1281  Economy / Gambling / Re: Coinballer - An open-source multi-player Bitcoin gambling game. on: December 31, 2022, 09:47:03 PM
Please anybody let me know if there's anything else I can do to increase my reputation.
Unfortunately, you cant fasten this process, but being actively posting here your updates, doing trades to anyone, as well as following some recommendations to your site, fixing/solving issues, etc. can help. Well, also running a signature campaign which i saw that you already did will also build reputation of someone else business/service here.
This will take a lot of time and if OP is serious about the services he’s offering right now here in the forum, then probably many will slowly trust this platform. It will always hard to attract 100 players in just one game where they will gamble to win the spot, probably many are still hesitant to try this platform. 2% fee for the host seems reasonable for me, will try to know more about this project first before trying it.

Or some will make their multiple accounts to participate the game.
How can the OP make sure that there will be no cheating on this game?
Also, with what is happening these days, how can you trust the word of an anonymous person?
Assuring no rug pull will happen if he will be holding a significant amount of money.
Indeed, it would take time for a new site to build their credibility in this community.
If the person is serious on this business, he will slowly improve his site for the betterment of his game.
But with the content of his site right now, I don't think many people will trust a handsome amount of money on his site.
1282  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts on revenge trading? on: December 31, 2022, 09:30:48 PM
when a person starts trading and he loses several times, that emotional feeling will appear and after that the trait of wanting to chase losses or chase losses will appear and after that he will get big losses.
incidents like that are actually very natural when a trader cannot control or control his emotions. even though the main key to trading in crypto is patience and being able to control your emotions. if all else failed, a loss was likely awaiting him.
there is no good advice except self-control to avoid emotions when trading and stay away from chasing losses, which is not very good.

People should take it slow and learn what happened about his losses.
Know what made him lost the last time he did trading.
Because if he will rush and as the OP said take revenge for what he lost,
he will more likely lose again as he would not be thinking logically.
This is why a lot of traders are losing because they are overpowered by their emotions and not the rationale.
1283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is left of Bitcoin as a tool to free the financial world on: December 31, 2022, 08:05:48 PM
The reason for which Satoshi innovated bitcoin have got fulfilled, but the same to be the mainstream won't happen all of the sudden. Just think the evolution of the financial system. From barter system the technology have taken it to the cryptocurrency usage. However the fiat usage stands high against each and every form of payment being used around.

To take the position of fiat is not an easy thing. The acceptance of bitcoin is getting increased compared to the past. This shows the financial world requires more time for its complete transition.

For me, we are slowly realizing its main purpose. The adoption may not be massive but I guess such purpose is increasing day by day.
Just think of newcomers into this industry or the countries that are making btc legal tender or legal in their financial system.
You have seen that there are countries that are willing to accept btc in their payment system, it means, they are recognizing its payment potential.
And yes, it is not sudden as it would take time for people to grasp how a btc is transacted. But once they got it, I believe they will realize its benefits as payment method.
For now, you can't really say btc can free the financial world because we are not yet in that level. Be grateful that more and more people are learning how to make their crypto transaction.
1284  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is this exchange legit? on: December 31, 2022, 03:26:39 PM
Is circleex.io legit?
Where did you find this site? Or what is special about that site and made you search for it?
In general, unless there is sufficient trading volume here, whatever offers you make, it is better to ignore those sites, which will lead to the loss of all your capital sooner or later.
It's probably through ads on various sites OP visited or someone did PM him through messaging apps. They were all the same putting an ads or sending you a message through email or in the messaging apps that's offering a too good to be true offer. Perhaps a (fake)friend on the internet befriending OP but in reality they are part/member of the site or maybe owner of it.

It's good OP ask it here first before proceeding to deposit some money on it to trade. A thorough research about the site will help you to identify it if it's reputable enough to be trusted.

We do have a reputable exchanges out there that you can trust, don't just trust a new exchanges out of curiosity it's might be a scam if they done have reputation.

