1101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paycoin (XPY) is scam on: January 18, 2015, 03:21:23 PM
The problem of last night's crash.

People got paycoins, in massive amounts,  for as low as 2 cents of a dollar.  How massive?  Possibly up to 2,000 BTC worth of paycoin. Of course most of it was purchased at much higher prices.  But also most of it at prices less than 1/3 the current "rebounded" one. So a lot of people is sitting on massive profits on thousands of paycoins.

Interesting situation for many have already booked the profits but many remain more than willing to collect them in the near future thus creating a significant sell pressure.

And that IS a problem. ..holding the price down. What will be the reaction to Garza's Q&A session in Miami?  Answer in about 3 hours.
1102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCSY is a SCAM. Investors beware! on: January 18, 2015, 10:06:09 AM
Relaunch was created so Dev and miners (who mined old scsy) could dump it. Price went from 50 sat to 999 and then someone dumped 2.1 million coins and it's slowly declining as they dump further. It was at 19 sat before relaunch and dev allowed you to swap your old coins for new ones. Another pnd scheme.

BEWARE of this scam. Do not mine or invest on it. Old miners and devs hold 80% of SCSY and they would dump it on your head.

Think this: Anyone who bought 2 BTC worth when it was 19 sat is getting 20 BTC if they dump at 200 and nothing stops them. With ICO in decline this is a new trend to scam people. Relaunch-Pump-Dump-Profit

Not new at all. Many examples. PINK, for instance.
1103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paycoin (XPY) is scam on: January 18, 2015, 10:01:43 AM
And then there is the BTC variable: it could rebound significantly between now and pay time.  It should as a matter of fact. Getting to a valuation of $20 could potentially not be a very difficult thing.

It's going to be interesting that's for sure.
1104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paycoin (XPY) is scam on: January 18, 2015, 09:17:08 AM
First, price should go gradually and substantially up as we approach Feb 1st.

Second, I don't believe Garza would risk everything and long time jail scamming people with paycoin. It simply doesn't add up to me...

Of course I've been wrong before...

https://twitter.com/vinnylingham/status/556682631941615616

Gyft calls Paybase/Paycoin "rubbish" and is only using BTC!

So how does Payflash work ?

paybase/paycoin/gaw is 100% scam in every way
it's a matter of when the court date is announced for josh/xpy subpoena
it's just too many illegal activities practiced/practicing going on with gaw/paycoin/paybase
he's also using walmart/amazon/target logos illegally

That's simply not true, legally wise. I don't understand this pretense that gaw has done anything illegal (regarding paycoin/paybase). Truth is that SO FAR they haven't.  Period. Now, if coming end of February or whatever deadline they set, they haven't returned $20 per paycoin up to $100,000 AND continue doing so until no paycoin holder is claiming such exchange,  they are totally in the clear.  Legally. That's the long and the short of it. The rest are personal vendettas and other forms of hatred not sustainable with the US law as a support.

Going to take a while to go back up over 0.02. Too many people is cashing in on the gift trades of earlier.

But I believe it will go back up there and beyond eventually.

It's going to be quite a show, no doubt.

1107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE BYTECENT DISASTER on: January 16, 2015, 04:28:07 AM
No amount of pathetic insults or other attempt at snake oil selling will hide the facts IE:

--Even through today, more than 2 months after launch,  a full 1/3 of the total coins out was mined illegitimately. Who has them? You? Your half a dozen followers?

--1440 was promised as a MAXIMUM.  Per day. Not average. No bullshit. A MAXIMUM. from day one. You LIED.

Now keep trying to sell your snake oil to those willing. Bang out job. You are taking the world of crypto by storm... amazing.

Sprout: that's the nature of the average investor in crypto. And the reason they are usually separated from their money. You want to "give it time"? Great. Its your money... soon to be no more.
1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE BYTECENT DISASTER on: January 15, 2015, 03:21:16 PM
So IE has come up with this great idea of setting a swimsuit shop in the Artic... that's how effective the gift card gimmick is going to be.

The problem with IE is that he is capable of some good ideas, usually one in 100 with other 99 running from unfortunate to dreadful. This gift card one being squarely the later.

Because while theoretically simplifying the process of purchasing a coin is desirable, it would have no effect whatsoever since no one actually wants to purchase it, the process being simple or not. Like making easy to purchase condoms... for flies.

The main mess of BYC  is of course created by the shortcomings of IE... which not only allows for pretending that having 100,000 coins (1/3 of the current float) more mined that he promised there would be by now -who has mined them?-, is "normal", just "how crypto works", but that running toward your own field is actually advancing. Crypto doesn't have any problem with people wanting being able to purchase bitcoins -they can getvthem from ATMs at the mall-; it has a seemingly insurmountable problem with getting to use them to purchase anything.  The other way around,  get it?

No one wants BYC for those and many other reasons... not the least of which being that IE has painted himself for the most part as one of the most hated individuals in crypto... along with one with the most impractical and absurd ideas imaginable.

But, like  I stated above, one of every 100 on average is ok to good. Some people -half a dozen or so at last count- seem to be willing to wait for it. The rest, even the haters and the racist, have long forgotten it.

