What switches are you using?

-H 1 -C 0 -m 0

-i 0 -d 0 -H 1

ManIkWeet did that, just dont know how to use it.
and my 780 using normal scrypt only get 480khash/s or so. no overclocks atall it is all stock, this is under windows 7

Yeah 480 is about what I get at stock from normal scrypt, too. I have my 780 overclocked +200 on the core. Bringing back down to stock on -jane just lowers the hashrate even more
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: January 07, 2014, 06:45:06 PM
T16x1 doesn't crash here, although with it I only get 1.4 kH/s from my 780. 1.9kH is still my personal  highest, using T10x1

Dunno what's causing such a variance in all of our hash rates, lol. I am on Windows 8 though seems most everyone else is on 7 or Linux.

My hash rates from normal scrypt are what's expected for my card I think - getting 530-550 kH/s, so I don't think anything is wrong with CUDA on my machine.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: January 07, 2014, 07:54:04 AM
T12x32 is way to big for scrypt-jane. That's what you should use on regular scrypt coins. For yacoin that kind of config would require something like 50GB of GPU ram.

Autotune is not perfect. Look at the chart (run with -D to show debug info) then try configs that are just outside the populated area of the chart, until you've explored all the edges and found your limits. When you go too far it will print something like this: "GPU #0:Launch config 'T11x2' requires too much memory!"

I'm using T20x1 on my 780 and getting 3.4 kHash. T10x2 works well for me as well.

Thanks for the tips. I've tried some but T10x1 seems to be the best still. T20x1 doesn't perform well at all on my 780 - only 1.2 kH/s :\

Driver issue maybe? Running 331.92 here.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: January 07, 2014, 06:20:10 AM
It's weird that my Yacoin results (1.9kH/s) seem to be a lot lower than everyone else's. Are you guys with the 780 overclocking your cards? I have mine at +200.

Checked MSI Afterburner to make sure and my card isn't throttling, full clocks 99% usage.

Hm, I am mining on a pool and not solo, maybe that's why.

Edit: Nah, setup solo and same hash rates.

bathrobehero: that's interesting, I'm not seeing the same here though. Changing the scan time doesn't affect hash rate at all for me.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm dumping Nxt and here's why you should too on: January 07, 2014, 05:47:37 AM
I'm out of NXT also.

I was smart enough to cash out everything at .00013, making over 20x my original purchase at .00000550. Although I lost some of it buying back in at .00009 thinking it would go back up after the source code release. So I lost a little bit selling out at .00007.

The coin is way over valued at this point in time, even at .000058.

The other thing is I am going to invest the money in Emunie, which is a 2nd generation coin and will have a fair distribution by having a pre-buy where everyone can buy in equally.

I would feel better investing my money in a coin where everyone bought in at the same price. Why invest in NXT, when you have major stake holders holding all the coins.

Does anyone else think Emunie is a good place to invest your money?

I'm also out, having enjoyed a 20x gain as well.  I figured the source code release would cause a dip.  The only thing a code release will do is unleash FUD in the short term.  NXT long term is anyone's guess.  My hunch is it won't go too far.  Not only are you fighting the usual anti crypto people but you're fighting Bitcoin for marketshare as well.  The name of the game with the alts is get in low, get out high, and move on to the next one.  Just my 2 satoshis.

I think it was more so the DGEX issues that caused the drop, not the code release. But yes, FUD has been rampant as well.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: January 07, 2014, 05:13:12 AM
Yacoin has a much higher N factor than QQcoin. Higher the N factor, less kH, basically.

Anyway, you may be right about the amount of threads. With T36x3 I was able to bring up my hashrate to 98kH/s on a 780. I'm only seeing 6% GPU usage as well. However, if I open multiple instances of cudaminer it just halves the hashrate, and GPU usage stays the same.

Maybe something to do with the way memory is allocated on the Titan kernel?
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: January 07, 2014, 04:19:27 AM
Don't use T12x32, just let autotune find the right param. T12x32 was giving me CPU validation errors so probably is for you too.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: January 07, 2014, 03:51:48 AM
using this config on my 780 for solo mining i keep getting stratum_subscribe errors. does anyone know why?
cudaminer.exe --algo=scrypt-jane -H 0 -i 0 -d 0 -l T12x32 -o stratum+tcp://127.0.0.1:3339

If solo, I don't think you'd be using stratum. Should just be http://127.0.0.1:3339
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: January 07, 2014, 03:17:19 AM
My 780 results on yacoin. The -l param I was using with scrypt would give validation errors on scrypt-jane so I switched to autotune btw

Actually there are a couple of scrypt-jane coins out there now... but they might have different start times?  might need to make that an argument

Yes, I tried changing the start values for QQcoin but the hashes are really low... getting 53kH/s vs 1.8 MH/s on a 7970. Maybe it's just not calculating N right, not sure
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: January 07, 2014, 02:26:33 AM
Is there any chance you could pm me with a link to it if you can upload it? Or even email me it?

