My first post , and first coin to mine on launch day , some advices ??
Hey welcome aboard lol In addition to what's been said, just hope the coin launches on time and doesn't fork at the 500 or so block like Zeitcoin .... beyond that, hope that the pool stays up and have fun and watch the rare time of mining with a low difficulty and hope all those coins your mining are worth something in 12-24 hours lol ") and make it to your wallet. |

Yah well that's Jenny for you!! If you are going to be sending coins to CryptoALTeX from a pool please set your threshold high enough so that it doesn't deposit more than once every couple hours and i would greatly appreciate it will do |

I think 10million is a very small amount of money. the shorts alone could pull that off.
point taken. we need new fiat to sustain a rally.
I have been following developments of bitcoin start ups. Europe has recently gained easy access to bitcoins, as well as Britain, from exchanges with reliable fire wire services for instant deposit/withdrawal. new exchanges are opening every week and they are getting better. this opens the doors to a lot of fiat, even more than china provided in the last bubble, because awareness is far greater now. Exchanges in America are coming soon. I have not heard this point discussed often, but it is HUGE.
infrastructure for retailers and customers is still growing at record pace. this is very attractive to large investors.
But the problem is china is genuine, as far as I can tell. bitcoins are leaving china. If we assume that china was the force behind the last great rally, then we must assume that new fiat is pouring in to hold the market up this high. the news has been very bad in the last week, but every legitimate story can manage to push down only $20-40 lower than the previous low. it is stubborn. Every night when the chinese go to sleep, the market rallies with unexplained force. it's the new money trickling in.
I tend to agree with all of that, especially the new fiat from the rapidly growing market. Well put. A very nice synopsis of how and where we are right now...  |

Hind sight is always 20/20 but, I wish now I had just took my first investment in GPU mining gear well over a year ago now, and purchased BTC when it was $30-$40.00 range and bought the same amount in bitcoin instead. Now even at todays prices I would be up almost $27,000 in pure profit even at todays price of 440.00 on that initial investment alone.  But like with everything else, we live and we learn... well most of the time. lol |

Amazing, all this speculation, graphs, charts, video's, news articles, various people trying to sound official like they know something special (fonzie), bears and bulls and alike,,, and still no one seems to have a clue if BTC is going up or down lol  this really is a great thread lol In the mean time I'll just hold tight and keep on mining whether its at 440 or 1,000 |

Nice one, thanks Out of interest, does Coinbase also require 2 forms of ID on registration (ID and utility bill)? I thought they just required that you have a US based bank account Coinbase, No, just a verified bank account for withdraw USD. Works great for me |

That's right and new markets will surely help whatever China does or doesn't do. I think there is to many other good things going on that will limit the impact. As far as mining goes in another post, I mine 24/7 and am holding on tight to any BTC I earn. I will not sell and I think that is true of other miners. |