Or maybe the OP is part of the exchange as it is his first post.
Sometimes they are hiding their motive of promoting their own platform by asking the community.
But in any case, I would also suggest to avoid at all cost as the likelihood of not getting out your funds is high.
Most of the time, they will offer tempting rewards, but people should remind themselves that scammers can always deceive their users.
Better trust the known trading platforms with good liquidity and assurance that you can withdraw your funds without any issue.
1285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Wallet Hacking through Telegram on: December 30, 2022, 09:59:45 PM
Unfortunately, these things are very common, but for the first time I hear that they are also on Telegram. It is necessary to disable the automatic download feature, whether in Telegram or others, this is very dangerous.
But I did not know what kind of wallets were targeted by the virus exactly, there are many versions of Telegram on Mac, Windows, Android and iPhone, I am using the version of Telegram for Windows desktop and I have an Electrum wallet installed on the Windows system, so I do not know if this virus can target this wallet?
Dont know if it could ran off automatically even if the app wasnt been launched.
This is why im not really that installing but i have searched out that you could
do disable that automedia download which i could say that it is really that safety to turn it off.

Turn Off Automatic Download of Specific Media on Telegram

Dont know if this one is relevant but not really that something bad to test it out.

I am a user of telegram but not really an active one.
But such warning is really good to avoid possible problem in the future.
I believe a lot of telegram users as well as crypto users are not aware of this feature.
A simple turning off the Auto-Download Media may save your funds from those fraudulent activities.
Scammers will always try and try to get into the vulnerabilities of your computer, so no wonder they are resorting to this route.
1286  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin survived the Christmas market pressure on: December 30, 2022, 09:45:04 PM
This year Bitcoin price is stabilized at around 16,000 + which is a good resistant level and a benchmark that represents previous years' bullish all-time high price.
Is this an indication of the bullish market in the year 2023 where Bitcoin will break 20,000 in the early weeks of the year?
NO, Bitcoin price is never stable around $16k all year round. The price is stuck around $16k-$17k just in the last few months of this year. It seems to have no change until this year is over, Bitcoin price will stay around $16k at the end of the last day of 2022. Well, I'm not surprised about this, 2022 is the first year of the bearish season, so we can't hope for a significant change at the end of this year.

I don't think BTC price will pass $20k in the early weeks of 2023. It requires time, if there is a lot of good news, $20k may be achieved in the second month or third month of 2023.

Just be grateful that we haven't gone down much below 15k, where a lot were speculating that btc will touch below 15k.
If we will sustain this level and if good news will come in the next few days, we may start seeing it to increase.
Otherwise, that's fine. Seems that we have had already received all the negative news this year.
The Luna crash, Voyager bankruptcy, FTX drama and other defi projects that were "hacked" were just few of the big news this year that made impact in this market.
We are hoping more positive news will come this new year. $20k level may not be immediate but we may see it again in the future.
1287  Economy / Gambling / Re: Vavada.com | ⭐ crypto casino with quick withdrawals ⭐ | personal bonuses 🎁💰 on: December 30, 2022, 09:26:38 PM
I become interested when I check your website especially the tournament section. Does the requirements to join specific tournament is based on the VIP level on the casino? Also is this tournaments is exclusively for Vavada user or this is from game provider tournament.

I’m very interested to join but I’m just concern on the number of participants joining on this tournament since leaderboard is not visible on each category when I browse it.
Maybe it was the graphics or the site's UI that got your attention to check them out because they look crisp no doubt but the games are mostly slots. I only wish that they add other types of games because not all gamblers are a fan of slots. I check their tournament section and there are games there which you can enter even if you are not a VIP. The one where it says beginner and up can enter.

It was first on the list actually. This tournament also has the highest prize at the moment because it's a special new year tournament. The number of participants for this one is max out at 100 but there is no way to see the number of participants on other tournaments/games.

Just check the required status on each tournament, and there is a tournament where a beginner can join in.
Right now, their New Year's X-tournament seems to be attractive to play with because you can still get a prize of $150 if you are at 101th -300th place.
And from the posted standings, there are so far 95 players if I am not mistaken. So the chance of getting  your prize seems to be high at the moment.

