its not really, he was contracted to fixed the botched code (which he did beautifully)

thats not the official repo though... there is a commit missing that will hinder compilation in the main repo that should be merged shorty so I would recommend keeping an eye on the official repo from this point on.

Yep I will be pulling my repo down soon after its merged. For some reason having a repo with the word anal in it isnt great for business Tongue

dont be ashamed sir, your anal is amazing.

549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can someone double check my Linux Wallet on: April 23, 2015, 12:11:25 PM
Thank you so much billotronic. A few questions:

2. extracted files are shared objects and not executables?

Whats wrong with this?

5. you get two points for them at least launching with my default libs installed

I don't understand this one, what libs did you replace with your default ones, and what got two points?

Also do you have any suggestions?

well #2 struck me as odd and it also means that they have to be started from a command line and not the easy double click

#5 mind you, I do not know anything about building distributable programs for linux, but in the past I usually would have to install say, a specific version of boost or whatever that the bin was linked against. (which is why most people don't bother building bin's for linux)

I highly anticipate these issues becoming a thing of the past with TEETH

10k and BALLS showed us the limits of the Peercoin code, so we are definitely not going to try pushing them again this time. I wish you guys knew how thankful I was for sticking in with 10k and BALLS while we figured out what the coins could and could not do; the data we got from these two chains was invaluable and could never be replicated on testnet. It was a great experiment in math, economics, and human nature, and I believe we now have everything out of them that we need. I consider 10k and BALLS both to be a huge success

I really think GorillaEx and TEETH are going to make you guys happy you waited  Wink

is the human nature part of your experiment how much you can fleece out of your flock of sheeple? You should teach college level sociology ffs

i am brave and in possession of a virtual machine...

1. virustotal came back clean

2. extracted files are shared objects and not executables?

3. the client synced without addnodes

4. your sync progress bar is broken and does not represent the remaining blocks to process

5. you get two points for them at least launching with my default libs installed

555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CPU mining? on: April 23, 2015, 12:03:57 AM
What you are all failing to grasp is that PoW is dead and PoS or similar scheme is the way of the future. You will never get BTC or LTC adopted with the amount of global pollution produced to secure the blockchain. That shit is coming to an ugly end.

Only low cost/low energy blockchain solutions are worth talking about, otherwise you are trying to jb weld the titanic back together.
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Pebblecoin (XPB) - DPOS REG OPEN - Botnet Resistant - Cryptonote, Wallet GUI! on: April 22, 2015, 09:24:10 PM
