Dow isn't tanking, just looks like a minor correction, now only down 1%.

The USD won't keep rallying forever either. I'm of the opinion that there will be no true safe haven, in the event of another economic collapse. That's why it's best to diversify.

I am speechless. Thanks for the cheap XCP. Dump on what appears to be a perfectly nice community update. Again, speechless but I won't look a gift horse in the mouth.
I agree. It's a great time to shake weak hands though. With the recent BTC drop, a lot of people are on edge.

Today's low: 246.7
Over 20k was dumped but it recovered to 250 fast.
Today's low was under 200. Depending on the exchange, I think only Bitfinex was actually under $200. Coinbase low was around $217. Seeing $200 as the low for Coinbase, unless you mean the regular site and not the exchange. BTC-E, which usually has a lower price than the rest, surprisingly didn't go past $220.

If it jumps up higher (say $250) that would be bullish for me. Until then though, this looks like a short lived rise and real dumping has yet to begin. Not enough volume on this crash to really call it a definitive bottom.

Doubt it. I think we'll go sub $100 this time.

Just predict something ridiculous like the price going under $200 and staying there or double digit coins, so that you can disappear from the forum once your prediction is proved false. Or say something like "bitcoin will never reach $2000!" so that we can laugh at you a few years from now. PS: tell me, are we still headed to single digits, or was that just your prediction prior to the run up to $1000+!? Man, you calling $110 a huge bubble... Just wait for the hard fork... I think 110 is a very positive estimate considering what will happen... I'm completely flabbergasted on how so many of you permabulls don't see how this fork is absolutely devastating in every conceivable way... You're just as delusional as the permabulls though. You talk like any bad news for Bitcoin is always a doomsday event.
if public gets notice of this fork-thing we could easily go double digits.
Will it even get attention on mainstream news outlets? Probably not... I mean, a lot of them avoid mentioning Bitcoin at all anymore and just focus on "the Blockchain."

Doubt that's actually Satoshi. His other email was compromised, this one could very well be too.

Looks like people are starting to buy up Ether with BTC. Just now on Kraken: Went down to 0.0026 just a few hours ago on Poloniex. No idea why people were paying so much for it earlier, it was obvious there would be massive dumps once more people started transferring coins to exchanges.
Looking at the charts on finex, it seems someone panicked and dumped around 800 coins when the Satoshi news hit. Dropped to $283.2 but went up immediately after.

ok, just bit the bullet. locked and sold at 276.4 (1 BTC) Done for now! back to holding and waiting for the next BIG pump You probably sold the bottom... I think chances are good it'll bounce from these levels.
Hmm... EUR/USD is down on the deal, spiked briefly but then took a dive.
As for Bitcoin I'm thinking we'll stay above 280.
I think we'll hit $300. We've gotten too close to not hit it at this point. Whether it will be sustained is a different story though, hopefully it is.

Simple, the market is not seeing any value in LTC. It's just being used as a way to siphon off BTC from suckers, as evidenced by the latest pump and dump. LTC faithful kept saying it would go to the moon yesterday and today we are seeing a massive 50% drop. Anyone that bought in yesterday got wrecked. I tried to warn people...
Also, I got out when I heard it wasn't ASIC resistant anymore. Wasn't that the whole point about LTC? Sure it has some other tweaks, but ultimately isn't much different from BTC.

He's right that there will be a large increase in home internet speeds soon in the US. A lot of companies are starting to roll out gigabit plans.
Tbh I wouldn't be surprised if there is some big news coming, that mini pump looks like insider info.
I would agree. Gut feeling is we're going up at least in the short term.

Doesn't look very convincing yet.

Today is a good day, BTC up and one of the few alts I hold XMR rose 30%.
I've been buying more Crazy some people are willing to sell below 0.004, probably many of them got in during the burn but BTC was also $500-600 back then. At these low price levels, the USD value of one XCP is close to what it was during the burn.
