There's no FUD. There has never been any. Just the facts. Calling out an irresponsible cheerleader acting as an official of the project AND calling out BK for the immense amount of bullshit he has propagated, while being unable to accomplish even the most basic things ANY other alt coin has since inception.
1302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BitBay |Decentralized Marketplace|Smart Contracts|IoT Tech|Markets Open on: December 12, 2014, 10:24:54 PM
all those features are available right now in CounterParty

They're not really.

I never invested in XCP because I see it as a third party brokering service. For example XCP got a rise last month because it brought Etherium together with Bitcoin which on the face of it seems like a match made in heaven - the biggest technology of the future wedded to the biggest technology of the past.

But think about it. By investing in Counterparty, you're not gaining any stakeholding in either of the two original technologies - just the broker. So I left it alone because we have limited funds for hedging.

On the other hand Bitbay / Backcoin / Halo etc are original technologies and involve the original developer of those technologies. You DO get a stakeholding in them plus if you're technical like me, it can be quite interesting following the whole project development and trying new stuff out regardless of its valuation.

Bitbay also has a potentially killer market by directly targeting a specific sector the way it does. That's always a very powerful lever in software development because you don't have to generalise all the solutions to solve every possible problem - the business logic that has to be supported is always well defined. This makes for rapid progress towards both project and marketing milestones and should not be tossed away lightly.

That's why I'd like this work to continue because it does have some authentic aspects to it who's merits potentially far outweigh the nonsense politics of the IPO.

There you go, that's the spirit.... Wow!
1303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BitBay |Decentralized Marketplace|Smart Contracts|IoT Tech|Markets Open on: December 12, 2014, 10:21:56 PM

Coin is gut shot. Will never recover. Wasn't just bob that did the damage, they are all thieves. Naivite is the ethereum of this coin.

I don't care.

It's early enough in its lifetime for it to recover.

All of this sh*t was about the IPO and its wake. If it had happened 6 months in then - yes, it would be "shot". But it's recoverable if there's a technical momentum from here. If that happens the rest will come because it's moving off such a rockbottom base.

the scammer teams split up, so for you it is ok to continue with the scammer who stay in the coin  Shocked
(I can't believe what I read  Grin)

Oh you probably will have to read things much more incredible than that -although it is quite a task to even imagining them, admittedly-. And not only from the obvious individuals involved in the scam (have you heard that in prison no one is guilty, absolutely no one... all of them are locked up by mistake), corroborating evidence and full admissions included, no. What is even more amazing is what you will read from the likes of powersoup, digicitrical adn qwxsrz or whatever. Or even the guy with the big business and big pockets that is interested in reviving the project no matter what even buying all the coins available (although at least that one is not just your usual smuck and he REALLY wants this as a tool for his business... he doesn't know just how wrong he is about it being that).

It's the nature of crypto and why it will never go anywhere. poor as shit pot smoking 30-plus years old jerkoffs that never worked a day in their lives and live in the garage of their parents. That's the bulk of the demographics. And yes, they will post things like the ones you incredulously read here.

And that's not counting the ones who ask if this is a scam or if BTER is legit... or the ones who admit that "as long as David is in the project, they will follow him anywhere"... Amazing, isn't it.

Because Bobsurplus, as you already know very well, is an innocent contractor that found out too late that he had been contracted by a bunch of scammers, you know. Him and his right hand mand, Gekko, being the only innocent parties in this.

Surreal.
1304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [BYC] Bytecent - new rules introduced to cryptocoin world on: December 12, 2014, 06:34:46 PM
I have been following bytecent for some time and have had mixed feelings about the whole thing, basically because of IE's past and the idea that its a closed source system. But, I have noticed that when somebody finds definitive proof of somebody gaming the system, aka "super miner", and they post it to the forum, they get attacked as being a Fudder and largely ignored by IE, with some people being banned while trying to inform people of whats happening on the network.

IE has claimed that he has put a primes-per-second limiter in the miner, but if you watch the blockchain you can see that somebody is still mining tons of the coins, which shouldn't be possible. With some addresses getting blocks every hour(and yes all mined as shown by the block explorer). I have seen posts by people that have found this factual data by digging around in the blockchain and I have reviewed this data and would have to agree with them. The Blockchain doesn't lie.

