1261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC) | PoS | No premine | No IPO on: December 16, 2014, 09:15:20 PM
Since Zimbeck the Turd was exposed by the scam he aided and abetted and participated in enthusiastically, BlackCoin has lost 30% in market cap. Is BlackHalo an asset of BlackCoin? I'd say, if it is, it is a very costly one at $650,000... and counting. But I would venture that, even for free, it isn't an asset at all. And his "creator" (he actually copy/pasted it to a great extent), is definitely a (huge) liability.

As if the project itself needed more liabilities that the one that have already burdened it in the deadly spiral that, so far, accounts of losses approaching 95% from the ath...
1262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE BYTECENT DISASTER on: December 16, 2014, 09:07:51 PM
NEW DEVELOPMENTS...

Now we have the inevitable IconicExpert paranoia by which there are individuals out there trying to "hurt" Bytecent because, you know, he and a couple of friends put up a couple of mini-buy walls and they were "eaten up" withing minutes... Pathetic, as IE himself, pretending anyone "out there" really cares about BYC's destiny, much less invest a few secons, let alone a few BTC in "hurting" such minimal side-show in crypto.

No, as I pointed out just above, the big problem of BYC -besides IE's personality and character flaws, that is- is that there is bat least 30% of the total coins available, that miners have gotten for free. And, like one poster posted in a "tweet", "you have to lock in profits at some point". And that is, exactly, what those miners with thousands upon thousands of BYC that they have gotten for free, are doing: Selling them. And, consequently, dropping the price becauyse, for them, all the proceeds are clean, 100% profit.

Will this continue for long? I don't believe so because the redistribution will consume the available coins for sale very quickly... except that the volume is minimal and therefore, that will extend this redistribution phase.

Additional problem, and of significance, is that there are a lot of people -some of which I have personally knowledge of- that are trying to mine BYC and they simply can't. For days. Even for an entire week. A rather powerful laptop, for instance, that has been trying to mine for over a week, has produced  ZERO coins. I have witnessed this myself. And I know of several similar cases. And this is in the US where there are no restrictions or bans I know of. THAT is a big problem because one of those people simply transferred the coins to Bittrex, sold the coins and uninstalled the wallet. Gonzo. Proof of Miner, apparently, hasn't worked properly yet... while thousands of coins keep on being mined daily, way above the 1440 limit daily. This is quickly catching up with BYC and, if not properly and decisively solved, will precipitate its undoing.

And then, there's IE, always IE... his broadcasts positive? Hummm.... too much talk, too much asking for money (to put up sell walls) and too much "patience", the mantra that no one in crypto wants to hear at all. The ONLY way for crypto "investors" to be patient is if the price continues going higher... or at least remain within a channel of solid gains. Otherwise, it's cash out and move to another project.

What is in the future of BYC that warrants "patience"? Absolutely nothing. Lets forget about common places, euphemisms and other forms of BULL SHIT. There's NOTHING, technologically speaking, to look for in the future of BYC. Nor none of them are needed! It is just pure, raw bullshit. BYC only needs, first, TO WORK. And I mean PROPERLY WORK: not one BYC beyon 1440 mined daily. Period. No ifs, no buts. And then, just IE's specialty: Promotion, promotion, promotion. Nothing else is needed. More people knowing about BYC and coming into the community, will prop up the price. But they have to consume MORE, way more than the 1440 coins mined daily. Forget about "walls", whales, imaginary enemies out to destroy it... It's way simpler than that: It needs to work, needs to be fair and that every miner gets to mine on their CpU. And it has to be known by the crypto community AND, way more importantly, by the average Joe and Jane than can jump into crypto, through BYC, without having to buy BTC first (already possible). The currently minimal community, has to grow. Exponentially. Nothing else. No patience, no more money, no Bullshit. How about a small dosage of HONESTY?

I bet it'll go a long way.

Question: Is any IP banned on CoinBlab actually staking?