I really want to start mining it and I can not for the life of me get it to compile

I'm not sure if the dev wants unofficial binaries posted publicly, so I've PM'ed you.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: January 07, 2014, 02:13:45 AM
Relm9, where did you get your cudaminer for scrypt-jane from?

7 is very high

For yacoin it is, but the N factor for QQcoin is still low so hashes should be much higher

I compiled it myself from the github repo.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: January 07, 2014, 02:10:32 AM
Hmm, I've just tried mining a newer scrypt-jane coin (QQCoin) and I'm only getting around 7 kH/s on my 780. That's really low, my 7970s get around 1.8MH/s currently.

I did change the nTimestamp value to the proper one for this coin in the source, is there anything else I need to change?

Edit: switched to 64-bit build instead, now getting 53kH, but that's still way lower than AMD.

Can someone post an up to date blockchain?

The latest one I have backed up is from Jan 01/02.

http://109.230.224.65/~nxt/blockchain/block30311.tar.gz

Thanks it finally started downloading a few blocks, going real slow though - guess the nodes must be under heavy load or something.

Just did a new one, http://109.230.224.65/~nxt/blockchain/block34628.tar.gz

Hope this helps.

Thanks Smiley

Announcing the MyNxt.info block explorer

http://www.mynxt.info/blockexplorer

I thought it would be good to have another option for a block explorer. This one is simpler than the existing block explorer and I intend to keep it this way, but I think it is useful for most tasks.

Features:

- block details
- account details
- transaction details
- latest blocks
- latest transactions

I will be adding block/account/transaction search functionality later today.

It is still pretty much alpha software, I am playing with some of the parameters and changing things but I would appreciate if people could take a look and give me feedback. Let me know if you find any problems/bugs/etc.

This looks great, good work so far.

I can't seem to get my client synced up with the blockchain. Fresh install and it stalls on around 12/31/2013 every time. Any ideas? Have 17 active peers...

Can someone post an up to date blockchain?

When people start making these 'it's time to get out' threads it usually means a good buying opportunity.

NXT has a huge community compared to other coins, it's worth seeing how it all plays out. If you invested more than you feel comfortable with, then sure, it may be a good idea to sell.
317  Other / Archival / Re: [VSC]Visacoin:Born for circulation--based on BTC-Gold--Project start!!! on: January 06, 2014, 05:47:06 AM
I think you need to change the distribution of the coins. At the moment you are giving a huge windfall to the first 50 people at the expense of the others who are basically taking the same chance as the first 50. Why not just make it an even, gradual, sliding scale for everyone who contributes until the IPO closes. How does the guy at place 51 feel now? Pissed off, and he supported you just as much. Just make it one sliding scale for ALL IPO contributors.

As for whether this is a scam or not, it sounds as ridiculous as NXT did, and that has made millionaires. It's a bet on an unknown, just like NXT was. The obvious difference is with the language barrier for the Visacoin guy using english. His brain might be just as interesting as BCNext's.

The original NXT client BCNext showed was some sort of selling point, but it definitely didn't scream coinmarketcap top 10 in a couple of weeks.

Anyone who missed out on the NXT genesis block and believes the NXT stakeholders are greedy or undeserving should send this guy 1 bitcoin now. If not, they should accept that their tolerance for gambling is lower than those who did. You can't have it both ways. NXT and Visacoin smell the same at the same stage (i.e. COULD be a giant scam)

It doesn't 'smell' the same as NXT. Not by a long shot. BCNext at least shared technical details, this VisaCoin guy just keeps spouting PR-drivel about how his coin is so easy to use with no real data to back it up. I realize English isn't his first language, but looking past that, he really hasn't said anything worthwhile if you dig into all his posts so far.

Also, I doubt any refunds will be sent out. People have asked earlier and he never responded. He's ignored almost all the skeptics as well. This is looking more and more like a massive scam.

I'm staying away from DGEX from now on, what a clusterfuck.

If that warning to change passwords isn't a phishing attempt by someone that's compromised the site why wasn't an email sent out? I don't log-on the site every day, and it seems something as critical as that would warrant a mass email.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [SHS] Shares [Second Generation Crypto Currency] [Project Announcement] on: January 06, 2014, 01:02:07 AM
I do feel that Block_Erupter does have some level of credibility from his previous project - Frozen.

That makes this whole thing quite fishy. He claims just being a spokesperson for Shares yet is a dev of his own coin. He also goes on to shield himself of any responsibility should the project go south or not materialize at all... hmm.

gl to investors. Btw, I'm not saying this one is a scam but the way he worded things he could just release a broken clone of NXT, call it quits, then walk away with your BTC without being called a scammer - cause that's what you agreed to by investing.
