4501  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we ever see BTC over $1,200 again? on: June 15, 2018, 06:02:23 PM
A whole lot of you who posted above me apparently did not check the date this question was asked. What I can see from this is that the future is going to be bright than the present. The OP asked if we could ever see the price over $1200 again around 2015, and here we are 3 years later complaining of a drop in price around $6k. I hope some newbies can use this to strengthen their hope in the long term value of bitcoin.
They obviously missed their road as usual and post like blind man. It is funny though that we are here now before 2020 that calme asked to even pull the thread back for a good laugh. That was 3 years ago just like you have said, and we have gotten way past $1200, with no dream of even thinking of going back way low to that value and then here we are having a good laugh even with the present value which some people considered as a dip.

It is really a way to believe in the future of bitcoin and not just in the price but even in its development. I am not finding any possibilities for bitcoin prices to test below $6000 levels. We are in rising trend in long term perspective hence if we test what was the peak of 2013 then it would be a result of some fundamental failure which is no way possible as per the bitcoin foundations.
4502  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - Breakthrough at the 2018 World Cup in Russia .Yes or no ? on: June 15, 2018, 05:30:04 PM
I do not see any connection between bitcoin and the 2018 world Cup in Russia. The price of bitcoin will not change. Popularity will not become more. Russia is not a country that welcomes the spread of bitcoin. In order for bitcoin to get a new impetus to popularity, it is necessary that large trading platforms begin to accept it for payment.
Nice one as that would really generate some media attention a lot and simply would create some huge awareness since this is a global thing. One way to go. It would have actually been swift if such a thing were to happen in Japan. If some bitcoin whales think about promoting bitcoins in such a world event then that would definitely help bitcoin to get promoted to many new people which may even end up bitcoin being adopted by them.

Still, I feel it is too early to start thinking how the betting/sport book thing will have an effect in Russia, but I do not think it would have that much huge effect either looking at the fact that Russia does not simply stand on any ground when it comes to cryptocurrency.

Japanese Ministry of Finance is going to prepare rules for cross-border transfers of digital money

The Ministry of Finance of Japan is going to prepare in the near future rules for the foreign transfer of digital money.

According to the report of the newspaper Nihon Keizai on April 5, the Ministry of Finance plans to introduce rules under which notice to the authorities should be strictly mandatory if the cost of transferring money for a foreign transfer is more than 30 million yen.

It is said that the decision of the Ministry of Finance will facilitate the consideration of the real situation with operations abroad and is designed to curb money laundering operations.
Source: Alpari
I think this is good news, with the increasingly stringent rules that will prevent abuse and illegal transactions which many harm many parties. and I think japan fully supports the development of cryptocurrency to grow and grow rapidly.
The bad news for sellers is the further fall in value these days while for buyers the good news is the low rate so that they get coins on low price in large quantity. Be optimistic in the market as we have seen recoveries in the past and in the previous year which hit the highest value of the Bitcoin so same in the upcoming days the Bitcoin can even go higher than the previous record.
Well, it can be good news for all. Sellers selling despite the low rate in value must obviously have a reason to be selling, otherwise holding and buying the dip as well to add up to what has been bought already at the top will be the best option which a lot of people usually do not understand.

One thing with good regulation is that it is going to help the space develop into a more matured space and still make the idea of decentralization existence fly at the same time, but if we expect that everyone will just keep doing whatever they want without some little bit of control and rules, then this space will not even last.
4504  Economy / Economics / Re: Which cryptocurrency should I invest in, in 2018? Why? on: June 15, 2018, 07:05:05 AM
I would suggest you to choose minimum 5 best coins. Split your investment into few parts. Choose 2 coins with high rates like Bitcoin and Etherium, then choose 2 coins with cheapest rates below $10. Then choose the best ICO tokens and invest as much as you can. This is the best move you can do as a trader. One or the other coin would bring huge profits for sure. You may be surprised to see the profits you gain from all above coins down the line.
I think it depends upon your investment cap. If you have small capital then you should buy some low price coins because you will hold good quantity and if the price grow a little bit you will make handsome money. On the other hand bitcoin is expensive and if you no idea of cryptocurrency then it is not good for you. Turn to small coins.
Yeah, it totally depends on each individual and asides the capital; everyone will definitely have different idea on how they want to invest. As for me, I am picking all the coins at the bottom with great potential for growth and active team as well. The thing about picking them at the bottom is because it is always easier to take note of the accumulation phase and when other coins are pretty much going down due to the response in the market, they are solidly rocking that bottom, and whales solidly rocking them as well. That is where I want to be picking from.