I have caught a hint that IE may be blocking every IP that has been banned on CoinBlab. I doubt it but getting corroboration would be great.

Thanks in advance.
No, to be honest we are calling it "ban" but it's "restriction". He just got all IP ranges from country register and put restriction to it.

Well, I have had tips from people that had been mining for 4-5 days straight and they haven't minted one single coin. A minimum of one per day, probably more, should be expected, with a regular laptop, right?

1266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitBay | Decentralized Marketplace | Unmoderated Thread on: December 15, 2014, 10:33:29 PM
Careful:  Bitbay's current price increase is a textbook pump. The price is being lifted by tiny transactions. There's no real volume behind any of it.

who t.f. cares.

Markets can go and take a hike to themselves for now.

There is work to be done that doesn't require them.

Just as I said above you fucking wanker, you don't care the scam is continuing.

can you just let it go .
You do understand that nobody cares right .
Once the marketplace is implemented this coin will hit the moon.
Even if someone with big fat wallets of bay become rich , let it be so .

Let me spell it out to you slowly.

There is no decentralized market. There is no Holly from Taiwan. There are no secret chinese investors. There are no Ali Baba connections.

There are only 5 grifters who started a coin and took all your money.

One was hired to "market" (read: pump) the ICO.  Another owned an exhange in china and was responsible for moving large amounts of fake BTC through his exchange in order to simulate a Walmart style black friday feeling during the ICO. Another was David's nursemaid and psychological caregiver. And then there is David, alone in a room in Cambodia.

Now what about this picture convinces you a world-changing decentralized market is in the cards anytime soon?

hey barabbas,

you are right. there is no decentralized market right now. That's because is in development, there is a roadmap and a developer team that published various statements regarding it. Finally the team can deliver after the shit storm that you and your nasty friends made up.
You can find all the info you need on the official thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=890531.0), i guess you already know it Wink

Damned you're brilliant! You caught me! And I thought I'd be getting away this week as Michael Jackson under one of my 3,000 and some handles... Never counted on such amazing intellect, such raw brilliancy... After this, I'm ready and willing to be your devoted slave until I get to reach at least 1% of your level of intelligence...

You really are amazing...

Check Saffron coin.
SFRDirect will be released soon. And decentralized exchange too.

You have got to be kidding me... Saffron, the one whose market cap is $33,000? That one?

Come on, let's at least attempt to be serious, ok?
1269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Basket of Decentralised Market Focused Altcoins on: December 15, 2014, 03:00:37 AM
Are you looking for some advice on how to choose altcoins, or specific coin recommendations?  If you are looking for specific recommendations, take every word posted with a grain of salt, because everyone promotes their own [Suspicious link removed]d Luck!

Thanks for the links Im looking for specific coins/devs working on decentralized markets, thats where the future is .. but from what Ive read here theres a ton of BS in this arena...bitbay comes to mind but this technology is going to change things....a basket of these is the safest way to play this, at least for me....

cheers
Eraserhead

Well cheers to you too but the idea that decentralized markets is where the future is is so absurd that it actually means the exact opposite since, by their own nature, decentralized market are going to be taken down by aw enforcement, anywhere and everywhere, in all significant cases, no exceptions... with jail time for those responsible and seizure of ALL coins. This is not theory but corroborated facts, along with the publiclyu expressed determination of the law enforcement agencies across the globe behind it, so the future of decentralized market was, as a matter of fact, yesterday.

But cheers again to you anyway.
1270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking to take over a coin on: December 15, 2014, 02:23:06 AM
I wouldn't recommend you do that. Especially now while entire crypto scene is bleeding.

I have development skills that far exceed most of the developers in this industry. I can bring something fresh and innovative to the industry. I am looking for a long term project.

But your "fresh and innovative..." somehow requires cloning one or take over and existing one? I am really impressed... please keep me informed of where you land, ok? I will be anxious to invest a huge amount in such a promising project...

