1221  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many signals don't work now like they use to be on: January 17, 2023, 08:29:31 PM
Any good signals ?
Right now many signals don't work how they use to be
Yesrterday shiba signal long was given out from the trading signals channels still not moving
Do you even believe in trading signals before? I don't believe in signals because I believe those giving signals are just after their pocket, they will ask you to pay before they add you to their group, and after paying and you have being added to the group, they will just end up giving wrong signal, the signal providers don't really have anything to lose, they are just providing the signal but they won't also follow it.

If you want to stay long in Cryptocurrency and you want to make money, don't depend on anyone for signal, learn to do your analysis yourself.

That is what I am thinking, even before, I don't believe on these trading signal groups.
I tried joining free trading signal groups before just to see what they work.
But unfortunately, what I observed was that they gave a heads-up bit late, so it was not a heads-up anymore.
Hence, leaving the others to buy at the peak of the price, and they can't sell it afterwards because the price has gone down significantly already.
So I don't think something change with signal groups even the paid ones, much better if you will orient yourself with actual trading.
1222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A good way to promote Bitcoin or not? on: January 16, 2023, 08:54:26 PM
What do you think?
A big wine store means a single sale can be a huge amount of money on a good day and also means that there will be a lot customers to your store because people like different categories of drinks. Introducing bitcoins to your customers for payment is a great idea. The benefit to you is that it can reduce the stress with going to banks and help you avoid any third party challenges. The benefit to your customers is that it will introduce another payment option to them. It is a good way to promote bitcoin.

And it is not a new idea. We have seen in this forum alone, some shop owners are really trying to include btc in their payment method.
Even small shop is getting their hands on it. If the OP is already a crypto user, it won't be difficult for him to implement such idea.
He can even educate some of his willing customers on how to get a hold of btc and use it for payment.

To the OP, you can start this anytime and see what interest you will get from your community. There's no harm done in trying.
Also, make sure that when you offer your btc address, your wallet where you generate your address is not prone to possible hacking.
I read recently that one of the BMs here in the forum seemed to be hacked using his electrum wallet as hot wallet.
1223  Economy / Gambling / Re: Freebitco.in - FUN Token Investment Experiment on: January 16, 2023, 05:18:07 PM
yesterday I tried to buy 5000 FUN and it didn't lock it so I didn't get any benefits as a premium member, I thought I don't need to lock it I can get the benefits but I didn't, I think I need to think again to lock it later, I need to add my cold money again On the other hand, being a premium member seems like fun
You don't need to lock FUN to receive premium benefits. It's just that premium program doesn't start working immediately. You will start receiving rewards after 24 hours you deposited or acquired FUN in your account.

Locking FUN only relates to the staking program, which is another thing.

Investing in tokens like FUN seems worthwhile if you do believe that the platform will survive.
And with freebitco, one of the oldest crypto sites that most of us have encountered, the trust of buying the token is indeed there.
Though I bought FUN at a relatively higher price, but I just treat it as a long-term investment so I don't regret of buying it.
Maybe, this is why some people are still investing on FUN even if most casino tokens are not doing good in the market.
If you are a heavy user of freebitco, the benefits accompanied by holding 2500 or more FUN tokens are I think the added value for holding them.
1224  Economy / Economics / Re: Always Buy Up - a discussion about having Strategy in your Life. on: January 16, 2023, 03:25:11 PM
This topic is more about self-help rather than economics. Maybe it belongs to another forum.
Anyway, I guess that by "strategy" you mean discipline and consistency. Having a strategy means having a plan, and plans don't always work.
Mike Tyson once said: "When you go on the boxing ring, you can have the best plan/strategy in your head, but the plan/strategy goes away when the opponent hits you in the head." Grin
Having a plan is one thing, sticking to your plan is another thing and adapting your plan, when it doesn't work is a third thing.
I like your idea of always buying up, but many people simply hate consistency and they can't follow one plan for a long time.

Because not all people have the capability to stick to their plan because as time goes by, their priority changes.
As you go thru life, your strategy changes also as you learn more lessons in your lifetime.
The post of the OP creates a positive vibe, it shows whatever profession you have in this life, it is up to you how you will use strategy to add value in your life.
It is up to you how you will use it to improve your life and serve your purpose as a human.
But I guess, we should also filter what we need to take in in our life, and just let go of the things that you think will just be a baggage that you don't want to carry on as you progress in this life.

