is it possible to do manual cashouts at all?

Coming soon.

Manual cash out will allow smaller amounts to be cashed out, which a lot of users will be happy about. But be warned, cashing out tiny amounts is not recommended. You'll get a "wallet full of pennies" and be forced to pay (higher) fees to send coins.

You think those "get free bitcoins" sites are doing you a favor, until you try to send the coins and see the minimum fee required.

I'm not sure what the minimum should be for manual cash out. I don't really want to make it too easy for users to shoot themselves in the foot. I'm getting a lot of complaints from GPU miners wanting to cash out some bitdust though. It might be easier to just let them do it, instead of explaining over and over how much it will hurt. Tongue

As much as it does suck to wait, this is why I prefer the base payout on 0.01... wich I should be getting in a day or two when some more unconfirmed comes in !

Personally Doc, if you do implement a smaller payout scheme, I would make it a perk with a charge of say 0.1% with warning that if implemented "activted" you will end up knowing what it's like to be raped by the internet.

Lol, I just checked mt gox and its now at $606, $170 drop since I last checked.

Edit: Oook, back to $700 now LMFAO !!!
1863  Economy / Speculation / Re: WTF is wrong with people ! on: November 18, 2013, 11:43:43 PM
Honestly, if pricing continues the way it already has I would buy one, I just dont have the cash right now. Didnt even have it when they were $400. I just think its funny how much it's been jumping this month.
You can buy half of one.  Even a quarter.  You can also buy .245298562

The really cool thing is, if you buy only a fraction of one, your profits will be proportionally the same as everyone else!!! Today alone for example, you would have improved your wealth buy about 20%!!!  Now, is that crazy - or what?

If you want to invest you wait for the next crash. As we all know there is a regulation to happen after such a rise. Play on that if you wanna invest
Sound advice, crashes do happen and with the way BTC is going it will happen, just a matter of when. So ya, I'll buy the mining equipment as planned (20 port hub with 20 v4 ASIC for $350) and just mine and when a crash happens which it will, buy a BTC or two.
1864  Economy / Speculation / Re: WTF is wrong with people ! on: November 18, 2013, 11:40:29 PM
Either way it still coms down to be having the cash to even  buy a qtr of a BTC which I dont have. Assuming $800 I would need $200 for a quarter, which I tech do have but I'm trying to buy some more mining equipment right now that I have a good deal on that wont last if prices continue the way they are.

Just 12hrs ago a single BTC on MtGox was worth $630, right now it's up to $770. Good for people selling them but jacked up for people who want to buy like I did but hate that bank wire crap. Yes I know there's localbitcoin.com or w/e it is but still. I'm surprised this shits so high. I remember I think around the first of the month when they were like $350.

2) Hey Doc, why can't we seem to use workers in the client ? I tried MoreBloodWine_worker2 on my brothers computer but the work he does defaults to worker1 since it's the default worker.

You have to put the user name in the user name field and the worker name in the worker name field.

I'll have to o back and take another ganer but I could swear all I saw was name and password.

1871  Bitcoin / Mining / Raspberry Pi & many many USB asic's... on: November 18, 2013, 12:16:09 AM
Don't recall if I ever asked this here before but if I did then my apologies, anyway, I was wonderingg just how many usb asic miners a single Pi can handle. One persons blog I was reading said they bombed out over 22, then anoher person that hasn't updated in a long while said they were gonna try a 50 asic mining rig.

I was planning on 40 using two 20 port hubs which I don't think is to unreasonable but I am curious if I could push it to say 60 or even 80 which would be the max I'd ever wana try since everything does have it's tipping point where it starts to hurt.

1873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Namecoin paper wallets ? on: November 15, 2013, 11:19:53 PM
Ok, so I used that bitaddress.orgg site or w/e it is to print a paper wallet I control. Well, anybody got any ideas for one that works for namecoins ?

On that note, I was looking at something online the other day, about credit card sized plastic wallets for BTC. Anyone have any experience with those, I mean the PR keys are protected with this tamper proof foil but whos to say the makers of these didn't store PR keys somewhere to later be used by them at some point ? I guess tech the same cound be said the the bitaddres.org site since wallets are generated at theyre site.

Edit: I was even hinking of getting a trezor but their price models are bullshit, 1 BTC for rthe basic plasic case version. While normally that wouldn be a bad thin, the price of BTC flucuates like a bitch which means right now the trezor would be worth about $430 but tomorrow could be worth as little as $200.

I'd preorder if they had a solid cash price and not a BTC price that can rip a lot off people off.

What's this mean ?

Reward-Drop ETA: 2016-09-23 22:24:06 UTC (149 weeks, 1 day, 8 hours, 10 minutes)

That's the next reward halving. After that each block will have 12.5 new coins.

We still have a while to go though, it's not that long since the previous reward halving from 50 to 25 new coins per block.

Gotcha, thats gonna piss a lot of ppl of lol.

As for what I was talkin about earlier, and I didn't notice it on that clock. But whens the next increase in difficulty. Something I looked at a few days ao said somehing like 6 days and that I hink was 4 days ago.

Hey Doc, I don' remember if it was on your site or somewhere else but it was linked in this post once. Anyone got thaat link to the difficulty page that shows when the next increase is due ?

Speaking of which, just how accurae is it in relatio to the next beincrease ?

Ty.

That was this one http://bitcoinclock.com/

This one has the historical increases and charts as well. It is usually pretty close at estimating the next difficulty, just check back every few days to see if it has changed.

If I caan et hooked up with n old deal I was offered 2 days ago, I'll have a full set of 20 for the 20 port hub I got comin.

Still though, I think I'm doin ok for the 3 sticks runnin ight now.

I wanted to come back to bitminter. But after mining for 20~ hours with 200 GH/s I'm only seeing 0.05BTC. Was it just a bad few rounds? Even with bad rounds, I never had it this bad at slush.
I like how people like you think omg this sucks when your averaging what, $20 a day and people like me with small ops are doin what, $0.50 - $1 a day.

??
So I'm not supposed to wonder why I'm under performing just because of other people didn't put out for the hardware?

That doesn't make a lot of sense.

...

When I see people with KNC Jupiters who are having issues, I don't sit there and go "wow, why aren't you just happy with what you have?"

I didn't read him as saying that - just that he was marveling at the difference in scope.

"I like how people like you think..."
Read as a pretty negative connotation to me.
Besides, if you normally average $50-100 per day and suddenly you only averaged $20 without any explicable reason, wouldn't you question it too?
Keeping that in mind, yes I'd wonder but really, what can you or Doc really do about it ?

It'd be like me goin to the store wondering why milk all of a sudden if $0.50 more expensive, sure I'd be curious why it went up but at the same ime I'd just be like w/e and buy it because I need it knowing that there's nothing I can really do about it except o to a farm and milk a cow or free.

Edit: If anything, I wish I had $2,500 to go out and get 20 fury's right now to start hasing 45Gh/s