By the way, do you realize that there's no such a thing as "long term" ion crypto? It is an anachronism in terms, actually. Much like one night stand and long term relationship... get it?
1271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [VRC] | VeriCoin | POS-NSDI | VeriBit | VeriSend | VeriSMS | SuperNET Core on: December 15, 2014, 02:17:53 AM
James, by the way, has no plans for VRC at all. Oh he will add some kind o cloud storage on loan from Storj to pretend it's some "asset" to justify the usage of the stooges to keep himself out of the limelight while those guys will be the face of the SuperNET, but that's all. He has no other interest -nor time to dedicate to... although he has plenty of free time-, to Vericoin, which, to him, is nothing but an expensive suitys to be used on specific ocassions... In this case, the funeral of VRC.

So are you predicting there won't be achieved a 50k nor 100k price by James? That promise seemed very unrealistic in the first place and I said all the time that it's a bollocks, but he was so convincing that at some stage I almost believed him. But of course, even if he would want it that won't be possible in this non existent market.

Nope, not 50K, not even half of that best case scenario. Maybe half of half of that if and when the full integration takes place... and just for a few minutes.

I believe you will remember my prediction of a couple weeks ago, when I stated that ALL coins, including long established ones, will lose within 75 and 95% of it's market cap? it's just a matter of (not a lot) time. VRC is at least 1/3 of the way there and are so many others the list is too long, but the bulk is yet to come.

oh the new, insane dev's first contribution will be a new wallet for VRC of imminent release. Remember Doug was never able to get around and have one for Windows that worked properly? Well, this new, insane, guy, supposedly will be able to do just that.

And, I believe, nothing else.

Not that it matters much really, he would want to consider the new rage in crypto, another decentralized market, and much like Blackcoin or Viacoin or... about 20 others, it would mean exactly one thing: shit.

One week of non stop FUD and the price actually goes up.  Bobsurplus no longer controls anything in the cryptoworld. He has become irrelevant.

You must be stoned. Millions of free coins out there. look at the frickin charts the past four days, show me where bob surplus exited this coin. they can milk this cow from now til next summer.

And I plan on doing just that!

Word of advice bobby-boy: Ryan plans -actually "Holly" does, but he goes along as enthusiastically as Zimbeck went- on becoming top dog and leave you hanging to dry in the next one, you know, the April one? This alone will be worth more than 200 BTC, but I offer it to you for free. Harakiri is coming...

Dont you get it???

I could care less... You guys think you know me... but none of you really do!

 Wink

I can say with confidence.  I do.

This will be my last post.

The world now knows what you did and have done.  I ask the crypto community to either side with a scamming looser or with developers who CARE about the future of crypto-currency.

I choose Crypto.

Bye everyone, hope what I have said helps clear the air re:zimebeck.

None of you guys care about crypto.. you all just care about making money... Its ok.. blocknet chats... they coming... bitswift chats.. they coming....

Blocknet chats?  Blocknet has nothing to hide, and is not a scam.  The funds are held in secured escrow'd accounts and the address's public.  The alpha prototype client can be compiled from github... so don't bring blocknet in this shit storm and Bitswift was saved by Paul and he's actively developing the features some of which are ALREADY available in the v2 wallet

Dan

Hey Metcalf, you are way worse than Zimbeck... by the simple math you have been doing it  -scamming, to be 100% clear- for much longer. You are done in crypto, you know that don't you, piece of shit? Prometheus, on the other hand -your personal Bobsurplus, for the non-initiated-, is still free as a bird to continue his lowlife scamming with others, mind you, because you are worthless to him or anyone any more. Like Zimbeck. That's where scammers like you both end... before getting inside the cells that are to be their homes for a long time. You are on your way kid.
1277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitBay | Decentralized Marketplace | Unmoderated Thread on: December 14, 2014, 10:53:00 PM
As for IE, I put him on THE WALL OF SHAME for his peculiar handling of the so called Wall Street event, which I opposed completely from the get go. The guy does very idiotic things on account of his uncontrolable ego and his victim complex by which there are always excuses that impede him to assume responsibility for what he does -or allows others to do, on his name- wrong. But I have to call it like it is and, although a public manipulator -quite different from scummy Bob and Ryan or Prometheus or others like those-, he has no scammed anyone. I don't give a fuck about the guy, too many character flaws, but what's true is true. And I don't give a fuck either about you or anyone else putting any or all credibility on me, up to you and up yours, actually, in your particular instance. But the trail is there for the interested parties to follow and decide.