But one thing that I noticed during registration, you need to select your currency and there is no option for BTC or LTC, only fiat are on the list.
People should also take a look at their terms regarding their KYC protocol. So they won't be having problems when it comes to withdrawal.
1288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling For Fun - What Does This Mean To You? on: December 30, 2022, 08:41:33 PM
Here Is What Gambling For Fun Mean To Me
To me, gambling for fun simply means - gambling, with hopes of making profit, but with the consciousness that if the profit does not come, I choose not to react negatively to the loss, or allow the loss way me down or make me feel bad, I just focus/put/fix my mind on the fun I had playing the game rather than focus or fix my mind on the money I lost.

I'll certainly pay attention to the money I've lost because it tells me when I should leave. That being said, I won't ever gamble with the effort of making money. If I have fun and end the night with a positive return, then it's just an added bonus.

Gambling addiction occurs when people begin using the casinos as a method of making money -- it's a losing game of course, and then chasing the losses compounds the issue. I wouldn't recommend to anyone to ignore the amount they've lost because it's easy to get carried away. At the same time, obsessing over losses is unhealthy.

For me, what the OP stated is what I look at gambling also when you say you are gambling for fun.
Of course, when you play, somehow deep inside, you want to win also.
Who would want to lose all his games, right? But when you lose, that's fine, no hard feelings.
But you keep reminding yourself that this is gambling, so whatever you throw on your games, may not ever come back.
So what you can do, is just enjoy the game with the hope of winning but not totally expecting it.
1289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High Profit Projects Are Prone To Scam on: December 28, 2022, 09:59:43 PM
Why in this industry would a project promised investors such ROI and they boldly and proudly sink their funds in that project, this is why i don't pay attention to altcoin because there is a very high tendency of scamming their investors with the intention of offering a high ROI. Most times i also noticed with such project is that, when the pressure is much they would like locked the telegram group after much questions from the community.
When next try to use the search button as this topic could be handled over time here.
For every user like you which immediately ignores any project that promises a high ROI there are 5 or even 10 other investors that instead give such project a lot of attention, scammers know very well that a great deal of the investors that are in this market do not care at all about the project in which they invest, they care about the profits and nothing more, so they know it is easy for them to claim they can give huge profits and that many investors will ignore everything just for that claim.

Some are still taking the bait of high profits, without considering the significance of the project itself.
However, they will soon realize that it is just a front of many projects because you need to be realistic with things.
How can you get high profits? Where will the dev team get their funds to supply or sustain their investors?
This is why most are becoming a pump and dump projects, and so they will eventually be abandoned by their owners.
Or else, the project will turn to be a ponzi scheme, capitalizing from new users who will buy the project.
1290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT ?? What do you think about it ? ? ? on: December 28, 2022, 09:41:08 PM
~
I mean with those digital images, any freelancing graphic designer could have done most of the "image" NFTs. For paintings, I would prefer getting the physical art itself rather than just the digital ones that could be sold in OpenSea. I read before that those bought "physical" paintings in NFTs that were digitalized are burned in regards of the purchase of the buyer (not sure if this was exactly what it said since I read it long time ago), but that does not make it any better than just buying it personally.

I even hear those NFTs being used in games as well.

Not all NFTs are worth buying, but I can agree that there are some valuable NFT creations.
If we browse in OpenSea, there are a lot of artworks that are expensive, and you will wonder why.
For buyers, I suggest, think of its possible future value. Don't just buy because it seems expensive today.
I believe, most of those artworks will be worthless in the future as no one wants to buy it anymore.
As you said, you would prefer a physical art as compared to digital art. Most people still see that it is worth buying a physical art.
1291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chasing the big multipliers in soccer on: December 28, 2022, 08:56:53 PM
So, what do you think, will I lose the 6 bets?

The fact that those picked odds of yours are somehow high to consider, expect that the chances of hitting those are not that decent.

But who knows that your luck will come to you and your bet will be nailed. Don't expect though as that was really tough to expect.

