4441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The quality of the bounty has dropped very badly. on: September 06, 2018, 08:20:47 AM
It seems that ICO model has been difficult to finance enough money now, so these ICO-based bounty, the risk of not paying is also getting higher and higher.
It's hard to find a satisfying bounty /ico now,how long do you think the bounty can live?
Are you so particular about bounty or ICO ?
There would always be ICOs whether we like it or not as new projects will keep springing up every now and then.

Moreover, we have to understand that a team will need to do more than enough at this stage to be able to get smart investors to invest in their idea and product and it is normal in that vein to see an ICO not being successful as a result.

It is one of the things that affects bounties too which is what any hunter should understand before even deciding to take on bounty hunting, but to say because of that, bounties will end up long gone is absurd. Consider there are so many quality ICOs that have sprung up nonetheless.

4443  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think should invest in BITCOIN now? on: September 05, 2018, 06:35:34 AM
I think that I have already made my investments when the price was lower and I am pleased with this investment
That is usually the best way to go rather than wasting so much time thinking the market could still go lower than it is.

The fact remains that no one can really time the market or know how far a market would go, but what is important is that you should be pleased with whatever you are getting now and look forward to what the future of what you are holding is going to be which for bitcoin, we all know this is a great one already and there is going to be so much coming in the future that some of us who even think we are late now will be pleased we joined at the time we did.
4444  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many consumers own cryptocurrency? on: September 04, 2018, 07:21:12 PM
I think not even remotely close to what it can be, I believe bitcoin and crypto can be really getting at the hands of the people with some sort of more global and easy to use debit card and if you could use that debit card everywhere and if you could create it a lot cheaper than banks debit cards than you can make the consumers use bitcoin and crypto a lot easier however right now we are talking about how banks are greedy and they are making huge amounts of profits from their credit cards and all that however their debit cards are free yet bitcoin debit cards are incredibly expensive and they charge you insanely high amounts no matter where and how you spend it.
4445  Economy / Economics / Re: What don't you like about Banks and Banks controlling your money on: September 04, 2018, 05:12:15 PM
I hate banks, one of the main reasons why I am in bitcoin. When I get paid in bitcoin for my work I basically send it to the bank and cash it right away, not keeping any money on them.

The only reason for my hate for the banks is actually logical for them, I understand its their job and there are some computer algorithm involved as well and all that but back in the day my dad was a manager in a huuuge global firm and was making amazing money, so of course whenever we get a credit card and use it greatly he paid it easily, when we took out loan for new cars he paid it easily.

One day he was forced to retire because of the 2008 crisis, of course we had to find a way to pay the debts, with his retirement money and all that we paid as much as we can but one bank (HSBC) was unpaid, my dad just lost all of his income and all his savings because he was let go and yet HSBC kept calling us all the time, like call ALL THE TIME, 5 times a day or so, as a family we hate it to the bone.

Of course we finally paid it in the end, but HSBC can call me up and tell me they will give me 1 billion dollars for using them and honest to god I will say no.
4446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: your favorite Exchange (without KYC/Verification) on: September 02, 2018, 02:26:40 PM
HI did you try IDEX? it seems that this exchange is working good up to now, and there are thousands of users in this exchange market, usually ERC 20 based tokens are easily to be traded in this site., try to check them out, if you would be satisfied in their rules and terms. Also, as you can see, the volumes of transactions in this exchange is pretty, like the others, so i would suggest to check it.
Idex is actually a decentralized exchange, so KYC will not be required but you have to understand that sometimes liquidity for some tokens may be a problem since there may not be much activity on the exchange compared to centralized exchanges. However, for someone who simply is just after trading ERC20 tokens, I believe this should be good enough for them at least.

here is a lot of Exchange sites,
i want lists of exchanges - where i can trade and withdraw tokens without KYC.
Just very few exchanges can be one's favorite, but to be able to get the best from them without having any limitations when it comes to withdrawal, you will be better off with KYC. However, for now, my favorite ones are binance and Kucoin.

