shit coin

Lol you're joking right?

He's implementing a new crypto algorithm for mining coins, currently by himself!

All of these coins you see that launch within 2 days of announcement are just copying code created by someone else and changing the block reward and logo's.

It's easy to copy work from someone else, it's not easy to come up with and implement original code.

Plus he's doing it pretty much for free. There's the 2% of each block over the course of the entire coin. So he only gets anything out of it if the coin does well for a long period of time.

If you aren't joking then please just go mine the next scam coin that comes out where a "dev" copied code and set aside a hidden premine or instamined and destroys the value of the coin as

soon as it gets launched on an exchange. Because that is obviously what you're looking for.

Hear hear to this!

There are a couple of us in the process of taking this coin over. Stay tuned for more info. There are only 8.5 million of this coin it should not be a 100 sat price.

Not to be captain piss on your parade but wouldn't it be easier to fork your coins you are holding over to HYP like the rest of us? They already have active devs working on the coin and would require very little effort on your part.

U know u still have ur truckcoins right captain Wink the fork meant u got a free Hype forevery trk u held , u didnt lose your Trk coins.
U can run both wallets at the same time as long as u assign a port number to one of them , like "hyperstake-qt.exe -port=12345" or do that for trk coin works fine.

Right, you know what I meant

Point being, this dev is not active.

I dont think it will. I think everything is as it should be here, Just need some more hash, Are people still having issues with the windows minerd.exe? If so I can try my hand at compiling one?

Good luck with that bud. Everytime I read and reread win instructions for compiling it makes my damn head hurt. Still, it would help the network a ton with the added hash... and help make things more 'fair' since us linux pukes get to run amok on the pools.
1267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [TEST RELEASE] Cryptonite binary for linux (mini-blockchain implementation) on: July 11, 2014, 03:08:18 AM
ok then silly question, can I have multiple daemons connect to one central daemon and just mine to one wallet?

You have a couple of options here. One is to take the wallet.dat file from your main machine and copy it over the file on any miners. This will cause all blocks to get mined into your same accounts, but it is risky because if any miner gets compromised the attacker would have all of your keys. Other possibility is that when you first setup a miner, run dumpwallet to export all keys and then import all keys from all miners into your main setup. So a little bit of work, but no master/slave thing is really needed.

hmmmm interesting. Option A would be a lot more feasible for my situation and a simple added layer of insurance would just to have the mining wallet feed into a separate wallet on a timer. Thank you for the brain candy sir.

I have been playing with my computer time settings and now my log has a ton of these messages:
2014-07-11 05:17:10 ERROR: AcceptToMemoryPool: : coinbase as individual tx
and now i can't connect to server.

Where have you been hiding? Playing with something other than you system clock I presume?

WE NEED A BETTER BLOCK EXPLORER WITH A RICHLIST!!!

Patience! If I can fake it, you can too.

I'll drink to that!

hehe yes, very true.

I think I am just bitter that I don't have any btc at the moment to buy up cheap coins...

on the bright side of things, you guys need to push out an updated exe for the windows folks... its sooOoOOOooo nice having a more accurate stake time in the gui.

I can help test as well. I have many *buntu variants 32 & 64 and a few random win boxes for color.

Ok, downloaded the compiled miner, but got an error because a cygintl-8.dll is missing. This one is not in the folder with .dll's. If I can find it somewhere I just have to place it in the same folder as the miner I guess?

OK, found the .dll here: http://dlldown.co/plus/download2.php?aid=71794, put it in the folder, and now get the error message:

"the application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application".

50 PPL bounty for the person that can help me get this to work.

whats your .bat? someting like:

Quote
minerd -a cryptohash -o stratum+tcp://people.suprnova.cc:3674 -u user -p password

Exactly this, including correct user and pass.

holy shit that was easy! repairwallet fixed me right up... which is good cause this should help out the chain since a large chunk of my coins are mature

1275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HYP] HyperStake | Proof of Stake | 750% Annual | Trading on Coin-Swap on: July 11, 2014, 12:09:00 AM
hmmm I've got an issue. Somehow my client has lost 11K coins. It says I have 73k but when I dumped my tx's and took out the orphans etc my total came out to 84k (which is what I had but the client shows different now)

Any thoughts?

Best thing to do is to check the block explorer. Look at your address.  What the block explorer says is what is official.  What your wallet says can get screwed up.

If your wallet does not say the same as the explorer, then do the following:

First and most importantly go to your appdata directory and make a backup of your wallet.dat - don't skip this step.  Name the backup wallet-backup7-10-14.dat or something.

Second startup the wallet in terminal with the salvage wallet switch. So if the exe is in my documents I would type this into terminal:
Code:
documents/HyperStake-qt.exe -rescan

This should rescan your wallets and hopefully your coins will show back up.

If not try again and use -salvagewallet (but note that when using salvagewallet you will be assigned a new address as the primary address of your wallet).

And I do plan on adding these features maybe into the GUI of a future version of the wallet.  Tranz has done amazing work in this area that I could mimic for hyp.

Ok the block explorer shows the right balance so it must be on my end. I will try these next. I've never had to use salvagewallet before... is that flag used by itself after a failed rescan and do I just use it by itself or with rescan too?

a big THANK YOU to presstab and Biomech for helping!

CC is enabled and there are no coins listed next to stake in the main window of the GUI. I should also add this is on linux and was built about 4 hours ish ago (so pretty current source)

I don't think this is the issue though cause I made the switch after noticing the missing coins from my wallet in my xp vm (which didn't seem to want to stay in synch so switched hosts for the wallet)

how hard would it be to make a stand alone miner for launch?

I seem to be the only one who caught this in the initial post

"After buying into TruckCoin and seeing the diminishing exchange rate because of lack of dev support, we decided to take things into our own hands."

So you bought into truck coin... allot, and when you realized you were losing your cash you forked it and added a super PoS, made a "new" coin and are selling it off to people .

No ones else sees whats going on here?

and some of us mined the bag we were holding...

But this is why that does not bother me:
