1201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Doxxed team can help a new gambling platform? on: January 23, 2023, 07:09:12 PM
It's the "name" of the company that's KYC'ed imo , not the team behind it. They register under a government and I reckon said government reviews documents that they passed and basically allows the casino to exist after checking whether there's some bad rep or not in the casino. They are scared, trust me, and that's why they do KYC. Otherwise they would've just let them fuck off and not do KYC since they for sure know that their users hate KYC themselves.
Interesting but If it's only the name of the company then that means the members of that company can still run away if they have done something inappropriate but there are really a crypto project who has a doxxed team however this doesn't removed the fact that they can't turned bad anymore. We already have many cases about it. What happened with do kwoon and SBF are a few of it. Not all customers hate KYC and that is why there are still platforms who take the risk and require a KYC.

This is better than if their company won't look legal to the governments. So those who hate KYC and only plays on a non-KYC casino should be wary of that because the platform can be shut down at anytime if ever they are spotted by the governments.

Indeed, a doxxed team doesn't guarantee that they won't do anything to screw up their investors or players.
There are so many projects with known identities of their dev teams, and yet, they still manage to abandon or closed down the project.
I don't think it can help a new gambling platform in gaining their players, because it is thru time how they will earn credibility from the community.
Their reputation that they built throughout the years, will be the main reason why a certain casino/bookie will survive in this business.

1202  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Mini bull run or short Squeeze (manipulation) ? on: January 23, 2023, 04:59:53 PM
I've never seen there is manipulation happen to Bitcoin, the whales are too silent this time - I consider those pumps natural.
I don't really think manipulations can be effective in a decentralized coin like Bitcoin, It probably works for altcoins. Might some whales are trying to do that but I'm very certain that they will just fail.
Whales can't manipulate bitcoin, but they can manipulate its price and turn the market red or green.
You can also manipulate prices if you have big budget, but you also have to be sure that it won't prevent you from losing money.

The pump that occurred during January may or may not be considered natural, but actually $20K is price that seems more appropriate for bitcoin after hitting ATH of $69K in November 2021.

We have to keep in mind that the price of Bitcoin will keep on moving up and down. Currently at $22,700, not that huge enough to think about bullish but at least, people have their chance to sell and earn a few bucks as a reward of waiting.
Selling now is fine as long as it's profitable, but I'd be inclined to wait and would hold it for a higher timeframe and price. This allows you to get more opportunities to enjoy bigger profits.

And what is the reason why they will manipulate the market? I am more on the mini bull run on this market.
Manipulating this market requires a lot of money, even a small movement requires big amount of money.
And I don't think there's advantage of doing so if someone or group of whales decided to make a dent in the market.
It has long been known that manipulation in btc market is quite hard to do. Why not accept the fact that it is high time to experience such bullish period?
I am more on the natural increase of btc after few months of bearish period. People are getting good vibes around this market.
1203  Economy / Gambling / Re: How best to report vulnerabilities? on: January 23, 2023, 03:02:29 PM

If that's their response towards you, then they aren't open for feedback and are slacking off their jobs to maintain the casino abuse-free which is really a cause of concern since these abusive activities are prohibited in the first place. Why would they even say a statement of enjoying the bug, if really there is any instead of acknowledging their shortcomings and giving a reward? Perhaps they are just too complacent and too confident that it won't happen, or they just don't want to acknowledge your report because they have to give a reward, which they don't want to.

Check whether the casino still have this bug and if they do, they probably are just confident and slacking off maintaining the casino away from glitches. If it suddenly don't have it after you reported, then most probably they have taken an action about your concern but decided not to credit you for noticing which I believe is such a jerk move if ever it is the latter reason.

I am thinking that they don't want to acknowledge but they are doing in the background to address the issue.
Yes, the OP can check if the bug is still not fix, either their team is not addressing it or they don't know how to address it.
If you have done your job of informing them and they just shrugged it off, it means, they should not blame anyone if another user found the bug and exploited it.
I believe, not all gambling sites have that kind of reaction towards a user who is reporting a bug, some will entertain your report and may possibly give you a reward or bonus though.
1204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: January 22, 2023, 10:00:21 PM
Yes, there will be some adjustments but the skill and the typical Inoue we know will not change and his attributes will remain, we may even see him upgrade that as well.

I think maybe we can base on others who have move up to different divisions and become successful. As someone pointed out, it's just 4 lbs sound, so it's not that huge jump and even us non boxers who gain 4 lbs in the pandemic might not see the difference after all.

So I would also leaning on the premise that Inoue might be good if not better at 122 lbs because his body is going to be fully rehydrated even before the fight and that is a big factor for boxers not needing to drain themselves in weigh-in.
His trainers would have definitely advise him on what he must do but yeah, during weigh ins there's still some boxers that do have problem on the actual day.
But on his case, he's been a world champion and has gone through a lot of fights and with this small adjustment, he'll for sure will be good when the weighing in day comes.

They are moving up the weight division, so definitely, his camp knows what they are going into.
They won't decide on this matter if they knew Inoue would have hard time catching up on this weight class.
As it is only 4lbs, would not be difficult for him. So my guess is that Inoue can easily achieve and train on this weight.
Right now, the early odds are favoring Inoue with some of the bookmakers giving him at 1.41.
Though it is too early, but I believe bookie will indeed favor on Inoue for this match.
1205  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betrefs.gg | The Best Social Gambling Society ✌️ | Special Bonuses And More !🌟 on: January 22, 2023, 09:47:37 PM
I am wondering if this is a new casino or one that have been in gambling business for long and just finding its way to this forum??
They seem to be a casino review site, though they seem to have priority in CSGO gambling.
Yep, it's a casino review site. But they have published the review of a small number of casinos only. They have made a list of CSGO gambling site and they are giving priority to the bonus code to attract referrals.

It seems your casino is a new one though.
Have you checked the whole website properly before making this post? Betrefs.gg isn't a casino, and they have clearly mentioned that why the are for
Quote
Betrefs is your go-to place to find the most trusted gambling websites. We provide referral codes and reviews of these sites so you can get started for free.

@betrefs, seems like you have forgotten to put the referral link for Stake on your website. You have given the main domain link of Stake. Also, fix the Instagram profile link on your website. You have provided a wrong link for Betrefs.gg Instagram account.

Some people really don't check the site before posting here. Tongue
As they are offering their bonus codes, I hope they also did their due diligence and not put up some shady casinos.
This may be a good list for those CSGO gamers as they are more into this category.
At least we are seeing similar casinos and bookies that are found in this forum.
But some blog articles were written in 2021, are they going to give their updates this 2023?

By the way, their score for Trustdice is 0/5, however, their last statement on their article is -

"There is no doubt that TrustDice will become a driving force in the Bitcoin casino industry."
So maybe, they need to go back and rectify their score.
1206  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Was Binance aware of the impending bankruptcy of FTX? on: January 22, 2023, 09:25:33 PM
Am I the only one who believes Binance knew in advance that FTX was going to collapse?
The short answer is yes, but it is difficult to know exactly when they knew and how much they knew about the financial situation. Were they the financial actions of the company and how bad the financial situation was?

My personal guess is that they knew at some point after the collapse of Luna and after the talks, they may have helped save the institution, and because they knew about the exploitation of the money, they had to wait for the right moment to deliver the final blow that finally happened.

Even if we assume that they have known for a longer period, 2021 was excellent for crypto, liquidity was available, and it was difficult for them to strike this blow at that time.

They took advantage of the situation to their advantage and came out with the most gains.

I believe they knew it but already too late. Maybe a lil bit earlier than most in the crypto community.
Because if they knew the extent of bankruptcy the FTX had, they won't even offer to buy it as  CZ tweeted about it.
But once they realized the massive problem of FTX, they backed out, which I believe was a good decision for Binance.
They will be buying a company full of problems, that it will only reduce their assets greatly. I guess, CZ is thanking himself that they didn't pursue purchasing this company.
1207  Economy / Economics / Re: Can I take a loan to invest in bitcoin? on: January 22, 2023, 08:16:32 PM
Well i will say you did well for the advice you gave her, it is very wrong to take loan to but into any online business I guess
Initially taking loan to get bitcoin or any cryptocurrency it  at your own véry risky because you dont know when it goes high or go low.because I was a victim of it too i took loan to get dollar and i lost it and I was unable to play but with the grace of i made through it but it was very difficult. My advice to her is she should not .

That would definitely a smart piece of advice for those who are thinking that they will get a loan just to buy some crypto assets.
As this is a volatile market, you have no assurance if you will earn profits or return your investments at a period when you need it.
Just be contented on what you have to buy some coins. I know some are tempted to get a loan because of the high profits they are trying to chase.
However, if you will go to this route, you should have some collateral assets, so if anything goes wrong, you will not be buried deep with debts.
1208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Basra Stadium Stampede (football match). on: January 22, 2023, 07:26:00 PM
who's to be blamed in such situation just like this one at Basra stadium, Iraq. Is the fault from the side of the football fans or is due to poor organisation from the side of the organisers?

in this case, the fault lies with the people who did not buy a ticket, people need to understand that in an event it is soccer games, basketball, music that is private and that people need to pay to have access to the event location and because the event organizers spent money investing in this event and they want profits, that's why people must pay to have access to the space where the event will be organized

but unfortunately some people don't understand the great harm they do by trying to enter without paying, they are harming the event organizer and at the same time they are putting people's lives at risk

Can we also recommend possible ways with which such cases can be arrested or adverted in the future.

in the future there should be more security at game venues and a better way to check people who have tickets

That is very correct. If you know you don't have the ticket, why are you joining those ticketless fans pushing yourself inside?
Expect that there will be chaos if those people will act like that, since you are in thousands outside the stadium, stampeded is indeed imminent.
You can avoid this situation happening if you won't go to overcrowded events. If you don't have ticket, then don't go hoping they will let you in.
Would be more peaceful if you will watch it over your TV at home. It may not be a personal experience but you will save yourself from such horrible incident.
1209  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Two Types Of Traders - My Personal Classification on: January 21, 2023, 10:02:48 PM
<snip>
Sadly, it is not always the case. I can tell that most "blind traders" do not learn much from experience alone, and because of that, they continuously lose their trades.                                                                                      I believe it is necessary for a "blind" trader to awaken himself/herself, not only by experience but also with the help of studying by reading and watching pieces of literature and joining discussions related to trading.
Losing the money is the easiest way to teach those irresponsible trader, they should experience the worst first before making any progress which is not good especially if you can avoid it in the first place. Being a trader is consider as your job, and in order to succeed you have to do your job correctly but if your focus is not to learn, don’t expect trading can make your rich, there’s no successful trader today that is purely based on their guesses.

Definitely right! If they will lose a significant amount of money, that will be their expensive lesson in their trading journey.
Being a trader is not a walk in the park. Before you can say you have more than enough skills to win this journey,
you already have had your fair share of losses. It is not an overnight achievement but years and years of experience.
Learning the ins and outs of tradings would take years as each project has their own set of features and you can't apply it just to any project.
1210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it possible to invest in bitcoin to build a country whose economy is down? on: January 21, 2023, 08:51:18 PM
what is my understanding like that, I ask for your opinion from all of you?
Bitcoin is not a magical stick that fixes all the problems in one country, and I doubt it can help entire country as long as there is corruption and other problems.
It can certainly help some individuals in that country, and maybe slowly spread and expand circle of adoption to more and more people.
We have few examples of countries with bad economy trying Bitcoin experiments, but making Bitcoin a legal tender in some country can certainly attract bitcoin oriented investors.

I am also on this side, it is not a miracle currency that can transform the economy of a certain country which has economic problems.
Yes, it may help some of its people but it doesn't mean that making bitcoin a legal tender will be the gateway to economic success.
It depends on how the government will utilize the use of btc to their advantage. As you said, they may use it to attract investors.
However, there is no guarantee for such path as there are too many factors that are involve in the economic situation of each country.
1211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's a good idea to just register on casino on: January 21, 2023, 07:06:22 PM
There is this thing about shopping and airlines that when you check and forget, they send you bonus or discount for your possible shopping/trip. Same holds true for casinos, if you just register and leave they will send you some bonus to get you started playing.

Is this actually real or Op is just contemplating on trying it out. Because they're some casinos that I have registered on back then but never got to use them after doing more research on them and finding out that their ToS doesn't suite me and up till now I still haven't received any bonus from them in any form not even the welcome bonus did I receive from them.

Yeah, I know that they're lots of them that still offers some spicy bonus out there but most times I feel you have to make some deposit before you can have access to them so for Op just opening an account and leaving it idle and expecting to receive some bonus is not realistic to me.

These are real promotions that are really happening.

If a platform knows that you signed up with them but haven't made a single deposit, they will send all the possible promotions and bonuses on your email to try and entice you into making that deposit. They will bait you long and hard until you give in and send money their way. This is not an uncommon marketing strategy to use, and it is effective too because the platform is somewhat making a sense of 'urgency' to the intended audience and those who received the email will feel like they'd be passing up on a great opportunity if they declined.

But remember, such bonus may be tied up with wagering requirements, so it is not totally free.
I don't think the casino will just give free bonus without any conditions attached to it.
Even with deposit bonus, they require certain wagering requirements. How much more if you have no deposit at all?
So yes, it is happening but look out for the conditions you need to complete before you can make a withdrawal.
Usually, they won't disclose the conditions at your first glance, you need to find their terms by clicking the details.
1212  Economy / Gambling / Re: wild.io 🔥 the ultimate #casino experience 🔥 on: January 21, 2023, 06:15:35 PM
I am confused about the part of the image where the promotions are displayed. It says 4th deposit three times in the images but the numbers are different every time. The image shows bonus amounts of 100%, 120%, and 150%. So, which one is it? Or does it somehow depend on the sums being deposited or something?
Maybe I am answering my own question, but underneath it you say that higher deposits receive bigger bonuses.

What's the casino's current bankroll and do you have enough funds to pay out significant wins? Tell me what happens if a player wins a 15 BTC Jackpot, for example, and from where would you pay that out?

Yes, it depends on your deposit amount how much you are getting for your bonus.
You can check it in their welcome package page - https://wild.io/promotions/welcome-package
Below are the terms for the first deposit bonus as example

Please do take note of their wagering requirements also -

The wagering requirements is the same up until fourth deposit bonus - 40x.
So don't get too tempted easily as their wagering requirements is bit high.
I don't think they will disclose their bankroll but let's see what the OP's response on this.
They have their gambling license, so I am thinking they have good amount of money as bankroll.
1213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's a good idea to just register on casino on: January 20, 2023, 09:55:49 PM
There is this thing about shopping and airlines that when you check and forget, they send you bonus or discount for your possible shopping/trip. Same holds true for casinos, if you just register and leave they will send you some bonus to get you started playing.

For sure, it's not free money and there's a wagering or turnover requirement before you can able to withdraw your winnings.

But I think dormant accounts might be subject to account termination if didn't log in within a given period of time that is allowed by the gambling site.

Regardless, that is something not interesting to me. If you will just come back playing on that site once a bonus is offered, that's not worth it based on my own view. Better found a gambling site that has a good VIP program and is active there as all the amount wagered is counted as progress to the next level.

Definitely, it is not free money. Most casinos have their wagering requirements  before you can withdraw your winnings.
And yes, do take note that casinos have certain penalties for dormant accounts like monthly fee or terminating account after so many months of inactivity.
They are giving bonus but it is not totally free, they just want their users to re-activate their account and see if they can continue playing.
1214  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nebeus: the easiest way to send money to a Crypto Casino!! on: January 19, 2023, 09:58:42 PM
If the casino I am gambling on is a crypto currency casino which means  they accept crypto deposit and withdrawals, I don't see any need or reason to want to deposit fiat directly to the casino, or even deposit my crypto to the casino from a centralized service other than crypto exchange where I trade.
Fiat is outdated, the only reason why we still have need for it is because for now, it is still the generally accepted means of payment for goods and services, most of our older forks don't understand what bitcoin is all about yet, and as such, they are still skeptical about incorporating it into their businesses, aside this , fiat is fading away, and so is every centralized monetary system and organizations fading away as well.
Also, depositing fiat to a crypto casino would cost more in transactions because of convertion unlike with direct cryptocurrency transaction wherein fees are simply lower, same with withdrawals by the way. But I doubt with being outdated, it is more focused on the present. People are still using it simply because they prefer it more over cryptocurrencies for daily transactions and we cannot blame them from doing so.We do have preferences, I guess. On my end I am using crypto by means of depositing into casinos simply to avoid additional taxes and also delays because oayments would undergo through chains.

I think it depends on the availability of funds of the player himself.
Some are using the method what the OP describe because they need to use their fiat before they can convert to crypto.
Whereas some here can use their crypto directly. Lucky for those who don't need their debit card to purchase crypto.
But if there's a way of transferring your crypto to your own wallet (noncustodial) first before sending it to gambling sites, much better in my opinion.
1215  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does a trading strategy becomes obsolete? on: January 19, 2023, 09:36:06 PM
The whole market keeps on moving depending on how traders buy and sell. If there's only one or two strategy to trade in the market, then the whole market won't be moving at all, or moving towards only one direction. And people will create some new strategy to overcome the situation. From my point of view, nothing becomes obsolete in crypto market. If so then no one will be making loss or profits. Different people use different strategies based on the market situation they are in.
Any trader can create their own strategy depending on the market situation. There's no uniform strategy for everyone and I guess that's one of the reasons why the market remains volatile. Trading strategies will not be obsolete. It could change depending on the situation but people will still use and apply it. New strategies exist each day as traders discover their trading techniques and they will surely continuously develop in time.

Remember also that every coin has their own features, hence, you can't apply the known strategy that you know of.
Each project is unique, so it depends on their performance on the market how you will attack them.
It means, you will not run out of strategy because there are so many and it is not specific to a certain coin.
What you can do better is learn more about the project, its progress and what do you think is the plan of its developers?
1216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you handle your losses on: January 18, 2023, 09:29:42 PM
Talking about handling losses, we can not be hundred percent sure we can handle it entirely because loosing while gambling is inevitabe at first place,

You're not making sense here. You aren't sure if you can handle the loss, knowing it's inevitable? If you know it's inevitable, get ready for it beforehand. When you know you're going to get drunk that evening, you make sure you take a bus or a taxi so that your car doesn't get left somewhere in the city, you eat a good meal, tell your family where you'll be in case you got lost or couldn't get home by yourself. You can get ready for most things in life and you can get ready for a loss of money. How? For instance by betting small amounts and making sure the loss won't affect your life. Pay your bills first, if you have a loan make sure monthly installment is covered, put some money aside for unexpected things and gamble with the rest.

That's what you call preparation. So if you are into gambling, you should already know the consequences.
And with such possible consequences, you can already make your options how to tackle those situations.
Yes, like possible loss of money. How do you handle such situation? Pay your bills first as you stated.
Or use only your extra funds so you won't regret or blame yourself for being too careless.
1217  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hello i want to make traders dream come true on: January 18, 2023, 08:59:49 PM
I love the OP for being sincere about his pump and dump game. He didn't try to be small in order to deceive people. Some call it signal group and try and give out free signals for short time and then try to execute their plan of pump and dump.
It is only small of people in this forum that will be willing to join a scheme where some will smile and many will. It is just like a ponzi scheme.

