Does FX5200 even support CUDA? I don't think it does. Even if you could mine on that it would cost you way more in electricity.

i know this topic is really old but i read about "coding in my sleep" blog article which mentions that adsense stopped monetizing his blog. is google starting again to disable accounts with bitcoin traffic?
i am showing google adsense on cryptocoincharts.info with a lot of traffic and never had problems the last weeks/months..
Sounds like FUD. Instead of an assault on Bitcoin-related sites more likely is that someone click bombed him and Google shut down the account as a result, that has been known to happen.

question regarding reputation threads, can't the person that started the thread delete posts from it anyway? I know they can't fake the good feedback but they could just delete the negative stuff?
Only if it's self-moderated. There is a notice at the top of any thread that has this enabled.

I don't get this at all, so you read on the forum this user was a scammer and still send him coins knowing you'd get scammed to prove a point? I mean, it was a small amount, but still makes no sense to me...

A message to all. The chain had forked early while being released, which caused a decent amount of coins to be lost. We are stable now with no coin losses. Now it is time to set more bounties!
What's the deal with the 300k premine, you really need that much for bounties?

Do the fans look that pink in person, or just on camera?
Not as bright, more of a light-red. Camera flash oversaturated it. I haven't heard any VRM noises or coil whine, the card is whisper quiet until >50 % fan speed, only really gets loud at 70 % or above and even then it's not bad compared to other cards I've owned.

Stop throwing around baseless accusations. Yes, there are people with way more than 30 MH/s out there, I've seen as high as 70 MH/s

Hello guys I have a request to those people who have spare coins. I have lost $26 because of Liberty reserve If there is some one who could give me his spare coins that he will not be needing then Plz donate those to me I really need that lost money. And if there is any one who can tell me what to do to get my money back PLZ tell me. I would be really thankful to the person who helps me.

I lost 235 BTC in the FTC crash, please help me! Man you are a rich man that means but I have spent $450 just to get in this game and now from the start I have started to lose money. It was really difficult for me to afford a PC of that kind but I wanted to start something that can help me financially but now I am in real tension after losing just $26 I know that its not a big amount for people like you but every on on earth is not like you my friend. Might want to rethink your priorities if you think losing $26 is a lot. Investing in crypto-currencies is risky, and investing in coins other than Bitcoin is even more risky.

This is good, this one reduced largely the instamine. yep! this is the first diff adjustment scheme to reduce the instamine, it's great! No it's not. DigitalCoin and Nibble used a better approach.

WorldCoin. It was hyped up massively by a lot of members here and now it's trading below YAC. If these guys believed in the coin at all they'd be buying it up right now at the current price.
elacoin, FC2, etc were basically DOA so not counting those.

Do you guys realise how much dirty money was passing through their service? They were known for their off-shore old and reputable service, with no chargebacks.. liberty reserve was the nš1 currency for dark bussiness
-malware money -fraud money -hacks sales -etc
anyone who knows a little about this bussiness knows that liberty reserve was accepted by anyone doing those..
now bitcoin will get its place
Get ready for the shitstorm
The way I see it these people still need Bitcoin, and if it's more difficult to get for them price will go UP.

Cgminer difficulty is calculated differently...
Type getmininginfo in the LKY client to get the real difficulty.

Can anyone who has been here a while explain this to me? In stocks there's value based on fundamentals. But since these coins have no business plans and no revenues there's no way to value them so you go off how rare they are, supply and demand model.
Ok then.
So how is feather coin worth $.10, 10 times what ixcoin is selling for, while at thre same time having nearly 15 times as many coins - 380 million to Ixcoin's max 21 million.
So why isn't ixcoin trading at parity with feathercoin which would put it at $1.50? This makes no sense.
Am I missing something here or is this a huge opportunity to buy more IXcoin. I'm now up to 41,000 iXcoin. I paid about $420 for them. Roughly 2.5 bitcoins and I see it as less risky since bitcoin's value is enormous given it has no real value, no real business plan and no future earnings. You'd have to be nuts to buy bitcoin at $120 for any reason other than a short term trade or to buy other coins with it.
IXcoin is dead - why would the value go up? There's no future prospects for it. Amount of coins means relatively little, it is the current demand that determines price. And Bitcoin has no real value? I don't know where to begin. There's been plenty of infrastructure built around Bitcoin in the past year, future prospects are looking good...

What's up with using the Twitter logo? What does that have to do with Nibble ?
Um, the only resemblance is that it's blue... and Twitter wasn't the first with such a design.

16k coins is "ultra-instamine" now? Would be nice.
You don't seem to get it. Only a few people got in on the early instamine = ultra-instamine. Majority of the coins right now are only in a few hands. The 16k was just an example, others got way more I'm sure. Other coins like WDC were an instamine too but the difficulty didn't go up as fast so more got in on it. Like I said, DigitalCoin and Nibble used a good approach to combat this and LuckyCoin could have done the same.

How is difficulty up to 4 on this already?? It was released like one minute ago. Why on earth is anyone still mining ?
Difficulty is at 4 because of the large number of early adopters. You're probably used to the other recent coins that had millions of coins instamined in the first few minutes that were shortly dumped thereafter. The lower supply and no single person holding a majority share of the coins should actually help this coin keep some value and credibility. Except it was an ultra-instamine. A few people got an absurd amount of coins in the first 20 minutes or so before difficulty went up to sane levels. One guy here racked up 16k coins in the beginning. We've seen better ways to tackle this with ascending block rewards - see DigitalCoin and Nibble. It seems obvious to me the OP decided to use a flawed approach so he could get lots of coins for himself. If you want to support that go ahead...