1225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Keep your emotions balanced especially regarding Bitcoin on: January 16, 2023, 11:32:15 AM
I guess there is no problem if you are happy when Bitcoin rises a little bit. It's actually normal to have emotions based on the circumstances and events of daily life. It would be strange to not have any reactions at all. And to throw a party when Bitcoin is doing well doesn't mean the investor is going to get rid of all his coins if BTC drops a little. Of course he will be upset, but it doesn't change his long term goals and expectations regards Bitcoin. I understand OP's concern, and I understand that could be a helpful mindset for people who are too impulsive, but I believe we have to celebrate when good things, like a Bitcoin pump, happen.

Maybe, you can celebrate but not to the point of throwing a party.
A cup of coffee enjoying the morning view or a good dinner with your family is more than enough to acknowledge that you did something right.
But if you happen to lose a lil bit, don't get too hard on yourself. Look on the brighter side, at some point, you can also recover your losses, especially if you don't sell off.
But we can't deny the fact that most of btc holders already experienced so many ups and downs throughout the years, and it was the experience that mold them how to react with an open mind.
1226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: January 15, 2023, 09:43:55 PM
Ryan Garcia once fall when he was fight with Luke Campbell, so it's proving if Garcia doesn't have a tough chin. Tank just need to play like this to beat Ryan Garcia, fast and unpredictable, it will shock Ryan Garcia.

I agree. We all know that both of them are vicious strikers on their own accord and can be explosive and unpredictable at the same time. The only edge that one can have over the other is who can take more power punches without feeling the hit, or at least carry the pain far longer and power through the bout. Tank Davis' chin is built like steel, and he can take direct hits and shrug it off pretty easily. Whereas Ryan Garcia is quick to his feet and can deliver punches, but is not known to take hits like a champ.

More than likely, Garcia knew this weakness, he should know what strategy he needs to play when their match happens.
But it seems that I am inclining more on Davis here to win the fight as he had a good tune-up fight before Garcia.
I won't be surprised if the odds will favor Davis on this match. Their odds may be near with each other.
1227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Scam Alert - Address Poisoining on: January 15, 2023, 09:18:50 PM
If only these scammers could apply their creativity to something productive. Thanks for the heads up bro.
What about scamming, isn't that productive? Because, productive means the person is moving and doing things which benefits them. Scammers benefits from scamming and this is where they earn money. Maybe what you mean is they better apply their talent on something which aren't illegal and they can't cause a harm to others. It is possible. I've seen a lot of hackers who change for the better but it's not going to an easy process. The feeling can be the same if you are addicted to something else.

Thanks to the OP for alerting us to this new scam technique. As long as we stay to be informative or vigilant, we can possibly avoid them easily.

That is  correct, that is their productive way of wasting their time - scamming people.
We can't expect all people to earn money via legal means because some people will resort to screwing other people.
Since we are dealing mostly in anonymous market, these scammers are free to use all their skills without disclosing their identity.
It is now on how our hands how we can avoid this type of people or how to prevent from being scammed by diligently doing our part before jumping any click-bait offers.
1228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Miss Universe 2023 betting. on: January 15, 2023, 08:35:24 PM

Wait a minute, does this really exist? i really don't know for this. and how do we know which contestants are the potential, the best, and the most qualified. how do we do the betting, are there any odds provided by the dealer. I don't think everything can be used as a bet, unless you are a friend of yours betting on Miss Universe 2023.

To be honest, I don't really know much about this kind of betting. whether this kind of betting, will work in the gambling market. I'm sure not, but it's possible that there are people who are interested in betting on Miss universe 2023.
So, I can't really say much about this, let alone predict it. by the way, what category does this kind of gambling fall into. throughout my experience betting on sportsbooks, I just found out that there is a Miss universe 2023 bet.

It should fall under the Entertainment category, however, this event was already over.
And I don't think there was a crypto sportsbook which listed this event.
Anyway, this kind of event is not attracting much attention from the gamblers because for one, it is hard to predict as you don't know the judges' criteria.
Also, as you are choosing from more than 80 candidates, what is the likelihood that you will win on this bet?
Maybe, this is the reason why bookies are not really into this event as they can't make money out of this.
1229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be vulnerable to Quantum Computers in about 2 years on: January 15, 2023, 07:48:14 PM
Everything that has level 1 access security will be vulnerable to quantum computers in the future. Social networking sites, and anything that requires 1 step verification like for instance, cryptocurrency wallets will be at risk of breach and compromise. But think of it this way, surely, when the future comes around and quantum computers become publicly available, there will be measures taken by the IT sector of our future to alleviate and maybe even prevent such attacks. They may even do so before commercially opening the use of quantum computers in the future because let's face it, everyone knows this is going to be a problem. themselves included. So there's no way they wouldn't figure stuff out before implementing such powerful tool.

