing here of importance (Even though it does give me some joy to rub real life in your face a little)

I think we can all agree that would be a great idea!
Ya know what Atomic, I think bargraphics is full of bologna (nice for BS) 8 - T.hash?.....I think he's on crack, probably never even mined before, a newbie....
3733  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: July 07, 2013, 01:47:05 AM
I am with people which fight terrahash, because I think that the reason  Amir  speak and give us news and updates  Huh Huh Huh

Your exactly right, otherwise we probably would hear nothing...
3734  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: July 07, 2013, 01:38:51 AM
Terrahash has already stated that refunds would be granted, yet they are fight all the Paypal claims. They have got to be the most non-saavy business people around. I'm sure they're very technical, but holy cow.

My claim hasn't went anywhere yet either, as expected. Love the pro-terrahashers that are simply hoping their support will make Terrahash throw them a cookie.

So this shows yet another example of a broken promise. Everyone go back and read the cloudhashing article, I'm starting to wonder if it was justified after all. I bashed them as I thought what they did to TH was lame, but some points in the article are very similar to what we are now experiencing. I'm sure in the end, it will come to light that they are just horrible at running a business and dealing with customers. How fortunate to be in an area with such High demand.

Reminds me to donate to the frequent posters running other projects I am a part of, as so many of them aren't doing this as a primary business and yet find time to provide updates.

I wish they were honoring refunds so we can get you guys out of this thread Sad
Well start a new thread the for all you azz kiss'n brown nosers who think their going to score with Terrahash,,,,the rest of serious experienced business minded people will stay here and bitch all we want  Wink

Edit: In other words, leave if you don't like it!

Silly Kid,

Some of us don't put all of our money into one venture and we definitely don't put money that we can't afford to lose.

Terrahash would equal 240GH out of the 8 TH I have on order with other companies. It just pains me to see children constantly complaining about every little detail of a startup company. If you don't like it then don't order from them again and just use paypal claims/credit card dispute to get your money back. It doesn't matter what happens between now and the delivery date they put out. Once that date comes then we can take a look at Terrahash as a company.

Stop being needy whiny children.

I come to this thread to see if Terrahash responds but all I get is crying, bitching, and moaning.

Since they actually send out emails with their updates I should probably leave this thread as there's nothing here of importance (Even though it does give me some joy to rub real life in your face a little)

Oh, since you put it like that, were sorry. we will never speak badly of TH or any start company that made commiments they didn't keep. For myself and the others, please do except out sincerest, most humble apologies. Sorry if we in any way offended you or made you feel uncomfortable in this thread. Please do forgive us oh mighty hasher one. Can we bring you anything while you count your T/hash's? a cold drink or a spot of tea perhaps?

Thats why I have been giving thought to forming a Co-op for anyone interested. I live close to Research Triangle Park, plenty of board developers and surface mount folks here (there not all just in silcon valley)......just need the moola, boards and open source codes, and chippies,,,and we have asics,,,lol but seriously, it could be done. keep ya posted if things go badly here...which I hope they don't Smiley
3739  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: July 06, 2013, 06:22:53 PM
refund requests are being denied:

7/6/2013 04:51 PDT - PayPal: Buyer escalated this dispute to a Claim.

7/6/2013 04:51 PDT - Buyer: The company has stated that they will be delivering sometime in late july or august, however I would still like a refund and no longer want the product from this company.

7/5/2013 19:28 PDT - Seller: Our website says all sales are final, because all the products are made on order. When you ordered, you were promised a delivery date of late July to early August, and we are still on track to deliver your product within the promised time-frame.

7/5/2013 18:43 PDT - Buyer: Please cancel and refund in it's entirety order numbers #528 and #1079

edit: is their paypal account still under review?
edit 2: i would suggest everybody request a refund, we are the market, we can make or break these companies.
That is very interesting... one thing is for sure,,for Th to survive and be strong, it will need a good relationship with Paypal, and Im sure thats what they want as a company. I know the cancellation request have to hurt that relationship with PP. But with that said, anyone should have the right to cancel any unreceived order...whether it be TH, amazon.com, newegg, etc etc,,the onus is on the seller to accomodate and keep its customers happy, lets see how it goes...
3740  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: July 06, 2013, 06:09:04 PM
Again...  Let them cancel, make the units anyway, then sell them at a mark-up once assembled. I dont think youll have a problem moving them.  Youll sell out at a larger profit margin in less than an hour.

If thats brown nosing, sure I am a brown noser, but seems to me that everyone would win in that situation.  everyone who wants a refund gets one, terrahash makes more profit, and less whining.

whatever,,,,wheres my video! lol

EDIT: you guys know im just pokin fun,,, we all want the same things here in the end. TH does need to at least do what they "tell us" they will do,,,thats what started all this bitch'n in the first place....
