3261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MTC][CPU mining] Metiscoin | new secure hashing, NO PREMINE| LAUNCHED! on: January 21, 2014, 11:16:12 PM
Things were hashing quite nicely until they stopped pool?  See what they do....

I haven't done much research as I just saw this coin 2 hrs ago! lol, but I notice it only taps 4 threads with the present miner config. Anyways, so I just run 2 miners (with different worker names of course) with the 6 and 8 core systems. It seems to balance the hashing power accordingly.

Looks good bud. I second Dyoungii's proposal.

Cool, I will be watching and waiting Smiley
3263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SBC] From Death Comes Life – The Rebirth of StableCoin - URGENT UPDATE on: December 25, 2013, 01:08:51 AM
Don't know if this will help but I just restarted my miner and everything was fine after that. Shares are accepted and I get what I mine. Try paying out some small amount to be sure it works, that is the best way to test it I think.
Seems credit is building in the unconfirmed but not confirming?...I never have this many unconfirms and 0 confirms. also, looks like about 600 coins have not credited to my cryptsy account,,, the ones shown in the transactions with no blocks or showing n/a ....  not good Sad last payout was at 14:00 or 2pm today.... into my cryptsy account.
3264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SBC] From Death Comes Life – The Rebirth of StableCoin - URGENT UPDATE on: December 25, 2013, 12:48:43 AM
Artos I have some serious issues at Cryptoculture Pool where users are not getting payouts and I think it has to do with a possible mismatch between Linux and Windows StableCoin Clients

I recently upgraded to 1.4 on my pool which uses Ubuntu.   I also downloaded the Windows client.  It appears the Linux and Windows clients are on different forks even though they are supposed to be the same 1.4 version... they are mining at different blockchain heights, also notice the difficulties are not the same.

When I do getinfo on the Ubuntu Server I get this
{
    "version" : 1040000,
    "protocolversion" : 1040000,
    "walletversion" : 60000,

    "blocks" : 314360,
    "connections" : 0,
    "proxy" : "",
    "difficulty" : 3.66631454,
    "testnet" : false,
    "keypoololdest" : 1387902646,
    "keypoolsize" : 101,
    "paytxfee" : 0.00000000,
    "mininput" : 0.00010000,
    "errors" : ""
}

Windows 1.4 Client I get this

{
"version" : 1040000,
"protocolversion" : 1040000,
"walletversion" : 60000,

"blocks" : 313979,
"connections" : 16,
"proxy" : "",
"difficulty" : 2.16682822,
"testnet" : false,
"keypoololdest" : 1385871005,
"keypoolsize" : 101,
"paytxfee" : 0.00000000,
"mininput" : 0.00010000,
"errors" : ""
}

Miner is still hashing and shares accepted, so are we on the blockchain or a fork right now? PS: Luv this pool please correct issues! Smiley
Merry Christmas!

Terrahash must be  millionaires by now at 700.00 bux a BTC  "fall in shit and come out smelling like a rose" who wouda thunk... lol
3269  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Good price at CEX.io on: November 14, 2013, 12:28:17 AM

Well - we all have our own opinions - but if you just buy the Ghs and hold on to them then you will loose just like any mining atm.  If you buy low and sell high/or same price then you win.

I am up 1.2BTC at the moment from trading and mining. Its a great way of staying mining with the current issues of ROI.
It's better to trade alts than GH/s.
I would agree until todays alt crash.... im sitting on a lot, and my account balance is shrinking by the hour  lol
3270  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cex.io help please on: November 14, 2013, 12:20:55 AM
I see alot of people talking about cex.io and buying gh there etc. and I dont understand the concept of the website at all. Would anyone be kind enough to explain?
For me on CEX.io over a week now  up to about 7ghs most of it bought with alt coin sales from gpu mining. With that said, i am super impressed with the CEX.IO concept and now they have merged 3 alt coins to the mix. I plan to move most of my focus on cloud type hashing as far as BTC goes,,,will still alt mine as it feeds my G/Hash funds lol,,,I like it so far highy recommend.....and and have also wihdrawn funds and all went smooth.

3274  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: October 07, 2013, 11:51:39 AM

Lol I was thinking the exact same thing Smiley and probably Bar was too.....
3275  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: October 03, 2013, 12:12:29 AM
Silkroad being gone is actually good for Bitcoin. Sure, it helped in its infancy, however Bitcoin's next step is to be accepted by large corporate entities, and this will definitely help clear up its image some.

Besides, think out of the box a bit. By 2015, there will be a movie that takes us through the journey of the rise and fall of SR, along with the murder for hire plot against FriendlyChemist.

When that movie hits, bitcoins will once again get a lot of press and bring new people to look into it.
Heh, I just read up on the SR bust and saw the BTC value wow...,,, but like you said hopefully the image will improve now for BTC...seems to be coming up a bit already since reading the artical,,,,

Anyone still having luck with refunds through Paypal.  Just tried myself and was shot down saying they are familiar with the situation and suggest i go through my credit card company.  I will try again later before I head to the CC companies.
Hey Cryptoin! Welcome back Smiley

Justin / Amir - I believe the best thing you can do at this point is simply answer the questions, and keep in communications with everyone. While those related with Terrahash are clearly going through a very bad time right now, those who purchased from you are as well, and you owe those that believed in you and lost because of it an open line of communications.

It's been stated many times that communications and customer service was probably you main downfall. Do the following:

  • Provide Bargraphics or whoever else is seeking to contact you, your info, with the agreement that they will only communicate with you on legal proceedings
  • Provide everyone a timeline of communications that you agree to stick to in order to provide updates, so people aren't left hanging for your next message
  • Provide as much transparency into your expenses as possible - Noone here was really an investor, but everyone took on that role when you used our funds to fund your venture, and you owe people that you stated will only get 50% back, an answer to where the money was spent
  • Explain the Cloudhashing situation, so this doesn't muddy the waters with your promise of 50% refunds
  • Provide exact details and timeframes on your refund promise
  • Update your webpage to spell out that you are no longer in business, and possibly use that to communicate out to customers if you would prefer not to do it here
Thats right, provide a date when refunds will commence......even if small ones, to start. And stick to it!

SO TERRAHASH,,,, there is no way any of the parts and gear you have on hand can be adapted to the gen 2 chips that our good friend YIFU insist are forth coming in november? or whenever....... there is no chance of picking up any of the pieces to help cushion the blow to those that you owe money to?.... short of knowing your true financial situation?....other than building your own miners from them to make BTC for you own wallet.........which if you did, i would hope that that BTC would go back to those you owe BTC to in here.....Just felt it had to be ask,,,, its ashame as the klondikes design had so much potential,,,,,and yifu says they can be adapted, but,,,,who can trust yifu right??? and many that wanted to trust you have gone away,,,,unless you owe them still,,,,, Just wish you could come clean with all,,, make it right.

3280  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: September 30, 2013, 12:59:43 AM
As far as terrahsh,,a long time ago terrahash,,,I ask that all you have to do is to tell us the good the bad and the ugly,,,,even if it wasnt good news,,,and dont leave us all hanging in the dark,,but you didn't anyways,,time and time again,,that was your downfall...there were many who offered to help,even come to your office and lend time helping with support tickets etc etc,,,,,but we all heard nothing but silence week after week,,,,,and we waited and waited for some news on anything,,,,,, so you see, because of that, its really hard for us to be empathetic for you and your demise, we all know its really sucks,,,, goodluck...