That is true, before it is getting deployed for public consumption, they already know what to do in terms of security protocols.
It is not that they will just let it out in public without thinking of anything about its impact to security aspect.
There are so many computer or tech geeks, who would willingly work on this potential drawback using quantum computers.
They are not just sleeping on this possible issue. And before we know it, they already come up with tangible solutions.
1230  Economy / Gambling / Re: Recommendations for Real Cryptocurrency Casinos on: January 15, 2023, 07:21:19 PM
I think this is why OP created this thread... he does not want to do the research by himself and he wants other players to provide him with casinos that they have already tested. You can browse the web and find many casinos, but how many of those casinos are just a front for an elaborate scam?

Well, it's not like I don't want to do my own research, but as I mentioned earlier, in many cases it's very difficult to get such information first hand. For instance, many casinos claim to accept bitcoin for deposits and withdrawals, but their terms do not clarify if they also convert it to fiat currency on their platform.

at stake when the person makes a deposit in cryptocurrencies, even when playing with cryptocurrencies the person can see that every time the price of that same cryptocurrency drops or rises the balance of your account at stake.com also fluctuates depending on that price movement, with that you can see that they don't convert to fiat, at least that's what I've noticed, because it's happened to me many times that I won a bet but because the price of bitcoin or litecoin dropped a lot so my winnings were reduced or my balance was reduced Of course, it has an advantage when the price of bitcoin or litecoin goes up a lot. in any case, I think that having many accounts in casinos is also a big risk of having to kyc in many casinos

What the OP can do is if he doesn't want to create account in all these casinos,
he can start reading the thread of each reputable and known casinos in this forum.
There are so many discussions that he can already get an idea how the casino is operating like if your deposit will be converted to USD or not.
He can also directly ask on the thread if he is not into reading all the posts, and for sure, someone will answer his query.
This is the advantage in this forum. You can have direct contact also with their respective reps if you can't get a hold of them via site chat support.
1231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm planning on hosting a BTC seminar and a friend also followed my path on: January 15, 2023, 06:14:22 PM
Sorry with little doubt because many seminar promoting about Bitcoin they tried adopted with other thing like hype investment project and take advantage by using Bitcoin name. But if trues about your decision give hosting and seminar about Bitcoin I appreciated with your ideas during when people coming to your seminar not selling ticket.

You can be rule model for the other how advertising Bitcoin and actually need to talk true or fact about Bitcoin investment, there are have risk and all people should know more before active investing in Bitcoin. Don't publishing with positive side only from Bitcoin but also you need giving detail weakness from Bitcoin as investment assets.

Just make sure they are not misleading people by exaggerating what bitcoin can do.
Because the audience may have high expectations afterwards, and will be disappointed if those expectations are not met.
Basic facts are more than enough as a start. Because most newbies have some dumb questions even if they can easily get answers over the net.
Maybe try actual installing a wallet like electrum and send some satoshis to them, either they can pay the organizer for few dollars or free, depending on the capability of the organizer.
Don't invite high profile personalities as they may ask compensation about their commitment, just look around the town who are bitcoin enthusiasts.
1232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Times when I visit casinos Versus When I don't on: January 14, 2023, 09:56:49 PM
When I'm at the right mood and we've I've got spare time and money.
~snip~
^These 3 options are the same as mine.
When I am in the right mood and have free time and of course spare money to spend. Because sometimes even if you are happy you did not want to gamble or vice versa with the unhappy, it always matters how much has been left fund is available in your pocket. The thing that always remembers is never to gamble money that you cannot afford. However, sometimes promotions and bonuses will push us to gamble even though we lack funds, I tried this before and I regret it when I gambled because it has a negative result, chasing money is not good in gambling, but it is proven and tested.
OP was definitely right, those 3 reasons are the best common reason why we visit gambling at most of the time.

I believe most occasional gamblers have that kind of consideration when it comes to gambling.
Because if you are already a degen gambler, you won't think if you have extra or not.
You just play as long as you want it, not considering if you still have enough funds to play with.
So for most who are not an addicted gambler, we only play if we think we are in the right mood, and if we have extra money.
1233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How wrongful can this go? on: January 14, 2023, 09:33:55 PM
Obviously if something goes wrong you will lose access to the account and probably casino support will block the account. Better to find alternative platforms or just fill the required form with correct information. What if you win big amount and they ask for kyc? You have to think twice before doing so.