You acted your usual stupid self, for weeks, while you were being told -by me and others- why this was an obvious scam. It doesn't matter. In true IE fashion, you choose to blame how I said it for you to not believe it. More power to you and I hope you loss in direct proportion with the lesson you have been taught. More are coming, I am pretty sure.

Of course I remember SPA. You or others, hopefully saved some money by not investing on such display of incompetence, fully denounced by me from the get go, in both Spanish and English. It is posted here, anyone can check it. It is still a monument of incompetence that will never be worth shit. Like you.

As for the KNC miner, that idea went off the wall the moment I found out that company was associated with an individual accused of pedophilia in the US, but it was a good idea at the time... if only they delivered on their promises, which I don't believe they did BUT have done in the past and made a small fortune for those who did similar things to the proposed acquisition. Was anything wrong or shady in any way on that?

The fact that you claim the stupid Wall St. event was even a notable blip in the history of IE says everything it needs to.  How about the unfilled orders for cards?  Yes, he eventually filled the first batch... but he collected from many more than that.  How about XLB - basically all of it (oh, was that because you were posting all over the place how that was legit - at least until it clearly wasn't).  Thankfully, I didn't fall for that crap at all!  As far as the KNC Miners... uh, long before that they had a history of failing to fill orders, pushing delivery, shipping units that had already been used (by them)... and it was all out in the open there.  Granted they were better than BFL... but only just.

You know the reason everyone thinks you're IE - because, like him, you only go on your FUD crusades when it's something you're not in on personally.  Otherwise you're alternatively a cheerleader or quiet as a mouse.  Cheesy  Oh and sorry, I lost practically nothing - so actually the lessons and entertainment it's provided have been nothing but pure profit on all sides.  After the returns trading the FUD/euphoria waves, I was down to less than .75BTC of the 2.5BTC I invested... which that 2M BAY basically covered.  Disappointed? Wink

This is all just a game that will end up going no where, but it is a very interesting socioeconomic experiment, wouldn't you agree?

You think and do what you want, I am not here to tell you what you should think, but I think in this case Barabbas should be the last person to be attacked. Actually Barabbas articulated first the main characteristics of this scam. For the full disclosure, I have quite a lot disagreements with him on logistical and technical topics, but he is normally correct on development, business and organizational issues - even if he is IE, Lady Gaga or Wayne Rooney (which it the most unlikely scenario ... but on that note I am off because Manchester United-Livepool is just starting)

LOL.  I just love tweaking Barabbas because I think he's entertaining.  It has nothing to do with him being right or wrong - and I've now stated numerous times that he was 100% right about this(as were you).  I just think he's a waste of air in general simply because of the way he goes about things.  Remember XLB?  I do and on that I was Barabbas (I just didn't go posting FUD and screaming about it all the time). I said it was crap, warned others to either trade it as a scam or stay far away... all while he was doing cartwheels up IE's ass and telling people it was going to the moon.  At least until it worked out exactly the same as BAY did - except IE was the 'Bob', Barabbas was the one posting rabidly in support of it, and that time it was the dev & his goons that got pissed and dumped in their faces (at least that's what they claim happened... I have my own suspicions as to who dumped first actually).