We have also seen blocks being accepted by the network that are over 30 minutes old and can be viewed in the debug console and the block explorer. There will be a block every minute or so and then you see one come in that is 46 minutes old, how can that be?

Plus, the idea that a developer has the ability to ban certain IP's from mining/connecting to the network, I find very disturbing. What happens if these tools IE has get stolen or hacked? What happens if he is having a bad day and decides to ban somebody that has reported a problem that affects the price? Can he stop somebody from sending their coins to the exchange?

The point is, cryptocurrencies are free and open to use by anyone, that is the basic idea for their creation. Anyone on the planet can use them. But, IE has cut some people off, possibly unjustly, and still hasn't fixed the problem of the "super miner."

While I LOVE the idea of no-pool mining and POM and HOPE and WISH this coin can get passed these early growing pains. I am afraid for it because of IE and the way he deals with people. How can a cryptocurrency gain a user base if those people are afraid they won't be able to use their coins if they speak out about a problem they find? And I worry about these coins the "super miner" has mined over the past weeks, they are obviously throwing a lot of computing power at the network and someday they may need to pay the electric bill. Could the market withstand a 10k sell off? Only time will tell.

EDIT: One other thing that has bothered me is that we have been told over and over again that the Linux and Mac wallets are going to be released "tomorrow." I have seen IE say that multiple times and yet we still don't have them. Why promise something so many times and not deliver it? It has been weeks since he said he was going to release them and still nothing, except more promises of "tomorrow"

You raise a bunch of excellent questions that, unfortunately, I have no answers for because I just don't follow this closely since I don't visit CoinBlab.

I have received numerous complaints regarding PoM in recent days (since I opened this thread). Apparently, for many, it is simply not working. They cannot get any coins even when they are mining for 48 hours practically straight, which seems fishy at best and a clear indication the mining issue is far from solved.

You also seem to imply that the "super miner" could be, in fact, IE or one close associate, which is also quite possible, to be frank.

Let me make one thing very clear so there's no room for doubts: Investing in BYC means absolute faith in IE and that he will decide not to be greedy. AT HIS OWN WILL, no strings attached. He doesn't have a reputation to protect, true, but also if he were to scam people with BYC, he would be done in crypto for good, so he has a lot to lose if he doesn't play it straight. That, by no means implies that he will play it straight. As a matter of fact, as I have pointed out repeatedly, there are reiterated and irrefutable traces of very dangerous behavior, so be advised and act accordingly.

The ONLY two reasons why I am back invested in BYC and supporting it are a) the price behavior IN SPITE of the obvious flaws and after a hugely messy launch. As stated above, some of those worrysome flaws, remain far from solved. Ans b) I do believe IE has the business wherewithal to make money with this coin. He is not some smuck, jerkoff geek who launches a coin and suddenly finds himself with access to more money than he ever dreamed of. He also knows how to promote and how to monetize software. I know better than most his personal flaws that have prevented him from any success in crypto so far, but I want to believe that this time he will not be tested beyond what he has been already... If he were, the results, I have no doubt, would be equally disastrous, so I am counting on some smooth sailing in the near future. That said, as everyone knows, I am a trader, not an investor in crypto and I will try to exit BYC for a substantial profit as often as I can since, even with the behavior of the coin's price so far and the dedication and apparent interest of IE in solving the issues, I still find trusting IE's personality on the long term is as safe as sitting on a barrel of gunpowder.

With archers throwing lighted arrows at it...

shouldn't that be 'Brown Halo' ?

It sure looks brown, doesn't it?
1306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BitBay |Decentralized Marketplace|Smart Contracts|IoT Tech|Markets Open on: December 12, 2014, 07:43:34 AM
mods cant be here 24/7.

ok look at the evidence.

coin is dumped down to below 80 sat and all of a sudden a lot of fud posts from new accounts follow.

Wake up, the P&D group is trying to drive holder sentiment down to get cheaper coins, all ready for a nice pump come the weekend.

