The scam is not epic at all. It is a total failure, as a matter of fact and when all is said and done and BTER is paid their commission, they will probably be in the hole after having paid Zimbeck his 100BTC and 20 million BAY (which he won't be able to cash for anything of significance. I am going to guess that no more than 300BTC -and quite probably much less- was sole between 250-300 sat. And they have had a few expenses. Plus BTER charges commission whether they are in on the back end deal or not, so the "chinese" guy is in for a very rude awakening when this goes to 25 sat well before Christmas and declared technically dead before the new year.

Not to mention that Zimbeck still has to come up with some semblance of a marketplace before BTER releases the final 33%.

So no, as far as scams go, even the guys at XBOT got close to 100 BTC clean. This guys will more than  probably end in the red.

As for Bobsurplus, I don't believe he is in on this one... yet. Now he's trying to get people to bet on a price and, supposedly, he will bet on a higher price than anyone. It could be interested because this will be another scam, quite a different one... and a very risky one... unless the "chinese" fully participates, because while Bob buy massively, the "chinese" will be dumping like mad (unless he is in on it). If "he" is in on it -most likely- it sounds like a master stroke as scams go because a lot of people will believe in Bob pump -with good reason, for it will be real- and would want to participate on the run up.

Now, if that materializes, it is going to be quite epic with both the "chinese" and Bob dumping on the people (after collecting the bets, of course). Macchiavelian scheme and scam, indeed. Needless to say, I'll be watching every step of the way.

Why lying again Zimbeck? Last time you "ever talk(ed) there" was to inform everyone that you had delivered the wallet and to "threaten" with releasing it yourself if they did not in an hour (which you did not follow through, by the way). That's the opposite of "tech". That's MISLEADING the investors by posting precisely the OPPOSITE of  what to pretend is the truth: That you are just an independent contractor hired to do a job.

I still think this is worth nothing at all... but I have to admit that a few coins can be sold here and there for a few more sat than I ever imagine. A very few.

What is wrong is that, since the get go, he was put forward as the "Lead developer" and since he (privately) protested for such denomination, he was then referred to as "Project Manager" and, subsequently, "Lead coder". THE PROBLEM though is that there's no other name, let alone real name, being made public but his. And 100% of people investing in BAY consider -in a huge part because he allows that to happen- that Zimbeck is indeed BAY, not a guy whose software is bought and who is supposed to code a couple of additional features but whose commitment is limited at that. Zimbeck delivers the software, BTER releases the final 33% and that's the end of the story. And he has chosen, inexplicably, not to set the record straight on the official thread... although he has made it abundantly clear in other threads. That's HIS choosing. And that  is WRONG, because it is misleading and because it willingly lends his name to a scam. And HE knows it, so he is an accomplice in it, a fully willful accomplice.

For the purpose of this thread, the coding abilities of Zimbeck are totally irrelevant. He could be a genial coder or the clumsiest one and still wouldn't make the slightest difference since he is the ONLY real name behind the BAY scam and, therefore, the responsible party for the losses of those who trusted him and decided to invest in the scam. THAT is the point of this thread, not his abilities.

And yes he has been quite open here... while still misleading investors in the official BAY thread, which is underhanded and the opposite of honorable behavior.

While the first part of your scenario is not questionable (BK SHOULD offer complete transparency regarding NSF), the second part just makes no sense whatsoever ("dumping the price and let his customers buy enough..."? That is just an exercise in absurdity, sorry).

You fail to see, apparently, that there's no "maybe" here... it IS a scam, therefore it cannot "work out eventually". There's no eventuality here. It is a scam, designed to get whatever amount of coins they can get from the ICO and subsequent liquidation. That's the thin and the thick of it.

It's been practically not trading for 2 days... until a bit ago when it picked up the pace. It maybe that most holders are just staking but the delisting danger seemed apparent for a while there. Hopefully trading continues at some level now that some trades have occurred.

What does serve the purpose of perpetuating the scam is Zimbeck's refusal to completely distance himself from it, which makes him a full accomplice. Whether it is Bobsurplus or some "chinese" behind it, matters little. The one making it possible is Zimbeck. There will be repercussions and consequences accordingly.

Meanwhile people has been severely hurt already, unnecessarily, on BAY. With more to come. Once again, ask yourselves "who is doing the dumping, continues dumping, after the wallet release, at half the price of the ICO?" There's only one answer and everyone knows it.

This WALL welcomes absolutely everybody and anything anyone wants to post but it would help keep things in order.

The scam that BAY obviously is, has already been posted here in some detail (and further on that other thread I just linked). The only other thing that should be noted is that the infamous Bobsurplus has surfaced on the BAY censored thread, which means he's involved if not, as I have been tipped, the "Chinese" connection, meaning the guy who hired Zimbeck to help perpetrate the scam.

More developments I am sure will come in in the next few hours and hence forward.

Regarding "Pirates 2" Zimbeck was an extra on it and extras don't get credited on IMDB. He likes to call it "glorified extra" but thare's nothing "glorifying" it: He was just an extra in the film.