No one knows what will happen so good luck.

If he lost, not so bad with his pocket as he is not betting big.
But if he won, that's a good sum amount of money. So he will be lucky in case he got those right.
One win from those bets, will already give him his initial funds. But if it parlay, I am guessing he will lose it.
Well, we know if the odds are high, usually, the bookies are right. But who knows they may be wrong also.
Usually, I don't chase big multipliers because most of the time, you will lose on this bet.
1292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the bear market over? on: December 27, 2022, 09:58:24 PM
These posts come up every cycle.  The quick answer is no one knows otherwise everyone would win.  Half the people will say no the other half will say yes and whoever is right will say "see I told you" and think they can predict future crypto markets.  Funny but it happens every year.
What is the point of focusing on this issue? The important thing is that the bear market will end at some point, but does it really matter when it happens? While there is an opportunity, you need to buy at good prices, later there may not be such an offer, now is the time when almost everything has very good prices, for sure everyone has projects that he follows and believes in. And now is the right time to start buying, no matter when the bear market ends.
Many people question whether this is the bottom for a bear market with the intention that when they get the answer they like they will buy. But no one knows for sure when a bear market will end, so when you keep asking questions like this no one can answer for sure. It's better now if we have enough money to buy then try to make purchases in installments if we are still sure we will get a lower price. Don't worry when we will be in this bear market longer, because I believe the price will recover no matter what time it happens.

The dilemma is no one can answer such question, and we all know it.
You just attack the market the way you think is advantage for yourself.
If you do believe in btc market, this price level at 16-17k is still a bargain price if you would think about it.
Once we see it rising again, more than likely, people would regret of not collecting as much satoshi as they can when it was still in the bearish period.
1293  Other / Off-topic / Re: 400M Twitter users’ data is reportedly on sale in the black market on: December 26, 2022, 08:09:13 PM
Elon Musk reduce Twitter workers to almost half of the works before he takeover, I hope this is not the work of one of the workers that were affected. But, anyone on social media should know there is nothing private about them and that their data can be leaked.

This is harmful to us. Scammers frequently use leaked data to send Phishing links. We need to be cautious and save our money.
I do not see how this is harmful to you because you know how to avoid phishing attack, but harmful to many people on Twitter because they do not know about phishing attack, some will be scammed before they learn.

We can't say for sure if this is an inside job but later on, once the dust settles, we will know the reason why those data got leaked.
I am not a regular twitter user, but I have account. So for twitter users, make sure to check possible phishing emails from your registered accts.
Also, for those who have knowledge about phishing attacks, they should be very careful on this fraudulent move.
I can agree that maybe most Twitter users don't know this, but anyone should look out for themselves especially if you are a social media user.
1294  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: December 26, 2022, 06:46:10 PM
It is always funny to watch people try to lie their way into winning something or at least complaining about something and then thequin comes out with his whip and sets things straight.

I mean it has been done a million times already, dude knows what he is talking about and it is proven that you can't just fool him, he is not going to just sit down and accept whatever you tell him, he is going to investigate and provide proof and if he says something once, you should know that he is not saying it because he is rolling a dice (punt intended), he is saying it because he has proof and you should back down from that fight, nobody that lies could convince thequin to accept their version instead of the truth.

This is why this site has earned their credibility among old and new casinos in this community.
They don't need gambling license to prove that they are legit, but how they operate their business, is more than enough to show they can withstand the competition.
Also, they have a very good rep here that can give a satisfactory answer to any complaint or issues.
Freebitco is the first crypto site that I've known when I entered crypto, not this forum. And they are still standing strong.
It means only one thing, they do know what they are doing, and they are very good at it.
1295  Economy / Economics / Re: The poor people with their reasoning on: December 26, 2022, 06:15:52 PM
No matter how hard you try, poor people can be difficult to persuade to accept and invest in bitcoin, according to my crypto knowledge and people's enlightenment. They vehemently criticize whatever you show them or introduce them to. They are the ones who constantly inquire about how you manage your funds in order to live during this economic downturn.
Well bitcoin is for everyone, both rich and poor alike but, its the more easier for a rich or some middle status individual to invest in cryptocurrency than a poor guy. The reason is because, most of the poor guys around practice the system of feeding on what the day provides. Let's not forget, one rule to investing is often about what you can afford to lose and for a poor guy, that's non existence. Every penny is vital and if it isn't making immediate returns, its hard for them to risk it. There survival seems to depend on it but somehow, a few would try and get there chance at a better life.
I don't get to blame them much over most of there decisions, they are just trying to guide against what could be in evitable in there venturing into the unknown.