That is the dilemma of players who don't want to submit KYC.
If you win a handsome amount, and the casino wanted to verify your identity, what will you do?
Are you going to let go of your winnings or submit your KYC docs?
This is up to the player's prerogative. The casino won't force you to submit your docs but you will forfeit your winnings.
So if you think you will play big, better enter actual details upon registration. It is your money so the casino will just collect it if you can't abide their terms.
1234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Miss Universe 2023 betting. on: January 14, 2023, 09:11:31 PM

I doubt if casinos will offer betting on events like this because its hard to analyze who will likely win in the pageant after the pre-pageant judging even the favorite is not sure that he is going to win we will only know after the pageant time because beauty is in the eyes of the beholders it's hard to predict who will win, there are so many contestants and every one of them has a chance comes coronation night it just really depends on the judges, not on the performance of every contestant.

Even if some crypto bookies here are offering betting lines under entertainment area,
they won't include this event in their list because I don't think it can attract a lot of bettors.
For one, it is indeed hard to predict who will be included in the top 10 already.
Maybe, if the bookie will open their odds, it is after knowing the top 10 candidates.
However, I don't think there will be bettors, it is mostly spectators who just want to watch the event.
Just sit back and relax and just watch the event. If you do want to bet, it may be fiat-based bookies that will offer such event.
1235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you calculate house edge...? on: January 13, 2023, 09:58:14 PM
...if it isn't stated by casino beforehand, and sometimes it's stated only for dice and not for other games (examples being card games, roulette, slots), in such cases how is it to be calculated?
There are some site that offers a free simulator to check the house edge, and also asking the support can make things a lot more simple since the site should disclose it for them to be trusted by the gamblers. I’m not sure though if all the gamblers really concern about the house edge especially if they are already playing with the top site, because honestly I’m not making any effort to know this with the top sites.

That is true, usually the gambler doesn't check the HE if he is already playing on a reputable site.
Not many gamblers are worried about HE. But sometimes it is still good to know the HE being offered by the site.
Also, you can compare the HE from those top sites and decide which one of them is worth playing with.
Most of the time, you can get the info by checking the details of the game. If not, ask the support of the site.
It should readily be available anytime a customer should ask such info. If not, doubt the casino's operations.
1236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: According To me Ethereum Looks Weak on: January 13, 2023, 09:39:46 PM
Ethereum is now looking so bullish. Some weeks ago there was chance to down Ethereum to 800$ and I was waiting for it but market turned into bullish and now it's price above 1300$ which is plus point fir this who already took entry. Ethereum Usecase is high and after every dump big whales will accumulate it in big quantity.
this is right, ethereum is among some coins that's gonna get bagholded by the whales even if it lost its value, there are simply too many quality token running in this platform that I doubt it could someday failing, of course there always possibility for that but I think ethereum will be far from that, if there's bullrun, ethereum will show its tremendous potential like btc, so I think it's still good investment even with all these TA that shows ethereum weak.

Ethereum network is one of the remaining quality and solid networks out there.
So as we have seen, even at its bearish position, many investors were trying to accumulate this project.
And as we have seen right now, as btc goes up, ETH also goes up.
So I don't think the target of 500-700 USD by the OP will still happen for ETH.
It seems that we will be surpassing the 20k mark for btc, and so with ETH, it will go up more than $1500 very soon.
1237  Economy / Gambling / Re: Vavada.com | ⭐ crypto casino with quick withdrawals ⭐ | personal bonuses 🎁💰 on: January 12, 2023, 08:54:30 PM
I become interested when I check your website especially the tournament section. Does the requirements to join specific tournament is based on the VIP level on the casino? Also is this tournaments is exclusively for Vavada user or this is from game provider tournament.

I’m very interested to join but I’m just concern on the number of participants joining on this tournament since leaderboard is not visible on each category when I browse it.
Maybe it was the graphics or the site's UI that got your attention to check them out because they look crisp no doubt but the games are mostly slots. I only wish that they add other types of games because not all gamblers are a fan of slots. I check their tournament section and there are games there which you can enter even if you are not a VIP. The one where it says beginner and up can enter.