Basically, I type very fast - and he does as well I assume... so it's fun to get him to head off into long, fuming rants screaming at me about something or another... and he seems to really get off on it too. Smiley (I'm sure I'll have some great literature to read in response to this as well when I get back into the office).

This entire site, and for the most part cryptocurrency in general, is completely full of dreamers, scammers, idiots, trolls, and self-proclaimed messiahs (with most of us - myself included of course - filling more than one of those roles, depending on the circumstances).  Oh yeah, and a very tiny handful of people actually doing work - some honest, most not so much.  Regardless, it's great entertainment and a pleasant distraction from my real work.

I never paid for any BTC, so everything I throw it at - whether it works out or doesn't - is gravy.  To me the goal is to see the ideas occur and come to fruition... which doesn't come for free, and isn't without risks... and sometimes you get innovation from very unlikely sources in my experience (who knows... maybe even in this instance).

I don't believe that BTC is any better or different - it's almost totally moved by corruption and greed (not completely of course, but still predominantly).  I think the alts are worse in most ways... but we often benefit from questionable innovation.  Without the porn industry, private video recording and playback would have been almost completely prevented by the MPAA.   Without piracy, we wouldn't have seen such great open source development go into codecs/optimization and streaming technology for both audio and video.  The same research that created the atom bomb also created clean(ish) power and cancer treatments (of course, it also caused many of those cancers, so maybe that one is a zero-sum game).  Cheesy

Whether you like it or not, financing the Dark Web is, by far, one of the most significant roles BTC plays currently - and has been ever since it started being worth more than a dollar.  Not saying that's bad - just saying it's not a neighborhood you should be surprised to find populated largely by criminals. Wink

PS - Enjoy your football and have a pint for me - should be a good one I think.

You bore me to death, but have mention Liberty Coin and there'[s a full thread THE CASE OF LIBERTY COIN, by me, on these threads, where everything is fully explained. In detail. I did supported it, along with IE. As I have found to be usual, while IE pretended to have everything in full control, it ended up not being true and he did not even have the password to the official thread. Very naive on his part but he just trusted another lowlife bastard, Carlos Ferguson. And, at the time, he had too many enemies -from Black Coin- to be able to survive. A few community members also conspired against him when, at my insistence, he tried to take control and fork the coin. As usual in him, the task was too difficult -only for personal reasons- and instead of fight and go the distance and take full control, he chose to leave. Liberty coin was huge opportunity missed. A huge success that was inevitable, became just another Ferguson scam. And you are wrong: I still have the modest amount of LibertyCoins I had when it started... even though I could have sold them BEFORE the panic broke. Call it naive, the project was so good that I expected to convince IE to just start a NEW LIBERTY COIN. I failed and he chose, obviously with better judgement than me, to create his own coin from the scratch. I still believe he would have been more successful if instead of Bytecent he would have called it New Liberty, but we will never know that any more.

So, to cut the shit out, you are wrong, as usual. Even when you read the official level of the see.

But I am not interested in debating any further, you are of no consequence to me in any way and don't want to either engage or entertain you -unless it is in pay-per-view, of course-, so believe as you must. Ta da!

@ Zimbeck the Turd.

I will answer you here for I have already told you before I do NOT appreciate you contacting me privately. Everything right here, in the open, where it will stay forever and not disappear at the whim of anyone.

I will gladly meet you in person -and promise I will try my best to restrain from violence, tempted as I will be-. In person. Not skype. Not e-mail. None of that bullshit that you love because it feeds you with opportunities to continue your pathological lying. I have only accused you, from the get go, EXACTLY of what you are guilty as sin: Aiding and abetting and benefiting from the whole scam that was built -as I told you many times, all in these public forums and still fully available for consultation- as a house of cards on your name and with your full, enthusiastic approval... once you got the taste of money -you mildly "protested" for about 5 seconds until money was sent to you, not afterwards when you refused, again and again, to come clean and bring down the full house of cards... because you WANTED MORE MONEY fully knowing what was going on. As a matter of fact, you now CONTINUE doing exactly the same. Only the rats (Bob and Ryan) are out. But the real crooks are still in: YOU, first and foremost, "Steven" and Lin.

