but I can make a fake receipt and all of it if I am a scammer, so whats the difference?
Any credability you think you had just went down the shitter lol. Even if you are truly an honest person, this quoted line just lost any hope you had.

honestly I dont care I never had any credibility from the start I posted here.  I was following this guys point that he made that I can take the toys back to the store.

So i dont want ur bitcoins anymore.  Clothes and toys are enough buy them yourselves or send me your used ones and thats that, dont give me lame excuses anymore that I am a scammer,
If you check every post I have made in this thread, I never once called you a scammer like some others have because I tend to keep an open mind. I just stated that it's easy to back out of something.

The scammer are those organizations that you donate to to make a profit.
So the salvation army & the marine core walmart drive to which I sometimes donate are scams ?

yes cause non profit orgs don't pay themselves, do your research.

I wanted to start one long ago but found out the nasty part of it.
Saying that the salvation army and marine corp are scam campaigns just literally screwed you from sunday to monday on any chances you ever had of getting the smallest BTC donation from anyone.

I myself am ex military (national guard) as I am quite sure are a good number of others here.

*** self removed ***

I fully misunderstood and forgot, that I was posting it on the internet. pun intended.

People here tend to think that everyone is out to steal from them,  you did the right thing they are nothing but trolls here who dont have a heart, just believe anyone asking for a penny are scam artist.
After everyone that has been burned, yes it is common place to think people will steal from them. It's most likely part of the reason I probably havent had my loan seriously taken yet. But for someone to come here nd kinda say dont bother if you dont have at least 500k to play with. Thats just someone with a bad batch of crack.

1806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When miht it be good to have gigbit internet for BTC ? on: December 08, 2013, 01:14:40 AM
So as of right now, at least, a regular non gigbit (10/100) connetion should be just fine ?

I didn't have any real concern behind the original question cause my operation right now is sort of laughable compared to a lot of others, I was just curious because the more hashing power you have the more data you have coming in and out. Hence the, at which point might a gigabit connection be reccomended.

Hey Doc, did you see my request about the stats page that was seonded and thirded ?

Yeah, sorry, I forgot to respond to that. It's a great idea. Not easily implemented the way stats are handled right now, but should be easy to do with the way I want to handle them in the future. So it won't be there tomorrow, but I definitely want to add that feature. Thanks for the idea. Smiley

Sweet !

Hey Doc,

Where can I find a explanation on worker settings. I just turned on the notification if one of my workers goes below a certain threshold but I see other settings in there and don't really understand them.

Thanks,
Bill

General advice, set your minimum difficulty to your hashrate in GH/s divided by 1.4. Some info on difficulty and work submits per minute:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=27062.msg3142713#msg3142713

Anything else?
So if my hashrate is 600Ghs, then I would want to seet my worker min diff to 429 if were rounding up to the next whole.
1809  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / When miht it be good to have gigbit internet for BTC ? on: December 07, 2013, 11:49:11 PM
Right now I have just regular DSL, but am ontemplating ADLS2+ / giigbit internet. I am curious though, when might a gigbit connection be good for BTC mining. Like if someone is just doing say 100Ghs or w/e, regular internet might be fine. But if say someones doing 600Ghs then gigabit might be sugested.

Hope I made sens, Ty.
1810  Other / Off-topic / Re: Donations for kids without homes or parents on: December 07, 2013, 11:46:12 PM
I will send you a donation, however only under the following circumstances:

1) I will first send the BTC to a trusted escrow.
2) You will then purchase the toys.
3) You will photograph the purchased toys and the recipient(s). The photo must have your forum username in it.
4) The donation will then be released from the escrow.

I am sure if you agreed to this method others would consider donating as well. As it stands it is far too easy for you to just take the BTC for yourself.
Even undeer these conditions, and I'm not sayin the OP is a scammer. But as I was sayin, even under these conditions. Once escrow is released, it's just as easy to go back to a store and make a return just as easy as it was to goto a store and make a purchase.
1811  Economy / Lending / Re: Seeking 0.09 btc loan for 1 week on: December 07, 2013, 10:53:14 PM
That doesn't really matter, does it?  I'll show you tradefortress's address, he has even more Tongue  Means nothing.
Also, nobody knows if you actually own that address.

Not unless he actually signs a message with the private key of that address (of course after he actually moves the BTC to another account). Otherwise, yeah one can simply post any old address without any proof that it is actually owned by them.
I don't mean to jack his because frankly it doesn't concern me, but I never did understand the whole signing thing. Hows that work exactly ?

Like, I use all my BTC address with blockchain.info's android app. So lets say I wanted to send someone 0.01 or w/e. How do I sign it and whats the purpose of signing ? I have heard signing addresses can prove you own it but I have to toss a flag on that one because if messages can be signed with provate keys, then all I need is anyones address with the private key and a 0.01 balance, sin a message and go o look, its my address.

Again, my apologies for jacking this thread.

Updated the original post disclosing full details of this request, if the new disclosure helps to show I'm not trying to hide anything then great, and as always, if not then at leat I tried.
1814  Economy / Lending / Re: Islamic Bank of Bitcoin - LOANS on: December 06, 2013, 09:04:04 PM
I got curious about the interest not wanted thing and found this to be an interesting read. There's many more articles on the subject, this is just the first I clicked.

1815  Economy / Lending / Re: Islamic Bank of Bitcoin - LOANS on: December 06, 2013, 07:44:45 PM
Sorry, we do not accept interest on loans.
Ok, so then the .5 would be a tip.

What collateral can you offer and how soon can you pay the 1.5 back?
hat's what I would like to discuss via PM, bu it would be paid back around April sometime.
1816  Economy / Lending / Re: Islamic Bank of Bitcoin - LOANS on: December 06, 2013, 07:21:04 PM
Could you PM me, I would like to discuss a 1.5 BTC loan paid back at 2.0, Ty.
1817  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for 1.5 BTC, will pay back 2 BTC... on: December 06, 2013, 04:59:59 PM
Now to just find a lender heh
1818  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for 1.5 BTC, will pay back 2 BTC... on: December 06, 2013, 04:22:17 PM
Wouldn't it be better if the deals were made publicly instead of within a PM?
Coin transactions etc can be made public fine but why I need the coin etc doesnt need to. Even though it's nothing bad or dirty, the whole world knowing why I am requesting wouldnt help my chances in getting the loan from any speific lender which gets full details via PM.
1819  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for 1.5 BTC, will pay back 2 BTC... on: December 06, 2013, 03:21:28 AM
didn't mean to make it sound like I said u were callin me a scammer so sorry.

No problem - I'm not offended.  I just see lots of interesting claims made on these loan threads, and since I happened to click on this one, I wanted to interject.  I probably shouldn't have.

But like I said, I never said I can prove repayment even though I would repay... what I have been saying is I can prove that its easily repaid which are two different things.

Okay, I think I understand now - proof of ability to repay.  From your initial wording, I got the wrong idea.
Exactly, as of right now, even without the loan to do what I want, I have the proof of ability to repay and what the loan would be used for would only sttrengthen such proof. If I could at least get your consideration, I'd show you my "proof" via PM and we can discuss options ;-)

In light of all the hassle of lawyer this, papers that, it wouldn't be worth it to give you a loan based on this. Your best bet is to seek a local bank loan or apply for one of those high interest credit cards. If you have a car, look for a title loan. Pawn all you can scrape up until you reach your goal. Good luck!
if I had other options id use emm, if I get a loan here then great and if I don't atleast I tried / am trying.