Normally I would just sit back and watch this unfold and accumulate myself.  But this is gotten beyond the joke and is getting progressively worse with each coin that comes along.

to the P&D group - take it easy, your actions are destroying the crypto community and could ultimately halt innovation in this area as new developers are too scared to release new and interesting products due to the FUD and trolling they will cop from individuals just trying to make a quick dollar.  Your actions leave a trail of destruction once you have finished and believe it or not, your actually hurting yourself in the end.

to the current holders - look at the evidence.  bay has progressively down trended, meaning no one will make money from it unless there is a spike upwards at some point.  no doubt individuals with a lot of BTC behind them are involved in this just by looking at the volumes.  Clearly they are clever and out to increase their BTC holdings.  Do you think they would waste their time here if they were not going to make more BTC?

I have to agree. They've figured out the time when Mod goes to sleep and they use it as their advantage. They never post during the time when Mod is online because they know their posts will get deleted. Bunch of pathetic losers  Grin

Nah, this is all orchestrated. Mods and everyone. I'm sure bob and david are probably still working together. They just bought a bunch more bay cheap and they are now going to try to pump it up. Suddenly everything will look rosy for a while. But it won't work this time.

That doesn't make any sense.

David called out Bob about his BS

Bob got pissed and sent his troll army to Fud this thread. That's the only way I can wrap my head around it. If number of Fudders turned from 5 to 100 after David called out Bob. It's because Bob sent these fcks to fud this thread with their nonsense.

I've around 3500 BTC and I can pump this coin if I want to but that's not in my interest. I'm looking forward to decentrilized marketplace and I'm a businessman myself who is looking forward to sell stuff without "middleman".

Zimbeck the Turd is your man. Success if almost guaranteed...
1307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitBay | Decentralized Marketplace | Unmoderated Thread on: December 12, 2014, 07:33:44 AM
Wonder no more Turd: I have spoken of Bob way more already that such a scumbag deserves. That said, he and his deeds are well known across Crypto, have been for a long time. His, Gekko's and his minions'.

Yours, on the other hand, were denied until denial is impossible in view of the evidence. Although arguably Bob and his merry (and some of them now sorry) wild crooks are way more dangerous and destructive to crypto that you will ever be, fact is that in this particular case you were the full responsible party in some blind people losing their money. You, not Bob. You made it possible, not Bob. You still want to continue scamming people with your 100 million coins and the Chinese and the BTER guy's 300 million plus. So while Bob fully deserves what's coming to him -and I keep envisioning him waking up one morning hanging by his balls-, and then some, you are a much more scurrilous, perverted, scammy piece of shit. That's why it is imperative for crypto's survival, that you get out of Dodge immediately, before you can do more harm while protesting that you just want to "protect your investors".

As for your creation, perhaps you should consider a new logo, more in tune with your new nome de guerre:

bob, how do you feel about what you did your group? Also, anybody in the group care to share how they feel about what bob did? I think it would be good to hear from some of the victims in this.

So if he wouldn't have fucked you, everything would have been ok? Victims? Really? Wow!

No, I made quite a bit of btc in bob's group. I decided not to buy in to the BAY ICO, I make that clear in my post history. I am just curious about those whom did. I know that there were some individuals that put very large amounts of BTC in to the ICO and they lost quite a bit. I would like to hear from them, as well as hear from bob himself about how he feels about what he did to those individuals. His group members are the biggest victims of the scam.

Not by the longest shot. Nor victims at all. Leeches, vampires all. The ones that jumped ship -and lost- and the ones that remained in. Sorry pal, you have it all wrong. Zimbeck the Turd, Lin the meleficent and Steve "The Chinese" ALL are crooks, no question about it. But Bob and his team, they are not just crooks, they are something else ALSO. The fact that their motives and operations are mostly known by the crypto community doesn't make them any less despicable.

Lets make this perfectly clear alright? You mess with bull, you'll get the horns.
1312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BitBay |Decentralized Marketplace|Smart Contracts|IoT Tech|Markets Open on: December 12, 2014, 05:54:49 AM
At this point it really doesn't matter who is "right" or "wrong" this whole project is headed straight to the shit tank. I'm really sorry that I invested in the ICO. But you live and learn. David and Bob are equally responsible for this and I can't stand hearing any more of this high school "he said" "she said" bullshit. Quit fucking ruining crypto for everyone.