It is of no significance to me at all if you want to believe I am Bobsurplus, Han Solo, Wonder Woman or, as UK suggested, Lady Gaga. Believe whatever suits your sick mind. I choose to remain anonymous because I have no obligation to anyone. I have never accepted -although offered a couple of times- a since cent on ANY currency or commodity or service, unlike you. If what I post is of use to anyone -it is and some have been gracious enough to apologize and/or thank me for it-, that's great and satisfy me completely, especially if I have been able to save some people some money; if you don't find it useful -or if you find it offensive, you and the COLLECTIVE you, fuck you all very much, ok? What you see is what you get. End of story.

As for what you want, I could lie and say I don't really care... but since I never, ever, lie, I have to admit that whatever you want, for the simple fact that you want it, it is enough for me to want for you the opposite. See? You are a despicable individual, as fully proven by the BAY scam you aided and abetted in and benefited from at the expense of the crypto community as the piece of shit individual that you are. Not only did you hurt the BAY blind, greedy ones, you also hurt the entire BlackCoin community... not that they don't deserve some of that medicine -in some cases-, but the big damage is to the entire digital currencies world that you litter with your presence. And for that you are my enemy. And for that I want you out of crypto altogether, not juswt be the pariah that you are going to be from now on. Get the message?

That piece of punk garbage that Bobsurplus is -still leaps and bounds above you-, could never, in his best, more high on pot day, even remotely come close to  this answer to you. His "talents" are for scamming, scheming and conning, nothing else whatsoever. And I am in the opposite side of that front that, again, you enthusiastically chose to join and for which you will pay for as long as you wander through cryptoland. Since it appears full justice and law enforcement will not come to cryptoland for a while yet, call it poetic justice. Exceptionally deserved.

As for Bob and Ryan, they are both in self destruct mode, too stupid and greedy to avoid the inevitable double harakiri, so poetic justice will flourish in that camp too real soon. Where it won't, on the other hand, is in the one of your bosses, "Steven" and Lin. They are just started, Too late to the party, mind you, but with plenty of carrion still available for such vultures.

Me? I will continue to do my best, until I get totally bored -which I feel it'll happen very soon-, to warn innocents and greedy blind bastards alike, of what I see and discover in this cesspool of criminals and low lives like you.

One again, leave my PM alone and any lies or "requests" you may have, in public. Most likely I will ignore you altogether from now on since everything that needed to be said has been already. In spades.

In the light of the Bitbay scam, I was wondering are the three VRC developers really that much different from David Zimbeck? Many-many promises of the VRC developers were never delivered, from moral and integrity viewpoints there is no significant difference.

Oh you have it all wrong there UK. While the stooges have proven to be extremely limited in their coding abilities and much more limited in other areas, they are not scammers. Nor have they allowed scammers on board in any capacity. So VRC has fallen on their own recognizance of ineptitude, nothing else: A useless coin just freefalling to their death on absolute obsoletism. That's what happens to any and all altcoins -and rightfully so- unless you find a way to make it useful in the real world in the limited span of time you have to achieve that (best case scenario, 6 months).

They had their chances but they blew it. But calling it a scam is just untruthful and unfair.

You obviously have missed the somewhat subdue shout out by Very veri Viral on twitter: Vericoin has a new -and according to VVV, "incredible" - dev. Which means full admission of the evident: The stooges don't have anything left in the tank, technically (in other areas it has been fully evident for many, many months). Now, this new guy has been able to get the price up... oh 1% since all time lows (almost), so that's the level of trust the community has in the future of this turd, damaged already beyond recoup.

But, for the sake of Xmas spirit and good will, lets give this "new" guy the benefit of the doubt... just for the Xmas season. Dazzle us "incredible" dev. You have 2 more weeks.
