At the advice of Sr. Otronic, I purchase this little beauty last week Cost my about $80 after getting all the parts I wanted, heat sync, case, cables, etc. I didn't fork up the extra cash for the eMMc *yet*, and am running a normal sdcard. http://www.hardkernel.com/main/products/prdt_info.php?g_code=G141578608433I just got it fully synced and got my first stake with it I am running the daemon. It takes about 5% of my CPU and 17% of memory. The CPU bumps up near 100% for about one second once every 30 seconds or so when it produces a new round of PoS hashes (without the liteStake code it would have been near 100% all the time I would guess). I was able to compile fairly easily. I used: ./autogen.sh ./configure --with-gui=no --with-incompatible-bdb make Takes about 30 minutes to compile. The bootstrap takes a few hours to complete as well. Here is a pic with coffee cup for scale. Notice that the odroid is smaller than my WDTV. could you help with the installation of device ,i cant do linux What do you need help with? Also, there are plenty of friendly folks on ##hypstake on freenode that would be happy to help you with any problem you might have.

Let me sum this up for you.
The technology behind cryptonote obliterates darkcoin. It's mathematically provable, it doesn't have random nodes that mostly exist in the amazon cloud to mix shit.
Monero cons
Original authors are scam artists so other devs have taken it over (for XMR) Low market cap Mostly held up by bitcoin whales who have no experience in altcoins Not enough money to fund development (devs are using their own money). Probably will run out at some point and project will die. Kinda fubar'd emission
Dark cons
Massive premine Alternated emission curve to jack price up (make early guys rich on shoulders of late guys after the fact). Use of node required funding to prop price up. Spaghetti code Hypeish name that attracts the wrong crowd Project will die as soon as devs don't have more coins to unload on a market they create by releasing features. Even if that isn't the case, changing emission curve as dramatically as it was PLUS the massive instamine will kill it longterm.
This I think is a very accurate description of the cons. I think the underlying theme is they are both bullshit and better can be done.

Public Testnet Wallet sapience-qt-plm-windows64bit-19.zip 9.9 MBThis is a latest build from today that you can experiment with to see what it is we are building in action. It is a bleeding-edge TEST build and therefore it will have bugs, issues, etc. The Python shell is disabled in this Windows build while I sort through mingw issues and debate whether to swap to Lua. You should only run this on testnet and not on mainnet with your wallets you care about. You can either pass testnet from the command line: start sapience-qt.exe -testnet Or put an entry in your Sapience.conf file: Note that since it is on testnet, we may reset the blockchain from time to time etc. We'll try to give a heads up. Also you will need coins on testnet to pay for data reservations, please post on the dfx.io forum thread for that: http://forums.dfx.io/index.php?topic=82.0The core of PlumeDB is fully functional in this build and we already have someone who is building an interesting demo app on top of it that looks pretty awesome. Have fun! sooo linux and mac users are shit out luck?? No github update=fail train

Well, my balance is about 50% of what it was late last week. I must have gotten off on the wrong fork. Easy come, easy go.
@Presstab, that was a very nice explanation you put forth in that article.
backup your wallet.dat then Tools -> Repair wallet Will do! Thanks! no problemo. IF that does not sort you out, jump on to irc so we can help you better.

@DEV Any change for a win32 release ?
Not many coins offer x86 support, but I've heard it's worked for win32 users, Why not rent a windows vps for 5$ a month and store coins there? Well actually according to what I see luckely the majority still does offer win32. But that has no meaning since this project has my interest right now. Renting a VPS is not much of interest, right now I can do almost anything I want with my home PC. And I have at times a lot of p2p stuff running. Well if you are going to run 32 bit windoze, then mayhaps it might be of use to learn how to cook the software yourself? It's only half as painful as the instructions make it out to be.

What's the right chain? The one from http://hyp.cryptocoinexplorer.com/ or the longer one? My wallet seems to always want to sync me to the longer one with the 1.1 version. AFAIK it's the one from hyp.cryptocoinexplorer.com with the longer chain being the bad fork. Right now my wallet it also trying to sync with the longer chain and is indicating that it is 232 blocks behind. I have 62 active connections with the network. I have had no trouble staking and no orphans. This is correct. As more clients and weight leave the incorrect chain to the new fork, the old chain will die off and the client will stop showing out of sync.

