Hmm, btw I'm still holding the premine escrowed from the first chain... :-)

That probably got forfeited since it was not transferred to an account at Bittrex before the swap.

Can someone direct me to block explorer/rich list please?

The block explorer and rich list for the new chain can be found at the end of the rainbow. But you will need a flying unicorn to get there.  Grin
2623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ECASH Coin Swap Revival | THE BEST FUCKING COIN EVER on: March 10, 2015, 11:59:03 PM
You will never stake any PoS coin with the client closed unless you are using GorillaStake.com
Understood. So Raspberry Pi version of this wallet would be very nice to have..  Grin
It would be like a mining machine but consuming only couple watts of power...

If only we had those for my other 3 coins already...hmmmm what could the GorillaStake Shop contain when it re-opens with stronger hardware....?   Kiss

BALLS actually has a nice script all set up for you to compile your own on a Pi. You could easily edit that to use my ECASH git and do the same thing if you have a Pi in hand. It takes about 20 minutes to set up the dependencies and another 3 hours to compile the client on a B+ (all automated by the script, you just run it and wait for it to finish), but you might have problems using a B+ for 10k or ECASH because of the insane speeds

You can run MMXIV and BALLS on a B+ and stake both at the same time with no problem at all

Spots to compile the wallets on a PI 2 B can you use Raspbian or must you use Snappy Ubuntu?

Look at it this way. The dev is going to take and use the ICO funds at some point. He is also going to use the premine at some point in the future according to his plans. No-one can do anything about that. No-one can say when the right time is either. So let him take it and stop worrying. If something good comes of it then good. If something bad happens, so be it and then the community is in exactly the same place as 99.999999999% of all other coins, so status quo is the worst that can happen. So why worry? Sit back, let your coins stake, forget about it and let time take its course. People that mined Bitcoin in the beginning probably sold tons at $1 because they worried too much about its value. I am going to stake the coins and check back once in a while if there is any action or if there was any releases of ToshiDesk and see how that works as well as progress with business plans. If price is up, good. If price is down also good, as long as there is good progress with a solid business plan then I am happy.

It is all the micro management that gets people all psyched up and gets the fud going.
2625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ECASH Coin Swap Revival | Now it works properly on: March 09, 2015, 11:04:23 PM

In all fairness:

1) Coins were doomed due to the previous seized block chain - enter Spots, with no pay and no obligation to assist getting the chain moving slowly.
2) It quickly became clear that the block chain was never going to reach 16,000 or 10,000 for that matter. The community was warned over several days and pages to make sure that their coins are in Bittrex and that unmoved coins will be lost and allocated to Spots to make the maths balance.
3) Those that kept their eye on the ball followed the attempts to get the chain rolling and to get to the coins of those that wanted to move them to Bittrex limping on a spare wheel and one cylinder to their destination.
4) Instead of waiting to number 99, most people immediately made efforts to move their coins in the few blocks that were still moving. Had I been a pool operator, I would have exercised due care and moved the pool's coins to Bittrex immediately for in case the chain seizes and the coins are lost, and let it simmer there until the swap happens or perhaps never happens and then move them back to the pool on the new chain. Also, miners on other pools moved coins themselves to Bittrex.
5) With a seized chain, waiting for block 10,000 would have meant waiting forever and it made no difference to smap them immediately or sometime in future since block 10,000 would never be reached anyways.
6) Well done to those that heeded the call to immediately move their coins to Bittrex, knowing that missed coins will be lost.

This can be debated both sides at length but the path chosen was perhaps not optimal, but the lesser of two evils.

would anybody know how long the ten pecent staking lasts, just outa curiosity?

It depends on what you are asking. Can you be more specific?
I will try lol, at the moment its 10% a month? originaly was 10% a year.   Is that forever or does it drop in time. hope that makes sense.

As far as I understand it is 10% per month, "stakely" compounded, until further notice or when you see a fork in the road.

2629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: FonzieCoin Pre ANN on: March 09, 2015, 09:57:59 PM
dev whats going to happen? are you stlll working on it or is it delayed until further notice..?

Yeah, I'll work it out. I don't have a testing infrastructure for stratum. If I didn't make an announcement and clearly invite people to mine, many would scream scam. No alt that doesn't get money up front and invites everyone to join without ninja and instamines or premines is going to work out of the box. If the chain is dead, I'll kill it and start a new genesis.

Be warned, like I warned in the OP: this coin doesn't have much going for it besides a Fonzie theme and the whole fairness thing.

It boggles me that "miners" can read that and still be surprised when there are problems.

If someone wants to volunteer some time and resources to help work out mining bugs, PM me. They will need to be around during launch.

Launch Delayed Until Further Notice.

I ll be glad to help, let me know what i can Do

Well done for going the extra mile to help the dev.

2632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: FonzieCoin Pre ANN on: March 09, 2015, 12:08:30 PM
I agree, everyone deserves a chance, but then just execute that chance appropriately. Apologies if my comments come over harsh and I have deleted my post.

All I am saying is do the testing in testnet and even get a helpful pool involved and some of the community members and then bring a working coin to prod. There is a reason why testnet exists.
2633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BitSis (BSs) the young one on: March 09, 2015, 11:38:59 AM
I'm not here to care of how other coins have or have not done. this coin has been in the works since early 2014, so we have done our homework and 1 thing i/we noticed is the ann/op don't mean squat look at all who invest in coins EVERYDAY because of there fancy graphics and well worded phrases that's trickery we are not into. We're getting our plans to put to the world ready but hey if you don't like then so be it. there may be a lack of planning on my behalf for the OP but all our time and energy is going into everything  we have for business adoption and for that I'm not sorry.

Then you dont know anything about sales either.

you my sir I wish to stay tuned in cause your going to get one hell of a surprise when we launch

If you up your game in the next month. Maybe.

Sha256d crap!  Grin

No, the algo does not matter. It is all the rest that fails.

1) Poor quality OP
2) Newbie with 0 activity
3) ICO price 4 x DRK price. Seriously who is going to pay 0.05 BTC for a coin with no plans?
4) Mediocre plans. The points mentioned in the OP are pretty much the basics of what all coins try to achieve.
5) I smell coingen / coincreator
6) 10 minute block time will provide lots of LoLs when it gets stuck.
7) No escrow
8.) Rather instamine 500 coins at no cost than to pay 25 BTC.

1. I know it's like that on purpose (did btc have a fancy ann no)
2. we was all noobs once
3. people who can grasp the concept
4.they're my plans i don't care what other's do
5. why you used them lol. you will see it is not when the source is released
6. we will see Wink
7. ?
8. if you read the op you'd see - if you feel there is a better

way and more trust worthy option for me to gain the funding needed feel free to suggest

many coins died
even developers with a Full Member or Sr. Member

why should we trust you ?

because I will earn that trust

Many attributes for BTC are acceptable since it was the pioneering coin and used as the reference. Those attributes are not optimal and will not work for another coin. If you are serious about this then you would have done your homework and analyse other coin launches, threads and OPs and see what works, what the community wants, what has been done already and failed and then wowed the community with your OP, plans, roadmaps, dev team, prospectus and coin specs. You wont get anywhere with what you have posted - that you can be sure of 99.9%. Even if you are sincere and really plan to change the world you will fail due to poor planning and not creating a proper business case and prospectus and due to failing to win the trust of the community right from the start.
