My idea is that the link to the site they posted is a hidden java drive buy. Use your minds people. Everyone's gonna be clicking that link, and they're gonna take over your account and post shit.
Link to what site? The one in the OP...

No offense, but for being a supposed backer of BTB you probably have done it more harm than anyone else here with your spam site, creating fake bids, etc.
Not fake that's the real Rate for BTB. All unique ip So if those orders are actually going through I can sell you my BTB for 1BTC each right now and you can flip them on your forum. Easy profit.

i don't complain about coin, about pool, all of my coin in pool suddenly dis appear
We realize that, and considering no one else has had issues you likely got compromised. Stop spreading FUD without any facts. Let's analyze the situation before coming to conclusions. Do you use different passwords on all pools?

For what it's worth, I doubt BlastBob is connected to BitBar. He's been jumping on all the coins released very quickly. I remember he had around 100K CHNCoin around the time of its release. Must have a massive mining setup.

No issues here. I've received several payouts with the automatic payment function enabled.

I'm thinking hdclover is part of Trucoin's "marketing team."

Haha, I was thinking that too

Is only the Windows binary in question or the sources themselves too? (I compiled yacoind myself)
I looked through the source and it's clean. Though I can't say for certain with the prebuilt binaries, there was an 'antivirus friendly' minerd going around that triggers alerts in Virus Total, most likely that was it. Why would you even download something that the author calls antivirus friendly? Extremely suspect.

I agree. YAC will probably just come out stronger after this. The source is clean, I didn't check the prebuilt binaries but I would be surprised if they were infected. As always people should be running these new clients in a VM though.

in yacoin.org the windows client download link also is https://mega.co.nz/#!5wgDnKyZ!QLfWTXNRMRTwmb60rfpuFgzH48BCl4fpwb8paeAaqRs but before more people confirm it's no problem i remove the download link from yacoin.org Seeing as that's not an official source, you should link to the bitcointalk post for download.

Look up the txid and you'll see only 5 YAC was sent to YEGpEjFC6wGKmPxhxu63ufcdDcrUFJGa5B

It's interesting when people argue that anyone could start mining in 2 (1, 5, 15, 30, whatever) minutes. So they mean they see an announcement, download and build the code (which they haven't even heard of before!), or even worse, the binaries, and launch it on their machines right away?! Just another facepalm.
Most (I hope) run the code in a VM or sandboxed install. Got one you'd recommend? I use VirtualBox, which is free. There's also VMWare, and Sandboxie.

Actually it will, because all new coins, bad or not ultimately coming to exchanges.
Not every coin has hit an exchange. I'm just being realistic, the volume on this one has been low compared to FTC / CHN, so I can't see why an exchange would bother. If it starts getting promoted more and interest picks up, then maybe.
|
|
|
I don't think it'll hit any exchanges, the coin is dying out fast.

Did they mix up buy/sell? LOL. Anyway if that's legit someone just got rich off that trade.

This question has me wondering constantly as I try out over 30 different pools for various currencies.
What is so hard about making a good pool? So many bitcoin pools work flawlessly day after day maybe 1 interruption a month.
But trying to find a pool for: CHNC PPC TRC LTC FTC
All I am ever left with is a pool that works for maybe 12 hours and then dies constantly for the next 12 hours.. I find a new pool and the same thing happens again!
Using the excuse of DDoS attacks is highly unacceptable as while it is valid for some there is no way everyone is DDoSing every alt coin pool ever. What gives?
It's very easy to DDOS all the pools when there's not that many for alts. For a decent sized botnet it is no problem. A few days ago pools were getting hit by over 8gbit of traffic. Nearly all providers will null route your IP automatically given that size of attack, then you are looking at downtime of 12-24 hours until the next attack. The big Bitcoin pools are making quite a lot of money in fees and can afford better protection, and therefore are more resilient against these type of attacks.