I didnt do anything. I accepted a 100 BTC offer from Steven Dai and later they said they would put 91 more and they would all agree to put in for developement. Steven and Lin were fine. Gekko and Bob wanted out the second they got in.

But they wanted out for some BTC. Bleeding the project and then threatening it and then starting fud with paid accounts coming from his own group.

I really wish you would own up to your role in this project and apologize to people like me who believed in you and ended up losing 75% of my original investment. You have been defending youself this whole thread and never once have you addressed the small guys like me who believed in you. You still got paid didn't you?? I'm glad you are enjoying my BTC that I invested.

Didn't you hear it? He was PROTECTING YOU all this time... He still is... if you catch the drift...

total control of the code???

i will tell u who has total control of the code. go to the irc "chat" screen of that shiny new wallet and mouse over the links at the bottom. that wallet is hardwired into hidden online servers serving up shady links, trolling for noob clicks.  all 100% live, from the net, in what looks to be some kind of hijacked iframe window.

soon as i saw that shit i uninstalled that wallet and ran a complete scan of my whole system. i had it sandboxed but i feel sorry for u guys who have dat files on your machine and think that wallet is safe.

Yeah my site was hacked through wordpress. Talk to Alec Hahn. Nice try.

lol your site was hacked though wordpress? Huh   and that's why the wallet is backdoored?

that sounds like a 9th grader explaining the internet to a 4th grader.

What else did yopu expect. In that, just because there was no need for it, Zimbeck the Turd never lied: He had no idea about programming or coding. He can only code y Python. No C, no C++. And the Python he knows? very, very pedestrian... But that another hill of beans altogether... irrelevant, really.

And Bobby, Robert, Bob, I'm going to give you a taste of the pay-per-view for free, just a taste, so you will know it is really a good value for the money: I know your faith in Gekko is unshakable, strong bond, like Batman and Al Rhaoul... oh wait, never mind... lets leave it at that. And I know Gekkos dick is of monstruous proportions and all but imagine, just imagine for a split second, that the girl grows a couple of ideas of her own...

I told you it was just a taste. Further content for subscription only.

All I have to say is if both of you are staring at each other across your battleship-esque laptops trying to destroy this coin...you have failed.  Neither of you have produced a shred of credible evidence to help your side of the argument...you both continue to claim to have "logs" and "screen shots" damning the other...yet no solid media has been produced...so we are left to accept you are either the same person, or a collaboration against the inventors trying to squeeze as much as you can from us...

or you can prove me and many others wring,,,

lmao.. you cant read can you... if you wanna invest in a coin where three people hold half the coins and got in for FREE then be my guest.. i for one am out!

lol, yeah you made 500BTC off of this.  I know, if your truly out then why not buy back 500BTC worth of coins and burn them  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

He made more than that. He made 691 BTC since he pocketed it. And his friend made 191 BTC.

The only ones willing to pay were me Steven and Lin. (this doesnt include Gekkos fake bill)

Plus many more in BAYs that they sold, many, many, many more, lets keep the record straight. And they will keep on selling quite a few millions more, don't forget Turd. Them and YOU!

LOL, i like you... cant we be friends??

Friends really friends, sorry but I am a bit picky. I can be bought though...

Plus any relationship with you has to be in cash upfront basis, because your days before you are hung by the balls are counted, and the clock is ticking.

I'll tell you what though: I'd be way more predisposed towards friendship if you forward to me copies of logs involving conversation between Gekko and you for the last 15 days, what say you? I'll make you REAL famous....

I would really like a statement from bter and steve regarding this mess.

I believe they were good. I'm never aware of a single moment Steven was not trying to grow the project. Bob and Gekko made up the FAQ, for my to correct it there was a lot of pressure for me to develop. I was working like a dog while they hung it over my head lying all the time.

Their group made and controls the website.

regardless lin and steve should make a statement when they are available and give their view on what has transpired over the last 6 hours and what they view as the future for bay.

Without these guys, Bay can be excellent.

Yep selling the stuff of all those Alibaba connected people that were bound by NDA agreements, right? Steven the "innocent" and Zimbeck the Turd behind it, success is practically guaranteed!