At least with these ones, you can still open an account and still have a minimum withdrawal of about 2 btc a day, which is good enough for anyone who is a small volume trader. I still do not know why people run away from KYC anyway like it is some big deal if they have nothing to hide.
4447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY WE BOUNTY HUNTERS HAVE SUCH A BAD REPUTATION on: September 02, 2018, 05:15:11 AM
I do not think locking up the tokens will make any difference as they will again be dumped as soon as unlocked, personally i never dump below ico price myself, i think more than bounty hunters it is the market condition which force even investors to sell and escape, you know panic selling, so we cannot blame bounty hunters only, we have seen prices going 10x-100x in bull season why dont they blame bounty hunters during bull season.
Well, it can make a little bit of difference in a way.

However, it is normal to see this kind of situations when most bounty hunters really care less about the project, does not even have any information about the project to know the price during ICO and they are just ready to dump what they are meant to hold anyway at even a bad price.

Locking up the tokens will at least have been able to get the market to an extent where the support is solid enough to withstand anything, but all the same, I still feel some big time investors who ended up having a lot of bonus at the start of the ICO usually dump their coins or tokens, just to remove the weak hands such as some bounty hunters from the market.

4449  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin after several years? on: September 01, 2018, 08:03:35 AM
what do you think will happen on bitcoin after several years?
i expect that bitcoin will a more bigger continuities and maybe that we can use bitcoin currency in public like buying in a supermarket cause we alk know that technology in our world was growing in every second that's only what I'm thinking
what about your thoughts?
What is the point assuming what the future holds for bitcoin rather than just waiting to see how things would pan out eventually and most especially in its usage as currency than just a speculative asset. Bitcoin has a lot of functions and values it would bring to the world at large, as well as blockchain technology which we know it is the future and also the foundation of decentralization which bitcoin and some other cryptocurrency is built.

As time goes on, I expect that when the real life usage start coming into play, we will start getting to see more merchants seeing it as a means for payment and the value even surging and in a way stabilizing to some extent as time goes on.
4450  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Big mistakes for a beginner in cryptocurrencies ✌ on: August 31, 2018, 04:00:02 PM
I don't know about the 5 big mistakes but I know one huge insanely big mistake that all beginners do. I have been in crypto for over 6 years now and I have seen all kinds of people do this mistake when they first get in. Join right at the top.

Now when bitcoin goes up like 100% and the bull run is here and everything is going up people who do not hold bitcoin joins in the market so they won't miss the ride however they join already after the big increase and they make a bit first and when it starts to drop they lose more money than they are comfortable with losing and they leave thinking bitcoin is a "scam" or something.

You do not get in to a financial instrument when its already at 100% increase, basic concept, common sense, yet everyone keeps doing it.
4451  Economy / Speculation / Re: Any reason for spikes in bitcoin price? on: August 31, 2018, 05:40:43 AM
Somebody over in the Wall Observer thread said CNBC ran a documentary on Bitcoin tonight about a half hour before the rise.

Nice move, hope it will bring us good tidings
There is very much positive news than this, which never brought good tidings. If anything is going to cause a huge growth in bitcoin, that would be some huge development in the protocol as well as some high demand based on real life need and usage.

News have never been the right way to judge the movement of this market as it moves the way it wants, let alone, considering a CNBC documentary to be the cause. Let's see how far the upward movement is going to go before we can even start considering anything at all.

This is not the first time bitcoin is going to have a little growth upward and I would not even call that a spike in any way. This to me is just more like a quick correction upward or the bulls really trying to hold on to the $6800 to $7k region, but that does not mean in a bear market, the bears can still not strike back at any time. The volume is not really that appealing to me anyway.
4452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My top alt coins that will see biggest gains by 2020 on: August 30, 2018, 10:35:46 AM
Among the 3 choices you made i am confident that NEO has the greatest potential of them all as it could rival the functionalities of ETHEREUM and it is also a government-backed crypto from China where a huge purchasing power is an advantage of that country.
I stand on this lane as well. Looking at so many factors that makes NEO tick as a smart contract platform and for the fact that it would be like an Ethereum in the Asian territory the most with some pretty good support, I believe this would be a very good and advantageous coin to hold for the long term.