Hello, I represent a billionaire tycoon investor who is interested in purchasing some of this.
But seriously.
There are some very good things and some very bad things about this project.
The bad.
1) It's an obvious scam. That's a bad thing.
2) It's a poorly run scam. That is to say it's a bad thing done poorly.
3) So far about 99% of this project appears to be smoke. The other 1% hasn't been analyzed yet.
The good.
The project itself has an unfocused adaptability that would make it useful to a more serious project. It is like a chainsaw that has been idling, pretending to work but actually just buzzing.
The misuse of the phrase "artificial intelligence" is annoying. The phrase has several meanings and with this coin the most primitive applies. However, artificial intelligence in its other sense, its more useful sense, is one of the most important subjects as more and more fields become too specialized to have a large community of experts.
A coin can be built specifically to force the development of more powerful algorithms. It would be a real bitcoin 2.0 and although it would not be proprietary, it could be lucrative to begin, if that is a person's goal.
Thank you for the half assed attempt at whatever bullshit this is supposed to be. Next time when you make a new account, you should at the very least, make many so to increase your chances of me still not giving a fuck about your 0day post crap. Seriously? xoxo -bill Why on earth would I care at all whether you give a fuck about anything? because I'm going to continue to call you a chicken shit coward til you come back and post with your actual account.

Wow a legendary member that cannot tell the difference between a ponzi and Pos coin. you do know that a ponzi filters money to the top yeah? and people have to keep buying in to pay members of the ponzi. 10k is nothing like this at all lmao. what have you been doing with all the time it takes become a so called "legend" certainly not studying different types of proof of work/ stake etc. im amazed
Wtf are you talking about ? lol Get rich scheme.. .ponzi... there is little to no difference between the two. eg. If no one buys your PoW or PoS crypto fiat, the ponzi/scheme will die. Btw, did anyone else notice the timestamp from block 1 ? It appears that someone gave themselves a 90 minute head start. http://10k.mmxivcoin.com/block/00000000001c7995ded40d4c59a48cffbf2230fc95885e46d636f96647df9b13Yea it was me, to get a checkpoint in and make sure the server was working. It's what people who know what they are doing do You are just proving you don't know what a ponzi is, or you are just trolling. Either way, not worth the time. It was more than fair. Honestly, it makes me feel good that you expect nothing but absolute perfection from me at this point, which is exactly what you are getting. Your plan has backfired and my ego is now enlarged Its not just one block. Block 1000 was minted 22 minutes after launch. AMAZING ! http://10k.mmxivcoin.com/block/000000009819f23be00eac9e3e6d0f579248f2328c2605a005aab31a6fa3b30cWho ever bought some or all of those instamined cryptofiat shitcoins, is now looking for someone else to feed thier fat bagholding ass. Ponzi.. get rich quick scheme.. cloned garbage .. call it what you will. They all smell like shit to us. spots is laughing at the sheeple all the way to the bank.

On the latest wallet is there a S4C?
I do not see the option.
s4c has been replaced by the super duper sexy multisend. At the moment, this can only be used via command line or through the debug console in the Qt. here is the output of the help for multisend: multisend <command> **************************************************************** WHAT IS MULTISEND? MultiSend is a rebuild of what used to be called Stake For Charity (s4c) MultiSend allows a user to automatically send a percent of their stake reward to as many addresses as you would like The MultiSend transaction is sent when the staked coins mature (30 confirmations) The only current restriction is that you cannot choose to send more than 100% of your stake using MultiSend **************************************************************** MULTISEND COMMANDS (usage: multisend <command>) print - displays the current MultiSend vector clear - deletes the current MultiSend vector enable/activate - activates the current MultiSend vector disable/deactivate - disables the current MultiSend vector delete <Address #> - deletes an address from the MultiSend vector disable <address> - prevents a specific address from sending MultiSend transactions enableall - enables all addresses to be eligible to send MultiSend transactions **************************************************************** TO CREATE OR ADD TO THE MULTISEND VECTOR: multisend <HyperStake Address> <percent> This will add a new address to the MultiSend vector Percent is a whole number 1 to 100. **************************************************************** Any questions hit someone up on irc or here bud. It's pretty bad ass.
