RAmen to that! Could not agree more!
Agreed here as well 1.6 is my fav. Shit I wish that I had... though I picked up Source a few years back on sale for $5 so maybe they will run it again... then again, mayhaps if you posted a donation address for porting to source I'm sure folks would throw down
I'm pretty sure I own one or more copies of source, I just can't figure out what the steam info for them is. That's why I planned to just pick it up once on sale, CS:GO as well as it is very high population at the moment. I can post up a donation address but what about server fees and coins to cover the bots until players populate the server? All bonuses can be disabled making it a zero sum game for the server itself, giving bots 0 balances. A server will run ~$28USD/month. So far I am just covering these costs. If I open a CS:S and or CS:GO server I would need another server to run them from, I am out of resources. It would be a couple of weeks work for me to get it going in source, I estimate. I will need to start from scratch, but I assume with the similarities between engines it is possible. I'm not sure which way to go with other games. I see a demand for a survival type game with a coin wallet. I'd personally like a really nice website for the CS 1.6 game as it is. Better display of player stats, ladders, tournaments with prizes, video stream of the game in progress, ability to create a private match with members of the site, match creator or each party agreeing to join the match via the site and paying some coins in. Private password protected server being automatically spun up in the cloud just for their match. It would be nifty How many thousands of dollars does that cost, gweedo? I think I could do it all but I am fairly lazy and it sounds like a ton of work. Man I hear ya. Ok, so I've got to find me a copy of 1.6 I can live with that. Let me ask you this, how would you label your project? Is this still beta or a launchable project? Could you make it play to pay? I would think most folks who would want to play 1.6 are already in the mindset of maybe helping share the costs (I know I've payed my fair share of server costs over the years) and might be worth pursuing.

May have nothing! I'm full blown junkie now! I just ordered in 12 boxes of the damn things (a few were for my mother) but I've now resorted to having a shelf dedicated to the bloody things.
ON TOPIC yes and in a sense I can't say that I blame them. I rented CPU power to mine a small fortune of MEG and it wasn't free... but then again it wasn't crazy either and a cost I could shoulder or just straight out loose on and not be the end of the world. You'd think that anyone who took the effort to even bother would at least want to get the most out of their efforts. Thats what really kills me, one satoshi higher would double the return but nooOOooo, some jackass(es) dumps 3 BTCs the second it hits an exchange.
I will fully support and contribute funding to any project that will let my digitally reach across the globe and slap a sucka in the face.

Hi guys. I am noticing there is a lack of community/post count for this coin. May I make a suggestion, have you thought about doing a giveaway to members here who wear a signature with something like "MEG to the moon!" or some type of similar signature. A lot of threads in the ANN section get lost due to so many other coins having a lot of action going on in theirs. Doing a signature giveaway would spread the word on many threads and give you a bit of PR where it matters, which is on these forums. I have seen many other coins do this with some success as I have found out about a few coins myself by seeing someone's signature. I like the fact it's no IPO/pre mine and the dev seems to be up for listening and making changes when needed. I think the rebrand and new logo on coin is a good start and maybe any PR push should be put off until these changes are in full effect. Oh, by the way billo, Highland grog is quite a nice coffee Agreed. Got on an exchange then everyone has buggered off. ffs. -Kestrel not as good as those After Eights

oh man you mean I have to actually find my disk? shit.
Port this to cs:source and I will dry hump your leg
If you added it to Steam you can just download CS via Steam. I don't know where any of my discs are so this is mandatory I would also like to see this implemented in source, I'm waiting on a steam sale which would make CS:S cost $5 or so. I'm a cheap bastard. CS 1.6 is the best CS:S is just a skin of CS 1.6 RAmen to that! Could not agree more! oh man you mean I have to actually find my disk? shit.

I've made a research on the commit that the NoodleDoodle has claimed to make publicly available. And you know what, I have found something very weird.
Experiment
Core I5, Windows.
Two attempts
1) Binaries compiled from the source code that NoodleDoodle committed yesterday. 2) Pre-compiled binaries that were spread on this topic.
Results
Hashrate:
1) Compiled binaries: 8.3 - 8.9 hr/s 2) Pre-compiled binaries: 15.1 - 15.5 hr/s
Come on guys, this stinks! Aren't you lying again?
My questions:
1) How exactly can the hash rates differ by the factor of 2 if they are on the same code? (Hint: it is impossible). 2) Why do the "team" claim that they've made the source code publicly available when they actually hide the real optimization? 3) Doesn't this mean that instamine is actually going on? 4) How much more the "team's" miners are optimized?
I guess, explanation is required.
Everyone is welcome to try it out themselves.
DISCLOSURE: I am not a coder BUT When I built on linux from the updated git my hashrate doubled on my FX8350 So not sure what you are gettin on about.