I still have my reservations for EOS since after their main net was launched, but all the same I believe there should be some pretty good potential as well. MAN is quite a new project without much activity but looks quite promising as well, so they are some good catch all together.
4453  Economy / Economics / Re: New different cryptocurrency on: August 30, 2018, 07:08:16 AM
I understand that AGS is another token, which now has more than fifteen hundred. Not everywhere, bitcoins and other well-known coins are still accepted for payment. Why do you think that will be accepted, as a means of payment, some unknown token, which I have never even heard of? How is this token better than others? If it is ever used, as a means of payment for the purchase of clothes, it will take a very long time for it to become famous and popular. Now many coins and tokens are being used as a means of payment. Competition is growing, let the strongest win.
I kept wondering what would make the token so different in the first place when it just serves simply like any other form of payment in cryptocurrency that already exists. This is what I call unnecessary as far as I am concerned and not like trying to hate on the devs whatsoever, but they will have to come up with something very compelling and convincing to investors and not just some discounts on purchase or thereabout.

First and foremost, you opened an account to post this in the name of AgosAgsTocken and still telling us this is a coin you discover, like a normal investor? I am trying to wrap my head around how you have even started lying from the first instance.

It seems though that you are trying to attach it with ecommerce, or will I say sales of goods which sound not so bad with the whole discount thingy, but even after searching online, I could not get much information on the main product you are trying to peach out here.
4454  Economy / Economics / Re: Are fiat currencies necessary in the world? on: August 30, 2018, 05:20:49 AM
If crytpo is decentralized, and if all the governments use it, doesn't it mean, all economies are one?  Roll Eyes

Switching from fiat to crypto would fuck everything up, in a good and bad way. And a lot of things can go from bad to worse, I don't really see good things happening. People can do so much corruption and so many things, which blockchain will have the record of, but will not have the record of the person behind it. Honestly, fiat is better. Crypto as good as it maybe, its not good enough for the entire world. Think about it. Just don't arrive at immediate conclusions. There are millions of repercussions and one benefit.
Allowing blockchain technology and the government inculcating it into the system does not mean it would end up decentralized, and I do not see any reason why government will not want to be threading this path in the long run. The idea of giving up control as a result of decentralization is the main threat that is being posed to the government.

In a case where we get to use it an adopt it normally, and the government could find a way to regulate it without any serious challenge or threat posing situations, I guess we can see fiats not being necessary eventually. However, this is just one big assumption considering where the government of each country stands presently.
4455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why martingale is PURE SHIT. on: August 29, 2018, 04:12:55 PM
Its because people are still thinking that they can really take and win a lot of money through martingale. In the long run it won't work and the risk factor is multiplied. So I agree, I don't understand some people's infatuation about this system. I have used this strategy short term and change strategy based on what I think is good that time. No fixed set of strategies, just saying.
The kind of thinking that would get their pocket drained eventually.

Martingale sucks and there is no strategy that can ever work effectively for gambling without you exposing yourself to a huge risk eventually since the chances of losing more to gaining so little will always keep increasing.

