Hi everyone, Currently I'm trying to build the latest wallet on Ubuntu 14.04 64bit. Seems to build cleanly with no errors, however no HyperStake-qt executable appears as expected. I have met all dependencies and have built wallets up to this point. Anyone help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Im not laughing at you, I am laughing with you... cause this got me too... Check the 'Release' folder

Is anyone else getting an error with the wallet? Seems like an error with the bittrex API...
Looks like there is something up with bittrex... " Error 1002 Ray ID: 1923d00039d410bd DNS points to local or disallowed IP "

I think the title is still VERY misleading and unfair..
And the context of the bag holder kvgear is a critical part off this story too !
I can't say much compared to HYP coin at least what Spots did was far more honest and legit than what they did. And "premine scam" ?
I don't think anyone cares about this topic because they can see it's not.. And the only people who seem to care are HYP bag holders *jealous now and guys who have a Hate on for iGotSpots..
And i have always fought with Spots but i would always give him his props if they are due and i think this topic is unfair and pretty much dishonest If you have some proof of a REAL "premine Scam" then go for it light his ass up and let's see it. So far i have heard nothing..

We are moving the HyperStake source code from my personal github account, to a dedicated HyperStake account. You can now find all of the fresh commits here: https://github.com/hyperstake/HyperStakeHyperStake is growing up, and this is part of the process Ok, I will bite, what is the pro's and con's for doing this? well that kinda takes the fun out of this screen shot of 182 folks in the main chat... presstab's sample quote: "billotronic loves apple" . . . i just shot meade out of my nose laughing So, you also like honey oh man do I... a little too much

1, word 2. word F. hmmm 2.1 That's exactly what I meant. two points (pm me your address so I can send you some love for that. I literally laughed out loud.) 3. ok. and a huge shoutout to zeewolf for the theme code! w00t w00t 4. ok 5. thanks 6. Freenode has a browser based client here. You could just use it this one time and we wont tell anyone. I swear. It's also a million times better to try and troubleshoot what's going on if someone can talk to you in real time as opposed to 'snail mail' ing it through this forum. Just sayin. 7. Don't thank me yet, I have no clue why you are getting so many orphans. I was banking on you rar'ing the internet with the client staking or something of that nature. 8. Shot in the dark, what is your CPU usage when and when you do not have mature coins? 9. What is the speed of your internet? 10. How many connections do you have? 11. Can you upload your debug.log? In win7 it should be in C:\Users\YourUserName\Appdata\Roaming\HyperStake 54. To anyone who can answer, would getstaketx show anything on an orphan? I dont have any in my history to check right now. 55. What the shit would cause that many orphans? If you send in your debug log, do it to one of us over PM, unless you want all of bct knowing your ip address. My guess is that you have a slow internet connection. oo good thinking... in my defence, it was REALLY late when I posted that.

maximum stake is 618 coins right?
and i think that there is a bug with mac qt wallet. it keeps blinking on the display when you open the wallet.
Yes, its a known issue with the Mac wallet. I am going to mention something to the dev that built the Mac wallet for me, to try removing the translucency in the window, I think it may be a QT OpenGL issue. All bs aside, there is a reason people charge for mac wallets. Total pain in the ass.

Just wanted to drop in and say hey! The wallet has been working well, staking has been successful! I do get some error messages now and again saying that something is losing connectivity (I assume it's the Quant page), but that doesn't affect performance at all. Looking forward to seeing what comes next for the 'Quotient Financial Network' Tryin to get some trading started on coin-swap Crypto Radio supports XQN! http://radio.deadlightbulb.comAny plans for Win32 release ? I will get a 32-bit toolchain going soon and do a 32-bit build, there is more demand for this than I would have expected in 2014 It's doable. Idk why I was quoted w this question... but I'm on x64 Heaven forbid.. Your rep is ruined now.. [insert arrogant linux user] I don't know... win AND 32 is a pretty damning label. Anyone wanna explain what is happening? what is the unique feature? What I really liked about the client is the tabbed console. Not a game changer, but sticks out as something I used a lot.

I don't know... I'd argue that.
I guess in my make believe perfect world it doesn't take long for new blood to either get ripped off/read enough to learn some of the danger signs... shit, even I was dumb enough to 'invest' in loans on btcjam before I knew any better.
[edit] I think what it boils down to is folks in general should be smart enough to not trust a stranger because some other stranger told you they were legit.

Thanks everyone. Makes sense now. Silly question but say I've got a number of ~1600 blocks staking right now. Do the staked coins join each block once either the 1000 limit hits or 30 day limit hits (whichever happens first)?
I guess I'm asking is it an instant addition of coins to the wallet and then I need to re-calculate new blocks and repeat?
In the newest version of the wallet you can tell it what to do. It is called "splitstakethreshold" and is in the RPC commands. If you set the threshold to 1,000 (default setting in new wallet) it means that it will take your full reward and old block amount, and if it is over 2,000 HYP it will make them into two blocks. If the full amount was less than 2,000 it would combine them as one block. So you think of the threshold number as the minimum block size it will make if it splits. and it saves to the wallet!!!! man I LOVE that... one less thing for me to forget to do!