Basically 2018 must be a great year for new people who just heard about cryptos after bitcoin had tested $20k levels. Just imagine that people will buy bitcoin if it is currently prices $25k or even $21k ? When a new comer checks for prices and finding it less than half then definitely he may take some action for sure.
4505  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price "drop" on: June 15, 2018, 06:27:28 AM
That is true. Though im also one of those people who joined in not so long ago. What my beef is people who actually sell when the price is low. They contribute to the drop in prices more and more. What shoukd happen is to hold and buy more. This will help lessen the supply more and making it hard for the whales to control the price.
You cannot simply override that as it is a market and there would always be people who will sell either out of panic or because they really just need to sell and all those things make up for what moves the market. Drop will happen time to time, we never need to really bother that. All we must do is buying at dips.

It is always about trend, and one way or the other trends will always switch and the only time one will ever get to see a trend just going low and low until it becomes shitty is when it has turned totally to a shit market and that obviously is not the case with bitcoin since it has great value and only if people can understand those values, there would always be less panic during times like this.
4506  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best time to take profit in Trading on: June 15, 2018, 05:28:31 AM
... there is not a fixed time for that.
I just sell all my coins that i bought for trading as soon as it reached a good profit, otherwise, why would i keep them?
None at all. The best thing is to find a way or strategy to know when you are getting out of the market. For most people, they get out when a trend is changing with a stop loss above the previous resistance, while for some, it is simply just to take at any best position possible they feel the market is in an oversold stage even if it goes further since it would correct after that anyway. One way is to just know what works best for you and stick with it.

The current status of the market tells you and encourages you to buy more coins so that you get huge profit in a high market.
Buying more is the suggestion, we can find every part of this forum and I am not sure how many of us are following that. When we are into the practice of buying on dips, I guess bitcoin might have not come down from $19,800 to $6300 levels.
4507  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Help! Growing $200 to $5000 in 30 Days on: June 15, 2018, 04:58:11 AM
hold on to your $200 or put it in a bank account.
go to the person (or the bank) from whom you took the loan and see if you can get an extension on your payment. explain how things went wrong with that business.
see if you can find the money some other way like from your savings or selling some assets. for example if you have stocks, gold, bitcoin,... sell a little of it to cover the $5k
go to a family member or a friend and see if you can borrow money from them without needing to take another loan.

and finally stay away from investments that you can't understand such as trading in cryptocurrency market to fix another mistake that you made investing in another risky thing!
Best advise anyone can ever give. I am sure the Op must have made a terrible gambling in an investment he had no knowledge about like you said, and now that he is in soup, he is still trying to gamble the remaining left to see how he can recover the losses. Anything he is going to be doing now will just set in huge mistakes which would be made eventually out of panic in the long run.

Since he has made the mistake and he does not simply know where else to make payment, it is better for him to just sit back, think things through, allow his car go since he dropped it as collateral and plan what is left on a more solid term with better knowledge of handling it this time around.
4508  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I become a Crypto day trader? on: June 14, 2018, 07:49:10 PM
What tools are you using to manage your daily trading? Which strategies are working best?

Well, you asked one of the most complex questions in trading generally. There are a few decisions you should make before entering the market. It concerns the timeframe, expected daily and monthly percent and the strategy you will most likely "synchronize" yourself with. For being really successful (= consistent) in day trading you must think and live with your trading strategy - it is probably the only way to cope with fear and greed in trading.
Think and live with your trading strategy, I like that. It is necessary to know that this is a very volatile market and a little mistake can actually jeopardize one's fund is care is not taken, so it is always important to always keep that in mind, that no matter what, you are going to have a strategy which comes with learning a lot, then practice to build on that strategy and that is it as you wake up each day to make shit loads of money as much as you can from the market fluctuations.

Crypto trading itself a very risky one due to unpredictable nature of price movements. Day trading in cryptos will take those risks into extreme levels. I do see only very few people who are professionally qualified in trading making it possible with consistent profits. I have suggested most of the friends to do position trading when it comes for crypto trading.
4509  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHY THE SUDDEN FALL IN BITCOIN PRICE? on: June 14, 2018, 04:58:32 PM
Most likely, the rich whales decided to buy themselves bitcoins with a big discount and collapsed the price. We should wait.

Well the big whales has nothing to do about it this time as per review of the experts they say that everything is just a normal that only the holders make a normal selling but it create a panic among other holders causing domino epic to the Altcoins too and the second reason was Coinrail hack in South Korea in which it makes the Korean Bitcoin enthusiast to do a panic selling too. Here is the news link for your reference https://www.ccn.com/cryptocurrency-market-falls-25-billion-overnight-as-bitcoin-drops-6-factors-and-trends/.
Most of the time, we all know that anything that affects bitcoin simply affects the whole market but I would not pay attention to all that is in the news as they are just some ways of justifying the means and that does not change the fact that the market is highly manipulated.