It's always important to have some knowledge in what your investing in. Them having to think that way isn't wrong. I won't advise it for anyone to just venture into the unknown. You seek knowledge about it, then you can try investing in it.

That is very true. A poor guy who has just enough income to feed himself, won't dare to invest on a risky one.
So it is understandable that they won't dare to put some funds on this market.
They will buy their food on the table first before anything else. But for some who have extra, they can very well look into other assets.
Maybe, if you will give them extra funds just to show what this market is, they may try checking this out.
Otherwise, they won't. Unless, they got their interest here and learn some tips on how to earn. But survival is always their priority.
1296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino bonus is it worth it? on: December 26, 2022, 05:36:49 PM
~ Although it is clear that any cashback is pleasant, plus the player usually plays not for the sake of cashback, but for the sake of winnings/adrenaline. And I know (although I have received much smaller cashbacks) that it is always nice to receive this money, as it can be said to be a bonus/surprise.

That's right, any cashback, even if it's only $1, is pleasant, because if you play not for obtaining a bonus, but just for your pleasure, and you are suddenly given some money out of nowhere, you can't be anything but happy about that. But if you want not just a few dollars per month but thousands, you have to wager millions for that. And even though you could be in profit after wagering millions,  I personally wouldn't recommend such behaviour.

Cashback is only a very small percentage of your wagered money. So yes, should not really expect this at the end of your game.
Don't chase the amount of cashback that you will get, because you will end up spending a lot of money.
If you are not in the position to spend such significant amount of money, just play on what you can afford and be grateful if you will get something as cashback.
You are not playing in the casino just to get a cashback, right? Bonuses, cashback or rewards are just like additional perks where you don't need to make extra effort of spending much just to avail those perks.
So thinking that a certain bonus is worth it or not, for me is not a consideration whether you will play on a casino or not.
1297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is to blame on: December 26, 2022, 04:55:55 PM
If the casino doesn't have any license and has a mandatory KYC rule, the casino should be blamed.

If the casino have a gambling license and has a mandatory KYC rule, no one should be blamed.

So it depends on the casino itself, but if they're licensed, they don't have any way to avoid KYC rule. The best is to gamble on trusted and popular casino without license and doesn't have any KYC rule e.g. Freebitco.in.

And I believe, the OP is getting the opposite here. I think, the regulation of online casinos is the reason why casinos require KYC from its customers.
Not the other way around. When these casinos start to include their gambling license, it is part of the deal having such license.
However, some are still not strict on implementing KYC if you are not a high roller or doesn't pose any red flag on your account.
There is no one to blame this requirement. The online gambling is evolving and now most casinos are applying for license.
Freebitco has earned their credibility thru time, maybe this is the reason why they are contented of not acquiring a license.
1298  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🎁XMAS PARTY for $1 200 000| Win Mercedes-Benz G-Class & Crypto😎 on: December 25, 2022, 09:56:09 PM
I have staked around 4000 BFG tokens in total and have already quite a few times withdrawed money (always small amounts) and has never been asked to submit KYC. Probably if the amounts would be much higher, I might be asked to do it.
4000 BFG is not a big value in USD at the current price it is around $ 50, and if you say you have withdrawn several times even with a small amount I suspect that your investment in BFG has provided profit or BEP, if yes this makes me interested to also start doing BFG staking especially if betfury absolutely will never ask for KYC.
For BFG staking they provide multiple coin rewards which is a very good feature.  So investing in BFG is a very good plan for gamblers.  Although the price of this token is decreasing day by day to maintain the market consistency.  But its staking ward is recovering a lot of that loss. Since the price of BFG token is very low now, there is a good chance of getting a good amount of reward by investing only $100 in token staking.