If you are a long-timer already in the trading game, you won't be interested on his game.
They may have a lil bit of capital to influence a small market cap coin but usually, the benefits is on him or their group.
Because they will be giving a delayed signal for those who will join, and you will end up in bad position.
For those who will try this game, they will soon learn their lessons. And they will say such group is just a waste of your resources.
Instead of realizing your dreams, they will ruin your life by screwing up your funds.
1218  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Pumping After The Arrest of Sam on: January 18, 2023, 08:10:01 PM
This is late reaction if you want to connect Bitcoin's increase in its price and the arrest of Sam Bankman-Fried. Sam was arrested weeks ago. In fact he is even already set free. He is allowed to set bail. So this rise in the price that we are seeing for the past days is not caused whatsoever by the arrest of Sam. It isn't related at all. The rise of Bitcoin's price is of course brought by more than one cause but it is mainly demand-driven. And people don't buy Bitcoin simply because Sam was arrested.

Seems that the OP is bit late with his reaction, but btc pumping is not owed to SBF's arrest.
Yes, he is free because of the multi-million dollar bail. I believe there's sudden increase because FTX said that they located about $5B of assets.
Now, if it will be distributed to its investors, we don't know yet. We have no idea what they will do to those located assets.
I believe it is also the contribution of other positive news why we surpassed the 20k level, it should not be focused only to the FTX case.
1219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Provably fair games are not fair on: January 17, 2023, 09:50:50 PM
This is complex content so I will explain my opinion in short and best possible way. If you keep using same client seed and do same bets on same games casinos can take advantage of stable variables to rig provably fairness. Shuffle puff is used to give player worst possible combinations and it will lead to more losses than green bets.  You are safe if you use various random client seeds and try different original games, IMHO.

Better yet, if you are in doubt with these games, then simply don't play.
If you think you are being taken advantage of and you are not enjoying the game, look for other games that you think will satisfy your desires.
So even after checking the provably fairness of the site and you are not satisfied, maybe, it is time to change your game or your site.
This kind of consideration is up to the gambler himself. The casino will put their provably fairness system in place and it is on you how to utilize it.
1220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will Sam Bankman-Fried go to jail? on: January 17, 2023, 08:58:33 PM
It appears the quickness and speed of how long the regulators act on a case also depends on who were scammed by the scammers. Sam Bankrupt-Fried has chosen the wrong people to scam hehehehe. According to some news articles, the investors that Sam scammed included Robert Kraft the owner of the New England Patriots, Tom Brady the quarterback of Tampa Bay Buccaneers, his super model wife Gisselle Bünchen, Joe Tsai the cofounder of Alibaba and other sports celebrities.

Do Kwon might have done it correctly because he only scammed his users and his fellow ponzi schemers hehe. It is speculated that he is in Singapore.
Sam bankman fried was arrested on December 13 2022, the arrest took place after the prosecutor's office received an official notification from the United States, even though sam bankman fried had been charged with eight criminal charges including fraud and money laundering but sam bankman fried still pleaded not guilty, the court even acquitted sam bankman fried with a guarantee of USD 250 million or the equivalent of 3.8 trillion, the explosion of the ftx collapse case sent a new shock wave through the cryptocurrency industry, which pushed the value of bitcoin sharply lower for 2022 .

Although the crash of FTX caused a shock wave in the crypto world, it did not, in my view, cause bitcoin to plummet as you say. If I'm not mistaken, before the FTX crash, bitcoin price was at 17k, 18k, and after the crash bitcoin dropped to 15.5k. This drop is nothing compared to previous drops from ATH to $30k or the demise of Luna. The collapse of FTX only caused significant damage to those investors who had trusted to leave their money on FTX.

FTX drama may not have significant impact with bitcoin's price but we have seen that sentiments were fairly negative at that period.
Now, that FTX is claiming they seemingly to recover about $5B assets, the mood changes as people see hope for this case.
But in any case, I don't think SBF will be jailed as it seems, there are financial backers that may possibly want to bail him out.
Bail him out meaning, there may be big financial investors that will possibly assist in the recovery of his business.