This may have been a normal occurrence, but we really need to stop seeing fake breakouts in the market, but something that depicts real buy or sell based on real demand and supply. Understanding though that the market is decentralized, volatile and can be easily manipulated, but I believe it should be done with a lot of sense.
4510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt Investment for 1 year on: June 14, 2018, 03:44:01 PM
I refer NEO, it have potential to grow to very big cap
NEO definitely have a lot of room to grow this summer and I have been accumulating the dips gradually without wasting anytime doing so. Still, one year is a long period of time, and the best thing is to always monitor them to know when it is time to accumulate and buy in well and when it is time to be getting out of the market with the huge profit one could have been able to make from FOMO.

In a way, the whole market has its season and you really want to know how to be timing it well so as to get the best from it. This is the reason I always prefer sticking within most established coin. Also, my faith with most established coin has been paying me so far better than my expectation.
4511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How bounty helped your project? on: June 14, 2018, 03:13:47 PM
Hey

I was wondering, how bounty campaign can help your project to get bigger.

Do you have such experience?

For example, for the company I work in - a lot. It attracted more than 5000 to our telegram community. What about you?
Did it help to increase conversation from telegram member to investors? I don't sure. All bounty hunters are not interested in the project. That's why how many members in your group it means nothing for fund raise
Quite mean though but the truth, lol. These days, it is not about the number of members in the community but the level of real conversation between real investors and the devs which most of the time; it is not that huge for most community even with the huge members.

In a way, it actual still helps as to me is not the increase in number but the throwing out of the project to the world at larger, as that is what bounty is for while paying with your own token. I guess it saves the team a lot more that having to make use of fiat to pay for Google or Facebook ads and the likes or getting a paid review in some of the big media sites.
4512  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: factors that can make bitcoin stable on: June 13, 2018, 03:55:36 PM
Money, money, money. It all boils down to that. Funding of the cryptoverse. If you have a good news and other factors to get others invested, those are just precipitating. All we need is really the fund to get this going. Mass adoption yes that's one big leap. Hope will happen soon. We can only hope
Yeah, mainstream adoption for sure is the way and in that case, this can only be possible where bitcoin is being used widely as a currency and the market capitalization has grown hugely because of that. In cases like that, it would be hard to see market manipulations or whatsoever, but a more sane and matured market. However, this does not mean bitcoin will be stable, but at least it would not be as volatile as it is now, as there is no market that is simply stable.

Factors that affect volatility are demand and supply factors. If there is a balance between supply and demand on the market then bitcoin prices will tend to be stable.
You are right. But for another hundreds of years these two will not meet each other. Bitcoin is getting famous everyday which brings exponential demand whereas supply gets half every ~4 years. (All the bitcoins will be mined out only after ~100 years from now. FYI.)
4513  Economy / Speculation / Re: Need money... on: June 13, 2018, 02:43:56 PM
If you need money crypto is the last thing you want to invest your money into.
I feel a lot of people do not even understand this dude. This is not about him investing, this is about him withdrawing for an urgent need despite the state of the market, and as long as this is an emergency I do not see any reason why he should be asking us and not withdraw already. No one can give the state of the market at any time, as it could reduce more than this, there could be a recovery possibility, so the decision is left for him to make without looking back.

Everyone in this world need money. OP must understand that crypto trading nor any other trading will not give anyone the free/easy money. We must work hard similar to any other job in this world for trading too. Because trading is just a smart work platform that is the reason many people do fail at it unlike it seems in distant.
4514  Economy / Economics / Re: Making crypto succeed in the real world? on: June 13, 2018, 08:42:25 AM
The Usechain project is designed to work in the real world. About the project
Usechain is a blockchain platform that creates an application for identifying a person and binding it to specific services: crypto-currency wallets, service applications, for insurance or in lending, the banking sector, etc. In addition, the platform will allow for effective mining, realisation high-speed crypto-currency transactions.
Why are you spamming on the forum ? This is totally off topic and if you want to announce Usechain, you can just do that on Altcoin page, or the ANN thread of the project. However, with respect to the success of crypto world at large, based on what the OP was referring to, I believe there is just so much that would need to be put into consideration from the devs, to the community to the government and so on which all encompasses on how all these set of people that I have mentioned ends up participating in its real life usage of crypto as currency where products create demand for the token or coin in the end.
4515  Economy / Economics / Re: Us government has start probe in manipulation in value of cryptocurrency . on: June 13, 2018, 07:54:34 AM
Us government  has start probe in manipulation in value of cryptocurrency .will it effect the BTC
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-05-24/bitcoin-manipulation-is-said-to-be-focus-of-u-s-criminal-probe
While I do not remember reading any reports like that I always assumed governments will try to manipulate the price of bitcoin, the problem is that it is a lot harder than they think if they buy bitcoin to crash the price later they will be investing huge amounts of money only to lose them later and while they can afford that right now, as bitcoin becomes more valuable then that manipulation becomes more expensive.
Yeah, we cannot say exactly who manipulates at the moment, but best guess should be the whales somehow. The governments on the other hand are the ones probing the manipulation done in most of the exchanges right now as it is, and it is not like they are the ones doing the manipulation. This has been going on for a while and we know how in a market, some of the things mentioned in the article are kicked against.