This is one reason why I still find it amusing why some people think they could end up gambling for a huge profit in the long run as long as they are consistent with a strategy which is why I can see why some people will remain poor since they can never use their head.
4456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: August 28, 2018, 03:25:19 PM
It is sad to see Manu go but people are reacting like spurs are gone as a franchise and will never be like the good old days. First of all they had a 40 year Manu last year, even tho he played well and provided with some bench and veteran presence he wasn't the person who change the course of the team or something. Secondly they had Kawhi but he played like 9 games and was gone, he didn't play at all so when they traded Kawhi and got Derozan back, that is a HUGE improvement for them, not because Derozan is such a great player (he is tho) but because they basically got Derozan in exchange of nothing (maybe green). So basically this year they will have a all-defense point guard at Dejounte, a Rudy gay that is healthier, a Derozan, lma and Pau at big. This team is once again a 50+ win team and can even content if they can improve from last year (hardly enough to beat warriors but who knows what happens). So even tho Manu going is end of one era, it also creates a whole new era for spurs.
4457  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many consumers own cryptocurrency? on: August 28, 2018, 11:31:45 AM
The main problem with these is that, when you do a research on politics to get info on who will vote for who it makes a bit sense, you can ask 1000 random people on different places and see who will vote who, however if the questions is regarding something as specific as owning cryptocurrency, asking 1000 people in a country doesn't really reflect the end result as well.

You can ask 1000 people but there is like 80 million people living in turkey, hence its impossible to really even be close to it.
Also where have you asked, have you asked just modern cities or have you also asked people from more eastern middle east borderline cities where people are not even using internet that commonly ? I doubt so.

Basically this is all a wrong guess from the part of the people who made this and probably not even remotely close to the real results. Considering the lira dropped in august and this was done in June, OP is also quite wrong.
4458  Economy / Economics / Re: How much important bitcoin for entrepreneurs? on: August 28, 2018, 07:00:02 AM
Since bitcoin's purpose is for the betterment of payment system especially in online transaction, bitcoin will really give a better option for entrepreneurs to make their business more fast, convenient, secure and low transaction rates. That's also the reason why many companies nowadays are already engaged in blockchain.
Yes, fast transactions is one thing any entrepreneur will always be looking at and as long as it makes processes easy for them without having any form of barrier internationally when it comes to their business, then it is a space that would be a lot relevant and useful for them. When a business is looking for worry-free way of holding funds for future developments and to attract new community of customers for their business then bitcoin must be very good choice for them.

Asides that, I believe the usage of this space depending on the sector of the entrepreneur anyway can enable them get work done faster based on certain skills and have no problem paying whoever completes the task wherever they may be. One thing an entrepreneur wants is to be able to utilize time and funds effectively and this sure looks more like it.
4459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why I'm selling all my ETH (over 2000) and you should too on: August 28, 2018, 04:25:49 AM

yes im also selling all my etherium , not just etherium but also my bitcoin . i sold them all because i needed the cash for some important spendings and i didnt regret at all even though im aware that both coins can still recover and give me 2x profit than compared to the day that i sell them .

thats what did also happened to op . you know guys , there nothing really wrong to sell as long as you know whats really good for you and everyone of us has thier own seprerate decisions in life , so choose your path wisely  .
No one is really stopping anyone from selling as long as they have a concrete and reasonable reason for selling in the first place.

For yours, I can understand, but for the OPs', I cannot simply understand why having a small scaling problem could be an issue for investing and it is not like the whole scaling thing may not end up becoming a thing of the past.

Generally, scaling sure looks like a big issue in the crypto market once it hits the large scale, which is why it makes it easy for coins like this to keep growing since this is what the devs will be building on to bring about a better product in the long run.
4460  Economy / Economics / Outsourcing for printing currency notes will lead to adopt cryptos finally ? on: August 14, 2018, 01:01:57 PM
I just shocked on reading this article :
https://www.scmp.com/news/china/society/article/2158782/why-other-countries-are-giving-china-licence-print-money

“successfully won contracts for currency production projects in a number of countries including Thailand, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, India, Brazil and Poland,”

When a country is unable to facilitate the infrastructures to print money, I just wonder how effectively they could manage their economy ? Instead of struggling with this types of management I believe they may adopt bitcoin or may introduce their own cryptos just to focus on making their economy better.

If printing money alone is a big problem like taking measurements against counterfeiting then digital payment system must be the perfect solution to them.  Bitcoin and its descendants are having regulated money supply and big security against counterfeiting. But who will teach these governments about the prospectus of adopting cryptos ?