It was first on the list actually. This tournament also has the highest prize at the moment because it's a special new year tournament. The number of participants for this one is max out at 100 but there is no way to see the number of participants on other tournaments/games.
Maybe they have introduced another categories of games since your post, because I see they have table games available, such as mines, blackjack, keno, roulette, plinko. Actually there is a decent variety of games to be played there, what is pretty good for Vavada, since they aren't restricted to slots' fans only. A virtual casino nowadays has to offer the biggest diversity of games as possible, due to the competition being really fierce on this industry with so many casinos competing for the same customers.

Yes, they do have other games - live and table games, not only slots games.
Anyway, their tournament for the beginner level is not bad as it has prize fund of $50k.
Their prizes for each tournament seems good amount of money, it means they are attracting players on their site.
However, I don't know how strict they are when it comes to KYC as per their terms and conditions.
1238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it becoming a thread for casinos refusing paying very huge winnings? on: January 12, 2023, 08:14:55 PM
Before calling them a scam, it would be better to know the real story first. In the link that the OP shared, it was actually the woman's fault on why it end up like that. She already been told that the machine is malfunctioning and yet she still continued to play. Other than that, I think there is also a warning/sign around the machine, saying that it is malfunctioning.

I am not sure if the girl didn't notice that or she just insist to play for fun. What happened about her winning millions, isn't unexpected but she thinks she is lucky and she is going to claim it but offered by a dinner instead. The owner is still kind and she must be thankful about it.
That's a different story that I've read in the thread of the previous post, there is no source saying that the machine was broken before the woman used it, if the machine is broken then the gambling machine must not be used or at least put up writing information that the gambling machine is broken, but the machine was broken it was said after someone won a jackpot of $43 million. So how would you respond if you were in that woman's position, would you accept the offer of a free steak dinner for the jackpot prize?

Don't read also from the story that there was a warning sign of malfunction. It was only a day after that they informed the woman that it was.
Because if there was a warning sign before hand, they can easily tell right away to the woman that the machine was faulty.
But it took them a day before they informed her about the status of machine, hence, just giving few bucks for her winnings.
We don't know the truth about the validation of the authority, if they got paid for the confirmation that the machine was faulty.
If the woman believes that she has very good battle and she has money for lawsuit, she can pursue suing the casino.
But if not, just accept what the casino offered. Just be cautious next time when playing inside the casino.
1239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the next crypto craze? on: January 11, 2023, 09:55:52 PM
with the presence of AI that seems about to bring revolution towards how the entire worlds works, I think the cryptocurrency space should take advantage of that fact, I think AI will be trendsetter of the new cryptocurrency bullruns if there's many project invested in developing the AI technology but it seems right now there's lacking of such AI projects therefore I guess it will just stick with smart contract like usually.
What you say makes sense. There is a clear new hype being drawn involving AIs of the most diversified niches of the society. Of course not only legit AI developers are going to take advantage of this hype, but also the scammy ones who must launch the usual fake projects promising top notch AIs for different purposes, aiming to solve and facilitate every our daily tasks and needs.

Yesterday I saw there was a warning here in bitcointalk telling people to be careful with AI altcoins investments, because a scam project claimed to be selling tokens in the name of "OpenAI" company and after all it had nothing to do with the legit AI brand.

Learn from my mistake, these people aren't playing

AI will indeed be the next one to be exploited by developers as well as fraudsters.
So yes, definitely we should be very cautious in getting involve with new AI projects.
If you are serious about investing on this project, why not dedicate some of your time to understand and dig more about the project?
No one can do it for you but yourself only. Though some may expose the irregularities or publish some warnings, however,
the work is still on you. It is your money, so it is only right to know where you are putting your money into.
1240  Economy / Gambling / Re: New casino BTC game development on: January 11, 2023, 09:34:02 PM
I played several games both in demo mode and for a certain amount of LTC received from faucet lucky spin, I liked it, there are no delays on the server side, plinko just seemed that the balls fall somehow not naturally, well, maybe it's a personal perception.
Yes, i have tested out their plinko but turns out to be that good where i did make out that free LTC faucet increase to 0.2 on just using up that Low 8 settings.
The platform and site design interface and UI isnt really that bad looking but rather something above average compared into those new sites launched
which do really look up like generic. This one is different, if they would be focusing on their marketing then they might have the chance on getting some good
market share or percentage if they would really be having that recognition.

I believe the OP is selling the script with a minimum bid of 0.01 BTC.
So maybe, he is developing this project and if he finds the right buyer, he will let go of this project.
Setting-up a casino is not very difficult, however, it is the operations that is a tedious one.
If you have no bankroll to manage a casino, don't think about buying the script. As you will just be wasting your resources as you can't maintain its operations.
