2022  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: TradeFortress is a scammer. on: November 11, 2013, 03:23:42 PM
I was one of the few people who got into that thread when there were still lesser then 5 views, you know what I did after reading till just before the picture? I closed my window of the thread thinking of the noobs who dont get hints

TF who publicly advertises Ripple is a scam opens a thread to give ripple btcs <<< what is the first thing that comes to your mind? If you are retarded enough not to get the hint that something is bound to happen and simply post your ripple address thinking of "FREEEEEEEE MONEYYYYYYYYYYY" and "FREEEEE MONEYYYY , ILL JUST REPORT OP AS A SCAMMER IF I DONT GET FREEEEE MONEEYYYYYYYY". Thats probably most of the people thoughts when they posted thier addressess. I would really like to help the guy who lost his real btc if he really lost it, I just cannot belief it and the evidence that is provided.

All this points to Ripple being a scam instead of TF, the developers of OpenCoin couldnt possibly never though of such an easy loophole when they designed the system. Knowing a potential loophole of your system but still advertising it and not fixing it but rather treating it as a plus for your system is essentially the same as a scam to me.

Alright, Im outta here before I get labelled as a scammer for nothing as well /sarcasm
SCAMMER
I couldn't agree more.
2023  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Inputs.io | Instant Payments, Offchain API, Secure Wallet, 235k+ BTC transferred on: November 07, 2013, 07:53:26 PM
The refund address must be same with email address input.io ? If I want use wallet that does not use email address how to refund it ?
If you have a significant amount that's worth the trouble of verifying identity, support@inputs.io

Exactly how are you determining what a significant amount is that's worth the trouble of verifying identity?

[edit: lol spelling]

Maybe he handed the task to randomcloud.
2024  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Inputs.io | Instant Payments, Offchain API, Secure Wallet, 235k+ BTC transferred on: November 07, 2013, 07:41:09 PM
Just got an e-mail back, quote :
"Because the hack occurred neraly 2 weeks ago and the public announcement was only made now?"

This makes no sense, why did TF let people use a COMPROMISED wallet for two more weeks?

Why its now public and not before 2 weeks?Huh  Angry

Since Boelens have decided to only selectively pick responses, after the 4K btc compromise I cloned the disk image as soon as I could (after disbelieving and in horrendous shock), investigated the scope of the breach, regenerated all credentials, and have been exploring any options that allows Inputs users to not lose any money.

You never told me this. All you said was that it was re secured and thus you announced it now.

Sorry to see TradeFortress trying to pass the blame to you Boelens. I always liked you during my brief time at coinchat. A pity you got mixed up with these types.

2029  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betcoindice.tm Untrustworthy: Fake volumes, makes house bets on blockchain. on: September 24, 2013, 10:51:59 PM
I've been quite puzzled from the fact that betcoindice.tm, a newly created and unknown dice/spin the wheel site, is getting so many transactions as observed on the homepage of Blockchain.info. Here's the results from blockchain digging.

Every single address I've checked that has received 0.03 BTC bets on Betdice and has around 1400-1500 transactions each as of writing. Pretty blatantly obvious.

Would you elaborate for guest and I exactly what your accusing BetcoinTM of doing? I think your jumping the gun honestly.
It is called "Projection".    Same scheme as coinchat.

2032  Economy / Scam Accusations / BestBitcoinWallet on: September 02, 2013, 08:29:03 PM
So this site: http://www.bestbitcoinwallet.info/  I have noticed around in my travels the last few days is offering 0.25 BTC to all new signups. The caveat is you need to make five (5) transactions before you are awarded said amount. After talking with a few friends it was discovered that all were assigned the identical address: 1CnL7FdNczBjTC2KmrHupJZahyZ5NFQqV5

I would have qualms about using this "service" Since I find online wallet services to be generally untrustworthy I hope this information will help save someone some hassle.

2035  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Coinchat is a dictatorship on: August 21, 2013, 12:15:45 AM
The general topic here has seemed to attract many people that were banned from coinchat for whatever reason. I was asked to post this: http://pastebin.com/ah3Bfdg9 for my friend Dog1, although the conversation contained within shows how the staff of coinchat reacts to rumors, etc. towards anyone they feel threatened by.  The amount of misinformation contained within is laughable, but instead of actually investigating the matter and talking to the people involved, it was decided that some "conspiracy" was going on to destroy coinchat or "infiltrate" them, if I remember the terminology correctly. I could produce many transcripts that mirror these, but they would honestly serve no purpose. All of us are a lot better off where we are now, and I wouldn't want to be remotely involved with coinchat or ANY of TradeFortress' ventures considering what will most likely happen in the coming months anyway.

Wasn't smart of them to get Dog1 on the trail.
2036  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Coinchat is a dictatorship on: August 20, 2013, 07:25:06 PM
PirateKitteh here ... the most ruthless and evil privateer from coinpr0n.

cashnews, I have very much enjoyed chatting with you on coinpr0n AND easybitco. I read your chatlog and am not surprised in the least. However, there are plenty of great sites in the bitcoin community besides coinchat as you already know. Don't let the frustrations of your experience there ruin your ideas of what community is REALLY about.

The forums here are full of plenty of examples/drama of what goes on anytime TradeFortress takes it upon himself to get involved. I personally am glad not to be a part of all of that nonsense any longer. It does make for good popcorn drama true, but spending my time actually helping new members grow in the world of bitcoin is much more important to me than playing the "sit up and beg" games coinchat plays to get a few mBTC. The monetary rewards are not what makes a great community.

Thanks for the informative post, and I would also like to thank you for your contributions to the German-language channel.  Grin

2038  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Earn Bitcoins for chatting. on: August 18, 2013, 08:28:43 PM
Hi, I must say your post title seems a bit misleading, since you never make another mention of getting BTCs for chatting or explain how it works or anything. You just go on and on about porn and children.. Kinda makes me think you're trying to peddle or solicit child porn  Angry

I think Wildchild was attempting to explain what coinpr0n is not. Anyone posting/soliciting illegal content will be banned, plain and simple. For more information on earning bitcoins for chatting, you are welcome to visit the site or learn more on reddit at r/coinpr0n.
2039  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Earn Bitcoins for chatting. on: August 18, 2013, 08:24:16 PM
Thank  you Wildchild for your wonderful assessment of the site.

I have always preferred to think of coinpr0n as a neighborhood bar, where good friends get together to discuss bitcoin and any other subject that happens to be floating around at the time. The owner and developers have really worked hard to ensure it is a feature-filled chat, one has the ability to share videos and images directly to other users and we also have some user bots that are very entertaining. I have been thrilled to see the user-base growing daily with many old faces from the community working to help bring this little project to fruition. The chat itself is IRC based, which may be difficult for some new users, but there will always be someone happy to help you get acquainted. As you mentioned, it is far from a "porn" site, as we also have popup charts and news feeds related to bitcoin for those who enjoy having the latest news and stats at their fingertips. There are some more games, etc. in development so I would like to extend a personal invitation to all to visit us, and feel free to make suggestions and comments!
2040  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is TradeFortress breaking the law? on: August 15, 2013, 05:26:47 PM
We will be launching a new website soon dedicated to open discussion about TradeFortress, his various websites and alleged scams he has done.

There will be lots of useful information on it along with hard evidence. Stay tuned guys!

As I have stated previously I am looking forward to the launch of this site and have plenty of people lined up willing to buy adspace or offer whatever support necessary.
