PressTab I presume if the dev doesn't contact us then we will need to host our own seed node, or at least get Yobit to upgrade? Is there anyone that can host an additional node for us. Hopefully the dev will just pull our fork and update the seed nodes accordingly, but until that is done we will need to drop them. Also anyone know how to get Chainz to change the seed node link, presumably just email when hard fork complete.
Do we need anything else at this time? I think we should get a bigger community before we implement our own forum.
I can run a temporary node. But I cannot commit to permanently running a node for you guys, this would be something to simply help with the transition and to ensure it goes smoothly. CryptoID and yobit will be fine so long as they update their daemons. I will have the code committed tonight. What does it cost to rent a node?

Maybe they are just upgrading with the latest source. I would suggest you wait. I also believe that DEV should allow people to swap their coins directly with him.
Why do you want that? An exchange is more independent and transparent. Nobody knows what happens on the PC of a dev. Unless of course you have a problem with things being done transparently.

This is like the thirtieth coin released as a coin for victims of the various crypto scams.
Did you guys really expect this one to be any good?
It is a coin for victims. It creates them.

What a crap block explorer. Did you really have to pick that one? It does not lend itself to analysis of the block chain. If you are serious about the coin you should be getting a higher quality explorer.
Also the OP is really poor. If you want to succeed you will have to do better than this.

You must inform Yobit as well and if coins on Yobit must also be moved to C-CEX.

Any suggestions to people where to move their wasted hash ?

I have made some good progress on the fork code. Hopefully should have it finished up and commited tonight or tomorrow. Assume that the fork will occur on the 21st (unless someone notifies me otherwise).
Once it is commited someone will need to notify yobit of the switchover and whoever is running the block explorer.
Sounds great.

Also delete everything except for the wallet.dat and re-download the blockchain. Or rename the directory where the wallet.dat is, re-download the chain and then copy the wallet.dat back to the new directory. Highly unlikely that there will still be errors after that because if there are then it is the wallet.dat file. If there are still errors, dump and re-import the private key into a new wallet.dat or the normal options of repairwallet. correct, you have to re-download the blockchain. We are moving away from WOC and start checking how to do the swap. I have done that still same error , the wallet wont let me dumpprivkey or repair wallet i get the same error Safe mode: Security bug affecting blockchain security was discovered. UPDATE ASAP (code -2) The OP might not have been updated with the new wallet. You have to use the link a page or 2 back in the thread. EDIT: Link in OP seems to have been taken down and replaced with ICO since POW is basically over. I remember when new wallet was posted the OP still had the old wallet link.

250,000 WOCX coins will be part of the ICO ICO address is : 1998UEQe7yotzryrRvmkZMLsLkPjuCUu63 https://blockchain.info/address/1998UEQe7yotzryrRvmkZMLsLkPjuCUu63WOC coins will be swap to WOCX coins. We need to move away from WOC as we are unable to create a working block explorer because of problems. Without block explorer we cannot continue supporting WOC. So we will convert WOC into WOCX. That is what I said rigggght in the beginning. Get a working block explorer to start with. Now that is a valid reason to create WOCX. What are the details of the WOCX ICO and how will the swop work? I've to check with C-CEX if they are willing to work with us, so meaning that we will sent them the premine swap coins and they update the wallet and do the swap, or people have to sent their coins to a WOC address that is managed by me together with their WOCX address and a swap will happen manually. When does the ICO end? And dont forget Yobit.

Can we go for an hard fork date of 21/4/2015 please? Once confirmed I will message the original dev daily to ensure he agrees to update the seed nodes.
If he doesn't does someone have access to hosting to host an official forked seed node?
Do you need anything else from us PressTab?
Original DEV from analcoin Last Active: April 07, 2015, 09:07:39 PM i realy dont think he cares anymore. And making contact with this idiotic person is going to be tuff i'm glad you stept up for this! No harm in keeping trying for as long as possible but work on plan B in the meantime.

Hello all
I can send 1,400 analcoins from the giveaway pot and replace it with staked coins? This would mean the giveaway would be delayed until the 1,400 coins were replaced or until we've all contributed to the giveaway again. If everyone is ok with that I will;
send 0.1 BTC to presstab send 1,400 analcoin to presstab
That would then be us fully paid up for the hard fork.
If we set a date for the hard fork sufficient enough time for us the original dev to update the seed nodes then that would be great.
Buttoshi
Sounds good. How much time would be sufficient to do the above actions? Perhaps presstab can recommend a suitable date?

Is there an Anal address where the community can donate Analcoins to pay for the remainder of the dev work? Vanity has 0.1 BTC as per his post above which leaves 0.15BTC still required. Presstab will also accept Analcoins @ 10k and 1,500 coins should be enough for the remainder to get the work done. There is a donor ready to contribute 500 coins which leaves 1,000 coins still required.

as soon as I see x11 being tossed around I instantly bow out. This is all something that should of been done with the original WoC and I think it's bullshit that you are now trying to "Include everybody". I have something to tell ya buddy, you are not the first coin to merge mine and you are not the first coin to try multi-algo. In fact the way you are going about this is completely convoluted and nothing more than an attempt to pump your coin.
I don't know exactly what I was hoping for with warnet but I wanted it to be something along the lines of community decides which shitcoin to destroy, one vote has concluded the entire hashrate of the WoC network turns to that coin in an attempt to 51% and fork it.
But nope you go with merge mining and attempt to pump your coin.
gl dev I am out of this one.
Agree that adding X11 now is not a good idea unless there is a very solid reason behind it that no-one knows about or cannot see without the full context, other than a haphazard afterthought. I posted my comments in the WOC(X11) thread.

This is a bad idea, especially as a haphazard afterthought - perhaps it could have worked if it was planned in upfront. WOC exists and a WOCX (read as "replace X with other algos) will just upset the market or further dilute coins.
Unless you can come up with a real solid real reason behind this and a better excuse than "not everyone was included", it should not go ahead. You should know very well that those large 3000M X11 farms exist and as soon as you open up X11 mining the pools will have 3000M hash at the number one spot and then a 500M hash and then a 120M hash and then the rest of the miners at 10-80M. Why give away 95%+ to one or 2 miners? They will just dump. Unless of course those 2 miners are kingpins in a pump group that you want to get involved?

People should turn on staking to accelerate to block 45,000.