Moreover, since all exchanges is not regulated by the U.S, which may be a challenge and we cannot expect any big impact due to these probe by US government. A decentralized system will evolve manipulation and trouble free only when it will being operated through a transparent system. Until we may need to bear the manipulations and other similar troubles.
4516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have learnt my lessons on: June 12, 2018, 07:28:48 PM
The problem with most of you is that you do not participate in a bounty because you believe in the future of the project and want to be a part of it without having to put in your funds, but in a way work for it; instead, a lot of you participate because you are looking for the quick short gains.

No one is stopping anyone from doing whatever they like, but thanks to you, because, people like you are the reasons why people like me have always ended up getting the projects we believe in their future, at a value lower than the ICO price (more like bonus period!). Simply put; another man's stupidity is another man's opportunity!

Good thing you have learned your lessons though! The idea is for you to see yourself as an investor, and apparently, no investor will be dumb enough to sell at loss, but would rather wait as long as they can until they get the best of their investment. I can even bet some bounty hunters do not even know the ICO price, let alone, the value they are letting the token or coin go.
In a way, I actually do not care if anyone is stupid enough to sell lower than ICO price, because that is usually my target most of the time. It was funny to me at first because it was more like someone just robbing himself knowingly or unknowingly.

Most times, if I miss a particular project that I know there is a huge potential for, I simply just monitor the price when it hits the exchange, and I wait for the dudes who are always happy selling at loss, since that is the way I see it, and I buy in for a sweet mouthwatering offer that the devs would not have imagined giving out. Good for anyone who falls into this category of OP and it sure serves them right.
4517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List Social Media Bounty No Need Report Daily or Weekly on: June 12, 2018, 03:13:32 PM
Helo bounty hunters let's join this thread to list bounty for social media that shouldn' report daily or weekly. It is disgusting to report link in bounty thread tweet : link
RT : link

it is too much time

please list bounty that not report here

If you are too hard to report your Retweet results, I think you'd better join a social media bounty that uses a portal. Social bounty whose rules report the results of our work is too difficult, but the results are more certain.
Yeah, as that is usually the easiest way to not have to report weekly as everything is automated with some rules applied as well anyway.

So far on that, the best platform I can point at that is doing that pretty well is bountyplatform.io and you even get to see the spreadsheet results daily. What I like them mostly for is the transparency that makes you rest assured you are in the right place. I just wish they could be getting more projects to do, but it seems they are pretty selective, which is not bad either.
4518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Being aware of SCAMS on: June 12, 2018, 01:15:27 PM
If there is a SCAM project, what contents do you expect from its social media accounts and bitcointalk thread?
If there is a scam project, i think it will be detected early because there are almost a million of us here that are observing new ICOs and besides there are also expert here in this forum that don't allow scam ICO to grow. As for myself, if i detect a possible scam then i would report this to the administrator of this forum.
Asides here, there are so many resources online that can easily help one to stay away and avoid certain ICOs. Only if investors can at least know what to do by themselves by checking out the team and product, then the number of scam ICOs would have reduced a long time ago.

Ask some team questions on their ANN thread as pathetic as what makes their product different from others and they will be busy blabbing rubbish. Is that a project anyone wants to invest in ? However, they know already that there are some gullible people who would just look at the surface and invest, but that is their choice.

The Japanese sometimes sell BTC Mondays causing 300 USD Bitcoin price drops!
Buying in now is a gamble!

yes buying now is a gamble,  so make sure to buy what amount you can afford to lose to prevent regrets. And always bear in mind to don't jump quick to any false news about the circumstances of the growth rate 'cause nowadays fuds always exist to intimidate. So you must make your own research before making decisions,  and always control your emotions to avoid panicking , or exit immediately if you gained enough profits to ensure your money and profits  is safe .
That should always be the case most times whenever you are investing in a market and you simply do not have much idea about trading. In that case, you are more like taking a bet. Any sane trader will obviously wait for a clear signal before buying in now and the signal presently is to sell and not to buy actually for those who can use the histogram MACD or RSI on the 4 hour chart. I am still hoping for a double bottom though, but nothing is certain yet.