The staking APY is just minimal compared to the price value decrease per day especially that the reward is on different token which price is falling too. The passive income from staking is somehow helpful to recover some losses but it's not good compared when just didn't hold any BFG tokens at during this bear market. The price will keeps falling because new BFG tokens is continuously added on the circulating supply since the total supply is not yet max out.

Some people might view staking as positive way to recover loss but the consistent price down trend is a serious problem that needs to be considered on making investment.

That's the dilemma in the staking type of investments. You are only hoping that they will recover their price later on.
But for those who are staking, definitely, it is not advisable to sell while the price is at a loss.
However, you should look also on where they are regarding their developments and all, if they have the chance to get better in the future.
As we can see, betfury has relatively good number of players, and with their promotions, you can see that they are pretty good in terms of revenues.
So their token's price may be also due to the bearish season of the crypto market in general, just monitor when btc starts to go up if their token's price will also improve.
1299  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hi i been doing binance futures for quite long time here is my idea on: December 25, 2022, 09:38:57 PM
I don't believe in this idea even though you claim to have good experience in futures trading. You should really be able to make your own profit on trading without expecting anything in return from anyone who follows your TA, but you are not really proving that success with 1 post via this newbie account.

I tend to avoid ideas like this and trade myself, and it seems like others should do the same and rely on their own trading strategies.
Some thread are like this as well and created by a newbies, I don’t know their real reason behind this but its looks suspicious though especially if they are claiming to be good and yet there’s no proof of profit being shared here. You can be a goos trader on your own without asking to anyone to follow you and pay you for some fees, real traders are working behind 24/7, and they are more focus on their personal growth.

People should learn their lessons well. Also, do take note that when you are dealing with futures, you can easily get liquidated,
if you don't know what you are getting into. A newbie offering such service is a dubious one.
Better rely on your own instincts in trading, also learn more about futures before getting involved on this type of trading.
I am sure, the reason why newbies offering such service is they are trying to offer a bait to naive users, offering possible earning of profits.
But we all know that usually, it ends bad for the user who will use such service. Just learn on your own when it comes to trading.
1300  Economy / Gambling / Re: Punt.com | Win $100,000! 🔥💰 | Premium Crypto Casino | Instant Withdrawals! ✅ on: December 25, 2022, 09:17:17 PM
PvP dice — finally something new from all new crypto casinos popping up these days.
Not that new in the crypto industry, duelbits own similar game namely dice duel IIRC.
Is it really that fun? I dont think, looking at how the traffic in duelbits for this game, it shows that not many players play pvp dice game.
PvP dice isn't new, but only two or three casinos have it now. You will rarely find this kind of PvP game in the casino. I have played the Dice duels on Duelbits a few many times, but I don't like this kind of game as we need to wait for a long time for the opponents. PvP dice game isn’t much popular. The PvP Duels game of Punt.com isn't going to attract a lot of people.

BTW, the banner of the dice duels game shows that it has 0% Rake. But the rules of the game says it has 2% Rake. Which one is true?
This is the first time I am even seen this PvP game. The game is not popular, that is why many users are not familiar with the game. I believed by the end of next year most of the casinos in the forum will add it to their game features. If duelbit has the game, then the gamblers in duelbit casino site will be in familiar with the game. The game might not be new in the casino companies but it is new in the forum casinos.

What do you mean by new in the forum casinos? Anyway, this type of game is indeed not a new one.
But as we have noticed, most pvp games not only in dice, have hard time sustaining large number of players.
This is why some are saying that it would take time for them to wait for their opponent to show up.
And most gamblers don't want to wait. If a site will introduce their pvp game, maybe, they can introduce a bot when no real player is available.
In that manner, the gambler doesn't have to wait but of course if it is a bot, the provable fairness would be a question here.