You really do not know what the fuck you are talking about. How many times can one person be so wrong? You said when he offered the refund no one would buy the coins being refunded. WRONG! People did buy many of the coins being refunded. You also said when the coin started trading it would quickly collapse. WRONG! Bytecent went to 170k+ sat and traded for weeks above the ICO price. Then you recently said the coin is dead and no one is interested. WRONG! The trading activity and volume is decent. You also made up shit up about mining. 150,000 coins were sold during the ICO and 175,000 coins were mined in over 2 months. 325,000+ coins in circulation with a coin supply of 33 million coins. THAT IS LESS THAN 1% OF THE TOTAL COIN SUPPLY. It will take decades to mine the coins at this rate. You are just bitter you were one of the morons that took the refund during the ICO and missed the initial pump. Then like the dumb ass you are, you bought in again during the pump, held too long, and then sold at a loss when the market corrected itself.  Just shut the fuck, you are done here like your career.

Let me correct your numbers IE since, like everything you post, are far from the FACTS.  You sold 150,000 byc but had to return the cost of more than 30,000 of those to the people that wanted out once they saw ghe "mining mess" you had gotten themselves into. So total is actually shy of 120,000. Now 60 days @ the promised and never met MAX of 1,440 coins per day mined will give you roughly another 85,000 coins for a total of just over 200,000 coins. Where did the other 120,000 go IE?
THAT'S the mess of BYC. The main one. The others, worse yet, are... well you and that peculiar trait consisting in both trying pathetically to paint failure as success while somehow manage to run, always, on the opposite direction of success. Like that gift card initiative.  Instead of pushing for merchant adoption you push for easy ways for people to buy a coin they dont want to get to btc that they can get at the atm, charging them with two unnecessary intermediaries.  Plas, plas, fucking plas. Like i said,  the exact opposite direction.

But keep on deluding yourself,  you are preaching to the same half a dozen choir who will be more and more embarrassed by seeing you posting here under yet another puppet the eternal, pathetic nonsense... while the project inevitably unravels.

Now that is ridiculous.  Brian Kelly hasnt scammed anyone. He just doesn't know what else to do NOR he knows how to get competent people to help him. Which has nothing to do with scams.

Now, with or without BK, no one gives a shit anymore for this project so what would be the point in continuing it? With bk it has some (minimal) value,  without him, none at all.

I do trade it, albeit very little because of the lack of volume, and I had manage a few profitable trades on the loser.

But, basically one comes here to talk, FREELY, about this project because it could have been something really good instead of the loser it's become.

Some people appreciate freedom, you see...

So you like to spend your time talking about what could have happened. Free world do it if you like.

We talk of all kinds of things and not too much about Vericoin since that is a lost cause and therefore not worth mentioning generally.

But, clearly, you would not enjoy our exchanges. And I deplore that.

Hey everybody,

We've just published a new version (v0.5.0a) of MangoCoinz on Google Play.
You will be able to update the app in a few hours (Google needs to update their listing).

As requested by the community we have slightly lowered the mining difficulty to 3 times the first difficulty.

Best regards, Srele from MangoCoinz.

Thanks!

It's quicker now.

I also installed it on bunch of my friends phone.

Good. Now surprise us with a great logo design. Choose any name on it of the ones suggested in the previous pages, that would be your vote. WE SHOULD BE VOTING ALREADY.

Pne again some of my candidates:

Fitnesscoin
FitBits
Shapecoin

Why is the logo urgent?

Here's why: I intend to do some heavy promotion in the following worldwide events: The Oscars. And the Los Angeles Marathon.
I intend to have some runners wear stickers or just phones with the application. Have a big card with the name and logo around the outside of the Oscars. Creating awareness. I expect contributions from other community members in similar events the world over, like the New York and Boston Marathons, coming up after Los Angeles. I need T-shirts and stickers and the card and cannot get them made without the new logo. That's why it is urgent.

Now, for this promotional events, we also NEED to have the application available for the iPhone, obviously. That's why everyone needs to donate BTC now that they are cheaper than they have been in years. And I and others will need donations so we can put some coins in the wallets of the runners. It will be VERY major but the effort of the community is needed. Please give.

Cool. I'm not good at creating logos but here are two. I kept them yellow and black because it's the color of "Gold's Gym" and people associate those colors with fitness.

I like them a lot. Couple suggestions to make them "better" (IMO): Include a girl along with the guy. Make the borders more coinish (3D. Perhaps the name also in 3D).

I love it!

I would appreciate my name not being dropped - I am trying to move the swift brand and its "swiftyness" away from this type of stuff.

BitStake may or may not be a scam... no reason to bring bitswift and its developers into this though.

Thank you for understanding.

Ohh yes.. Paul the savior comes by to let people know how righteous he is. How convenient..

Just so you guys know.. The coins is not my baby.. I do however think its a coin brought to market by Paul, 50% of the old members of my group and the one and only.. David "kid" Zimbeck.

Dont you guys see.. this coin is all them!

Dont be fooled!

What a team!

Paul gets a (very temporary) pass because he fell in love with the tech and that has a small redeeming quality. But no people with common sense would come even remotely close to anyone that has been part of that particular team.

Now "the kid"... he is something else altogether. Not necessarily as corrupt but potentially, in reality, much, much more destructive.

Mangocoinz mining shortcuts, using 4 android smartphones

Set phone accelerometer sensitivity to high
Set timeout screen lock to max 30mins
Put screen brightness to full
Open the app screen
Go into a big dark room
Spin them around in a sock for 15mins

I know this works bcos I have 5k+ mcz.

That is so wrong. And it doesn't work (I just tested it. Not even close. You get 2 coins max in 15 minutes and you can easily break your phone hitting a wall, furniture or something).

What is the problem with reducing the difficulty so everyone can EASILY mine the max? There's none. Makes sense. Shows everyone in a few seconds how easy it is. The coins get distributed and there it is a real market for it.

Devs, you should have done this already, it's just one entry in the code. Why not?
